5 Star Review! As a teacher and a grandmother, I am always looking for that particular toy that will be educational as well as entertaining. In my teacher/grandma role, there is a fine line between buying something that "looks" educational and something that is a "toy." LEGO products have always met the goals I am looking for. This particular product is something that will grow with the child and give them many hours of building enjoyment. Believe it or not, parents, there is plenty of logic and math concepts in this product. I use LEGOS in my math lab to teach all math concepts from basic addition and subtraction to fractions. The kids think they are having a free day when we use the LEGOs. (In their eyes, if we don't use a book, we are not doing math.) Little do they realize just how much math and logic they are really getting.

Playmobil Deli and Produce DepartmentThis is a wonderful item. I got it to use with my preschool class when we study community helpers. It does have tiny parts which can get lost. I have never had trouble with the pieces breaking just getting lost. Even though they are small the children LOVE them and they do help with fine motor skills.

Kids will spend hours building life-size castles and fortresses with this sturdy cardboard block set. Included are 32 blocks: six large red "brick" blocks, six medium-size yellow blocks, six small blue blocks, four drawbridges, four arches, and six turrets. This set is terrific for hours of imaginative play, and it can be used with other Imagiplay blocks to build large, life-size structures. Parents can use the castle structure to spark imaginative pretend play (who doesn't want to be a prince or princess); they can also encourage mathematical skills by helping kids discover that one large red block is the same size as two medium yellow blocks or four small blue blocks. Imagiplay blocks also enable children to explore and discover how they can control their environment and manipulate the objects within it. Made from 50 percent recycled cardboard and printed with nontoxic inks, the blocks have a smooth, water-resistant coating so they can be wiped clean. --Lauren Bernard, mother and elementary school teacher

My kids love these blocks! My 3 year-old and my 6 year-old love these blocks. They build castles and then knock them down. The blocks hold up fairly well, you just can't jump up and down on them. We've had ours for almost a year and my kids still play with them all the time.

Very fun and easy to put togetherThese toys are great! Their tops are great and can spin for about 1 minute. The instructions messed up the colors of the different pieces but it's easy once you know the different colors of different pieces. If you have all four you can build an arena for the tops to fight in. Whacth out! The tops can hurt you when they are spinning. It doesn't cut you but it does sting. These toys are also cool because they can turn into vehicles that are sleak and easy to build. I recomend this toy for people who like the similar product of legos. These aren't as good as legos but they still stay together. All in all , this is a good buy. I'd recomend it for children 7+. Thank you for reading this reveiw.

Dragons WHOOOO HOOOO!All right!! My family LOVES this part of the set - we have almost the entire collection (Glow in the dark Pirate stuff we haven't found yet) and this is one of our favorite additions.
We have girls (3) and boys (3) aged from 3 to 37 years. (Mom and Dad play too!) Our toddler loves the dragon, our 2nd grader loves the stone dragon, our 'tweens' love the pieces that add more details (nice rock formations), and Mom & Dad love that everybody can play.
This stuff is sturdy, can be taken apart and made again or combined with the other castle pieces to make a bigger castle or in our case four different battle stations!

A break-out wall!!!We are really excited about this addition to the set - the castle itself has some nice design points like the stairs to the trap door, the claw on the string to grab people (Use your imagination heavily with this, it doesn't wind to pull back), the codor/eagle that shoots, and the BREAK OUT DOOR! Our two older kids, 10 & 11, had to 'discuss' who would get the important door feature, really a favorite for our archtects. Our toddler likes using the bird to fire at stacks of the guys like target practice and the 2nd grader likes to put the leftovers with other pieces to make different looking castles. The blue stonework for the new stuff is a really nice touch.
We are medievil fans and LOVE this stuff - HUZZAH!!

Lego Bionicle Rahkshi Kurahk (8588)

Whatever you do, do not invite Kurahk to your next dinner party. And if he does show up, make sure he leaves his special staff at the door. Because whomever he strikes with that staff is instantly consumed with overpowering feelings of rage, and that, needless to say, can make things awkward at social gatherings. Kurahk is one of the Rahkshi who, in the mythology of the LEGO Bionicle series, are gathered together to capture the Mask of Light and prevent the coming of the Seventh Toa. Since he's a toy, and since the enclosed instruction booklet is so easy to follow, it's unlikely that anyone will be consumed with rage when fitting together the 45 pieces that form Kurahk. --Charlie Williams

Bionicle Rahkshi KuurahkKuurahk is the only Rahkshi I have. I got him for Christmas before 2004 started. His staff features are cool.
In the future (Maybe after the Toa Metru and the Vahki) they should make like a Rahkshi-Kal or something with legs that move with the twist of a gear or something just a little more advanced besides just moving the arms back and forth or up and down so as they look like they're walking down the sidewalk.
I hope you agree with me. All in all what I say about the Rahkshi is.....
