    Fun figure but......
I'm a huge fan of Van Helsing!I have all the basic figures and the castle playset. The Dracula figure is really fun and I really like the"bitting action"I also like the little "pygmy bat". But, I think that it would really cool if Jakks Pacific made Dracula's three brides!! They are in the movie alot right? I think that there should be all three of the brides in human form and all of them in "bat"(or whatever they were in the movie)form.I though that they would have already been made but they are not.I though I would sugjest that.

You get the Van Helsing Dracula (and his little bat too!)
This is actually one of several Dracula figures from the movie "Van Helsing" put out by Jakks Pacific Inc. This is the "basic" figure, which comes with one of the vampire's little bat babies, but there is also a slightly smaller figure (4.75 vs. 5) of the count in his tomb (described interestingly enough as a "playset"), a Series II basic figure that is similar to this one but without the cape and much better hair, and a set of figures depicting the Dracula beast the Count turns into when he is in a fighting frame of mind. There are also color and black & white figures of the classic Bela Legosi "Dracula," reflecting the attempt of "Van Helsing" to revitalize the classic Universal Pictures movie monsters.

This particular version of Count Vladislaus Dracula (Richard Roxburgh) is about to put the bite on somebody, which draws your attention to the area where this figure has some shortcomings. If you look at the picture you would think Dracula is wearing a hood, but that is really his hair, which is one of the worst heads of hair I have seen on an action figure in a while (granted, a lot of action figures get to avoid the hair issue because superheroes wear hooded masks and sports figures helmets). The other Dracula figure looks much more like the actor, but this one is at a disadvantage since Roxburgh's features were distorted by CGI when he went to sink his fangs into someone.

Dracula's fancy masked ball costume is the chief attraction here, showing the same sort of fascinating with gold brocade that the Anna Valerious character wears throughout the film. There are some standard points of articulation, but you really do have some limited options with these if you want the figure to stand up (which is pretty much standard with these action figures). But that hair really bothers me. If it were different this might be the best of Dracula figure of the bunch. Last thought: It would be sort of kewl if you good get a bag of like a hundred different vampire bat babies. I know such things are impractical, but I have to think that we are getting closer to the day when toy companies will be able to do such things.

At Least Make It Look Like The Actor!!
This has to be the cheesiest piece of junk. Looks nothing like the character, none of the figures from this movie do. This company and the makers of the movie and the movie studio should be ashamed.

      Such an Absolute Disappointment!
My brother bought a whole set of Spiderman toys for my son including this piece. It is sitting in our garage and is completely undone. It looked big and promising but it just did not work. He was looking forward to this toy very much and was extremely excited but then each piece started falling apart and in the end, it just turned out to be another Spiderman junk. I am writing this review because we have an enormous amount of Spiderman toys which are really a waste of money and all of them, a total disappointment. My son is a serious spiderman enthusiast so he always forces us to get him these spiderman toys and then we have to handle the disappointment that spills off the next few minutes. At least, my son has still the movie to look for. All we know is we are not buying ANYMORE spiderman toys going forward.

      Fun Toy
My son got this for Christmas and has loved it!! He plays with it for hours and also takes it in the bath with him. He really seems to get enjoyment out of it. The only downfall I've encountered is that the plastic cockpit peice has fallen off a million times, so we just took it off permenantly. Other than that we've had great fun with this.

      OK toy
Overall, my son likes this toy. Yes, it is true that the blades fall off occasionally, but they pop right back on. The plastic cockpit can be put back on as well if it falls off. Not the most durable toy, but not the worst either.

        You can't go back
Man, you can't go back - I was so eager to buy all of these reissued toys, but the quality of the joints, with many arms and legs breaking off at the joint (even the METAL ones!), has really depressed me. These toys should be avoided, unfortunately.

        Poor quality control
I was a collector of the vintage Micronauts as a child. Unfortunately these new toys are way below the standard of the old toys. Quality control issues make these reissue Palisade Micronaut toys a waste a money and are a huge disapointment. Some of the figures I purchased simply fell apart on taking them out of the box. Many figures had chipped paint. Plus the joints on the figures are so weak, they are hardly poseable. Save yourself some money and frustration, do NOT buy any Palisades reissue Micronauts.

        Return of the classic Micronauts!
I was around 8 years old when the original Micronauts were released in the US (1977 or so). They were, and will always be, some of the coolest toys ever created. Mego picked up a Japanese toy line, unheard of by Americans, and turned it into a phenomenon. The wonderful Marvel comic by Bill Mantlo and Michael Golden didn't hurt, either.

Well, Palisades is bringing this series back, apparently more for the collector than the kid. These days, everything old is new again, so why not the toys? It's a special treat for me, as I spent years playing with my original Micronauts, losing pieces, wearing them down, breaking off bits, and eventually putting them in the trash when nothing recognizable was left.

Included in the first re-release (Version 1.0) is the horrific Membros. With his frog-like visage, warty skin, exposed brain (or was it an afro?), and weapon attachments, he was the embodiment of UGLY; therefore, the coolest one! This series has 4 versions of Membros, differentiated by their colors, but I have to say that the original red is my favorite. Unfortunately, Palisades is getting a lot of flak for the fragile nature of these toys (due to production problems), so you may want to leave these in their cases to stare at... at least until Versions 1.5 and higher, by which time Palisades says it will have fixed the problems. So, it scores low for durability and educational value (?), but a solid 5 for "fun", especially for an old-timer like me.

          Not too amusing ...
I've passed by these Neopets in the store a lot and I'd play with them in the demo mode but not really amused but when I found one in the clearance section and it was Shoyru the Dragon but Blue with yellow stars on it. I decide what the hey. I might as well see if this thing is as fun as the packaging says it to be. I brought it home and put it in Play mode and it took me less than 10 minutes to get bored of it. The last reviewer was right it does respond to your voice even thought you said a mean word softly it'd act happy and if you say something nice loud it get's angry. It doesn't say the 30 phrases the package says it does. I've only hear repeatedly Cool, Yes, Oh No, and Whistling which I guess is suppose to be his happy thing. Anyways I thought the price I paid for it wasn't worth it so I returned it. But I did find out that the one I had found is a rare Neopets item and I sort of knew that being the other Shoyru on the rack that wasn't clearance due to damaged packaging was orange colored and plain as to this one was blue with yellow stars on it. Anyways it's not too entertaining. I was more entertained by these magnetic lego type toy called Magnetixs by RoseArts. I could play with those all day and never get bored !
If you chose to buy this Neopet it's all up to you. But to me I say go with the Plush Neopet and make your own voices to go with it.

How can you hate those cute eyes?
Mine may not be green (it's purple) but I say it's great! It works well, is fun to talk to, and shows emotion. And for the other reviewer, it's just a toy computer chip designed to react to your voice tone, it's not a super computer that understands different languages! I mean, if you say something (or yell it) harshly, it usally means you're angry. When you speak nicley you're usually being friendly. That's how all the voice-activated Neopets are (including the Myncis). Neopets fan, age 10.

          Nothing to scream about
Not to be negative or anything, but this is a review, and I do own this item, so your going to have to face the truth: This thing is nothing to scream about. It's a Mynci, which is an adoptable Neopet from the official site. I guess it's some sort of monkeyish critter.. it reminds me of my Micropet. Does basically the same things, only it's taller. But not exactly big. He walks, and he can hear you. He goes by how nicely you talk to him. You can say in a sweet voice, "Your such a terrible toy. I hate you." and he'll giggle. If you say in a harsh, mean voice, "I love you!" he'll say, "No way!" or something else angrily. Not very amusing. Buy it or leave it, you decide.

          Simpsons KBBL Radio Station

It is poetic in a way that these figures of Bill and Marty, the only known DJs on Springfield’s KBBL radio station, are not compatible with other Simpsons’ "intellitronic" play sets. Because in the world of the Simpsons, these two would be completely out of place anywhere but the comfort of their own wacky morning show. Figures of Bill and Marty are included here (we hesitate to call them "action figures," since they don’t appear to get much exercise or sunlight), along with a set of the KBBL studio. When the guys have been placed in their designated spots, push a button to hear wince-inducing FM radio clichés like "Well, hot dog, we have a wiener!" and "Nobody rocks like Bill & Marty on KBBL!" As delightfully clueless as Bill and Marty are, the real star is the radio station set. It includes plenty of details that are sure to thrill faithful fans, including a play list calling for Mr. Funky and the Springfieldians. --Charlie Williams

Sure, It's Ideal for any die-hard simpsons fan, but these interactive environments usually interact with other simpsons figures. This one does not work with any figures except for the two that it comes with

for the price listed, why not?
I've got just about all of the Simpson's Interactive figures but I held off on purchasing Bill and Marty until the price came down. Now that I've got them with the rest of the sets, I'm surprised that Amazon was able to keep them in stock for so long--their hillarious.

Simpsons Disc Jockeys get their own set!
While not a playmates product these figures have hilarious phrases and fit well with the other characters. Any Simpson's fan who works in or loves radio will appreciate this tongue in cheek set. Durability seems equal to Playmates sets.

Quite possibly they worst action figure ever.
This action figure is in fact a repaint of an earlier Sabretooth figure. The mold used to create this was built off of a sculpt of the X-men villian Sabretooth. The metal arm bands and bracelets are intended to be restraints, and the rips to the shirt are supposed to indicate that Wolverine clawed him acrossed the chest. The figure does not have Wolverine's signiture claws, or hairstyle, the figure doesn't even show Wolverine's stature or build properly. The costume the figure is wearing isn't even a very good approximation of Wolverine's costume. The figure looks like it belongs on a 1980's glam rock poster. Do not buy this for a collector, a comic book fan, or even an observant child. This is not by any measure a good toy. There are far better toys out there for any purpose you might purchase this toy for. I cannot reccomend more highly against this poor product.

                Worst toy ever invented!!!!
This is the worst, most disappointing toy I ever wasted my money on. The tube that dips into the water resevoir for the left arm was too short, therefore that arm didn't work. The trigger was very hard to depress for my 4 and 8 year old sons. The water doesn't shoot a good distance, so the balls, and cannons just sort of fall off. I strongly suggest that no one buys this toy for any kid who is likely to be disappointed with it. It went right back to the store!!!

                Too Much Fun!!
I bought this for my 5 yr old super-hero junkie, and he loves it. It shoots a pretty good distance, and the little attachments make the water shoot in different patterns. We are very happy with this toy.

The beauty of Bob Mackie at an affordable price.
I think the last reviewer did not understand the rating system. She said the doll was a true collectors item and then gave it a poor rating???? I am thrilled with this lovely doll. I am an avid Barbie collector and especially adore the creations of the wildly talented Mr. Mackie. In the past, his high end creations have retailed for around the 199.00 to 249.00 price point, but this year, being Barbie's 45th Anniversary, Bob Mackie teamed up with Mattel to bring us a doll that can be more easily afforded and thus, more obtainable for most collectors. Some people have said they were dissapointed with this stunner as she is not as heavily beaded and intricate as his higher end creations, but please remember, she is retailing for only a fraction of the costs of his higher end dolls. Keeping that in mind, I think she is a wonderful addition to my Bob Mackie Barbie collection. She is dressed in a form fitting black dress that flares slightly at the bottom. She has matching black arm cuffs and white and silver trim at the top of her gown. She has an elaborate embroidered swirl design that starts from the bottom of her gown and goes around her back and then up and around one side of her head. What some people don't know is that when she is deboxed, you get to see that there is a wonderful cut out in the swirl, behind her head, for her lovely platinum white, hair do / bun to poke through. Her hair bun is pulled back tight, and woven into sort of a braided bun with tiny strands of clear, iridescent strands that shine and glimmer in the light. Her earrings are pure glamour and are silver toned, drop style dangling earrings with huge diamond-like stones at the bottom. They are very dramatic. Lastly, her makeup, while being very soft, almost muted colors, is very lavishly applied. Her eyebrows are highly and perfectly arched and her eyes are a pale shade of blue and drawn out in a very cat-like manner. Her lips are a very nice nuetral type pink and her finger nails are painted to match. She also comes in a newer, Collector Edition, packaging that is different from the previous, high end, Mackie creations. I think this girl is breathtaking for the price and if you give her a try, I do not think you will be dissapointed. Happy collecting!!!

                    DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!
This is the worst purchase I've done in a long time...When you buy this item you expect to get the diversity of packages you see in the picture, however what [I was sent] is 10 packages of Victory (99-00), 10 packages of Skybox (91-92) and 5 more packages of some other cheap brand. In essence the [worst] cards you can imagine. There was maybe 1 or 2 cards worth anything in 25 packs...

It's a G.I. Joe. Wait, it's not a G.I. Joe. They have the same proportions and the same highly articulated limbs for extra posability, but this line of action figures from Blue Box--with its greater emphasis on authenticity and accuracy of details--is aimed more at the older collector than the youngster who just wants to play. That said, how do the Blue Box figures compare to the original G.I. Joes in terms of quality? Blue Box comes out slightly ahead in most areas, including facial expressions (more finely molded, expressive, and grim looking), equipment (the helmets are made of real metal and the camouflage patterns are closely modeled on the real thing), posability (the click stops on the limbs of the Blue Box figures make them better able to hold action poses), and detailing (even the insides of the helmets are full of carefully molded details). A very impressive showing for this relative newcomer to the arena of action figures. --David Stoesz

This piggish figure of a Gi-joe is a complete joke. the equipment is ok but the figure is like a stick; for babys. Hasbro makes better gi joe figures. I bought the thing for the equipment which is educational and highly detailed... excelent design. Blue box toys should just sell equipment by itself not figures. very happy with equipment. long live hasbro joes!

                      Marpat (Marine Pattern)
At the beginning of 2002 the USMC commenced phasing in a new combat utility uniform. These new uniforms are set to replace all currently used uniforms by the year 2006. A feature of these new uniforms is the new camouflage marine Pattern (known as "MARPAT"). This has been extensively tested in the field and proven to be very effective tactical camouflage. It was selected from over 100 offerings with eventually the two top patterns being MARPAT and a new Tiger Stripe which was eventually edged out by MARPAT. This new pattern is a customized digital pattern using 4 optimised colours for the Desert, Woodland and Urban patterns.
