computer problems
One of the best racing gamesThere is a wide range of playable characters and pods available, and the choice of upgrading or buying parts for your vehicle. The speed of the racing is incredible; it's a white-knuckle ride across ice and desert and through caves and tunnels. None of the pods come equipped with weapons, but to be honest you just don't need them: the game in no way suffers from the lack of them and the racing is excellent by itself.
There are eight racing worlds and over twenty levels, each at different stages of difficulty. Each is beautifully designed and exciting to play, although later on in the game the tracks set in the same worlds may seem a little similar. The map of each track that appears at the top right of each screen can sometimes be hard to read as not enough of each track is shown and making out competing pods is difficult.
One great thing about the game is that it has great replay value. Even though it's pretty easy to beat, I've played it through several times now and still haven't got bored of it. Overall, four and a half stars. The graphics are excellent but the tracks can get a little repetitive. You don't have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy this game.
WOW!! THIS GAME ROX!!!!The Graphics are TOP NOTCH!! The compant, Lucasarts produces the best graphics in computer games. The game follows the story line of the movie well. Sure, the tracks are on differant planets than just Tatooine, but hey; It's fun! :) I love the game. And the characters from the movie, you can play all of them. The ONE thing that is not like the movie (BUT I'M GLAD IT IS ON THE GAME) is the "YOU GET A NEW PODRACER" feature when you crash...It's a life saver!!!
ALL AROUND, I GIVE THIS GAME A 2, maybe 3, thumbs up.

Gameplay emphasizes intense combat and physical action in the relentless pursuit of prey across six fantastic worlds and 18 levels. Jango Fett faces off against an onslaught of the worst scum in the universe, including crime lords, corrupt politicians, and enemies of various species. He is equipped with an arsenal of powerful weapons such as dual blaster pistols, a flamethrower, missiles, and a distinctive jet pack.

Bounty Hunter is for Star Wars fans only......The story is this: You play as Jango Fett, 20 or so years BEFORE the Clone Wars. The whole story sort of revolves around Count Dooku trying to get you to be the 'host' for a cloning project on Kamino. While the levels don't relate to this directly, they do involve going after an archenemy of yours named Montross. The story does show the evolution of Jango and Zam's partnership, and even shows how Jango gets the Slave 1! Basically you blast your way through level after level with an assortment of weapons ranging from blaster guns to flamethrowers. One cool addition is the jetpack which allows for increased movement throughout the level.
The game has nice menus and starts you off with a nice movie hat leads into the first level. The graphics are nice in the movie but look a little bit plain. The graphics in the game are pretty good though, although this varies from level to level. Sometimes the camera will shake around if you get into a REALLY tight corner. But other than that things look real for the most part.
The sound is great if nothing new; it consists of the same old blaster sounds from the Star Wars movies. But the voices are spectacular. Jango's voice has been recorded by actor Temuera Morrison himself, as well as the voice of Zam Wesell by none other than Leeanna Walsman. Although Count Dooku and Darth Sidious's voice leave something to be desired, the rest seem appropriate for their characters.
Throughout the game you basically just shoot at whatever shoots at you, and climb over, jetpack over, or jump over any obstacles that get in your way. Occasionally the game requires some thinking, but overall it is fun. And if you get bored completing the levels, you can go off in search of bounties. While sometimes fun, it is often very frustating. To find a bounty, you must scan them with your ID scanner. But this requires you to holster your weapons. So while aiming at a person with your scanner to see if they have a bounty on them, you can get shot. It becomes particularly frustating when your bounty is surrounded by thugs or when it is shooting at you. This is one of the major downsides of the game.
The other downside are the levels themselves. With only 3 levels on Coruscant and 3 levels on Tatooine, you wish there were more of them as they are classic Star Wars locations. The levels themselves are big, which is a good thing in the beginning, but really hurts replayability. The game gets VERY hard as you progress, and after spending 45 minutes on one level only to die with the end in sight, you don't even want to try it again. They also aren't designed with multiple passages and ledges, so you can't really explore all over the place.
Overall the game is an average game, but definitely not one of Lucasarts best. I don't see why they don't just make a third-person game based on the original Star Wars movies....
Undoubtly, The BEST GAME EVER!

Jedi knights two jedi outcast for gamecube good or badWell for the Xbox i'v heard it's pretty good but for the gamecube it's the worst. I'v seen some of the greatest star wars games ever but Lucasarts didn't try real hard on the gamecube. Their faces look blurry and it probably doesn't have nearly as many weapons lightsaber moves, and force powers as the Xbox has. It doesn't have anything near the graphics they could have made it have.
Voices and shound
I have to say that their voices are very good and sound like the actual people in the movie. Their sound is great but playing the game is horrible and it stinks.
Levels
Well as Kyle Katarn you go through i'm gonna say maybe a little over twenty levels plus a bonus level of boring combat. I mean it's too repetive. Before you have your lightsaber you shoot guys hit a switch shoot guys shoot more guys move around a bit and so on and so on. WHen your shooting a guy you really just stand in front of him and shoot theres no moving around except for when they run but then you can just shoot them in the back. WHen your fighting with a lightsaber you don't have any moves like in the movies or anything. GET THIS GAME ANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best game ever...Plus it's only $24!!!!!!!!!!!
THE BEST!!!!!!!!!PS: this game takes up 24 blocks for each game save you should get one or two 251 memory cards so you can save without trouble.

You control the Jedi leading the Republic's clone army, sometimes fighting as Anakin, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, or other familiar Jedi as the war takes you from planet to planet. As the leader, you may issue squad commands to teammates, allowing them to act independently and assist you in your mission. Your ships and weapons are varied, giving you the pleasure of piloting everything from zippy speeder bikes to the impressive Republic Gunship. Soar over ice fields and desertscapes, or maneuver through labyrinthine galactic scrap yards, leaving robotic wreckage behind as you blast through enemy ranks. And every so often you actually get to use your lightsaber as well.
The game is fun to play, the controls easy to master--but you wont find a lot new or challenging if youre an experienced gamer. Also, unlike its sibling, Bounty Hunter, the graphics leave a bit to be desired, but luckily this aspect of the game doesnt detract much from the gameplay. The pure pleasure in this game lies in becoming a part of the Star Wars universe. And, of course, blowing up robots. --Maile Bohlmann

Like Rogue Squadron on cheatsIf you've ever played any of the games in the Rogue Squadron series (and by extension Battle for Naboo and Starfighter) you'll know what to expect. However, whereas those games required a more thoughtful and tactical approach to each mission, Clone Wars puts the emphasis on all-out carnage. Mission objectives are really vague excuses for you to blast and blow up the hoardes of enemies the game tosses at you. There are missile and health refills aplenty, and the convoys you occasionally have to protect are in nowhere near the danger the ones in Rogue Squadron faced. I wouldn't say the game is easy, but it's not nerve-wracking either. It's like a cheat version of Rogue Squadron where you get to blow stuff up and go crazy without worrying too much about the consequences, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
The graphics are okay. Emphasis was placed on getting as many bad guys onscreen with a respectable framerate instead of making everything look pretty, and it was a smart decision. You'll be too busy staying alive to care that the visuals aren't as advanced as other titles. Sound and story, which LucasArts usually excels at, are disappointing here. The in-game sounds are great, but the cutscenes are compressed. The story itself isn't that great either, with bland voice-acting. I'd rather fight seperate, non-related missions than have them all link together with a convoluted story.
In the end, Clone Wars is a decent game to pick up and play for a few rounds of mayhem. It's not a standout game by any means, but it's a recommended purchase for Star Wars fans and anyone wanting mindless excitement.
This will be the Greatest Star Wars game of all time. That was the preview now for the review.
The game itself has pretty good graphics, on the vehicles especially. The storyline dates back to events before the Republic was formed. Although some of the character voices and designs could leave something to be desired, it could be worse. Although there could be some more missions and some better bosses (one in a Gunship for one) the levels are fun, especially when you're in a Gunship. Overall it's a five star game with some minor downsides.

You'll fly the new Jedi starfighter and get a look at characters and events from the film. The game contains single- and dual-player action in more than 20 story-based missions. Fly all missions cooperatively with a friend or in single-player mode in a variety of spacecraft. Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter features more than 40 new craft, including massive capital ships, three new flyable fighters, new enemy craft, and more.

Cloe but no CigarAs you startoff yo only have a small fleet, and a few planets that support you. But you can persuade planets to join your cause, build fleets, begin missions, and more. Though this game has controls that take some time to get used to, you will eventually you master them. One of the coolest things in the game is the fleet engagements. Though the ships may not look that good, the commands are effective. You can send task forces to engage specific things, you can command squadrons of fighters, and even set specific manuevering points and attack procedures.
The game also includes a long list of characters from the movies, like Han Solo, and newly created characters. You can check the character attributes to see if they're effective at diplomacy or combat.
The few cons in this game are is the lack of action. You usually will be ssitting watching at an unchanging screen for minutes or hours. There is also no strategic command for Assaulting planets. The game will only simulate the battle.
Lets see the pros and cons laid out once more.
PROS+
Great fleet battles
Long roster of characters
Need of Strategy
Cons-
Lack of action
No assault command
Some difficult controls
Though the lack of action may turn players away, this is still a fun game with a need of strategy.
Still outstanding after 5 yearsIf you are a fan of strategy games such as KOEI's 'Pacific Theater of Operations' series or MicroProse's 'Master of Orion 2,' you'll likely enjoy Rebellion. The game incorporates the standard resource gathering, exploration, fleet building, diplomacy, etc. and does it in high Star Wars style! You can micro-manage every facet of your infractructure or delegate as much or as little to your droid assistant as you wish. Fleet battles can be glossed over or you can take direct command. You can even choose how big to make the galaxy. The soundtrack is classic Williams, and is varied enough not to be repetitive or annoying.
I would rate the interface at intermediate complexity, and the game overall as mildly complex. As has been previously stated, you WILL need to read the manual, and I also recommend the strategy guide if you can get your meat-hooks on one. I suggest playing a 'small galaxy' game as the Rebel Alliance first, since the Rebels can re-locate their base. It's FUN to make the Imperials play a 'shell game' when they think they have you on the ropes. Once you've finished that first game, you will have the basics down and should be pretty well hooked.
You know you want to build a Death Star. Yes, you can watch it do the job in cinematic glory. Happy hunting!

Losing The Force???store shelves. It comes pretty darn close though. What is the best part of Star Wars Episode II Attack Of The Clones for Gameboy Adavance? The packaging! Thats right! The box that holds this poor excuse for a Star Wars title is it's greatest aspect. When one checks out screen shots from various internet sites & magazines that showcase this title, one tends to think this game will be simply fantastic.
Being the only video game title to all encompass such a great movie it should have been truly splendid. Unfortunately this game is far from fantastic and is nowhere near splendid. The cool graphics and soundtrack do not make up for the horrible gameplay or lack thereof. This is one of the most difficult video games to control. I spent forty-five mins on the first level at the lowest difficulty setting and found myself ready to toss my gameboy advance out the window.
Being Anakin Skywalker is fun, but not when the playability doesn't exist. If one does decide to purchase this game, get it as a collector's item. Not as entertainment. Some things are just better left in a galaxy far far away.
Okay.....The graphics are wonderful and really push the Gameboy Advance's capabilities to the max.
The gameplay is sloppy. In the side scrolling mode, the lightsaber button is A, but you have to hit a directional key also to use it.
The 3D mode is not what it seems. It's very hard and the objective is not very clear. The craft turns too slow and you can only see approaching objects from a few feet away, when it's too late.
The sound and music is great, but who cares?
If you get the game, you will enjoy it, but only if you use passcodes to play any level you want. That's what I did. I keep a checklist of all the levels I beat. It's alot more fun anyway.
You should get this game if you really like Star Wars. But not if you are not a fan of the films.
The review of this is nuetral, so you'll have to decide for yourself.

An excellent game with a few flawsTHE GOOD:
-I'll say the most important good thing about this game first - YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A STAR WARS FAN TO ENJOY THIS GAME!
-This game has more pilotable vehicles than the past two Rogue Squadron games COMBINED! If you want variety, you've got it.
-In addition to air vehicles, you'll also get to pilot Imperial walkers and swoop/speeder bikes, and even landspeeders!
-The graphics are stunning.
-There's a cooperative two-player mode featuring the missions from the previous game, as well as competitve two-player modes! And in these competitive modes, you can adjust a number of variables to customize your duels! For example, you can turn power-ups on or off, wingmen on or off, etc. And if you don't want your enemy to see what you're telling your wingmen to do, you can hook a Game Boy Advance up to the Gamecube, and use it to give them orders! That is, provided you have the GBA/GCN link cable.
-The game breaks the chain of "all missions are in craft", and has several "on-foot" portions of missions! This only adds to the variety.
-The game has two separate campaigns - one follows Luke Skywalker, the other follows Wedge Antilles.
-With a little work, you can unlock the ORIGINAL Star Wars video game!
-Star Wars games have been known for their "hit or miss" reputation, but I assure you, this one's a "hit"!
-It's not the expanded universe, it's the classic trilogy universe Star Wars fans know and love. That means no Jar Jar!
-A new type of Imperial craft makes its debut in this game - the TIE Hunter!
THE BAD:
-The missions, the Speeder Bike ones in particular, are HIGHLY UNFORGIVING. In many missions, if you make a single mistake, you lose. They should have left these Bike missions out of the game.
-Your objectives are often unclear. It's tough to tell exactly what you're supposed to be doing sometimes.
-There are a number of storyline/chronology errors. For example, many of these missions take place BEFORE Return Of The Jedi, but TIE Interceptors and A-Wings and B-Wings appear in these EARLIER missions! These ships didn't exist until the Battle Of Endor in the films. Likewise, in the Death Star Escape mission, Stormtroopers refer to Han and Luke as "Rebel scum", even though they hadn't joined the Rebel Alliance yet. It also seems highly unlikely that a Jedi Starfighter would remain on the surface of Geonosis for twenty years, let alone still work fine, and that its hyperdrive ring would survive in the asteroid field for the same amount of time (the reason I give this time is because I think they are implying that it is the one that Obi-Wan Kenobi landed on Geonosis in Episode II).
-YOU CAN'T ADJUST THE CAMERA IN THE "ON-FOOT" MISSIONS. This is the Achilles Heal of these parts of the game. If you remember right, a bad camera was the biggest flaw in Super Mario Sunshine as well.
-The control in the on-foot missions is very strange at first. Accordingly, I strongly suggest doing the Tatooine Training before playing the actual game. Personally, I would have liked it better if the game stuck to the "all air vehicles" formula of the last two.
-If you're using a cockpit view in a vehicle, you have to use the C-Stick to look around, whereas the "behind vehicle" view gives you a much wider viewing radius.
-You can't play the old Rogue Leader missions in single player, nor can you play the new missions in two player.
-The game features elements of the prequel trilogy (nothing major fortunately), and this is sure to turn off potential players.
-In the Multiplayer Deathmatch mode, there is always a targeting reticule around your foe. This makes it too damn easy to find whoever you're battling against!
-Multiplayer mode is two players only. You can't do four players.
OVERALL:
Rebel Strike is a fantastic game that lives up to the hype that has been created around it for so long now. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO ALL GAMECUBE OWNERS, STAR WARS FAN OR NOT! Sure, this game isn't perfect by any means, but this game is a very strong candidate for "best Gamecube game to date". Don't pass this buy if you own a Gamecube - you'll just be hurting yourself!
Wooo!!!The graphics of the game are spectacular and are every bit as good as the previous ones, if not better. From the ground missions on Hoth, to the bike missions in the forest, each level and character detail is well done. As an added bonus there are some great movie clips that come into play in different scenes of the level, usually before and after the mission is over. These videos are all good quality and really help put you into the game. Some people have complained about certain framerate issues, but they are not noticeable, especially in the fast paced sky missions.
The audio portion of the game really shines as well...all the Star Wars sounds are here, including movie based voice acting. There really isn't any music to speak of while you are playing the missions, but in menus and selection screens, some Star Wars music and classic Rogue Squadron game music plays. Sound effects are all great here...Tie Fighters exploding, lasers firing, voices coming in on the com-link...everything sounds great, so no problems here.
Now we get to the game play...now after the positive graphics and audio reviews, you would think there would be some game play problems as well. On the contrary, the game play is just as good as the others, but there are some problems...lets take a look inside. Levels are still mission based as always, and if you are defeated a number of times, or fail the mission, you lose. Now along with the classic sky based missions, there are now the addition of land based missions. If you have played the demo of Hoth, you probably know already. With that, there are 2 different campaigns...one following Luke, and the other following his buddy, Wedge Antilles.
Now with all the positives there are a few negatives, now while they aren't a big problem, they are a tad noticeable. One such being the camera...now while the camera isn't a major issue in the air missions due to the constant moving gameplay, the land missions are a tad affected by this. Main point being you can't control the camera in these missions which is a tad annoying...however the camera issue isn't as bad as in games like Super Mario Sunshine. The other problem I had was the bike missions. They are extremely difficult because basically one wrong mistake and you fail. I really think this is one mission that could have been removed from the game. Beyond this though, there are really no major problems, so you can look forward to nice graphics, great sound, and great gameplay. With all these positives, there is no mistake if I should be recommending the game or not. This is a great game, and now with the new low price it's a must buy!
It's Back! This new title features stunning, movie-like visuals over more than 13 action-packed missions. The battles themselves combine different forms of combat and play: a mission that starts high in the air over Yavin 4 can then turn into a ground-based gunfight with stormtroopers in the jungle, and then return to the air for twisting dogfight action. As with the previous chapters in the series, Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike has a story beneath the gameplay, driving the action and keeping it part of the Star Wars saga.
Among the vessels available for players are the X-wing, Millennium Falcon, Alliance snowspeeder, Imperial speeder bike and AT-ST walker. In character-based combat, players can carry out missions as Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles, or Han Solo. The vividly recreated locales include the forests of Endor, the frozen plains of Hoth, Bespin's Cloud City, and more.
Multiplayer modes encompass co-op endurance, capture-the-base, challenging dogfights and more. In addition, the entire Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader game is available for play in cooperative multiplayer mode. The game also features a comprehensive reward system allowing players to unlock numerous bonus features including extra missions, vehicles, and locations.

Good Game As A Rental - 10-year-old completed in 3 evenings
Could Have Been Better. The story is a bit far fetched, but this is the STAR WARS universe we're talking about; things get that way every once in awhile. The graphics are decent, but could have been better. Levels do tend to go from being easy to difficult to easy, but the easy levels give a person a break posed by the challenges in the previous and next level to come.
My favorite part of this game are the dual player games. My brother and I thoroughly enjoy those. We especially like the Genosis Academy. The best duo to have in that level is "Wookie" (type in NERFHERDER in the Options/Bonus menu) and Yoda (whom is opened after you beat 45 bonus missions). The double team of those two together is almost unstopable.
Overall, I found THE CLONE WARS to be a fun and exciting game. The graphics and story could have been better and some of the challenges aren't that difficult. Nevertheless, it is a fairly challenging game and has some great dual player options. Recommended for any beginning to average gamer and any STAR WARS fan.
