While there are scores of characters that make up the sprawling rosters of the GI Joe and COBRA forces, this three figure set of Snake Eyes, Duke, and COBRA Commander delivers some of the more interesting and pivotal characters. Snake Eyes, though he certainly doesn't look like the archetypal "good guy", is a top-flight ninja employed by the Joe team. We are told that he's so stealthy that he "can sneak up on someone at high noon on a gravel road". Duke is the calm and confident battlefield leader of the Joes although he appears to have the musculature to mix it up in the trenches should that prove necessary. COBRA Commander appears more buff than he often has, dressed more for battle than ceremony. A VHS version of the GI Joe "Spy Troops" movie is also included. --Charlie Williams
