My 6 year old daughter had a great time painting this umbrella.

Unfortunately the paint is the kind that stays just sticky enough even weeks later that if the umbrella is folded up for any length of time and then reopened the paint pulls off.

We eventually threw it away. A shame really but it just became a big mess.

My 8 year old was busy for 3 days with this fun rainy day project.

I bought 2 more! One for my 6 year olds birthday and her friend.

This can holds alot of crayons when the paint is gone.

My daughter and I bought this kit for our 5 year old to make as a gift.

It comes with everything that you need to make a plate mug or cup. You draw your picture on the paper, send it back in and they make a plate out of your art work!

Great for boys or girls!!

My grandaughter Dalisha got this as a gift from Toysrus.com/Amazon.com for Christmas and she loved it, her biggest problem was picking the colors and working on it without the help or input of her brothers.

I bought this kit for my 9 year old sister-in-law and she enjoyed painting the wooden models. There was plenty of paint and she mixed some of the colors (the instructions give good recommendations). She also painted the cards with the names of the horses she decided on. I was impressed with the instructions, horse facts, and helpful tips that came with the kit; the little wooden figurines are even hand carved. One of the horses she painted became a Christmas ornament (the string and magnets were a nice touch). Overall, it's a great kit.

I bought three of the Horses kits, they had a fabulous time and my husband and I enjoyed the night much better with them painting, creating and laughing away rather than watching TV or playing electronic games. My daughter was given another horse kit about 2 years ago and she still played with them pretty regularly and sit on her night table. They bring back memories.

For the above reasons, I am quite fond of the kit, I also love the fact that the horses are hand done from solid wood. I guess other cheap plastic horses will be more durable for my five year old son but i do not think paints can stick to plastic well and my daughter likes natural wood. For my 8 year old daughter, she plays with the horse but does not bang them on the floor so they are still as good as new after 2 years.

I have given the same kit to three of my daughter's friends birthday parties and two moms raved about it. I would like to see a large deluxe kit for craft party.

There are only three horses to paint. The paints seem nice and in good containers. My set came with only one brush! I am sure my three little girls will enjoy this toy very much. I went to a craft shop today and bought more wooden horses so they could paint to their hearts content. For the high price of the toy I was a little disappointed in the small number of wooden horses!

I recently bought an Aqua Doodle for my 2 year old nephew, and it was a huge hit! He was immediately drawn to the mat, and understood how to use the pens right away. The best part was that his 3 year old cousin was able to sit with him and they both had a blast. This is a great toy, because there is absolutely no mess.

I am a frequent buyer/reviewer for toys online and I am generally quite happy with them. This toy has a great concept, but I really wasn't thrilled with it. As the other reviewers have stated, it is a great toy...that is, until it's all wet. I found that the manufacturer SAYS, "image disappears in approx. 20 seconds.". This is where they are wrong. My kids LOVED playing with it, until they ran out of room to write stuff. It took so long to dry to become clear again, that I had to bring it in and put my hairdryer to it for an additional FIVE minute to dry it in order to continue using it. And this toy wasn't even drenched, just regular use. The idea of this toy is great, but has a big inconvenience. Maybe when it's a hot day it'll be better....I hope! I bought two, one for my daughter and one for my niece. I'm returning the unopened one.

This toy is awesome....Hats off to SpinMaster....I saw this toy online a month ago and went to Toys-R-Us to purchase it and they did not carry it yet...I was just there today and was so happy to see it on the shelf....My kids just opened it and they love it....They are 4 and 19 months old and this is something that they can play together and enjoy....My 4 year old loves to trace the alphabet...If anyone has preschool aged kids or younger this toy is a true winner!!!! Definitely worth the money....

I bought this last Christmas for my 7 year old daughter, who is horse-crazy and also likes to make things. The wood is so lightweight that you can make refrigerator magnets from the horses. She had a lot of fun making these and gave a couple of her creations as gifts. There are suggestions on how to paint them or the child can use their own ideas. I would buy similar kits again.

My daughter (5) got this for Christmas and liked it a lot. In fact, it was the first toy she played with. The horses were fine and there was plenty of paint, etc. Just don't expect that this is going to take a lot of time. Young children will probably slap some paint on the horses and that will be it.

I bought this for my daughter for christmas and we made it a family project, we each painted a butterfly and it was alot of fun, gave her a chance to use her imagination as to what she wanted HER butterfly to look like...She attached the magnets and we now have it displayed on our refridgerator. I would definately reccomend this for a child who loves to be creative.

AS AN ADMIRER OF BUTTERFLIES, I KNEW I HAD TO BUY THIS KIT FOR MY ALMOST 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. AND MY PLAN WORKED PERFECTLY!!! I NOW HAVE THREE BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY MAGNETS THAT I RECEIVED THIS PAST MOTHERS DAY ON THE FRONT OF THE REFRIGERATOR.

We recently did this paint your butterflies kit on a gloomy day. When we opened the box, I really did not expect to spend too much time to finish it but it was one of those projects that you can finish quickly or be really creative and have hours of fun. Everything you need is in the box, the main objects are 3 life-sized wood butterflies that look real, I was expecting those flat ones that you see in some craft stores but these are so nicely done that my 9 year old said she will keep forever. She was very proud of her creations, my husband and I each got the ornaments with gift cards and she kept one as a magnet for herself. She also learned about butterflies from the information included and the incredibly detailed identified box. We got 6 more kits for her cousins and they all loved it.

I purchased three "Paint the Wild: Puppies" kits for my daughters, ages 5, 8, and 10. They very much enjoyed the process of painting the puppies to match their favorite breeds, as well as some newly created breeds straight from their imagination.

The puppies are a lightweight wood (likely balsa or soft pine) and are durable enough to play with after the paint has dried. There's plenty of paint included to complete your masterpieces.

Satisfaction with this product has inspired my decision to purchase other "Paint the Wild" kits. The horses were also a big hit with my children.

This is a good choice to fill a rainy afternoon. Also is an excellent gift item.

Was disappointed that the puppies were basically chunks of wood faintly resembling dogs...thought they might have more detail or finishing. Would probably pass had I known....

The kit was great I thought it was soo much fun to paint the puppies different colors! This toy is really cool because you can hang your puppies,put magginets on them or just play with them! This toy is pretty durable but if you slammed it really hard on a hard floor it would probally break.If you like craft kits you should deffinatly get this one.

This seems like a lot of fun, but at the same time most people nowadays are looking for the new cool-looking Adidas or Nike. Plus it probably won't last very long because of the material.

Coming from a kid, I must say that this is a wonderful item to have. I got it for my birthday last year and I loved it. I played with all the time. I painted it my own way, and it tought me to be more creative. It looks still liked new, after a year of playing Traveling Soccer. I had my friends sign my soccer ball and now everyone wants to play with it! I love it and if your kid is sporty and has fun painting and stuff...getting this for your kid is a great idea. I loved getting this and so will you!
