1. For some reason the left leg is very loose. This causes awkward posing and standing up right.
2. Joints in the torso (the rotating part) and the part where the abs meet the upper body are very very loose. When you pose him its hard to get him in a super pose if you know what I mean. Even when hes slouched over he looks sort of cool. (use your imagination! ^_^ )
3. His head only moves side to side. It just would've been alot better if his head moved up and down. For a higher level of articulation I guess.
4.If u already have this figure, look at his shoulder closely. Toybiz has made this strange Spider-Man pattern on his shoulder. Aren't the armor grooves supposed to follow on the protruding muscles?
Enough with the lame. Out with the Bad in with the Good.
As my first Marvel Legend, I read many reviews on OTHER legends before getting this one. They were really good, so what better way to start than getting my favorite character!
1. Ingenious material! The portion of his pecks are made of this rubber plastic material. Which stretch onto his back and neck muscles and even his shoulder guards. What makes this good is that u can make his arms go in virtually any position without the normal plastic guard blocking.
2. I don't know why but his shoulders are build on this hinge thing that are connected to his upper shoulder. To me this is great in some ways. When playing you can quickly get him in a position (like during a battle or something. The hinge cap is made of thick rubber material, so it can't hold the position without you holding it.)
3. His Wrists and Fingers. What makes this great is that you can bend his wrist back and and open his 4 fingers, AND his thumb which pivots. so you can have him throw or body slam someone!
I gave this toy a 3 for education because it can teach anatomy. At least I think it can. Particularly this character has defined muscles and stuff. I don't know you figure it out.
Otherwise, this figure is worth collecting. And playing with. If it breaks u can buy another one, cause their not that expensive. get an action figure stand if u want to pose him. Thats my solution

towers one. For one thing, it's bigger......
but then all the rotk waves are getting smaller. I like the
helmet and armor he comes with, because if you put on his helmet
you'd never even know it was Frodo in there!
A good thing about this on is that it is fairly easy to stand
up, unlike my other Frodo, whose feet are just out of it.
Maybe it's because this guy is wearing boots....anyway, I give
him four stars because I bought him with sam in goblin armor
and they make quite a pair!

stand so good, and the horn can break any second. but its a beautiful breyer, stands for the great myth horses. and is worth alot to the person you give it to,this will be a great horse to add to your herd!

Even if you're already a boardgaming veteran you've probably not seen mechanics like this very often. Instead of competing against each other, players must cooperate as the Fellowship to destroy the one ring before Sauron destroys them all. Sometime this means a player must sacrifice him/herself for the benefit of everyone in the game. Amazingly, it works and even players who get eliminated feel as if they contributed to something worthwhile (and in many cases stay very focused on the outcome of the game, as they have a vested interest in seeing the Fellowship survive). The game is even fun with two players - but be warned that the difficulty ramps up quite a bit when the Fellowship is so small.
The components are impressive and are endowed with the great John Howe's artwork. There are no movie images to be found here - which may depress or delight you, but it does add to the sense that this game holds its own without needing to resort to pandering.
Does the game have any educational value? Hmmmm...I dunno about that one. I suppose it could encourage older kids to value cooperation a bit more than they usually do, and any kid who hasn't been enthralled by Tolkien's work might have a nice introduction with this game, but the ultimate goal here is to have a good time - not necessarily to educate.
This game faithfully follows the books forcing you to team up to face the Dark Lord and destroy the ring.
A VERY hard game to beat, so hard that a special sheet is included to fill out if you win (our group has only managed to do it once)
As you face the dangers of your trek the ring slowly corrupts you and Sauron gets closer and closer most likely not all the hobbits who leave the Shire will make it to Moria alive.
It is hard to review this game since I purchased the Expansions with it at the same time so I haven't played it without them. The Expansions add so much to the game they should be purchased at once, however even without them this game stands up on its own quite well and the artwork is superb!
Worth your time and money but don't lose your temper when it takes you months to win.
The game is difficult: while "winning" is defined in the game, it's far more common to come close but sputter out most of the way to the finish line. (At this point, you record how far you made it on the provided roster and try again!)
There are a couple problems with the game: First, while the rules are simple, the rulebook is easy to misread in a few places. If it seems like the game is too easy or too hard, you've probably misread one of the rules. The other problem is that one player who knows the game much better than the rest can get frustrated. There's nothing to stop an expert at the game from bossing around neophyte teammates. If the neophytes want to win, they'd do well to heed the expert's advice, even. The 'Sauron' expansion set fixes this problem.
On the whole, this is a good game. The production values are excellent, with beautiful art and pleasing props. The rules are simple enough to teach a youngster, yet the game is challenging enough to intrigue an adult. A good addition to any game-player's library.

T-850 is actually 7 inches tall instead of 6. The only flop is that the legs can't move at all, but at least the arms, body, and head can move. What I thought was cool was that the grenade lancher can spin and 6 grenades come out of the magazine, and the shotgun has a strap that makes it so you can hang it around T-850's shoulder. WHAT FUN! The detail on T-850 is amazing, featuring several bullet holes in his outfit, dirt on his boots, a large hole in his shirt, and also including folds on his outfit. The display stand brings back the seen from the movie when T-850 crashes into the animal hospital, but that doesn't really matter. All that matters is that it is fun!

Buy it ! you'll see what i mean.

He will make children go to bed when you want them to.
May you all that decide to adopt him have long and interesting conversations.
I liked the doll, but for decoration.
