He replied, "Perhaps not in the physical sense, but it's glaringly obvious you're not even up to that age mentally or emotionally."
"You know, you've got a point there", I grudgingly admitted.
So I went home, opened the sets up, and spent a good twenty minutes assembling both of them. Although I liked the AT-AT kit more, this one ain't half-bad. It shares a reasonable resemblance to the real deal, though not quite as close I would have preferred. One thing I found kinda weird was that it sported a detailed top radar-dish-shaped piece complete with "seams" and "exhaust ports", as well as "escape pod door" end caps on the sides (see Amazon's photo of the product to see what I'm talking about)-- yet the cockpit piece had no windows. It's also kinda weird that this vessel has two "cannon barrels" atop the aforementioned top radar-dish piece (those antenna-like bits), but none on the bottom piece. Guess I'll just hafta borrow a couple antennae from my mini AT-AT to give this little freighter-fighter the proper look...
But in spite of its shortcomings, I found the Lego Millenium Falcon mini set a decent addition to my ultra-geekin' stash of Star Wars collectibles. I'd recommend it to any Star Wars fanboy who's too lazy to build and detail a proper model, and/or is strapped for space in the basement dwelling he's fashioned under his parents' house. And you KNOW who you are...

First, I have to deal with the issue of packaging, one I'm not really happy with when I see any newly released "older" figures. Its not that I really worry about the boxes, per say, but I think that the setup does influences choices, and if I weren't a bounty hunter fan then I might have passed up this blandly boxed Empire recreation. Next, there's the issue of the head and the hands, both of which don't really seem go with the figure at first. In fact, when I glanced that plastic molded head staring out at me from an otherwise cloth-ridden body, I was saddened. I had wished for it to be wrapped and not simply fitted to a clothed body, but neither the hands or the head are like that. Still, I do have to say that the figure is really a nice addition to my collection, looking better out of the box than in it. Here you have nothing overly surprising, for he's your atypical new release 12' model; with snapped-on armor that you never want to attempt to liberate adjoined with white cloth underneath, plastic boots anchoring a body that sometimes likes to stand, a limited flexibility, and a nice replica weapon/backpack (a snap-on) thrown in for good measure. The coloration is done well, plus the costuming was more than I had hoped for.
Basically, I would say that this is a worthy buy because I'm a bounty hunter fan. Still, its something worth checking into even if you like simply like the movie, giving you something to fixate on freezing anyone you meet in carbonite with.

Hopefully one of the best star wars games ever!!

The ship has firing missiles (lasers) and is very durable. I've seen this fall without getting much damage. The cockpit opens and a Vader figure (included with the set!) can sit inside comfortably.
I recommend this ship to anyone who like Star Wars and does not yet have this toy yet. I also recommend that if you purchase this, you should also consider purchasing Luke's X-Wing to go along with it.

The Force is strong with Jedi Power Battles
The best Jedi Computer game to date!!!Visually stunning, involving, and true to plot and character of Episode I, I found Jedi Power Battles far more playable than any of the Jedi Knight PC series, simply because of the 3rd person format and playablility of the characters: for any "Star Wars Saddos" who notice the combat manoevres in the film, the trademark moves of Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan are all faithfully reproduced and highly effective. So for anyone who wants highly involving, hard and fast action in the failing Old Republic, Jedi Power Battles provides all and more. A tried and tested master of this game, having played it fr nearly 2 years and done almost everything there is to do, my opinion is very simple - A total must.
Jedi Power Battles is cool!!! Danny(England)Like most games it takes a bit of time to get used to the controls and can be frustrating when first playing it. But once you master the jumps and moves it becomes very enjoyable!!
The levels are very inventive and well thought out. After each level you get special combo moves, but it is optional wether you want to use them. The handling of the characters is good and the range of moves is also good. The people who are critizing it probably have not learnt to play it!!!
The graphics look a bit dated compared to the newer stuff, but it is a must for a starwars fan!!
The only critisim is the Plo Kloon character is too slow and is impossible to beat DarthMaul on level 10!! I have been playing this game on and off for a year and would recommend it!!!!!!!

Although the main missions can be completed in an afternoon, it can take weeks to earn the bronze, silver, and gold medals that unlock the game's bonuses. These include extra missions, a few two-player modes, and the ability to choose any ship for each mission (including Darth Maul's incredibly powerful Infiltrator).
Most of the missions are intense, involving efforts like racing through an enemy-infested canyon or defending a base against a ceaseless procession of droid air and ground forces. The game engine can throw an overwhelming number of 3-D objects on the screen at once--such as a mission where more than 50 hostile fighters swarm nearly a dozen large capital ships. The beauty of these large battles is mesmerizing, with lasers crisscrossing, massive explosions thundering all around, and constant radio chatter alerting players to new threats.
The controls for the various fighters and bombers are extremely basic, and combat is straightforward, but there is always so much going on at once that the game mechanics almost need to be simple. The only real drawbacks to the game are a few bugs that occasionally crop up and prevent us from completing missions, and the fact that planetary missions have a low "ceiling" that prevents us from climbing very high. Even with these faults, the game exceeded our expectations, and no arcade, action, or Star Wars fan with a PlayStation2 will want to miss it. --T. Byrl Baker
Pros:
- No Jar Jar
- Stunning graphics
- Exciting, massive missions
Cons:
- Some mission-stopping bugs
- Simplistic combat will disappoint simulation fans looking for something along the lines of X-Wing Alliance

Magnificent...but repetitiveThis game just didn't hype me up to see what happens as I progressed every stage. After two hours of continuous blasting, it just got tiring and frustrating. By the way, this game will get you really dizzy because you are constantly in motion trying to target that one little ship after another. Overall, this game is not a bad game. I guarantee flight sim and Star Wars fans will love it. I blame myself for buying this game. I'm simply a Star Wars fan, and not a flight sim type of person.
Star Wars Starfighter: My ReviewOne thing is for sure, this game grew on me. I wasn't a fan of it in November of 2001, but I sure am now. Probably most comparable to STAR WARS: X-WING VS. TIE FIGHTER for the PC (which I love), this game features you piloting one of three characters on a variety of different missions on a variety of different worlds.
In game graphics are really good. Ships look very detailed and accurate to the specifications that the movies set forth. Controls are perfect - I've got no complaints.
While missions rarely are ever anything more than "Shoot a bunch of stationary objects while avoiding fire from various fighters", they always manage to be fun. They do, however, also manage to be frustrating at times. For one thing, you seem to be the only competent member of your squadron in the air at any given time. If you don't complete mission objectives, they won't get done. Asking for covering fire from teammates will help you very little, if at all. And despite always hearing your teammates cries for help, enemies tend to single you out pretty consistently and you are frequently bombarded by a large amount of laser fire, missiles, etc. This alone definitely hurts the final score.
Another thing that hurts the score is the length. While the game consists of fifteen missions, very few will take you more than one try to complete.
The story takes place around the events of STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE, and while it is better than the movie, it isn't anything to write home about. The introduction of the character works well enough (Character A's story will overlap with and serve as Character B's, effectively introducing the latter character), once it expands beyond that it tends to fall flat. Events come off as unmotivated, and above all confusing.
The presentation here is very high. From detailed level locations to John Williams' classic score, nothing here fails to impress.
All in all, I do believe that I should have given this game more of a chance two years ago. It was fun while it lasted (which wasn't very long), and it definitely made me want to go out and pick up STAR WARS: JEDI STARFIGHTER, which is something that I was totally against a few days prior to playing this game again.
Lucas Arts Does It Again!!!!
The Millennium Falcon is pretty true to the original. The finished model is the size of the palm of a large hand. A good size for playing with.
The directions are standard Lego format and are easy to follow. The final construction is solid and believable. The set includes extra parts for making part of a Y-Wing (the rest of the parts are available with the AT-At, Republic Gunship, and the Multi-Troop Transport).
All in all, very nicely done.
