Fun for baby but not at the age reccomended
I bought this for my 3 1/2 month old daughter about a month ago and she still isnt very interested in them.

I love that they have different colors and textures for her to explore as well as being able to stack them. But she could care less, she loves things with lights and music.

The age on the box says that its from one month and up but I really dont imagine a younger baby really playing with these. Im sure she will enjoy them as she gets older thats why I gave it a good rating. But their just waiting for her now.

      Daughter can't get enough
My daughter received this toy from her grandmother when she was about 17 months old and has not stopped playing with it. She loves to feed the baby her bottle and rocks the baby to sleep. She loves to play with the blanket too. It is nice because the bassinet comes off the rocker and your child can use the handles and walk around with it. My friends kids have come over to play and love this doll too. I highly recommend it.

        Adorable Doll
My three year old received this doll for Christmas and she loves it. She especially loves to put her in the backpack and take her around the house or in the car. The only thing is the bottle that comes with the doll does not fit in the doll's mouth. There is a hole in the doll's mouth for the bottle but the nipple is just too big. We went back to the store and purchased a two-pack bottle set from You and Me baby and even though the nipples are smaller they do not fit the baby's mouth either. Also, my daughter pressed the bottle into the baby's mouth trying to get it to go in and the paint on the doll's mouth flaked off. I think if you know these things going in you will save some minor dissapointment. Otherwise it is really a sweet doll.

          Great Toy
This was given to my daughter as a gift when she was 2mths old, and she loves it! It is really easy for her to activate, and it's an instant cry-stopper. However, I do agree with the other parents where it doesn't play the songs long enough. Right now her batteries are low and it sounds pretty creepy. You've got to keep batteries at hand with this toy.

          Love it
We brought this for our daughter who isn't even a month old yet and she loves it. If she gets fussy all we have to do is squeeze it and her eyes widen and she just watches it. The only bad thing is that it doesn't play the songs for very long before it shuts off and you have to squeeze it again.

          Gloworm The Night Time Friend
I just wanted to let everyone know how our grandaughter loves Gloworm. She was about 8 months old when we bought her this Gloworm which she calls it Glowy. Glowy was her sleeping partner until she got to sleep and then someone would remove it and place on the floor. She often asked for it in the morning. We also live about 5 hours apart and it was used in the car when traveling back and forth. I give glowy a 5 star since it was such a help on teaching her to go to bed by herself and was a good friend for our traveling grandaughter.

          Busy Bug Stroller Bar
          Made by Sassy
          Age Group: 6 months - 2 years
            Amazon base price: $
The Busy Bug Stroller bar is a portable stroller bar and activity center for the baby on the move. The colorful soft cloth main bar is 15 inches long by 2 inches in diameter; Velcro bands allow for easy positioning in front of your baby on almost any stroller, swing, or infant seat. There are five activities, including a twirling bug, a bumblebee atop a twisty plastic stalk, and a crunchy-sounding cloth butterfly. The most distracting feature might be the removable, dishwasher-safe snack cup in the center, which has a flip-up, bug-decorated lid for hiding (or revealing) snacks. --Richard Farr

            Doesn't fit stroller trays
I could not use this toy with my son's stroller because it would not attach properly to the tray. The only way I could get it to fit made the toy fall forward and he couldn't play with it. I would not recommend this toy with the Graco strollers that have a tray. It will not fit!

Great if it would stay upright
I have tried this stroller bar on several different strollers and have had limited success. On the umbrella stroller it was so close to my son's face it kept hitting him in the nose. On my travel system, the straps barely fit around the child tray, and the bar kept falling forward so my son couldn't get to the toys. He loves it anyway, I just wish there was a way to attach it so it would stay put!

            Cute but...
Though this bar is absolutely too cute for words, if you have a Graco Travel System don't buy it. My son loves to play with it but we could not attach the bar to his stroller. My husband actually cut two slits (discretely) in the food tray in order for the velcro to slide through. It does now but because the tray is a little high I am always afraid that the butterfly will poke his eye out so I don't let him play with it alone. If it was a little lower he would be able to play with it in his lap so to speak. The little snack bowl is interesting and a nice idea but the lid keeps falling down on his little fingers and he keeps throwing the detachable bowl everywhere. Ive never put food in it because of this and taped it shut. Overall it is a beautiful toy, full of bright colours and things to play with and to keep his attention but my main complaint is the fact that it could not be attached to the stroller.

Looks Neat But Darn The Door!
I picked this out for my daughter for her first birthday. She loves the music button and pushes it over and over and over again and does her little baby dance to it. But the door does constantly fall off! She plays w/the door more than the shapes themselves. Also, I think this toy is more appropriate word wise for a 2 year old or even older. The song is really long and what one year old knows that baked goods rise in the oven? Nice idea for a toy but a little over the top. The music itself is great though.

              excellent!!!!
I understand the annoyance with the door, my son took it off the day we opened it. But who cares? It's meant to teach shapes! We already know our kids can open and close doors. I love this toy because it is a BASIC shape sorter. It says the shape as it goes through. It is GREAT!! My son loves it. Now I just have to find the door.:)

              Not what I expected
I bought this for my daughter for her 1st birthday in October. She loved playing with the shapes that came with the sorter but was never really interested in putting the shapes through the sorter. When you do put the shapes through the sorter the sorter tells you what shape you baked, what color you baked, or what food item the shape was. There was really no music that played or anything like that to keep my child interested in putting the shapes through the holes. My biggest complaint is that the door on the front of the toy keeps coming off. I know that it is a safety feature but as soon as you put the door back on and open it, it comes off again. I was really disappointed in this product since it came from LeapFrog.

1st Starts - Step Start Walk n' Ride
              Made by Playskool

                List price: $24.99 (that's NaN% off!)
When little wobblers are bored with walls and sofa edges, and there's no one to offer a hand, they can two-foot it safely across that open ocean of living-room floor with the help of the Step Start walker. This dual-purpose toy acts as stable support as they learn to walk, then lets them roll along when they want to ride. Once they are secure on their legs, the walker converts easily to a first ride-on toy. (Only adults can operate the wheel-lock mechanism.) A flexible antenna, spinning drum, clicking gear, and other sight-touch-sound features provide sit-down play fun. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver. --Ava Natov

                glots of fun
this toy was one of the best things we bought our son for his 1st birthday. he loves it and so dose his little friends. It even was interesting to my 4 year old brother. so I know we will get our monies worth out of it.

Good Idea, Not A Good Toy
We were very excited to receive the Playskool Walk n' Ride as a gift for our (at the time) 11 month old dd. She wasn't quite walking yet and couldn't wait for her to be able to use the Walk n' Ride to keep her on her feet.

We did not find it that difficult to put together, however it did take some time (I might suggest putting together before actually giving it as a gift to child) - dd was uninterested by the time we finished putting it together.

Our daughter was able to push toy without the problem that some other reviewers listed as "not enough room for the feet". She did however have some difficulty turning the toy in a different direction. Because it was so heavy, she had to use all her might to turn sideways. And do to it's bulkiness, we found that she could only play with it in large open areas. Since she was a winter baby, this meant moving the kitchen table to the side of the dining room, just so she could play.

As she progressed we thought maybe we'll give the "ride" part a try. I was equally disappointed with this feature. Due to the "bulkiness" of the toy she had a difficult time swinging her little legs over the toy to get on and off. Also when she sat on it correctly the handle was so close to her chest it really didn't look comfortable and didn't allow for her to get much leverage to push the toy forward.

On a positive note, some of the sight-touch-sound features (such as the flexible antenna, spinning drum, clicking gear) did provide some pleasure for dd. Also, the toy seem to be sturdy enough that dd very seldom tipped it over.

All-in-all I would save your money on this one.

                Great purchase!
We bought this for our daughter for Christmas when she was 9 months old. When she first got it, she preferred to play mechanic(flipping it over and playing with the wheels and underside)and she also liked to play with the toys on the top. So far, we have not had any trouble with the attachments. Now that she is learning how to walk, she loves to use the toy in the walker mode and strolls around our living room. We have found that when she does hit an obstacle, the toy has held up well and is very sturdy. In the car mode, she loves to have us push her around. She can push herself backwards, but she has not gotten the going forward part down yet. When she wants to get off of the car, we have found that it is low enough to the ground that she has not hurt herself. Overall, we have felt that this was a great purchase and plan to pass it down to the next one!

                  WARNING....DO NOT BUY!!!
                  WARNING....the spinning barrell hurts!!!
Do not buy this toy....my daughter and many other children that I have since researched and discovered has smashed her fingers and hands in the rolling barrell. I have called Fisher Price to report this and am getting a refund. I think I will purchase the hipo instead...I have not heard anything bad safty-wise about this toy.
DO NOT BUY this toy...it hurts your child!!!!

                  WARNING....SMASHED HAND!
                  WARNING...FINGERS SMUSHED>>>HAND SLAMMED!
My daughter received this as a gift and absolutely loves it...the music, lights, etc. She has almost every peek-a-block made and loves them dearly. This toy, however, must have a warning on it...or be fixed....(definitely needs some quirks fixed!!!!!) The rolling barrel that you place the blocks in to be loaded into the holding space almost ALWAYS slams her fingers! She'll be having a great time, spinning the barrel then all of a sudden bursts into tears because it catches her little hand and slams it! I am seriously thinking about sending the toy back for a refund. I hate to do this since she really loves it otherwise, but I always have to keep something in the barrel to keep it from spinning...which prevents her from playing with it and makes it harder for her to smash her hand. It's almost not worth having the toy at all. SO...WARNING....it can HURT your child's hands!!!! I just spoke with FisherPrice today and will be sending the toy back for a refund...I think I will get her the hipo instead. They must know of this defect, because they were quick to offer the refund!!

                  Lots of use!
I bought the touch sensation blocks first then the wagon for my son who was 7-8 months old. He liked the textures of the blocks from the first set. The blocks with the wagon aren't very interesting. He's since gotten the sound and sight sensation blocks. The first thing that he did with the wagon was lift and then close the yellow lid that starts and stops the music @ 30-50 times, each time he was near it! He loves to hear the music, even now. The yellow cover with the square hole in it has been yanked off, since day one and every time it's put back on. It now stays off. The heavier blocks work better to turn the wheel independently. He's now 1 yr and plays with it, daily, in numerous ways. He'll fill the bottom with blocks and sit in it; try to put other things in the wheel, and throw all the blocks out then put back in. Now that he's learning to walk he will try to pull around, little too heavy for him, right now, but pushing it works! Haven't had one pinched finger. Would highly recommend.

                    Too Loud; Dangerous Mechanism
When my son was too small to sit up, he loved sitting under this activity center and kicking it. The lights and moving parts excited him very much. Now that he sits up he puts his hands on the middle piece, which mechanically rotates, giving of a loud grinding noise and possibly pinching his fingers. He cries every time. I have to keep it turned off now. It's not quite as entertaining for him, but I think that, while turned on, the middle piece is possibly dangerous now that he explores everything with his hands. It's a very lightweight toy, and he moved it around a lot by kicking it when he played with it on his back, so I put it against a wall to keep it from moving around. It's also very loud when it is on, and I put tape over the speaker to mute it a litte, because you cannot control the volume. I think this toy is great when babies are younger; it has really neat responsive features. Music plays when baby kicks it, moves it, or squeals. It is not a great toy when they are using it in the sitting position. If you can't use it turned on, then half of its entertainment value is wasted. There are activity centers available that are similar to this one, without moving mechanisms, and I would recommend one of those over this toy.

                    Okay, until....
When I saw this toy, I got excited because at the time my son was 4 months old and kicking. I figured he would have fun kicking the bottom part and seeing the lights and hearing the music. Which he did! But the problem came when he learned to sit and could play with the driving portion to the toy. That's where the problem began. There is an opening where tiny fingers get stuck. His fingers would get stuck touching the spinning piece at the top and would make this loud sound because it was jammed and was still trying to spin and play music at the same time. Needless to say the next time I put him in front of the toy, he was not happy and begun to cry after getting his fingers stuck AGAIN. We haven't used it since. Although he didn't hurt his fingers, I believe the noise frightened him.

My son loves this toy!! STILL!!
My son has had this toy since he was born. At first he was startled by the music and lights, but he quickly took to it. He kicks alot so he has had alot of fun with it. It ahould be heavier at the base so that it doesn't scoot away from them when they kick it. You can put it against something to stop this. The spinning thing makes a horrible noise if you grab it when its spinning, so I'm not to sure how he'll like that when he gets to be a toddler. Although, my friends' 18 month old son found this to be his favorite part, so you never know. My son is almost 6 months old and he has not tired of this toy. He tries to steer the wheel with his feet. And often he will scoot himself over and play with it backwards, but as long as he's having a good time thats all that matters. It will definitely keep him occupied for at least 30 minutes, which is a lifesaver. Its definitely worth it.

                    Leapstart Learning Gym
                    Made by LeapFrog
                    Age Group: 3 months - 2 years
                      Amazon base price: $
This interactive learning toy will grow along with your infant. There are two modes: one for infants and "lie-down" play and the other for older babies and "sitting-up" play. Lie-down play consists of a musical mode and a learning mode. In learning mode your baby can listen to the "Hello World Song" sung in five languages while watching the bright primary colors of the motorized mobile whirling away. In music mode your baby will hear over 10 minutes of music from around the world. For sitting-up play, detach the mobile and your child will be ready for some of the following hands-on learning activities: spin the world ball to hear "hello" in five languages, play peek-a-boo with the mirror, spin the animal roller to hear animal names, colors, and counting. These same buttons will play songs in the music mode, the most impressive of which was the world vocal chorus we heard when we opened the mirror. Thoughtful and engaging, this toy should hold your child's interest for a long time. Requires four "AA" batteries (not included). --Megan Sullivan

                      Not for Newborns
My daughter is two months old and we have been using this gym for a couple of weeks. She is entertained for 10-15 minutes at a time by listening to the music and watching the lights. My husband discovered that if she is in her bouncer, the lights are at a good height for her. I do not think that she would see them laying on the floor. She is not old enough nor is she interested in the options on the gym. I do not think that this is for newborns.

If you have the time-its a great product for small babies
I have 4 month old triplets and I bought this when they were 2 months old. They love it-now. 2 months is really too early for babies to enjoy much of anything, but now that they are more alert they laugh and kick their legs in delight with this toy. Someone in another review mentioned that their child can't play alone with this toy and it does not provide self learning. Yes, you do have to get on the floor and work the buttons for them..but who would leave a child unsupervised at this age anyway. When they are older, they will certainly be able to handle the buttons themselves. They will also be so familliar with the toy, that they won't need my help to play with it. I love this toy. I am glad I invested in something entertaining and educational for my children.

                      My baby LOVES this!
This learning gym is awesome! I love that it's versatile enough so my baby can use it now, at 3 months, and continue to use it as he grows and learns to sit up. My son is a cranky baby because he has acid reflux and this is one of the few "toys" he has that he thoroughly enjoys!! He spends lots of time on the floor kicking his legs and arms about, chatting and smiling away at the blinking lights. He loves the music and really enjoys watching the spinning globe. I've read reviews of this toy with parents complaining that it's no good for an infant because they can't reach the buttons and such, but if you just invest the time in your child and help them play with it (spin the globe for them, push the buttons, etc) you will see their little faces light up with pure joy. I highly recommend this product!!!
