I think this is not a toy,I think it looks better in a shelf but if you want too play you can but not very hard.I think that in general breyers are not for little children.This Spirit is really beautiful and catchs very the idea of the movie.If you buy Rain they will look wonderful.I have them both.

I bought this horse and low and behold one month after purchase, the tail broke off. I have tried to glue it and still won't hold. It is strange, we have about 10 of these horses, foal, and mares. We have 5 that are broken . For the price you pay they should be durable. They are intended for "Play", or so it is advertised that way. I don't think they had children test them. I thought I was doing the right thing buying the more expensive hores for the quality! NOT, I'M DISAPPOINTED!

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas 2002. One week later to the day she was playing with it and not in a very rough manner, the back leg broke.

This was not a cheap horse and I just did not want to purchase another one. My husband with his expertise in repair fixed the leg but it sits on a shelf now and cannot be advised to play with.

The 'Rain' horse seems very strong though.

This is an awsome model! Trigger is a striking palomino with a stark white mane and tail! Light pink and black shading near and on his muzzle make 'im look like the real thing! His legs are a little tender, though. I wouldn't recomend him for ruff kids. Highly recomended for older kids and collecters! Great model horse folks! Trigger is truly a "Wonder Horse!"

this toy has great educational info, about roy rogers.
i have about (more) then 150 breyers.and i'd rate it 50 stars.
the only thing is it's not for playing with, it's more of a [blot]
on the shelf toy, but it's worth more than your buying it for!!! i have it, and its just as worth wild on the shelf as it is on the floor!

breyers can be educational because you can learn about the different breeds, colors, genders, and, in this case, roy rogers!

This toy is fun and education becuase it is a horse that also has a great amount of history behind him. So you can not only play with him but research him as well.

Very beautiful, very highly detailed. This is a must for anyone's breyer collection! The facial expression and the sculpted details are out of this world. I highly recommend this breyer to all collectors.

I think that this model captures the beauty of a running horse. My model is extremely durable, and has never broken any legs or ears, or never even gotten scratched. There is a two paragraph summary of the real Cigar's racing career inside the box. I definitely recommend this model!

I love my Breyer Scamper! He was my very first "collectable" horse and he's still as bright and handsome as when he came out of the box. He stands alone, is pretty durable, and has a great color. Markings and quality will vary SLIGHTLY as each one is hand airbrushed. This handsome bay Classics-scale model is too cool! I should warn that this model sometimes falls down and isn't for rough play!

Scamper is one of my most durable, most realistic, most fun and easy-to-display models. Gentler kids can actually play with Scamper without banging him up too much. Scamper is well painted and he can even stand alone. He comes with a beautiful box explaining his accomplishments so he can be displayed in or out of box. This Breyer is well worth your money! You get a background, story, catolog, barrel, and the horse for a good price.

Scamper was a real equine athlete who was #1 in his sport, (barrel racing) for 10 years! We are amazed when human athletes can stay on top for that long. Breyer collectible horses are fun & educational. Scamper is a personal favorite of mine because of the rags-to-riches story of his life, and the teenage girl who rode him. The detail on this mold is amazing and I love the personality shown by the model's outstretched upper lip. One of Breyer's newest molds, and part of the Western Performance Series. Look for the other two, the reiner & cutting horse!

This set is awsome! I got it at BreyerFest last year.
If you're lookin' for a durable, fun set, this is the one for you! This is the first color on this beautiful set. It looks almost as though your sittin' whaching and elagant white mare give birth to a handsome chestnut foal!!!! The white mare's name is Susecion, and she is truly a work of art! Light gray shading is around her muscle joints and you can tell that she has a blaze on her face because of the delacate pink shading. And the colt, Le Fire, is just as striking as his dam with four flashy white legs and a blaze! A highly recomended set!

If anyone if looking for a duralbe horse thats lots of fun and wants a rarer horse this is the one for you!

This set is awfully cute but the foal's legs are very fragile and so is his tail. He is in a strugling position. He looks as if he's struggling to stand. The mother's head is down in an encouraging way and looks as if she's trying to help her foal up. Mostly good for a collection and not play.

One thing about Breyer Clydesdale's is that they are one of the most durable breyers horses avalible. They can go through a lot of wear and tear and come out with maybe a rub or 2 or maybe a scratch. I highly reccomend this toy. You can do anything with breyers because they are so lifelike you can even hold shows with them!

Flowergirl is a beautiful example of a Clydsdale mare and the only Breyer model horse I've actually met in real life. Of course watching her and her foal eat was fun, along with feeling the ground shake under the hooves of the other horses racing toward the barn. I'm not sure they got her color exactly right, remembering her a bit less red, but that doesn't change the quality of this model. She's a beautiful animal, in the flesh and as a Breyer creation.

This horse model lets you use your imagination to explore. Open up a world of : Show Jumping, Cross Country , and Dressage. Or create a world of your own , full of wild horses! These horses seem to come alive as you play adventures with them. They are so durable, educational, and , of course, FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being a Breyer collecter almost all of my life, I would like to say that this toy is great! It is so unique in every way and it is the perfect mold for a show horse! This toy is not only fun to play with, but it is also very durable and strong. I think that this toy is educational for the horse-lover's mind. I shows us what a certin kind of horse would look like without them having to buy one.

This model is beautiful. each model is hand painted, and looks unique. these breyer models are hich quality and worth the money, but since there are some very weak parts of the model (like legs and tail) you have to be careful. Don't get it wrong, these are pretty strong. They are not exactly fragile or anything.... but overall pretty durable. It is also totally educational. The box comes with the name of the breed of horse, (in this case Bay Pinto) and its realistic features really help you learn about that particular breed and what it looks like. The thing i love about this model and all other breyer models is the close resemblance to the real thing. These are not cheesy barbie horses with cheap plastic and eyelashes... This could hardly be called a toy. It is something that adults could collect, and put around the house as decoration. Great for all ages!

THIS IS SUCH A WONDERFUL HORSE. HUCK IS A GREAT MOD HORSE FOR A COLLECTION. HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL! IT'S THE BEST HORSE THAT I HAVE. IN HIS BOX THERE'S A PICTURE OF HIM AND A VERY SHORT STORY OF HIS LIFE. YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT IN YOUR COLLECTION.

THIS IS A GOOD MODEL HORSE FOR A COLLECTION. IT'S SUCH A BEAUTIFUL HORSE AND IT'S MY FAVORITE HORSE. THERE'S A PICTUTE IN THE BOX AND A BREIF STORY OF HUCKLEBERRY'S LIFE.

I think it is a very fun toy to play with and it is very pretty. He is a must for all horse lovers and/or Breyer collectors.

Hello, I am a proud owner of this little herd. I think these toys are very fun and educational because you can care for them , walk,trot,canter(slope) and even gallop them! I don't think these toys deserved 5 stares on durablity because one of my horses tail chiped. These are also very fun to play with if you have more StableMates to add to this herd! Because of how my horse chipped (and my freinds horses leg broke) I would'nt recamend giving these horses to cildren under 3 (the leg or any part of the horses body could break and be swallowed) or anyone who might play ruffly with there toys. These horses make great little aditions to any breyer collection.

This is a really good solid set with really pretty pony's.Personally I had a little trouble with standing up the grey thouroughbred mare,also, breyer reuses their molds so now I have many more than one mold in my herd.

Seabiscuit is a racehorse who won many races and you see this is Seabiscuit not Man O War. Seabiscut is a great Breyer model and is very fun to play with and will go nicely with race tack to be ready to run a huge race track. P.S Man O War is Seabiscuit's father.

I think seabiscuit would be good for kids 8 and older. Also I think he is good for anyone who loves him. he looks just like seabiscuit.

To me, Breyer horses should be viewed not only toys but rather as collectables. They are quite fragile and scratch and break easily, so they should only be given to kids above age 10. You can buy or even make little accessories such as saddles, bridles, etc. and they are a LOT of fun!

To a true Breyer enthusiast, this horse is well worth the price. This horse, Seabiscuit, is just as good as many other Breyers out there.
