Please, DO NOT BUY this toy!! As one of the other reviewers mentioned, I too found my daughter playing (well, hitting other children) with one of the rods that are used to assemble the bed. There are no instructions and the bedding is too short for the bed. Please save your money and go to the craft store (or shoe store for a shoe box).

Well, my daughter thinks this is so cool...but me, UGH!!! My version has wheels. But you CAN NOT move it!!! If you move it the slightest bit the frame falls apart! It is cute as far as the mattress, blanket, pillow. Very pretty and girly. It is poorly designed. I actually caught my daughter playing with one of the metal rods once. Not a safe toy...not to be used unsupervised for sure!

(...) it's very flimsy and the "mattress" does not even cover the bed, and the "comforter" is barely 1/2 of the bed's length (so whe you put your doll to bed, either her chest or her feet will be uncovered).
My daughter likes everything that's pink, and Disney princesses are cute, but it's definitely NOT worth the price!

My daughter loves this toy. It's really just a stuffed animal but it works great as an incentive to get my daughter to sleep. when she plays with it with the lights off its quite pretty. It's works well and is better quality then most barbie toys made of cheap plastic.

My daughter recieved this as a gift for her b-day. She instantly loved it, and loved how the horn lights up. She lost the little comb almost immediately, although we do find it every now and then. We have to find other ways to comb the mane. It isn't too loud, and it does have a few phrases, and a little song.

My daughter drove me nuts asking for this toy. She really loves it and is playing with it for hours. However, the horn of the unicorn is made out of hard plastic. It is an eye hazard. The rules in purchasing this doll were no running while holding it and she could not sleep with it. It talks, lights up and plays music. The recording is very audible and the volume is not too excessive. Besides the horn, it is a great toy. My daughter is six, but I would not recommend this for younger or rowdy children.

This toy was disappointing. The picture portrays Ariel in a blue dress and when we bought it, she had a green plastic tail. The entire thing is flimsy, although not as bad as the similar Beauty and the Beast castle toy which we previously bought. It's not a bad toy; just simply not worth what it cost.

This palace is very poorly constructed. It is flimsy and falls apart easily. My four year old enjoys playing with it, however, becomes easily frustrated because the castle will not stay together. If I had it to do over I would not buy this toy. It is not worth the money.

I bought this toy for my 3 year old because she fell in love with it in the store. It is not very well made. All of the characters are VERY tiny and flimsy - they are difficult to make stand up. The water feature works fine and so do all of the "magic wand" doors. She has had fun with it today but I know that the novelty will soon wear off. It just doesn't seem like it was worth the price that is charged.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. Some little girl in his class had one and he wanted the "boy" version (Jordan). This toy is annoying! It has a piercing high pitched laugh and cry that goes right through us. If you bump it by accident you have to put it back to sleep. The sounds it makes remind me of a weird Japanese cartoon.
It cost a lot for what it does. It really was not worth the $$ but he wanted it.

This toy quit working within 20 minutes of playing. We replaced it & it quit within 5 minutes! NEVER had this problem with any other toy. DO not recommend!

seems like nobody bought this,espacially because girls like pink,red better than blue...i bought this,Jordan and Jasmine as they say that they are twins...my daughter loved it...now her younger sister wants it too...it teaches them to be a good mother...i was rather embarrassed finding myself playing with it somethimes.but i really must admit that its a great toy,a MUST BUY!!!my daugter never fail to neglect it...actually she do,but not very often...she urged me to buy a bed for her two babies from ikea of singapore.i ended up buying two beds,one for Jordan and Jasmine,another for another two babies im planning to buy for her younger sister(i think im going to buy Bailey and Madison).i think i would end up buying 12 babies for them...i dont mind,because besides fun,its very durable and it seems that it teaches my children a lot about babies...as i had said earlier,its a MUST BUY!!!i still think its a must buy...

I think the last reviewer did not understand the rating system. She said the doll was a true collectors item and then gave it a poor rating???? I am thrilled with this lovely doll. I am an avid Barbie collector and especially adore the creations of the wildly talented Mr. Mackie. In the past, his high end creations have retailed for around the 199.00 to 249.00 price point, but this year, being Barbie's 45th Anniversary, Bob Mackie teamed up with Mattel to bring us a doll that can be more easily afforded and thus, more obtainable for most collectors. Some people have said they were dissapointed with this stunner as she is not as heavily beaded and intricate as his higher end creations, but please remember, she is retailing for only a fraction of the costs of his higher end dolls. Keeping that in mind, I think she is a wonderful addition to my Bob Mackie Barbie collection. She is dressed in a form fitting black dress that flares slightly at the bottom. She has matching black arm cuffs and white and silver trim at the top of her gown. She has an elaborate embroidered swirl design that starts from the bottom of her gown and goes around her back and then up and around one side of her head. What some people don't know is that when she is deboxed, you get to see that there is a wonderful cut out in the swirl, behind her head, for her lovely platinum white, hair do / bun to poke through. Her hair bun is pulled back tight, and woven into sort of a braided bun with tiny strands of clear, iridescent strands that shine and glimmer in the light. Her earrings are pure glamour and are silver toned, drop style dangling earrings with huge diamond-like stones at the bottom. They are very dramatic. Lastly, her makeup, while being very soft, almost muted colors, is very lavishly applied. Her eyebrows are highly and perfectly arched and her eyes are a pale shade of blue and drawn out in a very cat-like manner. Her lips are a very nice nuetral type pink and her finger nails are painted to match. She also comes in a newer, Collector Edition, packaging that is different from the previous, high end, Mackie creations. I think this girl is breathtaking for the price and if you give her a try, I do not think you will be dissapointed. Happy collecting!!!

This doll is definetly beautiful. She is not for children below 14 a true collectors item.

I grabbed this toy at Target when I saw that it cost just about as much as any other Barbie car, but this one was remote- controlled. We bought this for our 6 year old daughter for Christmas in lieu of yet another Barbie horse-drawn carriage. This is a whole lot more durable than any carriage! My daughter has no problem remembering to turn off the car with the switch on the bottom. It is bulky, and it takes up its own space on a shelf, rather than in a toy box. As far as the turn feature, it does not have a right or left control, but by backing up and going forward in small steps, you can get the car to turn. This is a challenge for my daughter, yet one she can handle. Because of its size, I think this is a better outdoor or garage toy, in which the child has plenty of space to run it around. In retrospect, my daughter would have equallly loved the Barbie VW beetle- non-remote-controlled version with the key that opens the trunk, but it actually would have cost us more than this one.

This car is so cute, It would have made a great Xmas gift. I'm just glad I checked it out first.... First of all it takes 4 "C" batteries and 1 "9" volt. It does not shut off automatically, so it will suck the batteries quickly. Secondly, it goes forwards/backwards only. There is no turning. Thirdly, it worked great on the kitchen tiles, but on the carpet, it had a ridiculously LOUD and grating squeek. It's cute but definitely not worth it, and will be returned tomorrow.

My daughter has this, it keeps her very busy and imanigitive. When her friends come over they all play with it and enjoy it just as well. The decorations are a great idea. They stick fine and can't come off. It allows the child to individualize her mirror. As a matter of fact we're on our way to the store to buy one for her cousins birthday. Thanks Bratz.

My 8 year old daughter got to pick something out for good Report card grades. Her 16 year old sister has a mirror in her room (not this one) so my young daughter picked this out. When we got home my 8 year old daughter Anna started to decorate it. First of all NOTHING would stay on. We even tried using the hot glue gun for everything including the stickers but nothing stayed. We started to put the mirror on Anna's wall with no decoration. We had a nail in the wall to put her first mirror up and what do you know? There is NO hook what so ever to hang up the mirror. We decided to use the special tape that KB toys gave us to make the mirror stay. NO SUCCESS! The special tape stuck to the back of the mirror but not the wall. We left the tape on the mirror & put glue on the tape with the hot glue gun.
WHAT A MESS!! So the mirror goes sliding down the wall with hot glue smeared on the wall. We ran for our lives to the kitchen to get a cloth to wipe off the smeared hot glue on the wall. So we get back into Anna's room in 49 seconds (my husband timed me)
and what else do you know. The glue dried. We went back and got a Bratz doll for my little Anna instead. BEWARE!

I bought this toy and the accessories -- the carousel and the small world for my 2 and 4 year olds. They both enjoy it very much. Even though the pieces are small my 2.5 year old can put the people on the rides and can pull the floats along. unlike other reviewers, we have had no problems with the magnetic characters. they dance and twirl very well.

What really makes the set is the map that goes along with it. We all enjoy finding our favorite characters on it. My kids insist that we set it up every time!!

Although the fireworks are just a plastic pop-up, my son and daughter love to turn the key to make them "go off."

They have recently come out with two more rides for this toy and I plan to purchase them too.

My daughter received this gift as a present from a family member. I'd love to throw it out. My family member obviously does not read the reviews before she buys toys, because if she did she would not have purchased this toy. The reviews are right on the money.

If your child enjoys managing dozens of microscopically small pieces, this is the toy for you. The "fireworks" are actually a pop-up piece of plastic with a picture of Tinkerbell surrounded by fireworks - pretty disappointing. There is some Muzak-type music that plays, and the dance floor can be spun around with a turnkey. The dance floor is magnetized, as are the bottoms of some of the included characters, but they still tend to fall down a lot and to get stuck to each other instead of the floor. As for construction, the "lampposts" refuse to stay attached and the parade floats don't stay hooked together. That said, it's a cute idea and my 4 and 2 year old were both interested in it for about 15 minutes. If the pieces were not so insanely small it would help this toy's "playability" tremendously.

I just got this Barbie doll for my younger stepsister. At first we thought that the tail was as everyone else described it: faulty. It wouldn't stay in. Then my stepmother took it, pushed a little harder, and now she can hold the thing by the fin and swing it around. Just put a little more pressure on it and it'll snap right in.

I bought this thinking that the tail falling off was a fluke (no pun intended). However, I bought two of these and the tail refuses to stay on. It is not a fun toy to play with in or out of the bathtub. My four year old has already discarded it to play with her durable toys.

The tail does not stay on for even a moment! My little girl gets very upset and I have tried glue, but being a water toy it fails. I hope they fix this problem in the next model, I will not purchase anymore of this version.

This bag has really helped my daughter keep all of her What's Her Face pieces in one place. It is not necessarily educational or fun but it helps keeps the toys picked up! The only problem with this bag is that it does not ahve any small pockets to hold the stamps or markers for the doll - everything is thrown together in one compartment.

Boy does this come in handy and keeps this all in one place.

Got this bag for my daughter to put the what her face doll and accessories in. This is a nice bag and the toys store nicely in it. keeps everything together.
