I bought this before my daughter was born. I didn't use it often when she was little as we also have a mobile and a mommy bear that she responded better to at that time. However, when we sleep trained her I started using it more. It is perfect, now she falls asleep to her night show and music every night. She will sit up until I can wind the music box. But once the music is on, she will lay right down and it sends straight to dream land. I was impressed that in 17 months we have only replaced the batteries once.

I highly recommend this item. My son had the original Lullaby Light Show and was fascinated with it from infancy. He still loves it and is now 5. My daughter (now 13 months) absolutely loves her Lullaby Dream Show. When she is fussy and can't settle down for bed time, I can put her in her crib and turn this on and it instantly soothes her. It is so nice because it can hang on the side of the crib or you can take it out and put it on the floor next to them. Even if the images down show up very well on the ceiling, put it next to the wall and they show up pretty well. Very rugged. A must-have!

I am about to buy my fifth or sixth one of these, and it's because I believe in this product (as I do anything Tomy makes!). My three year old loves looking at the choo choo train on the ceiling at night and now his twin infant sisters have one in their room. Yes, I will admit that it does get hard to see the images when the light gets dim, but change the batteries more often! Even if you don't do that, you can still enjoy the lullaby by manually cranking it, and it lasts for about 7-8 minutes, which is enough to put my little ones to sleep. I have given this to several new mothers who have also enjoyed it immensely. We originally had a Tomy Lullaby Light Show, but this one is better because it hangs on the crib and you can see the images better. Give it a try!

Very disappointed in this doll especially for the money you spend on it. The bottle leaks everywhere, the arm sqeaks like a dog toy, and she is not the cutest doll. Do not waste your money on this doll!!

This is an incredible waste of money. I bought it for my 4 year old-- it is one of the few babies that she NEVER plays with. The doll is made of hard plastic-- it is not "cuddley" for small children. What a mess to feed this doll, and then be concerned about fouling up the internal mechanism if all the food doesn't come out. This baby is a lot of work, not much fun to play with, and a HUGE disappointment.

Buy a Baby Chou Chou instead!

This doll is soooo cool! When I was younger I would always see the commercial for Baby Born and I would always say "I want that!" So I finally got it and I love her! I think that's it's so fun to feed her and have her go potty and give her her drink! It's also really cool how now she is water proof so you can give her a bath whenever you want! I will admit though that it is a little hard to clean her insides because you can't tell if she's clean. But other than that she's great! Hope this helps!

I ordered 12 of these toys and the quality was just horrible! Some people complained about the paint fading fast. . . how about - some of my blocks didn't even come painted!!! Yeah, terrible quality control. Also, I did experience some problems with splintering as I carefully examined each piece. Out of all of the blocks in one wagon, I can honestly say that on average only 2 to 4 were in perfect condition. . . that's pretty bad considering that I have ordered 12! You're almost better off going to Home Depot and buying some wood and paint to make them yourself; I'm sure those will last longer. Unfortunately, I can't even rate this product for fun - since my god son and his friends never even got a chance to play with the toy. . .

I never wrote a review of a product that I bought via Amazon before, but I just had to write in about this one.

I remember these wooden blocks from when I was a young girl, and loved them. When I saw them at Amazon I bought them for my 15 month old grandson.

When we opened the package and took the blocks out, there were two major problems.

1. I got a splinter from a block.
2. One of the blocks BROKE!

These blocks are not of the same quality of the alphabet blocks of old. The toy went right into the garbage.

My sixteen month old son plays with these blocks every day. They provide him with enjoyment as well as teach him motor skills as he stacks them and then knocks them over. He now will stack a few and clap after each one. As far as the letters go, by the time he knows them, the paint will have worn off. That is my only problem with this toy;The colored letters should be more permanent.

When I was a little girl, I had this wind-up lamb that played Brahm's lullaby and moved it's neck. I loved it - and wanted something similar for my daughter. This is NOT it. The music is really "electronic" sounding, and when the neck moves, the whole thing makes this loud "rrrrrrrrr" noise. Plus, the music is WAY too loud for a lullaby. That being said, my daughter loves making this "go." Oh well, save your money and keep looking!

I thought this was a cute item when I registered for it on my baby wish list. But it is loud and mechanical/distorted sounding - kind of scary for a little one.

so my daughter is really into musical toys - - and i've been trying to buy her as many as we can, since she loves them so much. i was really excited to get this product, and really disappointed when it arrived. the music is REALLY electronic sounding, and really loud also - - i'm not sure how she is supposed to go to sleep with it. the movement was neat, she liked that part, but overall, it didn't make a stellar impression or anything. i was really, really let down with how tinny the music was. we have other toys that have electronic music that don't sound NEARLY this bad!

this toy terifies me! it is the runner up chucky! my sister got this and when she played the song, it sounded like a broken bag pipe with mayoniase running down it. i devised a plan and rewierd it's entier system. i was shocked because it woulden't stop playing the mayo song at 2:39 am. i took out the battries but it continued. the wires draind the battieres and allowed the doll to run without them!

What a surprise. Again another toy that tricks young girls into believing they will get the perfect doll, and end up with a freaky scary doll that is at the bottom of their toy chest. My daughter too fell in love with those oh so lovely toy commercials they strategically place on all the children's t.v. networks. Yet again, her gullible mom traipsed out to buy another doll. And yet again, my daughter was dissapointed when surprise.. her hair didn't turn pink, she lost the jewels in a day, and her extremely annoying singing voice was lost after one trip in the bathtub. But then again, I am not complaining about that one.. it is one of the most annoying freakish toys I've seen in quite awhile. I will not be buying anymore of these cheaply made overpriced dolls that are put on the market by mass market toys companies. I will spend the extra bucks and buy American Girl Dolls that will last long after my children are the age of playing with dolls and into the times when my someday grandchildren will be playing with them also. Take my advice, spend the extra money and get a doll that is worth having. THis one is DEFINATELY NOT IT. It will be in my garage sale pile with a 5 cent sticker on it. At least some mom will get lucky and spend the money it's worth!

My daughter received this as a birthday gift when she turned 4. At first, she was delighted, but now she never plays with this anymore. The music is creepy and annoying and will go off in her toybox in the middle of the night. The jewels that come with this doll are all but lost. The hair barely turns pink in the bathtub - there was a Mermaid Kelly doll that was out a few years ago and was better for this feature. Don't even bother spending your $25 on this. It now sits at the bottom of my kid's toy box and she never plays with it anymore. All it does every once in awhile is go off when some other toy hits it in her toy box as a creepy reminder that she is stll present.

I was so excited to get this toy at such a great deal from Amazon, then I showed it to my 5 month old son... He started screaming an d the dog even ran under the kitchen table!! The toy is very loud and noisy as it shoots the "pinballs" from one side of the toy to the other. The music is terrible too. I have a bad habit of buying anything that may be of interest to our son. I think that I have learned my lesson with this toy that scared him (and the dog) so badly!!

I brought this for my son when he was 4 months old to help with tummy time. It help a bit, but not enough to be worth the money. He had no problems pushing it, but with only two things with play with he quickly became bored with it. The music, spinning sun, and the balls wouldn't hold his attention for long after less than a week.

My daughter received this toy as a gift for christmas. She loved it. The lights, the music, and especially the ball popping back and forth.

However, 2 months later, it stopped working. How disappointing! Not worth the money!

This is a set of blocks - that's all. The only way it is a workbench is if an adult puts it together & plays with it ever so gently. Many times I have assembled the workbench to look just like the picture, but after 2 minutes of playing with it, my 2-yr old son has smashed it to pieces, either on purpose or because it just fall apart when he attempts to use the tools. Having said that, generally Megabloks are great fun. We have several sets of blocks, the Talking Timmy car set (which is really cute), and several of the accessory people that go with the blocks. My kids love constructing towers and knocking them down, and even a 2-yr old can easily build a tower with these. My 3-yr old daughter builds chairs for her dolls to sit on, houses, fences, towns, etc. - so the blocks are great for imaginative play. If you want the blocks and the play tools, then get this set, but DO NOT expect it to be usable as workbench. This Christmas we are getting our son a "real" workbench, not one made out of blocks that are designed to be knocked down!

This toy is okay but it takes all of the blocks to build the workbench and falls over very easily. This toy is only good for the storage container it comes in. I bought it at two different stores and every time it was missing pieces. I tried to contact megabloks.com and did not get a response from them. Needless to say I returned them and got my money back. Spend your money on additional blocks and use the floor.

There are those toys that get taken apart and never get played with again. This one is in my basement and hasn't been touched for about 9 months.

We got this as a baby gift when our son was a newborn. My husband is a HUGE basketball fan and would hold our son in his lap and play with this game. (I think he liked it as much as our son liked it!) Over the months, as our son developed, he became more and more adept with the toy. Now a toddler, it's his favorite toy of all time! I'm not sure that it would be great for a child older than maybe 15 months, but for the younger crowd, it's just terrific.

This thing makes fun sounds, but it's too complicated for a little guy (mine is 11 months) and too small for a bigger kid. Also, my son wants to use it to lean on and pull up on and it just falls over on him. Don't bother with it.

My 9 month old daughter got this toy for christmas. She is at the crawling/pulling up on everything stage. She also has the pull up ball blast which uses the same balls (which is nice). The problem with this toy is that she can't use it to pull up, which any child this age would naturally try to do on anything the right height. I had seen the picture preivously and it was smaller than I expected (but the perfect height for her) even a baby sitting up in front of it can put the balls in. However, in order for her to use it, I had to tie it to the corner of my coffee table so it wouldn't just fall right over on top of her.

Pros: Baby seems to like, has 3 way volume switch (on/low/high)
Cons: Easily tipped over

I have a 2 year old son and we bought this for him when he was about 18 months. If you have a big child and by that I mean one that is big for his age. Our son just turned 2 in March and he is 35 inches tall and weighs 31 pounds. This is not a good toy for him. He is too big for everything on it. To get up on the slide for him is very difficult because he is so big and the play set is small. There really is not that much room on it. But if you have a very petite Child then this swing is ideal for them. I just want to let parents know about this and not waste your money like we did. He still plays on it but it is very small for him.

THIS IS A GREAT GYM SET TO HAVE. THERE CUTE AND STRONG QUALITY.
MY DAUGHTER WILL HAVE HER OWN LITTLE PARK, AND AT THE SAME TIME IT WILL MAKE HER FEEL MORE SECURE USING THE SLIDE ON HER OWN. SHE HAS ALSO LEARNED TO USE TH SWING ON HER OWN. THIS IS A SAFE PRODUCT. I'M SURE YOU WILL ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS SEEING THEM HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!

My daughter received this set for her first birthday, but we did not assemble it until she was 14months. I do not recommend this gym. At 14 months my daughter finds it impossible to get to the top of the slide herself...there aren't any stairs, and she is not coordinated enough to use the "ladder" to climb to the top. The ledge that is provided is also too high and difficult to get to for any 12 to 18 month old I know. The swing also is poorly designed as well....with no height adjustment it is not very practical.

My daughter was interested in this for about an hour, and now just bypasses it. We have to work at it to get her to show any type of interest. She would much rather practice her climbing on our furniture. The only positive is that this was easy to put together...and since it was given to her as a gift from her grandparents...at least we didn't waste our money. I have seen a lot of other sets that are better than this one.

I recently bought this toy for my 10 month old son. I was wanting a toy for his stroller. When I took it out of the box and tried installing it on his stroller I could never get it to securely fasten and the toy is WAY to big. I let my son play with it anyway and he seemed to like it but not worth keeping.

I am going to return this item because of two reasons: 1) To big for the stroller and 2) Don't like the fastening straps.

we received this toy as a gift for a 1 year old daughter who liked to pretend she was driving. it didn't attach to a 20lb+ car seat. so obviously, it didn't stay in our child's lap for very long, and it would drop to the side. it wasn't entertaining either. we ended up selling it at a garage sale for $1. and instead we bought the mickey mouse driving wheel roadster that lights up and plays tunes, and it was an instant hit.

We got this toy for our daughter when she was 11 months old and we were going on vacation. She loves keys and phones and steering wheels, but for some reason this toy never did really interest her. For one thing it is very difficult to play with while sitting in a carseat. She kept pushing it over the side, and I couldn't get it positioned well so that she could reach it. Even when it was on the floor, though, she didn't play with it. I finally put it up in the closet. A few days ago, she discovered it again (she's 21 months now) and wanted to play with it. She looks at it for 3-4 minutes at a time and then is through with it. It was a pricey toy and definitely was not worth the money for us.

The one good thing I can say about it is that if you can get it positioned well, it really could be a good car toy because all the pieces are soft. I think for our daughter, though, it just didn't look realistic enough for her to be interested.
