Lots of play value!We gave this to our six year old daughter last Christmas and she has played with it all year. Yes, it requires a one-time set-up, but the instructions are straight forward. I did pause over the price, but I'm really glad we bought it: its been played with all year. I love the Playmobil toys because there is so much room for imaginative play. Our daughter and a friend played with this toy for over an hour today!

My son loves this!Because this toy comes in a "kit" form, i.e., has to be assembled, my son and I had a great time not only playing with it but putting it together! He is totally enthralled with all the parts and pieces, and the price is reflected in the amazing attention to detail. It's a great gift and I will definitely be purchasing other playmobil toys. (Keep in mind, with lots of small pieces, it's not the best toy if you have young toddlers)

overratedI had no idea this toy had to be built. I was very disappointed about this. That was the last thing I wanted to do on christmas morning and the day after, was to be building this farm. It's ingeniously made, alot of detail, and really cute. My kids have fun with it. It's alot smaller than I thought it would be too. For that price, I thought it would be alot bigger; more substantial. Don't think I'd ever buy another set.

Grandkids love the gameI bought the game for Christmas for my 4 and 7 year old grandchildren. They love the game. It is simple enough to understand the rules, and is fun even for us grandparents to play the game with them. I am considering getting one for my home to be available for them when they come to our house.

DetailThis is a very detailed model horse. Owning a American Saddlebred myself, I was amazed at the detail, the tail beging a bit wavy and the shape of the body, its a very nice a model.

The Gray MareThis mare is one of Breyer's best. She is in a slow walking pose and has her front and rear leg up in a stepping motion. She has one white sock on her front leg. She has white lip markings too. She is gray with a darker gray mane and tail. This gray mare is pure Breyer magic.

The Spotted KingHe is very pretty. He is in a slow cantering motion. He is grey around the head,neck,front legs, and back legs. He has a white rump with dark black spots all over his body. He has 4 black stockings on all 4 of his legs. A must for all.

Arapaho - Spotted Horse Of the PlainsArapaho is a Breyer, so you can expect all the quality the name has long stood for. A wildly colored horse, Arapaho was released in 2003 as part of their early release, and his description basically said that he is used for trick riding in the plains as part of the Riata Ranch. He's done displays all over the U.S., and this mold and color in particular are very popular.
The Breyer horses are not usually very durable, which is why Arapaho doesn't have a high score, and unless you read a lot about him, he has a small education value. He could be used for a toy, although it's not highly recommended, but it doesn't matter to a person who plays with them and just uses their imagination. Arapaho also has some collecting value in the market - overall, an excellent addition to a collection or a toy box.

My Daughter Loved It!I bought this last Christmas for my 7 year old daughter, who is horse-crazy and also likes to make things. The wood is so lightweight that you can make refrigerator magnets from the horses. She had a lot of fun making these and gave a couple of her creations as gifts. There are suggestions on how to paint them or the child can use their own ideas. I would buy similar kits again.

Fun, but doesn't last long.My daughter (5) got this for Christmas and liked it a lot. In fact, it was the first toy she played with. The horses were fine and there was plenty of paint, etc. Just don't expect that this is going to take a lot of time. Young children will probably slap some paint on the horses and that will be it.

BeautifulThis model is simple, graceful, and beautiful! The pony is a bay well-collected Hunter Show Pony. The braided mane is a wonderful touch, as is the cute stocking on the left hind leg. The short tail is so adorable! Just a great collecting or playing item.
(The only reason I have 4 stars for durability is because I think all Breyers are generally fragile. It's nothing with this model in particular)

Pretty pony is a great toy for all kidsi love this horse and he is beautiful and looks so graceful. i love playing with it and it is so realistic that sometimes i just sit and admire it.

A great toy for kidsThis toy was so cool I played with for hours. I would recamend this toy for any child who likes horses they should bake a bay or foal kind. They should also make a stables so if someone has all the horses that could fit all the houses in it.

Horn broke off before we had it out of the packageI bought this for my daughter's 6th birthday. She loves unicorns and is pretty bummed that one of them is now "just a horse" because it's horn snapped off as we were taking it out of the box! These are cute, but seeing them up close I see they are cheap, ecspecially considering it barely bumped the side of the box to make the horn come off. If I had seen these up close in the store, I would not have paid more than $10 for them. It's too bad there aren't more unicorn toys out there.

Best Toy Ever!My husband and I bought the Pink Pony for our friends' daughter's first birthday. Not being parents ourselves, we weren't sure if it was safe or fun enough for a one year-old's gift, but it was perfect! Her face lit up and she got right on it. She mostly scoots on the pony, rather than rocking on it. It's been a year now, and I hear she still loves it!
Honestly, it was just so cute that I couldn't pass it by. It's very small in reality -- just the right size for a little tyke to saddle up on.

Daughter loves it but not made for the ages recommended.My daughter got this toy for her 1st birthday. We tried it out at Toys R Us before buying it. She LOVES rocking on it more than pushing around on it. Though she does like other people pushing her. The problem is, at 20 months old, she loves rocking on it so much that she flips it over regularly, causing her to go flying forward. (into the pillows strategically placed after the first time this happened). Now my child is a bit bigger than average and a dare devil, but be warned your child will be lucky to be able to use it to 2 years old. It is a great toy while it lasts and it is very durable, I'd just like to know who makes these recommended ages for use.

It rocks....My 12 month old daughter received it as a gift for her first birthday....i thought she might be too young to sit on it but she does just fine. She loves riding on it more than the rocking.Since the base is so close to the ground there is not too much of a rocking motion. But nevertheless it is still fun. The horse does sing and makes some other noises.All in all, a good buy/gift.
