Safety Gear Reviews

Good seat doesn't always fit
There should be no other!

but also check out the britax marathonAnd Britax makes the absolute best car seats you can buy -- my son has always been comfortable, and he always loved the britax galaxy infant seat over the evenflo i had for my husbands car.
He has been doing great in the roundabout the last three years too.
To make one more comparison, the Husky which goes 22 to 80 lbs is really only for an over 1 year old since it does not install rear facing. It is also an enormous and heavy seat which works fine in my truck, but seems a bit big for the Audi A4. So I would still choose the Marathon over the Husky if we were to have another child since it is sized similar to the Roundabout yet takes you to 65 lbs. If you don't have latch, absolutely choose Britax, since it is the safest seat out there and installs just as firm with the top tether as any seat with latch does!
BEST CAR SEAT WORTH THE MONEY!!
Very easy to install; Worth the money

- Shatterproof
- Safety pin and Velcro attachment required (included)

Don't bother if you have leather seats or a minivan/SUVIt uses a giant safety pin (as well as a strap) to attach to the seatback. My car has a leather interior, and the last thing I wanted to do was poke holes in the leather! I tried just using the strap, but that is supposed to go around the headrest, and there is no headrest for the center of the backseat, just the right and left sides. Since the safest place for a baby is in the headrest-less center, the strap was out. There was also a velcro tape that we could use to stick the mirror onto the seatback. The negatives there were a) sticky glue residue on the leather and b) when we need to fold down the rear seat for transporting bikes or something equally large, the rear seat would fold precisely right down where the mirror would be, so we'd be constantly removing it and the velcro tape and then reattaching it. Highly impractical for any vehicle with a leather interior or with a rear seat that folds down in the middle. I suppose it's okay for a fabric-covered seat or for a small car that doesn't have fold-down rear seats, but for an SUV or minivan it's really not usable.
Scratches too easily!
A must for riding in the car with baby!Buy it... You'll not regret it....
P.S: For leather seats just use the velcro option... for fabric seats, pin Elmo in place!!!

List price: $79.99 (that's 13% off!)

Much better than I expected
not the best but okay....
2 years and still going strongGRACO has been great in our family.. Affordable and durable, We have all Graco products.

I did a lot of research and thought I had the right product. I don't have nor do I expect to unless someone cares enough to identify the product for specific uses. What a waste of my time and effort.

It's ok

PainThere is a velcro seat belt adjuster made by Axius available in the automative section of most department stores. It is must easier to adjust and I've had fewer problems with it. My niece no longer has red marks on her name from the seat belt and she's still safe and secure while we're driving.
Wish I could find another one.The only draw backs we found were the kids cannot buckle themselves with this product on. I buckle them and pull the adjuster into position and it stays there for the ride. The other draw back is in the heat of the summer, it is a little warm to have such a big part of their chest/stomache covered with an extra piece of material. It still beats complaints from red necks and unsafe riding from lap belts only.
son loves seat belt adjuster
