There are many reasons to recommend this item. First of all, it is one of the few table/chair sets that comes with four chairs instead of just two. Also, the colorful animals on the chairs and table are more fun and interesting to kids than plain brown or white furniture. Our kids have a great time lining up the chairs to make a "choo choo train" when they are not using them at the table.
The manuafacturer recommends this for ages 3 and up, but we have found it is a good size even for 2 year olds.
The set is very sturdy and easy to assemble. The only problem I had was that some of the hardware had come loose in the packaging and was scattered through the box, and I had to come up with one extra screw that was not provided. So..
5 stars for fun - kids love it.

We just bought this table and chair set last week. Very durable and easy to put together. My daughter loves the different animals on the chairs and the table. For the money this was a steal. I would recommend this table and chairs for anyone who has children.

We just purchased this table and chairs and the matching toy box a few days ago and it is the cutest thing. Everything was wrapped nicely in the box and putting it together was very easy. It took about 45 minutes to put together, the chairs are what take some time and you use a wrench that is supplied with the set. This was purchased for our 4 yr old and 20 mo old. They were so excited while we were putting it together. They have tables and chairs in each their bedrooms that go with their decor but they were not this excited when we put them together! I think its the cute chairs that look like animals and they are brightly colored so it makes the set feel like a toy itself. The set seems to be made very sturdy and the wood is painted very nice. We are using this set downstairs and we have zebra decor in that room with alot of palm trees so this set fits right in with our room. In the past few days that we have had this set the kids have sat at it everyday! They love it and I'm sure your children will to, just make sure you get the matching toy box which is adorable too!

This was the best the things are all magnets and their are little marbles as joint all the things stick together and dont slide around i think that if u were to buy something that this would be the best thing to buy i give it five stars because it is something that u can make many different things and u wont get bored from it i spent hours making cool designs.

I first got hooked on the commercial for Super Mag which is another brand similar to Magnetixs. I got stuck on the catchy tune from the Super Mag commercial and over the 4th of July weekend I was playing Legos with my neice and when I was a kid I found Legos a lot of fun but now that I'm older they weren't as much of a thrill. I saw a box of the 35 piece Magnetixs on Sale at a local store so I decided to try them out. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't able to make a bunch of things but the box claims you can make 100 designs. The next day I went out and bought two 70 piece boxs of Magnetixs and it's still not enough to make anything cool. But like the previous review writers it does make time fly so fast. I probably spent about 3-4 hrs. sticking and clicking pieces together. In my opinion they should give you more rods and less metal balls bcuz I run out of the sticks more than I do with the metals ball or better yet create a box with like 300 pieces or something. The price is a little high for these 20-35-70 piece boxes if you ask me but in a way it's sort of worth it even though you don't have too many pieces to play with.

i have been playing with this toy for a week now and havent put it down. I feel that this toy is very educational because you can make many science shapes out of it and also it helps with the creative mind. i think that the price is quite high and they need to put more parts into a box like 100 or 200 i feel that there are not many parts because on the box it shows a very tall building but i carnt make that because i have to little parts. Also i think it would be a good idea to show how to make all of the 500 shapes it says on the box. There is another toy that is good that is k'nex that is a creative game but i still think magnetix is better. And another suggestion is that they they could put some extra parts in like wheels and different joints.

We bought this a couple of weeks ago from the store. This was the last piece in the store and I was promised that it was unopened, when I thought maybe it was returned. Anyway...we bought it. My husband struggled to put it together for 2 hours, only to find out that there was a missing screw! It is not easy to find in a hardware store. So we are gonna return it today! I gave 3 stars 'cause it is very cute.
I agree that if it can be put together by the store pick that option!

We purchased this toy box and the matching table and chairs 2 days ago for our 4 yr old and our 20 month old and they just love it. Our younger one points to the animals and we tell him what kind of animal it is and he is all smiles. The toy box is made very well and has hinges that close slowly. Its very bright in color and seems to hold a pretty good amount of small toys. My husband put this together in 30 minutes with no problems at all, it was very easy and all the pieces fit together perfect. Because of the design this toy box can be for a boy or girl. Hope this helps and hope your little ones enjoy their new toy box like ours are.

This toy box is SO CUTE. But however, it took 4 hours to put together and 3 people trying to figure it out. Some of the holes dont match up, its extremly heavy, and the directions, well they dont help. This item is great if you have the time to put it together. I recommend this toy box for its looks and the toy space, but thats it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that it be put together by the store, if that option is available.

I bought this craft kit elsewhere for more, and I still thought it was worth every penny. From the tatoos, to the coloring pages, to the stickers the kids can color themselves...it was a blast. And as fun as the markers are to smell, they aren't so fun to get off your table (our's will be green forever, I fear). All in all, a great purchase for any crafty kid. (and that tatoos have enough of pupcake and clouds and such, that my younger son could enjoy the fun too)

Lots of fun for all, not too messy, great rainy day project, and no hot stove needed! They even taste pretty good, although the texture is a little like a kitchen sponge.

My kindergartener and her best friend love this set. We "bake" something just about every week. However, we have learned a couple of things about the sets: first, if you are using this kit in a dry environment, keep mixing the batter until you are ready to pour it into the pans; otherwise it will set prematurely and not pour well. Second, if you use it in a humid environment, it will not ever set correctly. Third, one of the sets recommended leaving the cake in the pan to set for 3 hours (not a good idea for impatient kindergarteners), but if you place it in the refrigerator, it will cut down on the time (we left ours in for about 20 minutes and it came out of the mold fine).

I have not been brave enough to eat any of the cakes, although the frosting (which I am sure is all sugar) was tasty. My daughter did make brownies for several of the teachers at our school and no one mentioned them tasting awful, and they all seem to have survived the experience!

All in all, this is a cute set and since it is easy for little ones, I highly recommend it!

My 5 year old and her 4 year old friend had a blast with this kit. They could share and do this together. I do think it was easier to do with my own frosting, but overall this kept them busy for a good hour or two. Tasted kind of good also.

I bought this for my 4 1/2 son for christmas. I tried it once and it broke and couldn't get the mold to work. I don't recommend it.

This toy was hard to get together. You couldn't tell when the mold was full. There was no timer, so it made it hard to know when to pour the molding sticks. Very poorly done.

When my son saw this on TV it looked pretty impressive. Unfortunately, the car factory is a DISASTER! The first car was a success - no mess, easy clean-up. The problem is, the first car color is still in the glue-gun portion of the machine and upon insertion of the next color, you will have a psychedelic looking car. Cool - if that's what you wanted, but not cool when you want solid colors! You have to "trick" the machine into oozing out the rest of the color from the previous car.

Then there's the fun part of the color stick oozing out all over the place, sending scalding hot stickiness from the top of the glue machine like some wild volcano. Lo and behold, if you don't clean up the glue before it solidifies, (yes, ouch!) you jam up the machine and you'll be picking at it for hours. The "oozing" problem obviously means something is blocking the entrance to the mold at the bottom of the glue gun... but when you can't see anything blocking it, why then, does it continue to malfunction????

Long story short, it made 4 nice cars and one HUGE disappointing mess. We wasted 3 of the 8 sticks, used 3 successfully and now my son has 2 "drum sticks" to fool with!

I successfully contacted RoseArt about this problem and they offered a $9.99 plus shipping refund. At least there is some recourse.

Don't waste your money on this sad thing. It broke the first day so I couldn't even put it back together, I just threw it in the trash.

This is a great toy for kids like me who dream of becoming an artist when they grow up. This is a great toy because I learned how to mix colors and I learned the primary colors,secondary colors,tints,& shades. My friends are all asking for this for Christmas. My sister is always begging me to let her use it. I reccomend this for a Christmas gift. It brought my art grade up fom a B to a A+. This is fun because you learn and have fun at the same time.

This toy is a good concept, however,it falls apart constantly, making the toy utterly useless. I DO NOT recommend to anyone

Packaging looks nice but after opening, the "laptop" part gets set aside and never looked at again, you are better off opting to buy markers, paper, etc separately - much better value. Don't waste your money on this one.

I agree with the the other reviews. We were so disappointed with the extruder. The playdough was rock hard and we already threw it in the trash. Don't waste your money.

If I could give this item 0 stars I would. This is a total waste of money. I purchased it as a gift and my grandaughter was so disappointed that I went out and purchased her another gift. The opening for extruder is so small that she didn't want to play with it. In fact she put some dough in it, was trying to take it out and her finger got stuck in the opening. She's only 4, that should give an idea of how small the opening is. The molding tray is flimsy. The dough was dry and it took my daughter two hours to make it moist enough to play with. Please do not waste your money. I don't normally write reviews for items. But, this item is so bad, that I felt that I should warn others who may consider purchasing it.

Stick to Play Dough!! Yes this is a cute idea, and my daugher was so excited to get this set. However, after about 10 minutes it is now in the trash. The dough was very nice girly colors and they are scented, but they are almost to hard to mold. They didn't stick together very well either, so that was no fun. The strawberry house is cute if only kids were strong enough to push the dough through. The molds that are included are also cute, but tiny, so little fingers end up tearing the completed mold up trying to get it out, which really frustrates young kids. This set just needs some major improving.
