It's so nice to see something girly that isn't Barbie. Four stars for educational value for the same reason the other reviewer gave-- you could have your child listening to educational CD's while maintaining your sanity instead of going crazy listening to Barney and things. It's also a nice shade of pink, as opposed to the pepto-pink we usually see in girls' toys.

Also great for those of us who are Hello Kitty fanatics! The sound quality is excellent, and the ASP actually works, unlike a lot of the "non-toy" portable CD players.

this is a great portable cd player- i'm 29 & i love it- hello kitty's face is so bright & cheerful, the sound rocks & i've dropped it & it keeps on playing!

it has an anti-skip mechanism that works a lot better than the "grown-up" brand name discman's i've had & did i mention how cute it is????

i gave it a 5 star educational value, because if you're buying this for a child you could fill it with great books on tape and/or wonderful music.

i highly recommend this to hello kitty lovers of all ages!

This is a great plushie for the girl who loves Hello Kitty! My daughter has a collection of Hello Kitty plushies, but none of them *speak* like this one. I bought this item early to give to my daughter for Christmas because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find it again once the holiday shopping rush began.

I brought this memory kit last time I babysat my friends five year old and she loved it. It came ready with markers and pens, a glue stick, stickers, rubber stamps and even a pair of safety scissors! We added some glitter and photographs and created a one of a kind momento that I know she will cherish for years. Plus it was so much fun.

I highly recommend this Memory Book Kit. It just may start your child off into the world of scrap booking!

I think that it's great that they design a new Hello Kitty CD player every year or so. The design on this one is great because it is bright and the plastic house itself is just more solid than the previous two.

However, it has some of the same flaws as the previous models. This boombox works well in a small room or when working in a small area. Due to the popularity of CDs, I didn't miss the cassette deck. I did think that this boombox was a little expensive considering the sound output and lack of cassette deck.

This boombox also presents a new problem. The CD is placed in the player vertically, instead of horizontally. If you don't snap it onto the wheel inside, it could damage the CD, so you need to be careful.

To increase the educational value of this toy, someone suggested getting karaoke CDs with lyrics books. It is a great way to introduce reading or to improve on reading skills.

I bought this phone for myself because I love Hello Kitty. I figure, I'll hand it down to my daughters (maybe..lol) when they are old enough. This phone has caller Id and the wings light up when it rings. It is very well made.

I HAVE THIS HELLO KITTY TELEPHONE ,I BOUGHT IT AT TARGET FOR MY 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER ,SHE LOVES IT!IT,S SO CUTE.THE WINGS LIGHT UP!She has dropped it several times also and it is durable!

I (the mom) needed a new phone in my room. We just happened to find this phone in a Sanrio store. I had to beg and plead with my 4 yr. old daughter to let me keep it in my room, but to no avail. I guess she thinks only "little" girls can like Hello Kitty!! So, its in her pretty pink Hello Kitty room and how cute is it when the phone rings? The little angel wings light up along with the little heart wand!! I had to call her a million times...with the lights off in the room! Its got caller ID and the sound is pretty good. All in all..its adorable. A definite must if you're a fan of all things cute!!

In the beginning, God said..."let there be light." Clearly, He wasn't considering the Hello Kitty Lantern. My 3 year old daughter ADORES this lamp. However, once the bulb burnt out there aren't any Philips KPR802 4.8 volt, .5 amp bulbs in the entire free world.
Rayovac has you over a barrel when your daughter is looking up at you with her tear-filled eyes asking you to 'please fix my lamp,' and your only choice is to buy a new lamp!!!!!

I bought this lantern for our 5 year old daughter a few months ago. She absolutely loves it! It is cute as can be, very durable and the output of light is extremely good for a toy lantern. I would highly recommend this toy to everybody.

I saw that a lot of people said that the radio was messed up. but mine worked fine it is so cute. like if your room is dark it is easy 2 find the snooze button

I got this alarm clock as a Christmas present - even though I am 21 years old! Unlike most alarm clocks that are cute, this one is also very functional. I love the night light; it is perfect for me because when I wake up in the middle of the night and walk out of my room, I can turn it on (before I get out of bed) so I don't bump into anything (usually my cat). I also like how I do not have to switch the alarm all the way off when I get up in the morning. All I have to do is press the alarm button, and it resets itself for the next day! I can also control exactly how long I want the music to play before going to bed (most alarms will only play music for 59 min). The hello kitty figure is the "snooze bar", and it is great because it is so easy to find when I want to quickly hit the "snooze bar" and go back to sleep. The buttons and knobs on this alarm are all easy to access, and the switch for the night light is right behind the lemon slice. The time display is easy to read from any angle, and it's not too bright or too dim.

I think a major problem with some of the reviewers complaining about the sound quality of the radio is they never bothered to read the manual. In the manual it states that the sound quality can be altered by straightening the cord (the outlet plug and antenna are combined in one cord) and by changing it's position. My reception is just fine, and it is a lot better than the reception I got from my previous alarm clock.

This game is cute. Really it is. It's music is adorable too. For me it was a little difficult being that I was eating at the same time but heck. It's graphics are a little out dated, and the story line a little weak, but I guess it is okay.

The reason I love this game is because I love Hello Kitty, and I love video games! In this game, you must help Hello Kitty get out of an uncharted island by gathering differrent items in 11 stages of the game. But watch out for those blocks, they could be trouble! The bonus rounds are a bit hard, but hey, you can deal! This game rocks! It's enteraining, graphic rich, the perfect video game! Don't quit when you're stuck, because your prize is worth while!

Cube Frenzy is a Tetris-like puzzle game with a very high cute factor! I was at first interested in this game because I am a big fan of Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty and Badtz Maru. I was happy to find that it is not only fun, but challenging too. As you beat each level, you get different Kitty's to play with and in Extra mode you unlock different characters too. I like to play as Purin! Anyways, the most challenging is to play on the "Hard" difficulty level because you have to obtain all the prizes in a certain order. Also, the music really stays in your brain, which may be a blessing or curse... you decide! :)

This is a very cute little organizer, and uses two 1.5v batteries, FYI...so it is actually pretty easy to replace them. You can also remove the calculator/matchmaker and put your favorite picture on the front page which would then show through to the cover. Super cute and useful as an organizer and address book!

Hello Kitty Match Maker Journal Organizer is the best toy I own.But it would even better if I knew which battery I need to replace it with.I mean I used it only for 2 wks and the battery wore out.I haven't been able to use it for over a year now.But as a faithful fan I never give up on Hello Kitty.So as a further notice please tell the purchaser which battery will need to be use.Because I miss match making my friends with people.

Where do you get off putting such garbage out on the market to completley influence innocent little minds??? You printed an age of 8-14 years on a toy that is going to tell them about their love life? What eight year old has a love life? What 9 year old? 10? 11? 12? Well..maybe. Maybe. Not to mention Hello Kitty endorsing it. I will NEVER buy any of your products ever again. And I pray that this product will be taken off the market for that age level. If not all together.Kids get enough influence, they don't need a computer to tell them how they really are. Let them figure that out for themselves.

I can leave my hello kitty lamp on for 12 hours it never burned a hole in the shade! it gives off a lot of light!

I have had this lamp for over a year,to its credit. However, the other day it got left on longer than usual and it burned a hole through the shade. Kind of scary for an active childs room.Better for child over 6.
