I was not sure about the tryke when I bought it. I acctually went for the look. This trike is so cute and so girly that I took my chances. My Husband put it together in no time. Our first ride was at the zoo. I was told that bykes were not aloud in the park, but my daughter, only 2 years 8 months, could not ride it yet. I told them that it was a stroll-cycle.
A little bit hard to manage as a stroller, specially on the curves.
My dauther's first ride was very exciting, she felt so proud of her new trike. We got a lot, I mean a lot of people's attention and compliments. I acutually think my Daughter makes the trike look incredible. HE HE..
If I was selling this trike, i would be making nice money. Many asked where I had bought it.
She loves her trike, it's a great excercise even tough she still does not push hard enough on the pedals, it's good for coordination. The canopi is cute and very helpfull. She does not seem to get tired on the seat. The pouch hanging in front it's great, she is a lot in to collecting whatever "treasure" .If I did not have a minivan, it would be hard to transport it. I don't really know how durable this trike is, since is practicaly new, but so far so good. I hope this was helpfull.

My daughter (2) loves this bike!!!! It's a great training bike and it's nice to take on long walks. It really makes her feel in control, yet when she gets tired I don't have to carry it home. It has the convenience of a stroller and it teaches her to ride on her own. The seat is cushy and the seat belt eases my worries about her falling off since she can't touch the ground yet. Great way to teach advanced gross motor skills (pedaling) at a young age!

My daughter loves her new bike. She just turned 1. This was the best gift she received for her birthday. She does not want to get off it. We take it to the park and to the mall! We push her all over the yard too.
This is a must have for little girls!

This is a dolly tricycle for the child to push the Little Mommy doll on. I try to keep my sister off it but she is 2 and she climbed on and could have been hurt. This is not for kids to ride on and if the earlier reviewer would have read about the product, they'd know.

My daughter got the pink & lavendar outfit Little Mommy dolls for Christmas & all of the Little Mommy accessories for her 3rd birthday. I was a little concerned about their durability due to some of the other reviews, but it's what she wanted so we got them. Now I am so glad we did!! Although they don't seem to be quite the quality we're used to seeing from Fisher Price, they are very sturdy & durable. You just have to make sure all the pieces snap into place while you're assembling it. My daughter has been playing with her little Mommy collection NON-STOP & we've not lost one piece or seen it wobble. This set is wonderful & my daughter has not tired of it at all!! It is great for building imagination & has turned my daughter into a great Little Mommy!!!

Our 20 month old son loves going for walks, but hates being in his stroller. The area we live in has no sidewalks and going for walks can make me a nervous wreck. The Little Mommy Tricycle is a great solution. Inexpensive, lightweight and durable, it allows him the freedom of being on his own, while the handle in the back lets me direct him away from anything dangerous. Plus, he loves the feeling of being on a bike like his older brother. Keep in mind, however, that it takes him/her a little while to get their bearings. Since their feet have to stay up, they have to learn balance a little bit. Take your time, and both you and your toddler will fall in love with this great little invention.

I just bought this bike for my 2 1/2 yr old son as his little red trike got stolen. He was devistated until we found this at the store. He would not get off it and has been riding it around the house since. He quickly learned exactly what each button does and can mimmick them. He has learned that they should be pushed in a certain order, first turn on the bike, then decided what the weather is, find out where you are going, turn on the music, use your turn signal and get ready to rock and roll. It was a little difficult to put together, I am a single mom and I need someone with a little more muscle power to get some of the screws to go into the plastic but all in all easy to follow. Not sure if it will last as long as a metel trike but I know he will have just as much fun if not more. One word to the wise the noises it makes are LOUD! I really suggest this be an outside toy.

I added wood blocks to the pedals and my two year old is grasping the concept. He rode this bike through the house all winter and is really enjoying it now that he can ride outside. he has a ball with the blinkers so he is using his turning signals. My son is fasinated with motorcycles so any bike related item is sure to be a hit.

I bought this for my 2 year-old grandson and he loves it. It assembled very easily and quickly. He loves to push the different buttons and listen to the variety of sounds. His feet don't quite reach the pedals yet, but he is still able to push himself around without his feet getting stuck or caught on the bike. The adjustable seat is a bonus too, because he won't outgrow it too fast.

This toy is priced higher than sensation beginnings... they offer the pushbar included with the overall purchase.

This trike not only is the best looking trike I have ever seen - it is the sturdiest!! And the features of this trike like the air tires and the ease of the seat adjustment is out standing!! True - you will pay three times as much for this trike over the Radio Flyer, but this trike won't rust up as fast and will last a life time longer than the Flyer. It is just the best trike you can own!!!

My 2yr old and 3 1/2 yr old love this trike! It well built and will last many years.The expandable frame will allow them many growing years of fun! My 3 1/2 yr old saids its heaver than his Kalypso trike but rides very smooth and he like the fact it can go backwards very easy. We let them ride on your deck and also in the house (only in a few areas). This trike rides over the deck without hardly making a sound and goes on carpet very easily. The 2 yr old loves the big seat and the way the pedals don't have to turn (free wheel action of the front tire) when she is being pushed around in it. They really love to take turns using our 2 trikes and this trike glides way better than any plastic wheel trike. The 3 1/2 year old saids this trike stays at our house forever and ever. And that saids it all!

MY GRANDSON RECIEVED THIS TRIKE ON HIS 2ND BIRTHDAY. MY DAUGHTER TRIED TO PUT IT TOGETHER AND GOT FRUSTRATED BECAUSE THE SCREWS WERE NOT FITTING PROPERLY. AFTER TOTAL FRUSTRATION SHE LEFT IT FOR HER FATHER. HE SPENT 4 HRS WITH IT AND DECIDED HE WOULD FINISH UP ON IT THE NEXT DAY. MY 4 YEAR OLD GRANDSON AND THE 2 YEAR OLD PUT ALL THE PIECES TOGETHER AND THEY WERE PLAYING WITH IT AND HAVING A BALL WHEN I TOLD THEM THAT PAPA WOULD MAKE IT SECURE FOR THEM SO THEY COULD PLAY SAFELY THEY WERE FINE WITH IT SO THEY TOOK IT APART AND JUST PLAYED WITH THE HANDLEBARS AND HAD A BALL WITH THE SOUND AFFECTS. I THINK THIS IS AN EXCELLENT TOY FOR BOTH OF THEM UNFORTUNATELY I THINK WE GOT ONE THAT CAME WITH FACTORY DEFECTS THANK GOODNESS MY HUSBAND IS GOOD WITH CHILDRENS TOYS AND FIXING THEM HE HAD TO RENFORCE THE SEAT THE FRONT AND THE BACK WHEELS HAD TO BE SECURED ALSO BECAUSE EVERYTIME THEY SAT ON IT OR IF YOU PUT IT ON THE GROUND IT FELL APART IN PIECES. I AM NOT GOING TO RATE THIS AS POOR BECAUSE MY GRAND BABIES LOVE IT, EVEN WHILE THEY WERE WAITING FOR IT TO BE PUT TOGETHER

We purchased this toy for my son's 2nd birthday, and he can't get enough of it! His legs aren't quite long enough to be able to pedal, but he moves it with his feet with no problems.

The sound effects are quite clear, and I have even heard him singing along a few times. His older brother is really sad that he is too big for the trike!

Assembly was a snap - my husband had it together in 20 minutes or so.

This is perfect for my 3 year old. He just adores it. We were worried about him not being able to peddal but he scoots around on it easy because there is plenty of room and the peddals dont get in the way. Easily put together with no problems at all. A definiate must have!
Very seldom does my little boy want the same toy everyday but this one he does.

I bought my daughter (21 mths old) a bike with training wheels that said for ages 18 mths - 3 yrs however she can barely reach the ground and can not reach the pedals. I took her with me for another bike and found this one. It is durable and she LOVES IT! I love to see her little face so happy. She can also get on and off by herself which is another plus. I would highly recommend this bike for toddlers and it is good until age 5!

We puchased this trike for our daughter for her 2nd birthday.It was an immeadiate hit. This trike has NEVER tipped over, even with "lead foot" behind the wheel. She was leary of trikes because of riding others that tip when you turn too sharply. This has a little stop that keeps the handlebars from spinning all the way around, so no tipping. She's now 4 years old and still likes to ride it. She's getting a little too big for it now, but loves that she can go "really fast",unlike her new "big girl" bike. It seems a little pricey, but if you have more than one child, it will definately hold up for a few more kids.

I read all of the other reviews before I purchased the Supertrike for my 3 year old son. It is sturdier than I expected. It looks good and my son loves it. An excellent choice for a first trike.

This is the second tricycle that I have bought so that my two nephews will no longer fight about who gets to ride. The construction is very sturdy and durable. The handle bars are strong and directly attached to the wheel making it unlikely to move unlike other tricycle handles which are just bolted on to the mainframe.
The bucket seat allows the child to push with their backs and legs to pedal with more ease than a regular up-down motion that many 2-3 year olds cannot do. The wider wheel base as well a wider frame at the back 2 wheels provide a stronger center of gravity making this tricycle less likely to tip over with sharp turns. As a medical professional who deals with the pediatric population, I would highly recommend this tricycle for all first timers.

I drove to toysRus to see one and they did not have any. So I ordered it and it arrived on time. I took this to Russia for a friend's little girl. I was so happy it made it undamaged and passed through customs without a problem. It is well made and assembled easily. The little girl is 4 years old and about 40in tall and she fit fine with the seat not all the way back. I would say she could grow to 50in and still be able to ride. Because I had read a review that said an adult rode it. I climbed on and rode around. It did not seem to flex at all with 150lbs on it. I would not say thats a good idea, but I looked like the guy from Rowan and Martin's laugh in on it. Very nice trike...It is better designed with the high handle bars and the big plastic tires grip well and seemed very stable. If you are reading the reviews, which is what made me buy it...I would buy it, you will not be disapointed.

I about choked when I saw the price of this trike especially after you pay $40+ to ship it. After I read all the reviews I decided it would be worth buying one trike that will adjust for 5 or 6 years of use rather than continuting to replace them. It is so sturdy I'm sure it will still be around for the grandkids! My 16 month old is still too short to even try to pedal but, to my surprise, the push bar was included! We are already having fun with it and all the good things everyone else is saying about it; dito!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. The air tires and ball-bearing wheels provide an excellent ride. The push bar and locking front steering column along with the free-wheel option makes this an excellent stroller replacement for the zoo vehicle. Your ability to deflate the tires slightly to slow down your child is something else that helps parents out. My son is 1.5 years old and absolutely loves this item! I'll be ordering another one for my daughter when she arrives in 6 months.

Another Christmas present. My daughter is 2 so I thought this would be a perfect first trike. My daughter is really tall but she still couldn't reach the pedals. She still likes to ride it but gets frusterated after trying to pedal for a while. The flip up seat is a plus because she like to put things inside but it could've been made more durable, it always comes off and she gets mad because it won't stay on, so I am constantly trying to snap it back in place. Overall it's not a bad buy, although I like the trikes with rubber wheels rather than plastic wheels because they just ride better. By the summer I'm sure she will like it much better however I recommend getting the trikes with the adjustable seat rather than this one, that way the can enjoy it right from the start.

I bought this trike for my daughter her first Christmas.At first she didn't know how to pedal so she would push with her feet.When she got the hang of it she was off to never land.Her brother is 7 and rides his bike,and she rides by him with this trike.It's very cute.I like how durable it is,she's been very rough on it and it's still kicking or should I say riding.I would recommend to any little girl,and of course,one like it for any boy.The seat lifts up so you can store your doll,teasures.So Off to never land with peter pan she goes.

WE picked this up for our 2 year old. He watches the other kids in the neighborhood play with bikes and wants one too. The traditional tricycles were too big and $100 more. He loves this toy, we fold it for storage, or to travel to Grandma's. It's very durable (we even have dropped it a few times) And our son is short for his age and he can reach the peddle- good price good buy.

My daugther was 2 years old when we bought her this and she is very petite. This bike is perfect for the little ones! She was able to reach the pedals right away and the steering is very easy. Plus the horn is a little addon bonus that is easy to push and makes a lot of noise. Other bikes we looked at were too big and the horns did not work! This is an excellent buy and well worth the money.

I bought this trike for my son for Christmas when he was 20 months old. I knew I wanted to get him a trike and this was the smallest one I found. My son is small for his age and cannot reach the pedals well enough to manipulate the trike yet. BUT he still loves it. First, he just loves the fact that he has his very own "bike". He gets on it and just pushes around with his feet for now. The horn is cute and is easy for him to "honk" although he doesn't pay much attention to it. Another aspect of the bike that he loves is the bucket in the back. He enjoys putting some of his favorite small toys in there and riding them around with him. He will probably be 2-1/2 yrs. old before being big enough to actually ride it. Regardless, he loves it and so do I. Folding it up is easy and makes it so convenient to throw in the car to take somewhere with you. It is a sturdy toy with metal parts.

We have a hard wood floor in our living room and for now we allow him to ride it in the house since he can only scoot around on it. The folding-up feature is really nice because I have some young relatives who like to ride his toys around but are really too big to use them. So, when they come over I just fold it up and they are unable to ride it.
