    best shape sorter
This is the best shape sorter out there. The "shapes" are 3-D, so they can be inserted in many different directions, not just 2 directions like the usual toy of this kind. This means that even 1 year olds can really work out the problem on their own. The door and key are equally fascinating, as others have noted: open the door, close the door, take out shape, put in shape, etc for long periods of time. One of the best and most fun toys my son owns, AND its educational in an open-ended way, unlike all of these electronic "learning" toys.

    Highly recommended
I bought this toy for my son when he was 9 months old and at 1 year he still loves to play with it. He plays with it in a lot of ways -- he likes to clap the blocks and balls together, walk around holding them, roll the yellow balls around and chase them, put the blocks in and out of the little door. This is even before he got to the point where now he tries to sort the shapes. I think part of the reason he likes it so much is that the blocks (the square, the ball, and the pyramid) are brightly colored, and just the right size for his hands. The toy seems very thoughtfully designed and well made.

    Childs Favorite Toy!
My daughter got this for her 1st birthday and almost 3 months later she still plays with it like it is new toy. She got the hang of it right away. The shapes are very easy for her to put in the box. It is also her secret safe where she puts other toys too. =)

Warlocked is a fantasy real-time strategy (RTS) game that focuses on resource collecting, unit building, exploring, and battling between two bitter rivals: humans and beasts. Gamers can choose to play on one side or the other, each housing a dozen missions, numerous subplots, unique units, and different personalities.

We enjoyed how simply Warlocked uses the Game Boy Color's interface of four arrow keys and two buttons to do everything. RTS games typically rely heavily on savvy mouse maneuvering, and we feared the gameplay would be very difficult on the small Game Boy Color screen. Thankfully, its not, and the game scores better for it.

The basic gameplay involves mining gold and chopping down wood to create new buildings and units, as well as creating an army of warriors and archers to do your dirty work. If there are too many people and not enough houses, your town hall will be unable to produce more men until there are adequate quarters for them to sleep in. Likewise, if there's not enough wood to make archers, you may be stuck creating more sword-wielding grunts.

Wizards can be found and protected, then added to your arsenal. Each of the 20 different kinds of magicians features its own unique skill. While some may be able to launch fireballs, cause earthquakes or summon lightning storms, others may make enemies fall asleep, cause deadly plagues, or convert enemy fighters over to your side.

Mission objectives themselves vary greatly. From rescuing a princess, finding treasure chests, riding a dragon out of its lair, escorting an important member of royalty to safety, or destroying a village, it's rare to see such variety in any game these days, much less a portable one!

Warlocked has only one glaring problem: pathfinding artificial intelligence (AI). In many cases, when you're instructing your troops or worker to go somewhere, the little warriors will get stuck behind objects or tangled in groups.

The good news that comes out of this AI problem is the strong multiplayer mode. That's right--with the optional Game Link cable, two Warlockedgamers can be (forgive the pun, we couldn't resist!) locked in war with each other. In fact, during the single-player game, it's possible to unlock special multiplayer maps (eight in all). This head-to-head option proved to be the most fun game mode of all.

Fans of the bigger, badder RTS games such as WarCraft and Age of Empires will find much to love here. Don't be thrown off by the Game Boy guise--you just might get hooked! --Todd Mowatt

      Pros:

      • Easy-to-use interface
      • Wide variety in gameplay
      • Fun head-to-head option
      Cons:
      • Poor pathfinding artificial intelligence often makes for bumbling troops

      T.J. Wilson-A #1 Warlocked Fan!!!
What an awseome game!I would definitely reccomend you buy Warlocked! Now,don't get any ideas about players saying the graphics arn't good. That's their opinion, but my opinion is the graphics are awesome!!!You get to control an army of wizards, warriors(knights),archers, and you even get to control goblins(grunts) and make them build you buildings to help your army! There are a total of 26 levels. The first 2 levels prepare you for the other levels,so it's not a hard game to learn how to play, but it's very challenging. My favorite part of the game is getting to control wizards like Windwiz and Necromnancer. Warlocked was one of my first GBC games, and it will always be my favorite!!!

      Warlocked
There are two sides that you can play on: Queen Azarel's army in which you control human knights, elven archers, and grunts(little humans that do work like mining and chopping down trees,) or Emperor Zog's army which consists of beast warriors (instead of human knights,) skeleton archers (instead of elven archers,) and goblins (instead of grunts.) You can also gather wizards to aid you, and build essential farms to feed your troops. Also, if you find a dragon egg, you can have your troops carry it back to your Main Hall (your base) and it will hatch in about one minute. Even when you beat the game, you will find yourself coming back for more strategic fun.

      Buy it
...This game is awsome and my guess is the guy in the last reveiw doesnt know how to play a strategy game. This game has every thing and is a great because it has mini games(poker, and slider) if you get tired of the main game. It would be better with more missions, its still a great game. But you may want to wait and get Wizards which is the sequel to this game, which will be on game boy advance.I cant wait.

        beautiful but not durable
My son got this yesterday and instantly fell in love with the toy. He loves to open the locks, see what is inside the doors and just adores it. Also, my eight year old got a kick out of it and he is ADHD. It takes a bit more to keep him still. But, I was disapointed when the combination lock fell apart and the spring came out. My son was unable to open the lock after that and we had to fix it to stay open permenantly since I don't want to take it away and send it back for a replacement. My son is only two and half. He would be very mad at me.

        perfect gift
I bought this has a Christmas gift for a 2 & 1/2yr old boy. He loved unlocking real doors, playing with keys & seeing how locks worked so I figured this would be the perfect gift. He normally has a pretty short attention span, and doesn't play with one thing for more then a few minutes. But, not this! After he opened this gift, he could care less about the others that still needed to be unwrapped. For the first 30 minutes, he wouldn't even look up from the puzzle. He played with it almost for a straight hour, and after that still kept going back to play with it for 15-20minutes at time. His older cousins (10 & 12) loved helping him with the more diffcult locks (the luggage lock was very tricky, since they locked the instructions underneath. The code ended up being a simple 1-2-3) The keys stay attached to the boards so you don't have to worry about losing them. This is a perfect gift for any little one that loves puzzles.

          Best lock i use
This item I bought a couple of weeks ago. its awsome. I told my parents that I wanted to get a bmx bike for school. they told me that I had to also get a lock for it because they were not going to give extra money to buy another one if it go stolen. I like this cause it has a combo so I do not loose a key while at school. I my mom set it to the last 4 numbers of our phone so I would always remember it. This lock has also helped me to lock up my best friends bike. his is old but its a cool color so he rides it. the package said kryptonite so superman cant get my bike.

            Great toy
This is toy is awesome. It's perfect for girls who want privacy from brothers and sisters. It's hard to get use to because of all the fast blinking so i suggest to practice it before putting it on the door.
