When The Simpsons first aired over 12 years ago, there was the rush of products in stores. Unfortunately, these products were often poor in quality (some of the Lisa dolls from that era look horrible!) Today though, Fox is more careful about who it grants licenses to produce Simpsons products. These Simpsons interactive figures from Playmates are very well detailed. Lisa's Sunday dress looks just like the one she wears on the show. I bought her to try to dress up my otherwise drab dorm room. I have read however, that Sunday Lisa says exactly the same quotes as regular Lisa in this series (regular Lisa is no longer in production and is now a bit of a collectible.) I recommend you look for your favorite Simpsons character in this series from Playmates.

Once again, Playmates has outdone themselves. Lisa comes with a removable pink Easter bonnet that matches her pink Easter dress. She also comes with a chocolate bunny and a collection plate from the church. In addition to the paper money in the plate, there is a 50-cents-off coupon that has been placed there by Homer.

Any Simpsons fan will go ga-ga over the detail in these action figures.

A couple years ago I purchased this set. I have been a big Marvel fan for a long time and always purchase the best figures for my growing collection. Let me warn you. There are two types of these going out. One is the Toy Biz set, and these are the quality ones that stay together. But there is also the one I mistakingly bought, the bootleg set. These ones fall apart the day you buy them. So look in the bottom right hand corner for the Toy Biz symbol to make sure it was made by them, and if the word "control" is mispelled return it immediatley. I give it 5 stars because when I finally got my hands on the Toy Biz ones I couldn't put them down. When I finally placed them back on the shelf among my growing congregation of figures, I took them down 10 minutes later. Great collectables, not too educational, but if you buy the real set, it lasts much longer even if you have a descructive 3 year old.
Now, how these things work. You stick a figure's foot onto one of the controllers. After you have a figure on each one you're ready to fight. Press the buttons to kick, punch, and even launch little red missiles from the base of the controller. The controls are very easy to configure. Once you land a hit on your opponent's chest, the figure will fall into a bowing position. That means he is KO'd and you are the winner. Very fun set. Buy it today for the Marvel maniac in the family. YOU WON'T BE SORRY!

The Spider-Man Heavy Hitters set has toys of Marvel superheroes and villians such as Spider-Man, Wolverine(The Heroes), Venom,& Carnage(The Villians). Here's how the toy works, you put the figures on these controllers to control them for kicking and punching. The toy that hits the action figures on the Strike Zone wins. But there's one thing that you have to look out for, there is a Spider-Man Heavy Hitters set made from Toy Biz, but there's a bootleg set too, to make sure that you have the real one, look on the right corner of the box to see if yours is made from Toy Biz. Another way to tell if yours is real is, the word "control" would be spelled right. (P.S, I want this toy!)...

I've been wanting a Jabba toy for some time and this one almost meets my expectations. Jabba is about 8 inches long and 3 1/2 inches high. I would have liked him to be a bit larger since he such an emense character, but the amount of detailing mostly makes up for that. Jabba is appropriately covered in wrinkels and sports a multi colored paint job. The blending isn't perfect when viewed up close but from a short distance he's very life-like. Only Jabbas torso and arms are articulated wich give him limited posability, but we are talking about a slug character here.

Included with the figure is a stand that holds his pipe (with a flexible mouthpiece) and a fish bowl that includes a rabbit/frog like creature. Jabba comes holding the creature (by way of a clear rubber band) but you can store the little guy in the bottom of the pipe to keep him fresh for snacktime.

Although there is room for improvement with this Jabba figure (a bit more care in the painting, the ability to hide that gross tongue and an articulted tail would have been nice), there's no denying that he looks pretty cool amongst my other Star Wars collectibles. If you're a Jabba fan this is a no-brainer.

This piece is extremely detailed. This is much more detailed than the on released to tie in with "The Retun of the Jedi" in the 80's. I only wish that Hasbro had inclded the cushioned throne with this figure likr the Kenner version. A very beautiful piece! I also got the "R2-D2 (Jabba's Sail barge)" and "Luke Skywalker (Jabba's Palace)" to go with this. Its really cool people.

To celebrate the looong awaited release of the "Star Wars" Trilogy on DVD (9/21 release date), Hasbro decided to release a special set of 12 retro-figures, divided into 3 sets of 4, each representing a film from the Trilogy.

Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi is one of the figures from the "Star Wars" set and comes with a new sculpt with his trademark brown Jedi robes (made of cloth) and his blue lightsaber (it looks like the one from the prequels, but, I didn't get to a good look at it). The package is the original style from 1978-79 with the figure housed in the left hand corner with the original card art from the 12 back card. On the back of this card, however, is all new artwork listing the other 11 figures that make up the rest of the set with a quick reference to the original packaging that was used over 25 years ago. The entire figure and card is housed in a protective plastic case (just like the "Marvel Legends" line from Toy-Biz) with the "Star Wars" logo in raised see-through lettering on the back.

If your a collector of all things "Star Wars", then you better put some money aside. Don't let these figures pass you by. There are worth every cent.

This is an outstanding "Vintage" Star Wars figure. It will bring you back to 1977 when you saw it on the shelf for the first time. I must say thank you to Hasbro for introducing this line of figures. This is a must purchase for any Star Wars fan.

I got april and i'm having so much fun now shes in the gang!!!her and ralphel are great friends. shes smart beautiful and kind to, i watch her every time on the show. she has a great laptop and 2 mousers but the turtels have to save her alot .Shes the best female toy i ever had!!

April is another great TMNT action figure. She comes with two mousers, a broken peice of pipe, and a laptop. She has known the turtles for a long time, her currrent job is lab assistant to Dr Baxter Stockman, who made the mousers for shredder, so they could destroy the turtles. (April did not know this) She is the outside contact for the turtles, sometimes bringing them food and gifts, or letting them stay in her house. April is quite fun to play with because she adds that little extra something when you play with your turtles. She is a necessity for and collection.

These (small) 2 inch. figures are great to have. You can have a fake duelwith your little or older brother/sister. You can make all kinds of games! Thats why I gave it 5 stars for fun. I gave it 3 stars for education because I thought you don't really learn much unless your dueling and keep track of the score with subtracting and adding. I gave it a 4 star score for durable because they last a long...long time. some of them have small parts though and may break off...soo be careful. BUT ALL AND ALL THIS IS A REALLY GOOD TOY TO PLAY WITH!!!

What more could a YuGiOh fangirl want? ^^ It's that lovable Egyptian Marik! And he repents! ^O^ I love it when bad guys (or misunderstood guys) do that. This figure is very cute. It seems to represent a repented Marik, as he looks calm and cherubic instead of malicious. He comes with a detachable Duel Disk. Definitely worth buying for any Marik fan!

I love this figure! It's so adorable and beautiful. It comes with the Duel Disk but nothing else, not even the Millennium Rod or a mini Sun of God Ra card. All in all, I definitely love it.

ummmm.....i think these cards would be a lota fun for us....awesome, anyways, i'm gonna try it!

My son keeps the cards that he wants to trade in this case. That way he doesn't have to worry about them being mishandled and they're kept seperate from his deck. Also, when we had a garage sale this summer he displayed his cards in this.

These tiny guys are so fun! They bring back memories too. It's fun to collect them all, especially your favorite characters. This is a toy for almost any age I say.

This doll is adorable and it is wonderful to have such unique African American dolls. The dolls face has great features compared to other African American dolls and my daughter will enjoy it for a long time.
