I've loved Barbies since they first came out, and I still believe dolls are to be PLAYED with, which is why I don't completely love this doll. She has awful hair, and what would it have cost them to throw a few snaps or some velcro on the back of her dress?

On the other hand, the dress IS gorgeous, and the shoes are fabulous. And I love her grave and dignified expression.

...And cheap!And I don't mean $$$ cheap. Unlike the other 'European' looking Dolls of the World that I own, this one is a little chinsy and it gets messed up. For example, the plastic rod in the bodice kept popping out and I didnt touch it, her hair uncurled and her hem between the blue and the goldish petticoat unraveled. I was suprised that all happened and I had to purchase a new one because my others D.O.T.W arent like that.But it is really pretty and fun to play with!!

She reminds me of Cinderella from the Disney movie! This doll is very, VERY pretty, which is why she remains in her box on my display shelf. She comes at a good price, compared to other Barbie Collectibles which can go up to $300. The back of the box includes a history of Denmark, as well as a little story about this fairy-tale-like doll. Little kids can also enjoy Princess of Denmark (she's a Barbie, after all!).

Much better looking in person than in the picture. The sculpture is surperb and the paint is much more subtle and realistic than in the picture.

Hi Ho, Silver! Ever hear that call before? You might with this Breyer horse. The Lone Ranger's Silver is one of Breyers most beautiful creations. He is reared up to save the day. What is also great is that Silver comes with a video, titled: The Lone Ranger and the Lost City of Gold. In that video, you can see Silver in action. I also recommend getting Tonto's Scout, Silver's and the Lone Ranger's sidekick. Get ready to saddle up!

She is lovely. I think she is one of the prettiest dolls Mattel has created for the price range. My little niece adores hers, and this is the first doll that hasn't had her shoes removed immediately and her hair is still nice, even after three weeks. That is a long time for a four year old.

I'm sure once the newness wears off, my niece will begin playing with her. At this price I can get her another one to save since she likes her so much.

this is a collectors item, and should not be posessed by 12 year old children unless they are responsible... like me

this doll was a wonderful thing, for me to see in a store. it really teaches kids about other cultures, and other places in the world. it really made me think of england, and other beautiful places in the universe. i do not have this lovely doll, but i named her rose pinkette. i think its a lovely name for a lovely doll.

this toy is not very good. the arm broke off a week after i got it. and then my daddy glued it for me but then it broke again! it doesn't pose in very many places.

This is an ok toy.Not really movable or anything but still is an exellent display figure.so if you have a collection of s.p toys this is amust.(...)

If you are a collector and want a good addition to your spiderman set then this one is really good for you. I told my 5 year old son to pick one toy at [local store] the other day and this is the one he picked. He got it home showed it to his friends and it has since been running in my feet ever since due to it laying on the floor. If he plays with it it's when I'm not looking but he does like it. Good toy but not great.

I was looking for a action figure set of the whole Simpsons Family: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. Now, here are the pros and cons.

The concept of collecting toys when you can afford a credit card is absurd, that is why I am a toy NERD. This particular flashback set has been out for a while,I'm glad it's cheaper in price cause it's getting ridiculous especially with the independent toy stores. So my review is this: it's good. I saw the picture and I know what I was getting. The delivery was quite efficient and speedy Gonzales. Last I'd like to add that I DO OPEN my toys, cause you only become obsessed with mint condition and never enjoy the essence of the collectables. Get a life me.

Unlike the 3 negative reviews above for this set I am totally HAPPY with mine. It arrived in absolutely MINT condition. there is not a crack/tear/rip/dent or messed up paint job anywhere on the set.
I still can't believe Playmates made this set. ...If you collect Simpsons WOS figures, then you need to get this NOW! before it's gone! ...

I purchased this doll for my 13 year old son. I was under the assumption that he would like it, as his name is Tommy. However, much to my chagrin, Tommy does not like all things Tommy. Despite the fact that he will only wear Tommy Hilfiger clothing and only eats only Tommy Smucker's Brand Preserves, Tommy does not like Muchkin Mayor Tommy.

The name is a bit deceiving as well. Webster's describes a mucnhkin as "a person of diminutive stature". I feel that this does not accurately describe Tommy as Mayor Munchkin's size of 5 inches. Realistically speaking, his size would be fairy-like at best. I personally know someone who has a relative that is a munchkin and I feel that it is safe to say that it would be offended.

Also, I feel that this doll is made with haste and cannot withstand the daily use by my retarded son. Last time I had looked at the doll, Tommy had removed his pants and had also scratched off the ends of his mustache, giving him the appreance of a Adolf Hitler looking woodland nymph. Maybe your son is smarter than mine, but seeing as how you have read this entire review, I doubt it.

This doll is so cute,I just can't put him down.Even my grandmother loves him.

Its more of a show item them a item you would let a child have.

I ordered several of these items from Amazon. They all came in black with silver lettering, so I guess that's the only color scheme available. Each case holds approximately 80 cards in sleeves, or approximately 155 cards (I was able to easily fit 10 more than the manufacturer indicates) without sleeves. The outer flap is secured by velcro closure. There is a white patch on the back where you can use a fine-point Sharpie to write stuff. When closed, there is still a large enough gap at the top to allow dust, liquids, bugs, and other stuff to enter. Also, the bottom 4 corners are not perfectly sealed, so don't set your box down in a puddle of soda thinking the cards inside will be safe. Overall though, a nice product that I plan to buy again as needed.

I think that this toy is good for holding your cards but you should get the deck holder for better duration also.

Well, as you can see, I didn't find this cardholder extremely educational but it would be very functional if I owned Yu-Gi-Oh cards, that much I can see for sure. So, for the most part I would def. recommend these if you are worried about bending your cards or sullying them or even losing track off them.

i basically said it all in the title. oh, and he has a crappy stand, but hey, it's the only 6" Silver Surfer out there. GOOD LUCK!

The Silver Surfer figure is an amazing action figure! I collect Marvel Legends and this one is by far one of the best.

I found out that if you work with him and the board enough, he can be put into some awesome poses!! Cooler poses than most Marvel Legends figures out there! I definitely recommend picking this one up!! This action figure has some amazing potential!

He has a metallic finish with some blue accents (looks great), and his surfboard is magnetic so he stays on very well.

Plus it come with Howard The Duck!

The Silver Surfer is pretty much why I don't buy Toy Biz figures without looking at them **very** closely. What the web pictures don't show are how poorly the "points of articulation" are designed in the figure. The plastic joints, "rivets", and ball-and-socket points are very visible, making the Silver Surfer something of a metallic Frankenstein. Perhaps its the position of his head, but it seems as if his head is out of proportion to the rest of his body. Howard the Duck fared much better. Despite an oddly blank look, his clothes are well-detailed, even to the polka-dots on his tie and pattern on his coat. His trademark cigar, however, is missing. As a Howard the Duck fan, I purchased this figure, but, otherwise, I would not recommend it.

Do not let the big disappointment review cloud your judgement about getting this item. That review does make some valid points, but overall this is a masterful creation by Toybiz. I have dozens of toybiz figures and this has to rank among the best, possibly the best.

First we have to judge this product as a whole. It is a tremendous scuplt to start. Or two scuplts if you prefer with 2 heads. The base is of very good quality with a convienant tray that comes out and in for the other head. The phrases use Andy's voice and are excellent and fun, hence the 5 for fun review. Mine is very movable, arms, legs, the head tilts up quite easily. That is particularly ironic given a review in another comment because for the 6inch toybiz LOTR figures it is hard to get the heads to tilt up. This one is no problem. I have resisted getting any kind of Gollum/Smeagol figure up to this point for various reasons. But my collection would be missing a big part without something of him. You can not get a better scuplt of him from toybiz.

The flaw? Yes he does tilt backward and is prone to topple off when on the base. Is this flaw fatal? Hardly. Put something behind like a wall or anything else and you have one of the best toybiz products so far in the LOTR line. Don't miss the Gollum for the trees.

I was truly disappointed. The cheaper version for 8.99 is more fun because it is at least very poseable. This one can stay in the box, it's not much good for anything else. The plush doll has a better likeness than these two heads and I was disappointed that the doll itself doesn't talk, but the base is what actually talks. He doesn't balance on the base but tips over because he is bottom heavy and can't straighten his legs.
Truly a disappointment, but too late to get my money back because I opened the box. My best recourse would be to try to resell it on Ebay.

This is a pretty groovy little toy. You can choose whether you want him to say Smeagol phrases, or Gollum phrases, depending on your mood =) He's got two faces, which is really cool, and makes him a bit more fun to play with. He's a bit on the quiet side compared to most toys, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing! Very neat, and a must have for us Lord of the Rings nerds. Heck, I even named my cat Smeagol! This looks rather durable, and will look awesome on a shelf somewhere handy. Also a fun thing to put on your answering machine! hehe... Doesn't move a whole lot, so I'd use this more for show than as a sort of action figure. This is going to be a Valentine's Day gift for my personal preciousssss and I know it's going to be a hit!

This toy is really fun. first it comes with this ooze stuff that doesnt stain the carpet and doesnt ruin the figures or play set. It may be a little frustrating putting it togeather but the instructions were very deatailed. Heres a tip: dont lose the pieces or else will not be able to use it. put it togeather in a wide open space so you can always find the pieces.
I had no trouble with the pieces togeather (maybe the other review people had a deffective set lol)

Anyway i would reccommned this toy to your kids. it is defidently worth the money !

oh yeah and one more thing about the ooze stuff is that you should always keep in in the plastic barrel that it comes in and not on the floor. or else you will have alot of stuff sticking to it like i do.

My son received this for Christmas. He got frustrated quickly trying to put it together, and it took the adults several hours to assemble, then broke apart the minute we picked it up to move it. After many attempts to put it together and keep it that way, the pieces now sit in a toybox, forgotten. He likes the little turtle characters and the fighting platform, but the lair itself is a waste of time & money.

I love this toy! being a big fan of the Ninja Turtles, I enjoyed playing with the characters and making my own adventures. Two things I like about this set is that it comes with a miniature version of the Sewer Slider, the Ninja Turtles Go-Kart, and some Amazing Mutagen Sewer Sludge that does not stick to the set, making it possible to dump it on the Shredder and his Foot Soldiers without a sticky mess! I would recommend this set and the two other Ninja Turtle Mega Bloks sets to any Ninja Turtle Fan! This set only took me about an hour to complete, but I have been building with Legos and Mega Bloks for many years, so it might take other people longer to complete. The only problem I found with it was I had a hard time trying to make the couch stick to the set, but otherwise it is a very fun and easy set!
