    Just ok
We found the box easy to put together, but the part that controls the lid was too stronge for any child to get back down. We had to buy a new one. Can't tell about the durablity since we just bought it for our grandchild.

    Great Gift
I purchased this toy box as a gift for a 2 year old. There were full instructions, and full parts, included in the box. There weren't any damaged pieces (and the outside box itself had been opened/sealed, reopened/sealed, several times, as is frequently the case when you buy things - not a big deal). I put the toy box together, with just two tools (phil. head, straight screwdrivers), in 1 hour exactly. Glue is included for extra holding power. The hinge is centered on the lid, as opposed to the picture on the web site where it is shown off to the side. The hinge was tricky, but once on it worked just fine. The lid stays slightly open, 1/2 inch or so, and you have to put weight on it to close it all the way - great for little fingers. I recommend if you can to try to pre-drill, or pre-screw in the screw holes on the hinge, because holding the hinge in place and screwing in at the same time was tricky. Great toy.

    literate people will enjoy
We bought this box because it matched our decor. We were concerned about the two comments that it was difficult to put together and the issues with the hinge. We normally don't leave feedback but did not want this item to get overlooked (...). If you read the directions and follow them precisely it is a cinch to put together!!! Enjoy:)

      We weren't so thrilled.
My daughter loves the doll and the doll is pretty however...It isn't easy to make "dance" and the barre doesn't stand up nicely so she has been frustrated.

      We like it
I don't know what everyone is expecting when they buy this doll. I happened to come across it while shopping and bought it for my almost 6 year old since she has been in ballet since she was 3. I thought is was cute. The music is sweet and its just a doll. I don't know why anyone would rely on ads to show you what it can really do. My major disappointment was the scrunchie that doesn't stretch big enough to get around your pinkie let alone around the dolls hair. Both of her sisters like it too. If you don't have commercial expectations of it coming alive, there is no reason it wouldn't be a great gift for your ballet enthusiast.

      Major Disappointment!!!
My 6 year old ballerina was ecstatic to receive this for her birthday. Unfortunately this doll is not worth the money it cost to make it. You can not make your doll do the ballet positions. The advertising leaves children to believe she will dance for you. Not true, you have to make her pirouette and her feet have to stay pointed. The feet end up going flat, and she slips all over the place. The ballet bar requires batteries to play ballet music. Can I ask you? What is fun about a ballet bar that plays music when your doll won't even dance? This toy is a expensive dud. My daughter was major disappointed. It was played with for a total of 5 minutes, and will spend eternity in the bottom of the toy box with the rest of the expensive toy duds that seem to be commonplace anymore. If you are going to want a doll that is educational, playable, and keep your child interested, spend the extra money and invest in American Girl dolls.

      Pop-Up Dinosaurs Infant Toy
      Made by Tolo
      Age Group: 18 months - 3 years
        Amazon base price: $19.99
Pop-up toys have always been a toddler favorite, and they're great for developing fine motor skills. These adorable pop-up baby dinosaurs, set in an 11-inch-long blue plastic base, "hatch" from their eggs when you manipulate the buttons in just the right way. Toddlers learn to recognize colors and shapes as they play: Push the pink circle and the pink egg hatches, revealing an orange baby dinosaur with a goofy smile and pink polka dots. Rock the orange triangle and the orange egg hatches, producing a yellow dinosaur with orange triangles. There's also a green star to turn and a yellow hexagon (now there's an impressive word for a toddler's vocabulary) to slide. The buttons are easy to manipulate, and a simple push with the palm of the hand scrunches the dinos right back into their eggs. Made of sturdy ABS plastic; easy to clean. --Elisabeth Fredrickson

Requires too much strength for toddlers
The springs on this toy are extremely tight, making it very difficult for babies and toddlers to operate. Althouhg it is nice to see dinosaurs instead of all the other familiar characters, all of the other pop-up boxes I've seen "reward" the child by popping up with much less hand strength required.

Finally, an all-time favorite that doesn't need batteries!
I purchased this toy for my son's 1st birthday. I looked high and low for a pop up toy that didn't sing long annoying songs, or have lights, noises, etc. We have plenty of those toys. I wanted a simple, yet entertaining and educational toy. And that's what I found with this one. My son loves to work the buttons to make the dinosaurs pop. Even my 3 year old likes to play with it too. She helps him by pushing the tops back down. The entire toy is very sturdy. Others have mentioned that the tops break off, but I even tried to break it with my hand and couldnt, you'd need a hammer! Best of all, it doesnt need batteries!

        not safe and no fun
once you get this toy in your hands you can see the cheap construction--the buttons don't work smoothly and the egg-tops are easy to pull off: just the right size for my toddler to pop in his mouth! i chucked this one right in the garbage....

          What?
There IS an African American doll by Fisher Price, on the very same page. How rude is it to post something like that before knowing for sure? This is a place for people who HAVE the toy to respond.

My daughter got this toy when she was born. I'm getting rid of it because like everyone else, the rattle hit her in the head and gave her a bruise. She's 7 months. My two year old sister had the same problem.

          A Great Idea but...
My daughter got this as a christmas gift she is now 5 months. It's a great idea but they really need to change the age on it. The age range they give it is Birth and up. With the hard face and rattle I wouldn't give it to her. Even now at 5 months she holds thing but everything goes right into her mouth. So lying on the floor this doll would smack right onto her face. We do hold it up for her and shake the rattle she loves that and she laughs. When she is lying on her stomach she'll try to chew on the doll sometime spitting up on it. The doll is suppose to be washable. I washed it once and now the rattle is filled with water. It's a cute doll but not recommended for the age range they give it.

          First Doll
My 10 month old daughter received this doll for Christmas and she absolutely fell in love with it. She takes her to bed with her and she goes everywhere with us. Lately she has taken to patting her. The only thing I would change would be the rattle. It's a little hard and large for this doll.

            waste of money
I bought this toy for my son when he was 11 months old. My because he liked his other toys better, but he doesn't give this one any attention at all. The crank is hard for him to turn and the musical tune doesn't keep his attention. I love this brand but this isn't one of their best toys.

            safety concern
My son started playing with this toy when he was six months old and absolutely loved it and still likes it. It helped motivate him to crawl but this toy should be a playpen toy (I had hardwood floors) or you should not allow your child to play with it unless you are right there because (as another review said) my son will also reach his arms out and the toy flips up and hits him in the face. This toy may be much better on carpet but probably won't slide as well. Great toy...with close supervision.

            WATCH YOUR CRAWLERS
I KNOW THIS TOY IS MADE TO HELP YOUR LITTLE ONE LEARN TO CRAWL BUT, PLEASE WATCH THEM VERY CAREFULLY. MY LITTLE GUY IS 6 MONTHS & CRAWLING GREAT BUT SOMETIMES AS HE PUSHES THIS TOY OUT TO ARMS LENGTH HOLDING THE TOP BAR IT FLIPS UP FROM THE OPPOSITE SIDE AND HITS HIM HARD RIGHT IN THE FACE!!! IT WAS ONE OF HIS FAVORITE TOYS WHEN I BOUGHT IT BEFORE HE WAS MOBILE BECAUSE THE NOISES & SOUNDS IT MADE. BUT NOW I DON'T LET HIM PLAY WITH IT ANYMORE SINCE IT HAS HAPPEND MORE THAN 1 TIME.

            Taf Toys Clip 'n Play
            Made by International Playthings
            Age Group: 6 months - 2 years
              Amazon base price: $17.99
Busy babies love exploring with all of their senses, and this crib activity toy offers lots to see, hear, and feel. The sturdy, hard-plastic base attaches easily to a crib or play yard railing with two simple plastic clips. Four different shapes hang from the base on short cords, and when babies grasp one and pull--surprise!--they hear a squeak, jingle bell, or rattle. Three of the shapes also cause pieces on the base unit to move. One end of the toy has a wheel that turns with a clicking sound, and inside the wheel is a little spinning hourglass filled with tiny beads. This is a toy full of fun and learning potential. --Marcie Bovetz

              clip and play
This item seemed to be ideal for a baby who would be in a playpen for any length of time. However when it arrived I noticed that it was not very well made. There were strings handing down and I thought it was way to advanced for a six month old child. It just didnt seem that it would stay together.

              Disapointed
I really wanted this for my baby befor CHRISTMAS and I ordered, it arrived broken. I returned it. They sent another and it was broken. I still wanted it but Amazon refused to send me another. The customer service department said they are all like that---arrive broken in the box from being bounced around the inside of the packing box with bubble wrap.

I do NOT recommend this product
My son is almost 6 months old and he hasn't even had a chance to play with this yet and the stickers are peeling off. He can't sit up yet so I am possitive it is not because of him, and there hasn't been any other children near the toy. I would think that this would be a choking hazard for children. If you don't want your kids eating stickers then I wouldn't buy it. Trust Me. We all know that everything goes into our kids mouth so be careful if you do get this.

Very challenging to open and get the ducks back inside
My 16 month old daughter loves ducks. This toy was fun at first, but the back of the mother duck is very hard to open, even for me. Once it's open, she leaves it open which causes it to fill with water. The little ducks are easily lost in a bubble filled tub. So the mother duck gets most of the action. Overall it's not that great a toy. It's stiff and hard for wet hands to manuever.

                Finally, an easy-to-clean bath toy!
Why do so many bath toys have holes in the bottom, allowing bath water to enter and moulder and render the toy disgustingly no fun?

Hurray for BRIO and their sweet duck family -- no holes!!

My 14-month-old got this toy for her birthday and she loves it! With a little help to hold momma duck's lid open, she has no problem putting the baby ducks away, then taking them back out, then putting them away again.

                Hands-down, our favorite bath toy!!

Shape Sorter is too Soft...Confuses My Child!
My husband and I are very into educational toys and so we bought this shape sorter for our son's first birthday...the shapes are fun especially the clear shapes that contain miniature shapes that are consistent with the piece's shape. The problem is that the walls of the toy are too soft and my son can fit any of the pieces into any of the openings. I am always playing with him so I can redirect him to the correct opening for lets say the square but we want to encourage independent thinking and well...the shape sorter doesn't have the firmness that will deter mistakes! He may be thinking is if the square fits into the circle opening why is Mom shaking her head "NO!" My son is getting confused with this toy...and to make matters worse we paid $30 dollars for this toy! Can I have my money back?

Can't sort but he likes the toys
I got this for Alan who is 10 months old. He isn't into sorting yet, but did seem to like the different toys, not sure which is his favorite yet.

                  High Quality and Attention-getting
Our son (3 months new--the word "old" is just too ironic in this case)is naturally attracted to this toy for some reason--I'm not a psychologist, so I don't know why. He likes to touch the various pyramids, cubes, and balls and then watch me put them back into the container. He has also slobbered on some of the shapes, but the gunk just wipes off. In any event, the toy does keep his attention so far.

Yes...it DOES have the entire Tigger song...
I bought this 3 in 1 cartridge in spite of the reviews I had read that panned it...and the whole product in general. We have the music blocks as well as the giant block. I would hardly describe it as 15 seconds of music. On the giant block, the ENTIRE Tigger song is split into large chunks that each get activated separately on each side of the cube. There are slight pauses in between the phrases (because the cartridge works differently for the other products), but it's not disruptive to the rhythm. They come exactly where the pauses normally do in the song. On the music blocks, it works differently. Each of the large chunks are broken down into smaller phrases - 1 for each side of each of the 5 separate cubes (30 separate parts of the song). You can really make some interesting combinations.

Also...I have yet to find the screw in the cartridge case that makes it soooo difficult to change the song on the cartridge. All you have to do is open the velcro flap and pop open the hinged cover that opens with one of the pressure tabs (for lack of a better description) - a whole 2 seconds I think..maybe 3. The only thing in this area on the giant cube that requires a screwdriver is the battery compartment - which is separate from the cartridge compartment. The ONLY problem I have is that sometimes I try to put the cartridge in backwards, but it doesn't fit that way...so I figure it out. I like that it doesn't fit so you can't accidentally destroy the cartridge.

With the Tigger song, I prefer the Giant Cube, because the kids can roll the cube around to see if they can get the right order of the song. Plus, it's fun. They jump up and down and dance around the cube. The giant cube is GREAT for taking out frustration too. The music blocks require a little more thought and the cartoon sound effects are really interesting on the music blocks.

I'm REALLY happy I bought these, and I'm glad I didn't let the other reviews scare me away from this set. They are simply a great addition to your Neurosmith cartridge set - and a bargain considering what you would pay to buy the 3 songs individually direct from Neurosmith. I also HIGHLY recommend the Music from Around the World 3 in 1 cartridge - some really great rhythms.

                      Don't buy this...
This is a really unsafe float for a infant or young child. My husband bought this for our daughter last year and I couldn't believe how easily this rolled over in the water, and you can't get child out. I life guarded for 13 years, and would never take my hands off my 1 year old child in our pool. She made a simply rocking motion in the pool and the raft flipped over. I had a terrible time trying to flip it back over or even getting my daughter out of it. To make sure no child would ever use it again I cut it up with scissors. This is dangerous, please don't buy this item.

                      Beware!
Please be very careful with this product. We were sitting in the kiddie pool with our son and he leaned over in this seat and it tipped him upside down, head first into the water and the seat held him down under the water. We were right there, so we pulled him up right away. DO NOT turn your head even for a second with this product. It is dangerous.

                      Wonderful product
...It can tip but so can any float like this. Of course you cant take your eye off a baby in a pool float like this. It's not a babysitter. It does make enjoying the pool with your baby much easier.
