"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is a holiday classic in almost every household. The 60's Rankin/Bass TV special is as famous as the song that inspired it.

Here we have young Rudolph, just about ready to meet Clarice, Hermey and Yukon and set out on his adventure. Included is the misfit doll (Just what is wrong with her, anyways?) waiting for Rudolph to find a home for her.

The figure looks great, and is articulated enough to make an enjoyable plaything. Pulling on his tail makes his nose light up. You really can't ask for a better toy!

For the die-hard Simpson's fan, this is a special edition of mini action figures from the episode where Homer gets to ride in the space shuttle. Homer sneaks a bag of potato chips on board and in zero gravity, the pieces clog the instruments and wreak havoc. Homer saves the day by using a inanimate carbon rod to pin the door shut. The rod gets front page exposure, not Homer, with the headline, "In Rod We Trust."

Homer is in his flight suit and has the rod in his hand. A NASA scientist is wearing a lab coat and taking notes. The suited, talking chimp is wearing his rollerskates and is holding his smoking pipe. Barney is wearing a jet pack and has a bottle of champagne in his right hand.

Another astronaut action figure has his finger extended to press control buttons.

All figures except for the professor pivot at the waist and all figures can move arms up and down at the shoulder,

This memorable episode first aired on February 24, 1994. The package the action figures come in has detailed information about the episode as well as trivia questions.

This toy is very fun to play with. I have other Simpsons action figures and they are very compatible with the other action figures. I dislike the item because it does not have a place where you can put the figures to hear them talk. You will have to buy compatible environments that talk to hear Apu and Grampa talk.

I have nearly all of the Interactive figures and I am reluctant to admit how much I've spent on certain characters--one of which was milhouse. The figures above are in fact Interactive characters and despite different facial expressions and coloring they are cheaper ways to get popular figures for your display.

This sucker is going to be a huge classic. I really like my governor!

Luigi has his assortment of phrases such as "Hey, good for you, huh?" He has a removable chef's hat, a street sandwich-style sign, a bottle of catsup and a piza box with a pepperoni pizza inside.

Luigi is appropriately larger in width and depth than other Springfield counterparts, revealing his rotund belly under his crisp white chef's outfit.

The attention to detail cannot be understated. Even the way his mustache curls is hilarious.

Miss Hoover has her picket sign that says, "GIMME! GIMME! GIMME!" She also has a coffee mug, glasses, a grade book and a burlap bag labled, "STANDARDIZED TESTS: HANDLE WITH CARE."

Miss Hoover isn't quite as cynical as Miss Krabapple, but she is still an annoying woman. She is often criticizing Lisa for expressing "independent thought."

In her pink & white attire, she is ready to protest low teacher's wages. A great computer buddy for teachers and a great character to complete the die-hard Simpsons fan's collection.

Luann Van Houten is the recent divorcee - ex-wife of Kirk Van Houten, mother of Milhouse. She comes with a stack of unopened cardboard boxes, an open box labeled "KIRK" (I guess she stole some of his things?), a packing-tape dispenser and a squeeze bottle of butane (presumably to set Kirk's belongings on fire). She otherwise seems pretty happy with her blue hair.

She has an assortment of bitter phrases, including, "I'm sorry I'm not as smart as you." A great drama figure in the world of Springfield.

Homer joins this elite group ("The Stone Cutters"), an obvious parody of the Masons. Number One wears an elaborate robe and headdress. He has a book with the official rules, a punishment paddle and a beer stein.

Fabulously detailed - a must have for the Simpsons devotee and a fun gift for the Mason in your life with a sense of humor.
