My mother purchased this doll for my daughter when she was just two months old. She is now nearing 2 years old, and this is her favorite toy and doll by far. The quality is outstanding -- my daughter takes this doll everywhere with her and it holds up really well. And the doll is the most beautiful baby doll I've seen these days in stores, very realistic and not at all scary looking. Although it is quite pricey, I believe it's well, well worth every cent.

These dolls cost about twice what I was previously willing to spend for a single doll, but I've decided they are actually worth the extra money. After trying a few dolls from Zapf and Anne Geddes, I was disappointed that my 2-year-old daughter seemed to have only a fleeting interest in dollies.

However, the Bebe Do 14" is a great size for a toddler or preschooler, it is lightweight, and the vinyl "skin" is soft, yielding and slightly translucent like a real baby's skin. The lips are not flat, but rather, they have creases and shine like real lips.

The doll has a light vanilla scent, and for all its realism, is far more cuddly than the other dolls in my daughter's collection. She doesn't do any fancy tricks like drink, talk or go potty, but her eyes do open and close. I only wish the lashes were stitched in rather than glued on: for a high-end doll, this is one area needed for improvement.

My daughter treats this doll like a real baby, rocking it in her arms and singing to it, "feeding" it, and giving it hugs and kisses. As a bonus, my son has taken an interest in our new "baby" too, and enjoys pushing it around in a doll stroller almost as much as his sister does. When we are ready for dolls with hair, we will again be shopping for a Corolle doll.

I bought this same doll for my niece over 8 years ago to celebrate her birth. she still goes to bed with my niece every night and still holds that amazing smell. Every time I visit I just have to pick up the doll they are amazing

This doll is part of the Corolle Poupette line. The Poupettes are designed for toddlers/pre-schoolers (18 months +). Lulu here, is the cutest red-head I have ever seen. Her hair isn't too red. It is easy to brush and style. Her dress is reversible. And you can find more Poupette outfits online to add to her play value. And let me say the outfits look so much cuter on than in their boxes. All the outfits are EASY to put on; to boost their little owners' self esteem. As with most Corolle dolls she has a light vanilla scent which is intoxicating, making her absolutely irresistible. She has 15 precious freckles across her button nose, green eyes and the sweetest shaped head. Her head can move from side to side. Her bottom is lightly filled with beans to let her sit up straight, just like her mommy told her to. Lulu is a perfect first tag-along friend.

me and my friend have 5 of these. we play with them all the time. they are very preicous. treat them like real babies.

Both of my daughters love playing with this doll (ages 3 and 10 months). It's soft enough for even a very young baby, but it's large enough and with a realistic enough face to keep my older daughter interested. This dolly is white, but you can throw her in the machine with a little oxyclean and she comes out perfect every time. I LOVE having her outfit permanently attached as it solves the "naked baby problem" we seem to have with every other doll. After almost three years, this doll is going strong and has converted me to the Corolle brand for detail, quality workmanship, and fun.

This doll is as durable as any other Corolle, but it is less expensive becasue the clothes are sewn on. If your child ends up liking this doll & carrying it everywhere which is *very* likely. When they grow up a bit, I think it would become an issue. However, this would be better than the "pink" one wwhich has a skirt that flares out and would make putting other clothes on even more difficult.
You may be frustrated by the lack of clothing even if your child isn't. It is washable, but stains happen, at least in my house!
