    LOVE THIS TOY!!!! HELPFUL HINTS.........
My 9 month old loves when I play peek-a-boy with her using this toy. We've had it for months and she has still not gotten tired of it. I cannot say enough about how cute it is!!! HINT: I have learned that it helps to rest your puppet arm and the cube on a surface while you are using it, then use your free hand to hold onto the back of the cube. This gives you good leverage to make the monkey, orange or banana come out of any of the 4 openings easily (suprise!) and pop right back inside. The child can't wait to see what comes out next!!!! So glad I bought this toy for good together time.

    Cute but...
It's a cute toy, but NOT worth the money. It takes some practice to work it. It's not really a toy for the Dads to use, their hands probably wouldn't fit (my husband's doesn't and he is average size).

    Tiny Love 1-2-3 Discovery Lane
    Made by Tiny Love
    Age Group: 3 months - 2 years
      Amazon base price: $42.99
Hours of sensory stimulation await the infant who encounters this award-winning play system from Tiny Love. Packed in a large see-through bag (complete with a sturdy plastic handle), the set features four padded, 2-foot-long fabric panels. Each exceptionally well-sewn panel contains its own set of exploratory activities and fun toys to squeeze, hug, or roll: a squishable water mat filled with plastic fish, a child-safe mirror inside a sun's crinkly rays, and Velcro-backed pieces to manipulate. Link the panels in various ways by using the secure Velcro straps on each end, or attach a single panel to your baby's crib or playpen. Remove the water mat, mirror, and animal face pillow for easy cleaning or to create different sights for your baby. Track your baby's developmental achievements with the detailed milestones guide that is included in the set. --Liane Thomas

      very disappointed
Santa brought this for my 8 month old son and by the time Christmas morning arrived the puppy no longer made a barking sound. Within 2 weeks the water-filled pouch had sprung a leak. My son enjoys the mirror and the velcro toys but it was definitely not worth the money that Santa spent. Please save your money!

      this toy fizzled and leaked!
we received this as a gift. it appeared to be a wonderful toy, with lots of different parts, although it took up a lot of space.. well, our 6 month old - 1 year old daughter was never interested in playing with it, except that occasionally she would put the velcro shapes in her mouth. soon after, the water capsule which holds the plastic fish began leaking. i would never recommend or buy this toy for anyone.

Its nice, but not that nice!
I bought this for my son off of ebay, because I just couldn't see paying that much for it and I'm glad I did. He liked the mirror and the animals the most. When the "fish tank" was filled with water he liked how it felt, but it quickly sprang a leak. If you could velcro it to the floor, it might be better. As soon as he got to be about 3 months he would pick it up and get tangled in it. If you just give your child one part to play with at a time, it'll save you some worry. Its a nice idea, but as far as it growing with your child like they imply...I don't think so. We got more use and more fun out of his activity gym by Kids II, which I did spend the money on and IT WAS WORTH IT. Unless you've just got to have this for your child, I wouldn't recommend it.

        Great Fun, Terrible Quality
My 13 month old son used to be a fish in his previous life and hence has a natural affinity for water. When we bought this toy, the first one had a leak so I had it exchanged for another one which worked great for all of 15 minutes before it self destructed (developed a 1-1/2 inch hole along one of the seals). mercifully it did not explode but deflated in seconds.

The fault could be partly mine because I was pushing it through water. I think if you just let the baby sit in it in water without horsing around at all, it may hold but that wouldn't be fun. If you want to use it actively in water, look for something else.

I would recommend that if you decide to buy it anyway, buy it from your local store which has it for the exact same price of about $15 so that you may return/exchange it easily.

        Nice Toy
I have used this float toy several times with my 17 month old daughter. unlike the first review it has never came close to tipping over .YOU JUST NEED TO WATCH YOUR CHILD IN IT ALL THE TIME. i would recomend this to all.

        Doesn't Support Baby at All
I took my 20 pound, 6 month old baby into the pool with me this past weekend. The seat, to put it bluntly, sucks. It's only connected to the outer ring by four little straps of single layer plastic. The inner seat moves around inside the inflated ring. As a result, the seat tipped forward unless I leaned on the back ring of the boat to keep my son level. From that position, I couldn't see whether he was enjoying the water or not. If I had held on to him using the green handles in front I have no doubt I would have tipped him over.

The "toys" in front are awful. They blow up with the same valve that inflates the rest of the boat and not very well. The rings don't inflate at all and the three plastic balls don't move in their tube. Never mind that my little guy can't see past the darned thing.

I am extremely disappointed in this product. My sister happened to have a hard plastic baby boat with a cloth sling-like seat and a beautiful shaded canopy that kept the sun off my little guy-- I'll be using that for the rest of the summer. I can't even return this piece of junk because I threw the box away.

          Keep looking
I got this because I kept going to take my newborn out of the car and finding her head at a 90 degree angle. Well, it didn't look safe/healthy, or comfortable. I got this headrest because it seemed geared toward newborns. Well, the only way it works is to have both headrests in there at the same time. I have to readjust the dang thing everytime I put my baby in the seat. And it didn't come with any instructions on how to install in the carseat. I don't even know if I have it in there correctly. I would keep looking.

What is everyone so upset about?
This is a fabulous product. I owned one with my first son, but I gave it to my sister-in-law, so I plan to purchase a new one for the little boy I am expecting. The headrest is actually very easy to install for anyone who has thoroughly looked at it... it's just 2 pieces of velcro. As for the fear of danger during a collision, the headrest is VERY soft and resilient to its shape, thus posing no serious threat to your infant. I did notice that my son's head would pop out of it when he was a few months old, but he had gained some head control and was lifting up, causing me some alarm when I would see his head resting on the headrest rather than in it. Our pediatrician assured us that if our son had some ability to lift his head that he was fine. We used the headrest until our son was about 4 or 5 months old. I found this product safer than a rolled up receiving blanket as it does not shift when the baby moves like a blanket does.

          Love this product!
I love this headrest! We used it with our daughter from day one coming home from the hospital and still use the larger one now and she is 4 months old. You have to use both together when they are newborns and it supported her head wonderfully. Much better than the one that came with our carseat. The velcro straps secure the smaller one to the larger one to hold them in place (this took us a little while to figure out-but it works great!) I recommend it to all my friends with newborns.

                      not that great for infants
My son received this for his first birthday. I had seen it around in stores and thought it would be great for him. My 1 year old becomes very hyper with any thing electronic. When we first used this he kicked it, hit it, and took the book out. The pages wrinkle very easily. It is hard to push the pictures because there is a certain spot that needs to be pushed. Using this he was able to push the sides where to go circles are normally at, and that was it. I am going to wait another 6 months to a year before trying to sit down with him and use the leap pad.

                      Good pics, but too hard
I loved the idea of this toy, and thought it would be incredibly beneficial for my daughter (who's had it since 6 months). She is now a year old and still cant push the buttons, it just takes too much strength! I have tried pushing the buttons with her finger and I almost feel as though Im hurting her to try and show her how. She loves the boks and sounds, but it doesnt hold her attention as she is very independent and wants to do it herself. The books and pictures, however, are great. I would recommened the keypad have sensitive settings, (maybe 3 levels of sensitivy) so it would be VERY sensitive to the touch of a baby, and maybe require more strength as they grow and understand. Otherwise they lose all the cause & effect learning from it! Overall, I dont regret the purchase, just feel it is not age-appropriate.

                      Good for tots
My son received this as a gift when he was 18 months old. He didn't do much with it until he was about 2 1/2, but he loves it now! He can really play with it. He understands how the buttons work, and what he needs to press to get things going. If you are buying this for a younger child, plan on always working on this toy together.
