I do not recommend this dollhouseThis was a gift for my three year old. The house is all plastic and snaps together. It is flimsy and the space is very cramped. It's not easy for my daughter to move the furniture or kittens around. It's dark inside and the largest room downstairs, the kitchen, is too long, so that it's hard to reach in to "play" in the room.
My daughter has barely played with this. I keep it out, hoping that she'll like it better as she gets older. She does lots of pretend play with other toys, but not this one. I am planning on saving for one of the Ryan's Room dollhouses which are built to last and are more open for better accessibility. These are available at Learning Express. Also, the Playmobile dollhouses are a nice option.
One other thing to consider is that the furniture sets that you buy to go with this house are expensive and filled with so many tiny pieces, they are sure to be lost.

Great DollAs the mother of Multiracial children, I consider this toy to be a Godsend. I love being able to buy my daughter a doll that reflects her skintone, eye color, and hair. I love that it sends the message that she IS as beautiful as Barbie, and that beauty comes in many different shades. I love their faces, and the clothes and accessories on these dolls do a better job of reflecting current and trendy clothing styles. (Modest, sporty, and fun.) I love these dolls.

disgustingThe fact that toy manufactuers are making children grow up sooner than they should is disturbing. We wonder why child molesters are so tempted today, it is what we are allowing our YOUNG children to emulate. Parents need to take a stand and not purchase this product. Mattel needs to learn that sometimes children need to be shielded from "reality".

Not Highly RecommendedI bought this for my daughter, Lori, because of the doll's name. It is a cute item initially, but the "swimming" mechanism doesn't work as expected. It is a good sized doll and for a mere five dineros, it wasn't a bad deal. We have a hanging basket in the bathroom for the water toys, so it was able to drip dry, and my state isn't too humid, so we didn't experience the mold that another review spoke of. My daughter got this for Christmas and the set was donated to Good Will less than 5 months later. The best part is the shower, which was only fun when Mom operated it--since it was too difiicult for little ones.

Decent for the priceThis was bought for my then 4 and 5 year old, they enjoyed it the first couple times after that it was just another toy sitting around not getting used. This product is fairly large and hard to find a place to store once bathtime is over. We couldn't store in the bathtub because of size and mold on the lily portion. Must dry this product after each use to avoid the mold. The kids did like the fact that baby comes out and can be played with outside of the tub.

Disappointed GrandmaMy granddaughter was heart broken when her ponies arrived. When we purchased another long hair pony at the store, it came with a baby pony so when we seen the Blossom pony with the baby we thought it came with it. Items that are available to order should not have extra items pictured if they are not included. This in my opinion is false advertising. We will not order from this site in the future.

Doesn't include the baby bonus pony as pictured!I got this item recently and it did not have the baby pony that is shown in the pictures. Apparently, the baby pony was a bonus item on the earlier version, and is no longer included in the new version. Its too pricey for just one pony, so beware!
I was able to pick up one of these with the baby pony at a local retail store, but they are getting harder to find, being replaced with the newer packaging.

Why????Why is it that people that do not like my scene dolls vote on just one type?? They are just going to put one star on every thing that has anything to do with my scene and I don't think thats fair. I think that the my scene jammin in Jamaica is the best release ever. This set of my scene doesn't cost that much at all and I recommend it completely.

Is this Toy Boring?I Think this toy is a pretty good one. But it is easy to loose the parts. But this is better than the last Slashin World, what was used maybe a year ago. The Hair gets in the way, a lot, so I bought this toy, because of the things in it.

FUN!!!!I bought this toy and the other two in the set for my sister and she spent at least 3 days constantly playing with them. The company must have changed the plastic they use because the clothes were alot easier to slide on than the older toys. I would recommend this toy for kids ages 6 and up because it is still challenging to dress the girls.

Original is nicerThe original Toddler Princess Ariel is nicer than this one, it seems to me, that they "cheapened her up" for this doll. I mean, yea, she's still an Ariel doll, but the whole color change thing is really ugly. Especially the design on her face, it just looks awful! Also her mermaid outfit is weird, it's not the same as her real mermaid outfit, the tail especially is horrible, with the purple swirl down the middle...yuck!
Still, she's made very well, and if you can't get the original one, this one is ok to settle for. Maybe some people actually like the color changing thing. She comes with a purple seahorse that squirts water, a shell shaped water holder (for color changing), a hairbrush, a strange necklace, and boldly colored...hair extensions....eww.

Dollhouse Fashion DollThis doll comes in a tubular plastic container with her stand. Her outfit is cute, even comes with underwears as well. Also included is a handy plastic suitcase with a key ring attached, and carries a extra set of shoes and a one top. Seems very durable and heavy. I think she is heavy due to her huge head which I found cute. If she had a bobble head she will look to cute for words on a desk or dresser...LoL. The doll is also articulated at the neck, shoulders, and at the thigh part of the leg. Facial paint work is great! the colours blend well. She even has one painted on toe ring, one on each feet. I rated her a 3 star in education because a child might want to sew an outfit for her giving them ideas of fashions. Not sure if a child will play with it for a long period of time since her hair is molded on and not much for posing. But as a collector of dolls she is sure to shine in my collection.

The Happy Birthday Barbie doll is released annually, and this year she is as lovely--in much the same way--as she was the year before. This time, Cotillion chic supplants prom vogue. Heavy brown bangs replace last year's fringes. Fuchsia dominates over the purple or pink from before. The big bow that was a bustle or hat, is now at Barbie's waist. Get the point? A few things do add interest, like a tiny gift box (to fill with a ring for Mommy, or a jaw breaker for Daddy?). There's also a tiny paper birthday card and cake, but a deft Barbie fan knows where real value lies: the kid-sized tiara. Birthday Gift For My NieceI bought this gift for my 3 year old niece and she loved it. It came with a cute little tiara for the birthday girl. Unfortunately I think she was a bit too young for the toy because she wanted to undress it and she ended up losing the shoes. My sister ended up putting it away because she said that it was too nice for my niece to ruin. So what she did was she put it up on a shelf and it made a very nice display doll for my niece's room. I think that this doll is too pretty for a younger child to play with and ruin. I would recommend it for an older girl, or for use as a display for a collector or to add a touch of decoration for a little girls room to match the barbie comfortor, curtains, etc.
This is a great start to collecting all the adorable families and furniture that belong in the line. I find it reasonably priced in comparsion to other houses on the market.
