    Be Alert!!!!
I bought this for my 6 yr old on his birthday, He got to ride it for about an hour and when he went to park it in the garage the power button broke and he ran into the garage wall, being six he could not respond fast enough to use the hand brake. Then I call the company they asured me that there was a recall on this bike, They did send me a new one about a week later and it seems to be fine. Just be aware there are some still out there on the shelves that have not been fixed yet!
    Purchased ours at Toysrus...

    Excellent toy
We bought my son this toy when he was 4, and it was the best toy we could of bought him, he absolutley loves it. He rides it almost everyday, all day. We have had it about a year now and haven't had any problems with it, my son and all the neighbor kids love it. The hand brake is a little hard to squeeze for smaller hands, but once you let go of the power button it stops fairly quick on its own.

      this bike stinks
if u are interested in buying this bike, DONT. this is one of the worst bikes i have ever seen. my dad was just going to get a bike just to ride around the neighborhood for some excersice. I have a haro backtxrail x2-very good bike, well anyway we went to get it at the store and we bought it( it looks very good). All of the problems started when he tried it out. The brakes sounded like a goose that was shot shot. The front brakes dont work at all. My friend has an unbelivable downhill bike and he knows a lot about bikes and how to fix them. He tried to fix the front brakes and the screws were tightened all the way. The shifters are terrible and the rear gear dont even shift. ok so anyway DONT GET THIS BIKE!

      The dude is wrong
Dude, no one is an idiot here. The bike doesn't work. It is the worst piece of crap that I have seen. No amount of fixing can make this bike work. The brakes are terrible and make noise because the brake pads are made of some kind of cheap rubber and not because the brakes need adjustment. The gear shifters are messed up because the derailier is bent. The frame is messed up because it is welded wrong. The shocks don't work because they are cheap springs. It is basically a piece of junk. What the bonehead reviewer who calls other people idiots need to do is to get a life, get a job and quit letting mommy and daddy buy all his toys for them. What a baby.

      bang for the $$$$
I read all the reviews on this site and despite some of the harsh responses posted, I decided to check it out. I bought it from Toys R Us and it looks really good. I just wanted something to get some good exercise and have fun in the park. Would I buy this bike to enter competitions? No. I'd invest in a Trek or a GT. However, If all you want is basic biking around the park/neighborhood, it's great. The two grips I have with the bike is the uncomfortable seat and the difficult to adjust gear shifter and breaks. I took it to the local bike shop and they adjusted it for me for $10. I bought a bike computer to see how many calories I burned, my speed, and distance for $16. I'm happy with my purchase!

Control urban thrashers who cut through massive, radical environments. Perform tight tricks, such as tail whips, body varials, and backflips. Race to the finish line while grinding ledges, barrels, and benches. You can even upgrade your ride for better performance and cooler tricks.

        more like no star!
This game stinks, the fact that it was ever created or even thought of bafels, perplexes, and flumixes me beyond all utter belief. I, being a superb master of all that is video games have astronomically, and not to mention cosmically come to the rock solid conclusion that this game bothers me and won't allow me to sleep. You wanna talk content, lets talk about graphics, they stink, there might as well not even be graphics. The music is guterally foul and sickining. I mean come on, who in the world has ever heard of the sloppy meat eaters. Maybe I'm retarted but I sure haven't heard of them. If you've ever considered replacing you roll of toilet paper in the bathroom with something else, Razor Scooter would make a fine replacement. Hey it's as cheap as toilet paper, right? I recommend the VHS edition of RODENTZ over this garbage. You know, that movie about the pack of rats that eats people and somehow manages to throw sexuality into it.

        This game STINKS!
The games graphics are pretty good, but the gameplay is REALLY bad!The music is bad too, I mean, who's heard of "the sloppy meat eaters?"All in all I rate this game a 2 out of 10.

        ok
This game is good but the storyline is not so good. The game play is fine but it does not match up to Tony Hawks Pro Skater. The music is really bad compared to Matt Holfkins Pro BMX game.I mean who would like music that just goes over and over again. The sequel to it is just a little good but this is still worth buying.

          Worked for me!
It wasn't the easiest to attach to the bike, but I was able to get it on without too much trouble. I have a quick adjust seat bracket and used that bolt instead of the one provided with the carrier. While everything didn't line up perfectly when assembling, once it was all tightened up it fit right. Went for our first ride today and my son had a blast.

Liked it so much we bought two.
We bought the carrier a year ago for our two year old and she loves going for rides! We found it easy to use and change between bikes so my husband and I can take turns riding with one child. We now have a one year old, so we bought another one for him. They are so affordable we didn't mind buying another and I feel safer having them right with me rather than trailing on the ground behind me.

          Great value!
I don't see what the trouble was...I put this seat on my bicycle and we were on the road within the hour! It's sturdy, lightweight and it did not affect my balance at all. I think it's a great value, especially if you bought it from a competing store (...) I would definitely recommend it!

I read the reviews and it sounded great, but once I played it, it was like every other dirt bike game. I was dissapointed

          Supercross 2000 Review
Supercross 2000 is an excellent game for anyone that likes car/motorcycle type auto racing for playstation. It combines real-world physics and real tuning ability with the cartooniness you get from the tricks, the air, and the craziness. I give this five stars because you can race any of the 1999 Supercross Tracks from the racing series(even the same track setup as the real race in 1999! ), or you can do a freestyle supercross round at three different stadiums from across the country. This game is a very fun game at a very affordable price. It is appropriate for ANY age group.

          Awesome dirt track fun!
I have played this game a lot and definitely agree that it takes some time to master. It is not the typical hammer the throttle bike game. It blew MotoRacer right out of the water! If you are a serious rider in real life this is the game for you! The bikes definitly handle better than any other bike game I have played, arcade included. There is a definite difference in the handling between the agile 250cc and the heavier 400cc bikes which makes the game all that much more challenging to play.

            This is fun?
I am new to Playstation so I thought "what could be more fun than riding a dirt bike!" Just dont go off the track into the grass or you crash! What kind of off road bike cant go off-road? I thought it would me much more exciting. And dont go too fast either or you'll crash. Too bad...

            VMX Racing
I personally don't like this game and don't recomend it to anyone . It has horrible driving abilities, and the racing is so boring, I think this game is the next step up from "exite bike" for the origional nintendo system.

              It's a GREAT bike
We bought this bike for our daughter last year when she was just a little over two years old. We didn't spend much time working with her on this, but she'd sat on it a few times and tried to pedal. This past weekend, Saturday, May 15th, our daughter, now three, hopped on the bike and pedaled away. She learned how to brake, using the coaster brakes, on Sunday. She looks really adorable riding it, and it's the perfect size, and of course the perfect PINK color for girls. Wonderful bike! Would definitely recommend it! Of course you can't beat the price either, if you're not lucky enough to get a handmedown from someone you know. Looking at other bikes out there, for $40 and $50 and upwards, the value of this bike is unbeatable.

                Aptly named
I bought this bike a year ago at Toys R Us for my 4-year old son. On the way home from the store both tires exploded in the back of our van. We turned around and returned the bike to the store, where the sales clerk explained that the tires must have been over-inflated. We left the bike so they could replace the tubes and picked it up a few days later. Shortly thereafter one of the new tubes burst again. Toys R Us was good about it, and replaced the tube again, and we didn't have any more trouble until this June when both tubes burst when the bike was parked in our driveway (thank God my son wasn't riding it at the time). This time we took the bike to a local bike shop out of convenience, and they replaced both tubes for $18. Less than 10 days later we found that one of the tubes had burst again while the bike was parked in our garage. I took the bike back to the bike shop and the technician said that the trouble is with the rims, that they don't have a lip on them to grab the tire and keep the tube in check when it starts to expand with the heat. He said he could replace the tube again but it would eventually burst again. I said no thanks, I'll go back to Toys R Us to see what they could do for me. The bike manager at Toys R Us said he could not accept it as a return because it was over 90 days old, and that my best bet would be to contact the manufacturer directly. If anyone has any advice on how to get satisfaction from this manufacturer I would appreciate it.

                Very disappointed
I guess I was pleased to see that other people have had problems with the tires on this model bike. My son was only able to ride it one time before the front tire blew out, and it completely warped the front wheel. The hardest part is even trying to get information on parts, etc. to get it fixed. I would not recommend this bike to anyone. I regret my own purchase! The frame is sturdy and well built, but the wheels and also the hand brakes are useless.

                not bad for the price
My son has been using this bike for 5 months now. It seems to be pretty sturdy and durable for the price. This size bike is one that will transition him from a small training wheels bike to a larger bike in a year or so and it seems perfect for that job. It is an inexpensive bike (but not cheaply made). Good value for the price. One caveat is the hand brakes. A 5 year old boy really doesn't have the manual dexterity to work those stiff hand brakes and they're basically just for show. We have not had any problems with the tires as other reviewers.

                  Dear Viewers,
I am writing to you because I think that this bike is awesome. "It is off the hook." Off course I never had a Dual shocks for all terrain needs.

Now since I have a paper route and also going to High School at Manchester High, I think that it would be best to ride the mongoose there.

well this bike has a nice frame with extra welds and it also has exceptional tires. It has horable shocks on the front but the back is so so I have went threw about 3 rims on this bike.So if you are planning on jumping this bike then dont bother with it you should just go and buy a realy good mongoose not this one.

The realistic bike racer Superbike 2000 is packed with real-world pros--20 in all, including four-time world champion Carl Fogarty. Hop aboard racing bikes from six manufacturers, including Yamaha and Ducati. Once you are ready for the road, you get your pick of 13 international tracks to conquer, ranging from Monza to Laguna Seca.

Superbike features several modes, including a full season and a practice mode. There is also a race weekend mode, which is simply a pole race with two additional races on a chosen track, as well as single-race and time trial modes. Bikes and weather conditions can be adjusted to suit individual tastes.

Two knocks on Superbike are its graphics and excitement level. Colors are a little washed out, while the sim nature of the game may turn off casual fans. The soundtrack is also a little on the subdued side for such an adrenaline-charged sport. --Robb Guido

                    Pros:

                    • The most complete Superbike game on the PlayStation as far as tracks and superstars go
                    Cons:
                    • Washed-out graphics and sounds
                    • A little less simulation and a little more action would've been nice
                    Average review score:

Rent it just to see how bad it is.
This game takes all the fun out of motorcycling, especially the thrill of riding a Ducati superbike. I literally smile every time I hop on my 748 and fire up that L-twin. There is no sense of speed whatsoever in the game, and the sound and graphics are terrible, even for the dated platform. If EA had polled any sportbike riders, each would have agreed that they love the ability to "flick" their bike through turns and corners. All the bikes in this game feel heavy, and lack any character. Even as a sim for the hard-core superbike fiend, the game just does not pass muster. If I rode into a barrier going 130, the bike would disintegrate and I would be thrown several yards. The bike would not just bounce off the wall with a dull thud, and I would NOT be able to wheelie on. Wheelies are controllable in real life, but not so in this game -- once you hit that throttle, you're on one wheel. (Unlike GT2, there is no ability to control that throttle). I bought the game just because I love anything motorcycles, but this was perhaps the most disappointing game I've purchased to date. Motoracer World Tour is a much better racer, even though it is more arcade-oriented (and IT'S not that great of a game). EA, like so many other software developers, have released a game just for the sake of releasing it. Avoid this game.

                    Whoops
That's exactly what I said after trying this game after purchasing it. The best part is the intro, which is the only reason I haven't traded it in, and I'm a bike racing fanatic. The graphics are poor, gameplay is totally unrealistic. Keep the throttle pinned throughout the lap, and the game slows down for you! Definitely looking forward to GP500 on the PS2.

                    superbike 2000
                    On my cumputer.
This is more than just a plain game, this is a simulation. I ride a ducati 900ss on track days and i can say that this game is realy well made. At the begening you can ajust the setting so at the begening it is easy to ride, set realistic mode and than you have to ride whit accuracy, you can slide the bike whit the throtle in curve, just turn the stick to the opposite of the curve like in real life! You can lock the front wheel. wheelie is possible but the bike are on close ratio racing transmission so it is a bit harder than street bike like in real. Stoppies are not possible. Playing championship mode is very very realistic. You can 'tried' to beat the best time lap indicate by real life record. You whil ear commentary whit the same voice at on tv! The graphic are excelent. If you whant just a game, there is many out there, if you whant a simulation that recreate to this days the closer to real life, this is the one. And after playing a while you gone to realise how good the real superbike racer are.
