XP-5 Spy Wallet
Made by Wild Planet
Age Group: 8 - 12 years
    Amazon base price: $9.99
Sure it's a wallet--if a mere civilian is looking at it. In actuality though, it's a juvenile spy-equipment-storage-unit. It only holds money and photos to throw off John Q. Public. Inside the flexible plastic wallet are sleekly designed snoop tools: a flip-up magnifier with cool green lenses, a micro-flashlight, a coin holder, and a secret voice recorder that fits into a discreet, front compartment. Everything is fairly low-tech, however. The voice recorder holds about nine seconds of tinny yet recognizable sound, and the flashlight emits at about the same magnitude as a penlight. Grown-ups supply five, button-cell batteries (combined) to make these two items work; kids supply the imagination. --Diane Beall

    xp-5 spy wallet
This is a little handy item! it stores the magnifing scope, that attaches to the coin holder, that attaches to the flashlight! it also has a sadly cheap recorder that has a secret compartment and see through vinly button slots that allow you to push the recorders buttons for conveitnt es-dropping! it also holds cards and money. this is cool!

    get it!!!!!!!!
this is great you have to get it.
Just think of a "normal" wallet

that can hold a flastlight that's VERY bright, a cool flip up scope, voice recorder, ruler, coin holder(not that great), and magnifier. It holds money but not enough space to hold more than two cards. But it is overall in its real purpose,i.e. to spy, it is GREAT. Get it. Get it. Get it. I said get it.
Isaid it six times so you know it's not a typo. Get it. Seven times

    Triumph Stroller in Navy

      I absolutly love this stroller!!!
I just recently bought this stroller for my 6 month old son.I was trying to find a smaller stroller to replace my huge travel stroller. After buying three strollers and returning all three, because they were all to big and bulky or too small or felt like they were going to fall apart with my 18 pound son. I am so glad i found this stroller. At first I was upset that it didnt have a cup holder but I bought one at babies r us for just $6. And felt very sturdy with my son and all his movement. This is a great buy and I would recemend it to anyone I know!!!

GREAT stroller - well worth the price!
We bought this stroller after having & using a large stroller and a little umbrella stroller. We decided on the Triumph instead of the Volo Maclaren because the Triumph comes with the raincover, sun-hood, and shopping bag - it's extra with the Volo. We've used the Triumph a few times already and love it! Our 26 pound 23 month old loves it too. Today, he napped in it while we walked around a mall. The 5 point harness is wonderful. The bag is small but fits our diaper bag - too bad it doesn't fit my purse too! I wish it had a cup holder for me but am looking for an attachment to fix this problem. Buy this stroller if you want a lightweight, compact, comfortable, easy-pushing, stroller with a carry strap! Yes it costs a LOT but it is worth it!

      Great Stroller
I have had this stroller for about three months and it has worked out great for our family. We had originally purchased a Chicco Caddy, but had to return it after a bolt fell out, it was a tire kicker too. We did a lot of research before purchasing this stroller and it had gotten excellent reviews. Rightly so, this stroller is great ... folds easily, washes up nicely, lightweight, handles well, and is sturdy (the caddy always felt a little wobbly). My daughter is squirmy so the 5 point harness was a requirement for us. She is very comfortable in this stroller.

Roundabout Convertible LATCH Car Seat in Denim
Made by Britax Child Safety Inc.
        Amazon base price: $229.99
Combining outstanding safety features with a comfortable ride is no easy task in designing a car seat. Adding style to that mix is more difficult still. Happily, the Roundabout puts all those elements together to create what could be the perfect seat for kids up to 40 pounds. It's equipped with a 5-point harness and while it can be easily installed in any back seat, it is also outfitted for use with the LATCH system of car seat anchorage. As for comfort, picture a car seat combined with a teddy bear and you'll have a pretty good idea what the Roundabout feels like. Soft denim padded fabric and straps that hold firmly while being gentle on the child. We were also impressed with the seat's versatility. It adapts to different sized kids, the restraints snapped into place easily and the unit was simple to install and move. Another nice touch was the highly detailed instruction book, which clearly shows how to install the seat forward, backward, or even in airline seats. --John Moe

but also check out the britax marathon
My son who is now three outgrew his infant seat at 3 months. This did not come with latch three years ago, but is absolutely fantastic. I used with the top tether always in my lexus truck, and used it rear facing until he was a year old. It never budged once installed, and now I am buying a britax husky to take him to 80 lbs. In retrospect, had it been available then, I would have picked the marathon which goes to 65 lbs, and I could have just switched to a lightweight booster at that point. It is still really nice to have a small, light, and portable infant car seat for the first few months, when you don't want to disturb baby every time you pop her in and out of the car. So you might want to buy the marathon when baby is 6 months or heavy enough you won't be carrying around a car seat with baby strapped in it :-) And depending on the state you live in, the marathon might be the last car seat you ever buy.

And Britax makes the absolute best car seats you can buy -- my son has always been comfortable, and he always loved the britax galaxy infant seat over the evenflo i had for my husbands car.
He has been doing great in the roundabout the last three years too.

To make one more comparison, the Husky which goes 22 to 80 lbs is really only for an over 1 year old since it does not install rear facing. It is also an enormous and heavy seat which works fine in my truck, but seems a bit big for the Audi A4. So I would still choose the Marathon over the Husky if we were to have another child since it is sized similar to the Roundabout yet takes you to 65 lbs. If you don't have latch, absolutely choose Britax, since it is the safest seat out there and installs just as firm with the top tether as any seat with latch does!

BEST CAR SEAT WORTH THE MONEY!!
This is an awesome car seat. It is nicely padded and the latch system is great and very easy to use. My son has used it for 2 years now and even though it only goes to 40 pounds it was worth every penny. I hope the britax booster seat is just as wonderful.

Very easy to install; Worth the money
I just installed my daughter's car seat today. I was surprised to find that is was quite easy to install. She loves it and I feel very confident that she is safe in it. We bought 2 Roundabouts for our SUVs. It was rather pricey, but well worth the cost. We highly recommend this seat.

          building imagination
My son has had this for a year and plays with it all the time. His imagination has really developed while playing with these. The creations he comes up with make him and us very proud. I think any kid boy or girl would benefit by playing with k'nex.

          Had before
I remember I had this when I was about 12 and I am 18 now. I see the newer models out and think they're a waste because you could just buy this 400 piece set that has detailed instructions. I easily made many amusement park rides with this. Plus, it doesn't limit the kid's imagination. It's a great value.

Pack 'N Play - Colby Print
          Made by Graco
            Amazon base price: $139.99
Perfect for naptime, playtime, or just "give Mom and Dad a break" time, this highly involved playard has what it takes to delight little ones. It features a thick, quilted pad for baby to roll around on and a mobile of smiling teddy bear faces to add a delightful distraction. But what makes this pack n' play different is the floorshow: it sports electronic lights, musical sounds, and even a vibration option. It collapses fairly easily but because there are so many special features it does end up being somewhat heavy so it's best used around the house rather than loaded up for heavy traveling. A detachable changing table with belt strap is also included to make this a full-service playard. --Charlie Williams

We LOVE this! It's worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!!
We love this play yard! It was a great investment. My baby loves the vibration and the nature sounds. I love the bassinet, the changing table and diaper storage. We use this daily for naps. I love that the bassinet is the same size as the play yard. It gives baby lots of room to stretch and move. We do about 98% of our diaper changes on the changing table!

Too bad the bassinet only goes up to 15 pounds. My 2 1/2 month old will probably be too heavy for it within the next week. I could also live without the canopy. They toys do not grab baby's attention. I used my Link A Doos and attached more interesting toys to the canopy.

You will not regret investing in this play yard. It has everything you will want or need!

Great purchase for mommies who want to be organized
When I registered for this pack and play, I did not think about any other feature except for the diaper stacker, wipe holder, and baskets attached to the changing table portion of this product. Recently I traveled out of state with my four month old and my choices were to sleep with her or take the playpen to use as a crib. This thing packs up and travels beautifully. I use it primarily as a changing station on the main floor of our house, but I now love the ease in which I can take it with me. It is worth its weight in gold for the convenience it provides for me. I have never used the bassinet function as I have always had my daughter sleep in her crib, but I have used the heck out of the changing table. She is now 5 months old and 13 pounds, so we are coming to the end of the changing table, but my step sons play baseball and it will be perfect to haul to the ball park!

            saved us & our baby
Our baby came 2 weeks early and the bassinet we were planning to use was still en route to our home. My husband ran out to get something for our baby to sleep in and came home with this. It is perfect! The nightlight & diaper station have saved us from crashing and fumbling through late night events. It also keeps everything in our bedroom, so changing and checks go quickly and quietly.

The best Sonic game for Game Gear
I've had this game for several years now(since 1993 LOL) and I must say it's one of my favorite Game Gear games. I liked it because it was the first Sonic game for Game Gear that let you play as either Sonic or Tails. The 16-bit graphics still impress me even today especially when compared to 8-bit GB and GBC games. It looks and plays better than the earlier Sonic games(1 and 2)but doesn't quite look as good as Sonic Triple Trouble(1994). If you like Sonic games, this game is a must-have.

            This game is AWSOME
This game rules!!!! You can be sonic or tails. With sonic you can grab Rocket Shoes and Pogo Springs. With tails you can fly. As usual Dr.Robotnik up to his old trix by trying to get the 7 chaos emeralds and you have to stop him. This game has good graphics and sound. Its very fun. Its not hard but its not easy its in between. This was the first game I got for gamegear and I spent hours and hours playing this game even when I beat it with both sonic and tails it is tones of fun even after beating it. If u have a game gear I advise you to bye this game as soon as possible.

            awesome
this game is awesome I just started playing and it's so cool on a scale of 1-5 it's a 20 the graphics are even better than game boy advance( which I used to have but gave to my little brother, and I'm not dissapointed with the game gear at all.)so this game is mad cool. buy it itll exceed your expectations 10 times.

            Metal Gear Solid
            Made by Konami
Age Group: 5 years and up
              Amazon base price: $3.68
              List price: $29.99 (that's 88% off!)
              Used price: $17.89
Attention, Metal Gear fans: larger-than-life action hero Solid Snake has been shrunk and now dwells inside your Game Boy Color. If you've always wanted to live the life of a secret agent while on the go with your GBC, Metal Gear Solid is the game to own.

Anyone familiar with the PlayStation title of the same name (or the older Metal Gear game for the original Nintendo Entertainment System) will be familiar with the gameplay. You are Solid Snake and must rely more on stealth than brute force to sneak through a variety of enemy-infested levels. The bad guys (and security cameras) have a limited cone of vision, and savvy players will stay out of the detection zone so they can save their strength for the real challenges that wait near the end of each level. Controls are simple but effective. You can lay prone (a good way to disappear into mud or tall grass), press up against walls, and easily access an inventory screen to equip and use items. You'll find a plethora of weapons along the way, perfect for those moments when stealth alone just isn't going to cut it.

The graphics are great, but it's the spot-on accurate control that makes this game truly shine. Players are free to practice in nearly 200 fun VR missions or can simply jump into the real thing: a 13-level campaign, complete with cut scenes. Konami packed an amazing amount of excitement into this little cartridge, making it a title no Game Boy Color owner will want to miss. --T. Byrl Baker

              Pros:

              • Nice graphics and animation for a GBC game
              • Much of the gameplay of the PlayStation hit compressed into a handheld format
              Cons:
              • Sometimes the screen just isn't big enough to make the game fair
              Average review score:

Astounding, I can't believe my eyes
With the blockbuster success of Metal Gear Solid for the PS1, Konami decided to make the game portable for Nintendo's 8-bit GameBoy Color, and while many specualtions over the quality of the game were not very good at all, every GBC owner on the planet was shocked when this was released. For being an 8-bit system, the graphics and sound are simply astounding, and the controls are exact and dead on. Stealth is still the name of the game and you'll have to dodge guards and security cameras to complete your mission, plus VR missions and cut scenes are here as well, making this game play so unbelieveably close to it's PS1 counterpart that many a gamer will be left in awe when they see it in action. The storyline is a prequel to the PS1 game that would set up the events that take place in that game, and while it may start out as a run of the mill story, it quickly picks up and by the time you finish the game you'll be catching your breathe. All in all, Metal Gear Solid is essential to action fans and GBC owners everywhere.

I'm a Game Freak Boy and just got Metal Gear Solid
I just ordered Metal Gear Solid a day ago and it KICKS BUTT. So far I'm at the forth stage and its been really fun. The game has all the guns from the Playstation version and has way cool graphics, sound, and gameplay. The sounds are just like midi form. Oh Have I said the VR missions KICK BUTT too. The reason why I say this is because it has 180 missions with weopons or sneeking or both. I also ordered another game so I can play VS Battle Mode and It Kicks Butt too. I would say this game is #1 for my gameboy It could also be yours So BuY It ToDaY!

              A GBC Masterpiece
Metal Gear Solid on the Gameboy Color is perhaps one of the most innovative the 8-bit handheld had. The game was released a few years ago but this is NOT a re-release of the PSX classic. Actually it only bears the same name. The plot and characters aren't connected to the playstation version in anyway.

Metal Gear Solid makes good use of the GBC's colors. This game is more colorful than a rainbow and the colors are vivid and bright (especially if you play it on a GBA SP). The graphics are also put to good use. It's a reminder of the graphics presented in the first Metal Gear game only you can now move in eight directions as opposed to four and most guards and such look clearer. But you'll definitely notice resemblence.

The game sounds pretty good for an 8 bit game. The music can get annoying at times but it clearly sets up the tone of the game (sneaking).

The game adopts the gameplay from the Playstation version. There is a sneak mode, alert mode and evasion mode. Sneak mode is simply that you just run from point to point without worrying about anything. As with the PSX version you have a radar in the corner of your screen. The radar isn't as detailed but it'll help you stay out of sight. Alert Mode happens if you're discovered by the enemy and so you must run away. Much like in the PSX version there's a countdown in the corner that covers the radar. When you successfully escape the enemy you go into Evasion Mode where you must hide and the enemy will stop chasing you and begin searching for you. Picture evasion mode like a game of hide and seek.

Metal Gear is known for its storytelling and MGS on the GBC is no exception. The game has several plot twist and such but that's just it. The game is full of TONS of twist. The story is great but the way the story is presented to the gamer is not to pleasing. The original playstation version had cinemas to make the storyline more interactive. The GBC has LONG LONG LONG cutscenes of Snake exchaning words with others. This wouldn't be so bad if the cutscenes weren't so long of just two people standing there. The Codec I didn't mind and it showcases more of just how well the graphics of the game are. But even codec conversations get long. If you're really into the story then you probably won't be falling asleep anytime soon.

As far as Extras go this game has a lot of them. Well, there is one HUGE extra. This would be the VR training. Many of the missions come from the PSX game "Metal Gear Solid VR: Missions" and the original MGS game but on the GBC they can be quite challenging. There are over 150 missions but most of them are repeats of earlier missions... only with a twist such as maybe a time limit or you're supposed to eliminate all the guards. Still, the VR missions will keep you busy for a while.

The other extra is after you complete the game once you get a new difficulty level (Very Hard mode). Difficulty levels in this game are NO joke. Unlike the PSX version there are more changes than just guards with wider range of vision. The most noticeable is there are MORE guards than you could possibly imagine on Very Hard mode.

Perhaps what I disliked most about MGS on the GBC was that it didn't have the power to make you love the characters. Many of them are stale without being able to see some emotion. That and some of the supporting characters play no real role in the game they're just there to take up space and carry on long conversations.

Overall though, for the GBC Metal Gear Solid is by far one of the best you could get.

              The Good
              +Excellent graphics
              +Great Storytelling
              +Great Gameplay
              +Fun VR Missions

              The Bad
              +LONG LONG LONG Cutscenes
+Supporting characters lack developement and chemistry

Good play yard but needs more.
I love this play yard. We have four children so we are always lugging heavy strollers and diaper bags with us when we go places. It's nice to finally have a play yard that our children are safe in, easy to set up and put away, and light to carry. The sun shade is a god send, and it is so easy to put on and off. We spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer and this has made our time outside even more enjoyable. There are two things that bother me about the play yard.
1.) The pad on the floor of the play yard can't be removed to wash it. This makes it difficult to clean off spilled juice or milk.
2.) Our youngest son uses this for his naps when we are out and about, and the padding leaves something to be desired. I found myself making a pad that I can take out to wash and that adds a little more softness. It's a shame that Graco didn't make another pad that you can buy as an accessory.

too big for a play yard
I have a regular graco play yard but my 19 month old son is over the weight limit so I bought this play yard. I needed somewhere for him to sleep and play on our vacation that was easy to travel with. I love, love, love this play yard. It's very easy to carry and set up is quick. The only problem that I found was that is doesn't come with a padded bottom like the other play yards and therefore was not good for sleep. So, I bought an egg crate, cut it into three layers to fit the bottom and placed a fitted sheet over them. Works great now. Would recommend this to anyone for travel and for home use. My 4 yr old daughter loves to play in it with my son. They pretend it's a tent and they're camping in the jungle. Great for the beach and anywhere outside you need it.

                This is great!
I purchased this item to take to the beach for my 9 month old. It was great on the beach and easy to clean (we vacuumed out the sand) once we got back. She slept in it that night. Once we returned home, it served as a playpen upstairs. She spends tons of time playing with her toys in here because it's nice and roomy. Easy to set up and take down, it gets moved to the porch, garden, yard...anywhere I want her to have freedom to move around, but to also be safe. Great product!

                Quest Stroller in Denim Check

                  Great stroller but....
I bought this stroller when my daughter was 5 months old. We have taken it on two trips already and it is a great lightweight stroller. It handles great in the airport. My only complaint is that it is difficult to open the stroller. When I step down on the opening piece I find it very slippery. It takes me a few times to get it open. Definately can't do this while holding the baby. For the money spent on this stroller I'm disappoint that it is so difficult to open.

                  Great lightweight stroller.
I found dealing with a stroller that won't turn frustrating. The Quest steers like a dream. You can steer this stroller with one hand! It's light and easy to fold, even while holding my baby. There's no real difference in performance even with my 3yr old in it. The harness is alittle stiff so I bought strap covers for it. The canopy is a bit flimsy and doesn't sheild the sun very well. But I can alway use a blanket for the extra coverage. I was debating between the Quest and the Maclaren Triumph. I decided on the Quest despite the difference in price (Triumph is $60 less)because the seat pad is removable for washing, the seat reclines further, and there's a little more padding in the seat. I purchased an organizer that holds drinks and things from Maclaren for $20 that straps to the handles. Overall, I highly recommend this product, especially if you're looking for something lightweight and easy to use.

                  Perfect city stroller
I can't recommend this stroller highly enough. Lightweight, easy to fold and unfold with one hand while carrying baby, extremely maneuverable. Perfect city stroller - goes well on public transportation (I hear the Pegs don't). Baby loves being in it, and husband doesn't mind being seen pushing it, I think 'cause it looks a little sportier than the average stroller!

My only comments are that the shopping basket underneath is virtually useless, especially if you've got the seat reclined, so if you need a lot of space for toting stuff better look elsewhere. And because of the two-handle design it can be a little difficult to steer when you've got one hand occupied with, for instance, an umbrella. Also, contrary to what others have written here, I have had a lousy experience with Maclaren customer service, but over an accessory I tried to purchase from their web site, not over a problem with the stroller.

                    You're going to want one!
We love our Floppy Seat! No complicated straps, lots of thick padding, a pocket for toys or snacks--ours gets used almost every day. It washes easily without becoming misshapen, has a seatbelt for safety, and makes hot/cold metal shopping carts a thing of the past. Here in So. California, it's easy for baby to get burned on the sun-heated metal. Floppy seat can also be used to make those wooden restaurant highchairs fit better and more comfortably. Our son is almost 2, and this product has been used regularly for well over a year now. It is true that we do get lots of inquiries about where to buy one! Now all I want is one that will seat two babies in a double cart seat... we have another baby due in two months.

                    Absolutely the Best!
This is the one thing every new parent should have! My family and friends thought I was crazy and paranoid of germs! Maybe I am! But now they have come to see that the floppy seat is the best! I buy them now for every baby shower and everyone loves them! My floppy seat goes everywhere and fits into every shopping cart and high chair I've tried! And the best part is it's washable! Other friends of mine have tried the other shopping cart covers and they wish they had just spent the extra money for the floppy seat. Definately worth the money!!!!Everytime I use it, someone always comments on it. They think I made it--I wish! My son just loves the colorful shapes too and he doesn't get yelled at for chewing on the strap sometimes (He's the only one chewing on it and I can always wash it!!). Definately the best thing to have for small kids.

                    WONDERFUL product!
My husband and I searched everywhere for a seat cover, but we couldn't find anything that offered as much coverage, and comfort, as the Floppy Seat. We are SO pleased with it, we use it every time we go shopping and anytime our daughter needs to sit in a high chair when we're out. It even fits on the larger carts at the huge discount stores. Our daughter is comfortable, happy, and she's not touching anything that anyone else has put their hands on! When it is used in a grocery cart, the Floppy Seat covers every part of the seat -- including where we parents are pushing the cart! It is easy to put on and take off, and the fact that it converts to its own storage bag is great too!

No matter where we go, we are always asked where we purchased this, and we are happy to tell each and every parent, grandparent, whoever it is that's asking! I've even waited patiently while another shopper or diner has gotten out pen and paper to write down what it's called and where we got it from!

I debated giving the Floppy Seat 4 stars because I do think it's kind of pricey, however I have to say that I think it's worth every penny! I am so thankful for this product and am so happy that we purchased it!
