She made the Kessel run in five Parsecs!
Star Wars mini vehicles allow users to create vast scenes from the movies without spending thousands of dollars. Each new model has at least one special piece so that you won't be able to duplicate it exactly by using other pieces in your collection.

The Millennium Falcon is pretty true to the original. The finished model is the size of the palm of a large hand. A good size for playing with.

The directions are standard Lego format and are easy to follow. The final construction is solid and believable. The set includes extra parts for making part of a Y-Wing (the rest of the parts are available with the AT-At, Republic Gunship, and the Multi-Troop Transport).

All in all, very nicely done.

"Do you hear me, baby? Hold together!"
A friend threw this and a mini At-AT Lego set at me as an early Christmas gift. After I gave 'em a quick glance, I turned to him and asked, "What d'ya think I am, a freakin' ten-year-old?"

He replied, "Perhaps not in the physical sense, but it's glaringly obvious you're not even up to that age mentally or emotionally."

"You know, you've got a point there", I grudgingly admitted.

So I went home, opened the sets up, and spent a good twenty minutes assembling both of them. Although I liked the AT-AT kit more, this one ain't half-bad. It shares a reasonable resemblance to the real deal, though not quite as close I would have preferred. One thing I found kinda weird was that it sported a detailed top radar-dish-shaped piece complete with "seams" and "exhaust ports", as well as "escape pod door" end caps on the sides (see Amazon's photo of the product to see what I'm talking about)-- yet the cockpit piece had no windows. It's also kinda weird that this vessel has two "cannon barrels" atop the aforementioned top radar-dish piece (those antenna-like bits), but none on the bottom piece. Guess I'll just hafta borrow a couple antennae from my mini AT-AT to give this little freighter-fighter the proper look...

But in spite of its shortcomings, I found the Lego Millenium Falcon mini set a decent addition to my ultra-geekin' stash of Star Wars collectibles. I'd recommend it to any Star Wars fanboy who's too lazy to build and detail a proper model, and/or is strapped for space in the basement dwelling he's fashioned under his parents' house. And you KNOW who you are...

      Dengar .
I would say he is one of the better Star Wars dolls. His face sculpt is good, and his costum is pretty top-notch. His costum is thick to make him look like the fat, and the body that Hasbro used is the basic G.I. Joe body.

      The Boxes That Bounties Breed
Dengar, best remembered for his stance with the other five members of the defunct bounty hunter's guild in The Empire Strikes Back, is back with a vengeance, looking his facially marred best when huddled together with members of his proud Han-hunting procession. The 12" figure isn't bad, either, with a few merits that are great and a couple of disappointing features to mingle in to the overall package.

First, I have to deal with the issue of packaging, one I'm not really happy with when I see any newly released "older" figures. Its not that I really worry about the boxes, per say, but I think that the setup does influences choices, and if I weren't a bounty hunter fan then I might have passed up this blandly boxed Empire recreation. Next, there's the issue of the head and the hands, both of which don't really seem go with the figure at first. In fact, when I glanced that plastic molded head staring out at me from an otherwise cloth-ridden body, I was saddened. I had wished for it to be wrapped and not simply fitted to a clothed body, but neither the hands or the head are like that. Still, I do have to say that the figure is really a nice addition to my collection, looking better out of the box than in it. Here you have nothing overly surprising, for he's your atypical new release 12' model; with snapped-on armor that you never want to attempt to liberate adjoined with white cloth underneath, plastic boots anchoring a body that sometimes likes to stand, a limited flexibility, and a nice replica weapon/backpack (a snap-on) thrown in for good measure. The coloration is done well, plus the costuming was more than I had hoped for.

Basically, I would say that this is a worthy buy because I'm a bounty hunter fan. Still, its something worth checking into even if you like simply like the movie, giving you something to fixate on freezing anyone you meet in carbonite with.

One of the greatest ships is back...
Darth Vader's TIE fighter is back and better than ever with this brand new OTC version of the ship. It comes with some more detailed paint applications in addition to all of the other great old features.

The ship has firing missiles (lasers) and is very durable. I've seen this fall without getting much damage. The cockpit opens and a Vader figure (included with the set!) can sit inside comfortably.

I recommend this ship to anyone who like Star Wars and does not yet have this toy yet. I also recommend that if you purchase this, you should also consider purchasing Luke's X-Wing to go along with it.

        Battlefield Star Wars
Four stars (or better) is actually what I'm hoping this game will get considering it hasn't come out yet. This game has the potential to be the best Star Wars game ever. That is, if you don't care too much about Jedi. Basically, this game is like Battlefield 1942 for the PC. You get to fight in all the great battles from all six movies. That's right, I said six movies. This means not only will you get to play as the rebels and the imperials, but you get to play as the republic and the sepratists too! The will also feature at least one planet from Episode III! There are a total of ten planets to battle on and sixteen different maps meaning that some planets will have more than one map. As a soldier for one of the four armies, you'll have five different types of soldiers to choose from. You'll have the regular infantry, the vehicle killers, the pilots, the snipers, and a special type. There should be a total of twenty different weapons. The planets I'm 100% sure will be featured are: Hoth, Tatoonie, Naboo, Endor, Yavin IV, Cloud City, Kamino, and Geonosis. The part I'm most excited about is not the battle on foot but the battle on vehicles. There will be about thirty different vehicles to take down enemies with. While you are on Hoth, you can get a buddy (AI or human player) and go lasso some AT-ATs. I can't wait for Star Wars Battlefront to come out.

        Star Wars BattleFront
All Right, I know that this game hasn't came out yet, but it should be good. Star Wars Battle is another World War 1 game with one thing different. Star Wars. Controll a character through different Star WArs environments. Including Hoth, Dagaba and Tatooen. I can't wait for this game to come out.

It's great but the only reason why i didn't rate it five stars is becaus it kept on breaking.it took me about 3-4 days to build it. it stressed me becuuse the bendy wires would keep popping out of land speeder, but other than that it's auwesome!

The fina element needed to complete tattoine from A New Hope
This is quite an impressive set from lego.I love how they put so much into detail. It comes with Luke Skywalker and Obi-wan Kenobi with Luke's Landspeeder and a secret compartment for Luke's lightsaber.Lego has already made the landspeeder, but this is the new version with different colors and is bigger. You also get a little cantina set with a table with a secret compartment and the new minifig Greedo.I like the cantina alot cause you can recreate the seen with Greedo and Han Solo.it also comes with a movable cantina bar and moving door that you can adjust however you like. The set also comes with a dewback and the new sandtrooper minifig. He comes whith a stick to guide the dewback and a backpack.Oh I almost forgot here is a little tip use the pieces from the cantina and a bigger base and make a bigger cantina.I hope this will help some people.

Bring home a piece of Empire Strikes Back Hoth battle.
This is a cool set to have if you have some other star wars sets. The best set to buy is AT-AT.So you can recreate the Hoth battle.Lego has already made an older version of this set but its hard to find.If you are buying this to play with then get it.I would have to say the Original version is better for collectibility.I have both and the old one falls apart easiely. This new set comes with a grappling hook and different colored pieces. It is also more like the ship from the movie.I reccomend this to any lego or star wars fan.

The Force is strong with Jedi Power Battles
JPB is THE best Star Wars game ever made. Closely resembling classics such as Streets of Rage or Fighting Force, JPB is an excellent game with great graphics and terrific sound. The control could be a bit better, though. The opening cinema is great. The choice of playable Jedi is a nice alternative to the strict character sets of TPM. Playing as Qui Gon Jinn, Obi-wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia, or Plo Koon, JPB finally offers freedom in the choice of character selection. The only fault in the game is the problematic jumping. Whatever you do, don't run and jump from a small platform. However, small faults aside, Jedi Power Battles is a fantastic game. You will enjoy it. May the Force be with you. (I'm a Star Wars geek)

The best Jedi Computer game to date!!!
Personally a fan of officially endorsed Star Wars games, I found Jedi Power Battles (JPB) to be the most satisfying and playable, especially for long-term enjoyment. The game closely follows the plot and action of Episode I, including 5 playable characters (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia and Plo Koon) from the film as well as cameo apearances from Jar-Jar Binks and Anakin Skywalker, let alone the two duels with Darth Maul. A must for any Star Wars fan, JPB offers hours of lightsaber action against enemies from the Star Wars world. The further you progress your chosen character in the game, the more abilities and combo moves you pick up. Each character has their own distinct style, force abilities and strengths, resulting in a game that is almost endlessly playable. Yet even with the game 'completed', there are opportunities to unlock secret characters and secret games which provide further intrigue and fun. Playable in both single and two player mode, JPB offers futher options of gameplay, the two player mode in this game being one of (if not the) best and most playable on the market.
Visually stunning, involving, and true to plot and character of Episode I, I found Jedi Power Battles far more playable than any of the Jedi Knight PC series, simply because of the 3rd person format and playablility of the characters: for any "Star Wars Saddos" who notice the combat manoevres in the film, the trademark moves of Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan are all faithfully reproduced and highly effective. So for anyone who wants highly involving, hard and fast action in the failing Old Republic, Jedi Power Battles provides all and more. A tried and tested master of this game, having played it fr nearly 2 years and done almost everything there is to do, my opinion is very simple - A total must.

Jedi Power Battles is cool!!! Danny(England)
Jedi Power Battles is the best star wars game I,ve played on Ps1 and beats the inferior Phantom Menace!!

Like most games it takes a bit of time to get used to the controls and can be frustrating when first playing it. But once you master the jumps and moves it becomes very enjoyable!!

The levels are very inventive and well thought out. After each level you get special combo moves, but it is optional wether you want to use them. The handling of the characters is good and the range of moves is also good. The people who are critizing it probably have not learnt to play it!!!

The graphics look a bit dated compared to the newer stuff, but it is a must for a starwars fan!!
The only critisim is the Plo Kloon character is too slow and is impossible to beat DarthMaul on level 10!! I have been playing this game on and off for a year and would recommend it!!!!!!!

              Star Wars Starfighter
              Made by Lucasarts Entertainment
Age Group: 13 years and up
                Amazon base price: $
                List price: $49.99 (that's NaN% off!)

Star Wars Starfighter is finally here, and, as expected, it serves up Wookiee-sized portions of action and adventure. Flying from either a first- or third-person perspective, players must fight their way through 14 sprawling missions that weave together the lives of three seemingly unrelated pilots. Set during the same time period as Star Wars: Episode I, the events in Starfighter parallel those of the movie, letting players participate in the conflict against the Trade Federation from a slightly skewed perspective.

Although the main missions can be completed in an afternoon, it can take weeks to earn the bronze, silver, and gold medals that unlock the game's bonuses. These include extra missions, a few two-player modes, and the ability to choose any ship for each mission (including Darth Maul's incredibly powerful Infiltrator).

Most of the missions are intense, involving efforts like racing through an enemy-infested canyon or defending a base against a ceaseless procession of droid air and ground forces. The game engine can throw an overwhelming number of 3-D objects on the screen at once--such as a mission where more than 50 hostile fighters swarm nearly a dozen large capital ships. The beauty of these large battles is mesmerizing, with lasers crisscrossing, massive explosions thundering all around, and constant radio chatter alerting players to new threats.

The controls for the various fighters and bombers are extremely basic, and combat is straightforward, but there is always so much going on at once that the game mechanics almost need to be simple. The only real drawbacks to the game are a few bugs that occasionally crop up and prevent us from completing missions, and the fact that planetary missions have a low "ceiling" that prevents us from climbing very high. Even with these faults, the game exceeded our expectations, and no arcade, action, or Star Wars fan with a PlayStation2 will want to miss it. --T. Byrl Baker

                Pros:

                • No Jar Jar
                • Stunning graphics
                • Exciting, massive missions

                Cons:

                • Some mission-stopping bugs
                • Simplistic combat will disappoint simulation fans looking for something along the lines of X-Wing Alliance
                Average review score:

                Magnificent...but repetitive
This game started off great! Graphics are magnificent, sound effects are astounding, beginning credits gave that real Star Wars movie feel...but after a while, things just seemed to get too repetitive. Basically, every mission is to destroy, destroy, destroy all enemy ships...a short movie scene...then destroy, destroy, destroy...I don't know...it just got tiring after a few hours. Controls are sort of difficult. I mean if this was "real life" flying a ship and targeting would probably be much more difficult; therefore, this game has certain degree of realism to it. Perhaps I'm not such a big fan of these types of games...it reminds me of that old game Descent where you simply blast everything in sight. If you're a fan of Descent and Star Wars, this game may be perfect for you and I'd definitely recommend it. But if you're expecting a sort of strategic, mystery, or puzzle type thing, this is not for you. This game is simply a flight simulator where you enhance your skills as a fighter pilot by thrusting and swooping in all directions and destroying enemy ships until the screen reads: Mission Complete.

This game just didn't hype me up to see what happens as I progressed every stage. After two hours of continuous blasting, it just got tiring and frustrating. By the way, this game will get you really dizzy because you are constantly in motion trying to target that one little ship after another. Overall, this game is not a bad game. I guarantee flight sim and Star Wars fans will love it. I blame myself for buying this game. I'm simply a Star Wars fan, and not a flight sim type of person.

                Star Wars Starfighter: My Review
I received this game as a gift for my birthday in November of 2001, along with METAL GEAR SOLID 2: SONS OF LIBERTY. I completed the first mission and quickly fell out of it. The game sat on my shelf, un-played, until November of 2003 - two full years later. The only reason that I picked it up again was so I could properly beat it and put it to bed once and for all. I had recently decided that I had to many incomplete games, and was refusing to purchase another until I had finished all of the ones that I had.

One thing is for sure, this game grew on me. I wasn't a fan of it in November of 2001, but I sure am now. Probably most comparable to STAR WARS: X-WING VS. TIE FIGHTER for the PC (which I love), this game features you piloting one of three characters on a variety of different missions on a variety of different worlds.

In game graphics are really good. Ships look very detailed and accurate to the specifications that the movies set forth. Controls are perfect - I've got no complaints.

While missions rarely are ever anything more than "Shoot a bunch of stationary objects while avoiding fire from various fighters", they always manage to be fun. They do, however, also manage to be frustrating at times. For one thing, you seem to be the only competent member of your squadron in the air at any given time. If you don't complete mission objectives, they won't get done. Asking for covering fire from teammates will help you very little, if at all. And despite always hearing your teammates cries for help, enemies tend to single you out pretty consistently and you are frequently bombarded by a large amount of laser fire, missiles, etc. This alone definitely hurts the final score.

Another thing that hurts the score is the length. While the game consists of fifteen missions, very few will take you more than one try to complete.

The story takes place around the events of STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE, and while it is better than the movie, it isn't anything to write home about. The introduction of the character works well enough (Character A's story will overlap with and serve as Character B's, effectively introducing the latter character), once it expands beyond that it tends to fall flat. Events come off as unmotivated, and above all confusing.

The presentation here is very high. From detailed level locations to John Williams' classic score, nothing here fails to impress.

All in all, I do believe that I should have given this game more of a chance two years ago. It was fun while it lasted (which wasn't very long), and it definitely made me want to go out and pick up STAR WARS: JEDI STARFIGHTER, which is something that I was totally against a few days prior to playing this game again.

                Lucas Arts Does It Again!!!!
This is one of several must buy games for the PS2. It delievers in all areas: Graphics, Sound, Control, and Gameplay. First off the Graphics recieve a 10 out of 10. I was breathless when I played the first mission. Everything is rendered beautifly. The fighters, terrian, and ships have amazing detail. The vsound is great recieving an 8 out of 10. Good sound effects and voices from your wingman are nicely done. The voice acting on some parts is pretty bad, combining dialoge that makes you wonder who wrote this. Controls on the other hand are fabulous. Recieving a 9 out of 10. A little confusing at first, but after you get the hang of them the fit this type of game perfectly. The overall Fun Factor(Gameplay) recieves a 10 out of 10. You won't be able to stop playing the missions until you un-lock everything. If you own a PS2 get this game. Even if you hate Star Wars, you won't regret getting this game. Sorry for any mis-spelled words.
