not so sure about durability since its not played with yet but it looks like it will be a hit, not extremely loud but enough to keep a rowdy boys interest, and the box looks quite real with its "steel look" plus the small circle window that opens on the gentle push is a very nice touch..
If it is durable and holds up to kids this will easily be one of my sons best toys!

As you might be able to see by my nickname, of all the lands in Middle-Earth, I am most enamored by Gondor, the city of Men. The 6-inch figures are my favorites to collect, but when I saw this first toy representation of Gondorian soldiers, I impulsively reached out and grabbed it off the shelf. It took me approximately one day before the little stand that holds him up in a horse-rearing pose to break, which renders the entire figure pretty non-functional -- not that it had much function before. Its only purpose was for display, and if you aren't careful, you can render that non-fuctional too.
Otherwise, besides being only three inches tall, it's kind of a cool figure. The Gondorian soldier is mounted on his horse, with a shield in one hand, and a lance, or spear, in the other. The horse is kind of rearing up, held, like I said, by a small plastic stick. (WHICH, I may point out, is easily breakable) There's a small platform of terrain beneath him, so standing on his own isn't an issue.
I'd really suggest you wait for the six-inch Gondorian soldier. This one just doesn't cut it.

Kids can play with it and enjoy it, they'll just have to use there imagination. The toy doesn't really do anything, so that's why the imagination is a must. They can have fun with it however, because he is Superman and only Kryptonite can stop him. If your child likes Smallville they should enjoy it. If they don't, the toy isn't for them. If your a Smallville collector, you'll like the toy.
The Smallville Clark Kent figure is interesting because it really looks like a cross between actor Tom Welling and the comic book character (this is a round about way of saying the figure is not as "cute" as the actor, as my daughter would say). The figure is several shades over 6" tall, which will make Clark one of the taller figures in your action figure collections. I am ambivalent about the thermal chromatic hands that chance color (as your action figure encounters that big hunk of kryptonite no doubt). The figure also comes with a removable backpack, which probably makes more sense than a pitchfork, and a decent Inkworks collectible trading card.
I would assume fans of Tom Welling will be more interested in this action figure than real Superman fans, mainly because the only other figures from the show available are Lex Luther (who Clark is not fighting) and Lana Lang (who Clark is not dating). Having abandoned those two main avenues of conflict, there is not much left for the figure to do but stand around and look semi-cute.

Don't be afraid of the weathered look in the picture. That is only the prototype. The final product is gray towards the top, not brown, as it appears.
It also heavier than the other pieces produced by Master Replicas.
This is a better lightsaber to handle too(compared to the others), because of it being all gray, instead of silver. So you can not see fingerprints.
Don't pass this up, you will be surprised when you hold this in your hands. It surpasses the look of the prototype above.
If you collect the other Master Replicas collectibles, this will hold a special part in your collection.
A+...

Save your money for something better and don't buy this. I'm probably going to return mine.
Well i hope this review helps someone out.

Where they really go wrong is where you notice less forward progress in the design and more of a call back to Mego figures from the 70's. If this figure was wearing a tiny polyester jumpsuit with plastic removable boots and a hollow rubber head rather than a painted-on outfit and solid plastic construction, you'd have trouble distinguishing between the two models. It just doesn't look at all human. The articulations at the fingers and toes, at the waist, and at the thigh joints really detract from what could have been the best F4 figures yet. Plus, the exaggerated muscles on his chest & stomach are obnoxious. He's a scientist! He does not own a Soloflex!
One more thing. A Reed Richards action figure without grey hair on his temples is the Punisher action figure with a shave and a different suit. Reed Richards has grey hair on his temples, this figure doesn't. As other reviewers mention, the image in the photo, which is also the image on the reverse side of the packaging, is not of the final product.
By looking at only his arms, he looks about 70 pounds if he was real. Looks like he'll be even less durable than the supposedly "invincible" Iron Man Marvel legend, right? His costume's baby blue. BABY blue. He has detatchable hands and extremely heavy "bendy" alternate ones. How ka-ka-ka-ka-RAPPY is THAT? And yes I have been reading comics for only 3 years and i have caught up this well.

1. Is so stiff, it doesnt bend at the elbows and knees
2. Feels like the glued hard-rubber cape might fall off
3. Gets "bald" as the paint on its head and boots gets easily scratched away when it hits other toys
4. Is top-heavy and has a hard time standing on its own
Sadly, I think that its only redeeming factor is its very good likeness to the cartoon. Little kids tend to play rough, specially when superheroes battle it out with supervillains. Perhaps this toy was meant to be displayed only, and not actively played by little hands?
