The Force is with this nicely detailed Luke figure.....
Luke Skywalker has had a very bad day on Hoth.

While on a routine mounted patrol on the surface of the ice world Hoth, the young Rebel Commander had spotted what looked like a meteor falling from the sky, but before he could investigate, the huge clawed paw of a hungry Wampa Ice Creature slammed him off his tauntaun and knocked him out. When Luke regained consciousness some time later, he was hanging upside down in the Wampa's cave-lair, fastened to the ceiling by solid ice. And on the snow-covered floor of the cave lay his only means of escape -- his father's lightsaber.....

I have 3 different figures depicting Luke in Hoth gear -- Kenner's original 1980s figure, the 1990s Hasbro Power of the Force Tauntaun with Luke Skywalker, and this one -- and I think they all have their virtues. True, the original could not hold a lightsaber, but he could ride the original Kenner tauntaun (it had an ingenious "trap door" saddle into which you inserted the figure's legs to simulate the character's being in a covered saddle without worrying about the poor articulation of the original 3.75 inch figure). The costume detailing was good for its time. The Luke in Hoth gear released with the 1990s tauntaun has better detailing in the face (for a figure that size, anyway) and can be posed more realistically as the articulation is specifically designed to "ride" the tauntaun.

This 2003/2004 Hasbro Star Wars action figure is nicely rendered; the Rebel-issue winter gear -- which includes a set of removable goggles -- looks good, and the "blood" on Luke's face (courtesy of the Wampa Ice Creature's claws) is a nice touch, especially for collectors who like to display their figures in action poses. As a matter of fact, the figure also comes with a lightsaber and a "cave base" that connects with the Wampa figure to recreate the suspenseful scene from The Empire Strikes Back where the Jedi-to-be escapes from the fearsome carnivore.

    old hoth luke is better
now i've heard a bunch of crap on the old hoth luke about its artciulation and a bunch of other crap well its not true the old luke was better because of its color scheme, durability and its detail so what if it can't have as good of a lightsaber fight this one face is so stupid with the scratches on it. if you want a good hoth luke go with the old one if you can find it this one isn't worth your money

    Best Buy
Ever since the terrible Hoth Luke was made in the 90's fans like me wanted a new Luke and now we got one of the best ones yet. The Likeness to the real character is excellent and all of it's features work great. Plus it connects to the Ultra Wampa to recreate that old seen in the ice cave on Hoth from The Empire Strikes Bacl

      Why don't they sell out?
Have you noticed when you go to a store that there are still Star Wars Episode II action figures still around? They are almost the worst pegwarmers (term means figures that don't get sold I've seen!!!That Mace Windu Arena Escape for instance. My Target still has dozens of him and I'm not kidding!People must hate him or something including me!(I bought the deluxe Mace Windu.)Darth and Luke dual figures can be found still everywhere!Almost TWO YEARS!THEY DON'T GO?Big Problem here.Lord of the Rings figures don't seem to have that problem. They sell out quick!(except maybe climbing Smeagol)So buy these old figures so we can be rid of them cluttering stores.Amazon at least has sold many of theres at least.Buy this guy today and lets clear the path for growth and freedom!!!!

      A fine sculpt
This is one of my favorite figures of my entire collection (I also like the other Neimoidians, Nute Gunray and Rune Haako). It comes with a Darth Sidious holo mini-figure, which is odd since Lott Dod was never seen talking to Sidious in the movie. His senatorial miter and a section of his robe can be removed. It is interesting to note that Lott Dod's name came from the last names of two U.S. senators.

      Ecclesiastical Neimoidian!
Glad to have the Bishop -- er, I mean, Senator finally represented in plastic. Like the other Neimoidian figures (Nute Gunray, Rune Haako) the playability is pretty much limited to "arms go up, arms go down" but this one comes with a Darth Sidious hologram (which makes more sense as an accessory for Nute & Rune) and his miter can be removed (so he can get through low doorways?). Great for the grownup collector/completist and any kid who likes to play "Senate Negotiations!" Not a lot of action, but a nice figure.

        rocks100
This is one of my favorite figures of all time . The figure is fluid mimicing movement the thin wings are perfect they look like there in mid flight .some of the other ep II figures are flimsy and to be displayed not played with or you need a degree and bubblegum just to keep them standing but watto is cool

        Not a very fun toy...
Basically this figure is a revamp of the Ep. 1 figure. The only differences being the pit droid hat and the different wings and a stand for him to be on. But other than that, this figure is only good for completist collectors (like myself) or kids who just want a watto figure if they missed the original.

        You're Getting Old, Man.
Watto isn't too bad of an action figure. The detail is rather extraordinary, especially in the figures face. However, the detail also makes his skin color somewhat out of sinc: the colors of his skin are right but they are extremely bright and do not appear to be very realistic. Also, the wings are kind of flimsy. Other than that, Watto is a fun addition to add to any Star Wars action figure collection. I especially like getting my Anakin figure out and having him talk down to and beat up Watto.

          The most updated lightsaber yet.
Me and my friends(We are teenagers 13-15)are always dueling and making up new moves for battling. This saber is a bit small, but it is meant to be. It has a beltclip, and I think they all should, and I also think they all should lock in when you pull the blade down. So this is the best updated saber yet.

Our Four Year Old is Thrilled!
When our son put in a request for a light saber, we were not sure which to purchase, so instead of deciding, we sent Grandma to decide. This light saber is pretty neat, making sound effects, which are enhanced by the movement of the saber. The volume is low, which is good for parents. The light is a little weak, and it is hard to tell it is lit if the room is too bright, but that does not bother our son much, the green plastic looks good enough without the light anyway. The saber does not retract all the way, and can be a bit difficult to expand. Overall, our son is quite satisfied, and the sounds make it more fun to him.

Star Wars Attack of the Clones: Geonosis Hangar Duel Anakin
HASBRO's ATTACK OF THE CLONES figures all have fine detail and action features. This Geonosis Hangar Duel Anakin doesn't really look like Hayden Christensen, but it's the best Anakin that HASBRO has done and it's definitely better than 'Anakin Outland Peasant Disguise'. The paint job looks nice and the joints are strong and well-molded. The 'action' feature is a wheel on his back that spins the lightsaber in his left hand when you turn it. The feature is a bit obtrusive though, and it's not really that great. His arm can detach to re-create Anakin's fight with Count Dooku, which is cool. Overall, a good toy and lots of fun for the younger fans.

No reviews found for this product.
            It's a decent toy.
This figure doesn't much look like Anakin in the movies, his blu lightsaber falls apart easily, and his arms swinging motion doesn't work very well. You can pull off his right forearm to reanact when Dooku cuts it off. I think this toy is the best Anakin figure, but not the best Star Wars figure.

            Star Wars Unleashed Figure: Chewbacca
            Made by Hasbro
              Amazon base price: $14.99
Chewbacca, one of the oldest and most beloved of all Star Wars characters is actually more complex than his seemingly limited vocabulary would indicate. He possesses a famously gentle disposition but also a bit of a short temper that boils over in a hurry when he gets messed with. In this extremely detailed figure, Chewie has definitely been messed with. With fur rippling he stands in a stationary pose, a determined and furious look stretched across his face, and a crossbow in his hand. This is not an action figure, Chewbacca is locked in the same position, but it's doubtful that any amount of adjusting would create a tableau more compelling than this one. A mossy green colored stand helps keep him in position. --Charlie Williams

              ROOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
This awesome "Unleashed" action figure of Chewie (Chewbacca) from Star Wars is awesome!
It catches Chewie's essence while he is in the middle of one of his classic howls, as he points his Bowcaster at the dark forces that are trying to take over the Universe.
Chewbacca has his hair blowing in the wind as he takes aim, as sculpted in this fun action figure.
I highly recommend it for any Star Wars fan.
I love looking at this action figure, because its Chewbacca, depicted in an action figure like never before!

Wookie with a bad hair day.
Chewbacca finally gets Unleashed, but it's not the best sculpt that Hasbro could have done to really do justice to everyone's favorite Wookie. The pose is slightly awkward and the display stand representing the green Endor forest tundra is fairly dull compared to others from this incredible Unleashed line. I would much rather have seen them include a display stand as exciting as the Millenium Falcon ramp that came with Han Solo Unleashed, or perhaps part of the Death Star Detention Block when the "captive" Chewbacca breaks out of his shackles and "unleashes" on the Imperial officers, or when Chewie "unleahes" his wrath on Lando for selling out Han and choking him to his knees. Even a Trash Compactor base would have been more exciting then this, but then again, the latest wave of Unleashed figures is not exactly the best they've done to date. I'm much more looking forward to the upcoming Bossk Unleashed wave, but for now, I'm just glad to see this big Walking Carpet finally get Unleashed.

Star Wars Unleashed Figure: Luke Skywalker X-Wing

                Best Luke Yet
Disregard other reviews that say this isn't the best Luke Unleashed. This Unleashed version of Luke captures the very essence of the Hoth snowspeeder/AT-AT battle, just before Luke ascends to slash the underbelly of the transport and toss in a grenade! The display stand is PERFECT. It is not "steps" from Echo Base, but rather the footprint of the AT-AT that has just stomped Luke's Snowspeeder. There is even a black cable from the speeder crushed into the snow beneath the footprint area. Excellent. The look on the face of the figure is great as you know what is about to happen next!! Any true SW fan will love this Unleashed Luke, especially if ESB is your favorite episode (as it is clearly the best!). Enjoy!

                Still scratching my head...
Being the completist that I am and a big fan of the Unleashed series, I was compelled to buy this figure though I would much rather have seen several other characters get "Unleashed" before getting another Luke Skywalker in his bright orange pilot gear. First of all, the Hoth display stand is just completely wrong. The carved ice steps and power cables suggest that Luke is standing in Echo Base. What they should have done was make the display base look like part of the twisted metal of Luke's crashed Snowspeeder with Luke preparing to fire his grappling gun against the oncoming AT-AT as depicted in Ralph McQuarrie's beautifully illustrated conceptual painting for The Empire Strikes Back. There's really not much to the sculpt that can been dramatically exaggerated here. Luke is poised with his lightsaber ignited. That's it. Not quite as exciting as the big lime green saber "swoosh" that came with the superb Unleashed Jedi Luke but then again I'm still wondering why Hasbro decided to release another Unleashed Luke figure already. Personally, I would have done Luke Bespin Duel with his torn jacket, sweaty hair and bludgeoned scratches as he fearlessly stands to face Vader in the Cloud City Gantry, but if they wanted to go with the Hoth theme, then why not have Luke in his Hoth gear as he prepares to "unleash" his lightsaber against the Wampa in his cave. If Hasbro's design team is running short of ideas, then I'd like a job please.

A toy you feel sorry for...
I was browsing the Star Wars toys looking for my usual buys of Boba Fetts and Bikerscouts when my eyes came to rest on the good captain. His face is one of a scared child. Not horrified mind you, just cought off guard like they want to say some thing but can't.
Feeling sorry for the toy that is apparently Fan Choice #5 I bought it.
Unfortunetly thigns didn't get any better as that day was the 4th of July and he met some fire workers. Let me tell you first hand "Rebels don't fly!" That being the case this toy can with stand being set on fire, dowsed with water, trampling by an adult male and still make it out with little to no damage. The damage mine recieved can be buffed out with sandpaper.
