      Dandi Indeed!
We purchased a variety of twin pack Dandi Little Horses as favors for a Birthday party. They were an instant hit with the children who ranged in age from 3years to 13 years. The expressions on the ponies' faces, the bright colors of the Indian blankets and moreover the meticulous markings on the horses themselves make these more than playtoys, they qualify as collector's items. The colors on the coats of these horses are true to life and the texture of their velvety coats and manes are made for touching and petting. Unlike some cheap flocking glued over plastic that is easily rubbed off, these velvet coats are dense and believable and don't rub off. We all loved these Dandi Little Horses and they are now the basis for building a complete set.

        Dangerous probing ear
My 20 month old daughter received this for Christmas. At first we thought it was the best gift ever but when she got on and started rocking we realized she could send the wooden ear through her chin, eye or mouth. We sent it back soon after. It's nice that Radio Flyer still makes the classic toys but I think it's a huge safety hazard.

One flaw in a perfect toy
I bought this rocking horse for my niece, and she adores it! I love the beauty and durability of its classic wooden structure. It has one major flaw, however. It's in the 'saddle', which is attached by two long wood screws that go up through a block into the bottom of the saddle. Unlike the rest of the horse, the base of the saddle is plastic. It didn't take very long at all for an industrious toddler to tear the saddle free. Fortunately, adults were watching and we retrieved the 2" sharp screws before she could play with them.

        Great LITTLE horse!
We bought this horse for my daughter's first birthday. While it was a bit too big for her then, now, at 18 months, she enjoys it a lot more. The horse is great looking and very classic. It is smaller than we expected, but the small size makes it great for keeping it out of the way. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. Our only complaint is that the plastic "saddle" is a bit hard and doesn't look too comfortable. (Thank goodness diapers provide a little padding!) We are sure our daughter will get many years of use out of the horse, or "rocky" as he has been named.

          Great Fencing!
This is a great fence for kids who love to set up plays with barns!(I do) It makes a great pasture or riding arena! (4 stars for edu. because how can a model fence be edu?)It is not really model showing quality however because it not very realistic. I recomend getting this for play and not for showing.

          The Little Wooden Fence
The gates and fences are hard to set up and they fall back down easily. Best for modeling not play.

            The Barn
My barn gives me a place to play with my horses. It is very strong, but its not to heavy for me to carry. I love it!

              Fun, I guess
Walter Farely's Flame is a loved character for many people, but the model of the Island Stallion is not as good as it could be, in my opinion. The model makes him look a bit fat. He is more of somthing to look at, rather then play with. If you have a Black Stallion/ Island Stallion loving child, the toy is fine, but the parent of a regular horse crazy kid might consider somthing that one can actually put a bridle on.

Walter Farley's Flame Come To Life
Flame from Breyer is a very neat toy, and he is very durable. The effort made into this toy has made him very lifelike. I have read the book, too, and I love the way Walter Farley writes. Flame is in just the right pose, because he looks alittle aggressive, and that is how the real Flame acts.

                Bad Toy!?
Yeah, that first review {in the over thirteen section} did stink,"stupid psychologist!", besides, would you really rather let the kids play with those "destroyer of everything" acton figures with the guns and knifes!? I mean, This has no violent content, just three cute animals made to inspire a child`s imagination, a classical childrens toy!

                Great for collectors
I have been wanting this set for a long time and I finally got it! I am a collector of Breyers and this horse really caught my eye. His pose is wonderful and his tail is beautiful. He is so unique because of his hunter "clip" that looks flashy! I admire all Breyers for being so realistic, but this one takes the cake. This horse looks great modeling on my shelf.
However, his pose might make him a little difficult for children to play with. The fox and the dog are an appropriate addition, but I can't find much to do with them. (Although I'm sure kids would like them more)

This horse is so handsome. He is a good addition to any collection and I think he is worth the price.

                Get over yourself!
I live in fox hunting country, so I felt it necessary to conteract the other reviewer. Most all fox hunts today are NO KILL. The foxes are not harmed and the riders are not armed. It's a traditional country sport mostly done for the fun of riding. Obviously, the previous reviewer knows absolutely nothing about this sport.

                  Erm..
The problem with Breyer is that they are now starting to focus a LOT on the display factor instead of the durability for children. I think this item should be mostly for older kids and collectors. It is great to play with, but is outragously expensive...and you can't even do anything with it without the car, which is like another [$$$]!

This horse trailer is very delicate.
I purchased this horse trailer for my 8 year old daughter thinking that a brand name such as breyer would be worth the $... I paid. My daughter began playing with her horses and new trailer and within 10 minutes the latch for the rear door broke. I glued the latch and gave it back to her. The next thing that broke was the ring that the little chain hooks into, also within 10 minutes. My daughter is not a rough child and rarely breaks a toy, so I am very disappointed in this product.

                  Nice Trailer
This is a very realistic horse trailer and is very detailed. It is large enough for full size model horses, and pretty well made. The only part not made very well is the butt chain---it is a bit flimsy and I found it to be a little difficult to latch and unlatch. The only other drawback to this trailer is that currently there is no matching truck made to pull the trailer! Hopefully, they will come out with one, and I hope Breyer collectors will email the company to request one be made (I've sent in my request already!) Over all, it's a very nice trailer!

                    A Big Dissapointment
(I am a horse person so sorry if some of the terms like "splint boots" "martingale" and "bell boots" go over your head...)

I was totally looking forward to getting this set for my 9 year old daughter. She loves all the little Breyer accessories and usually really enjoys them. This particular set I was very dissapointed in. First, Jackie came to me almost in tears because she was so frusterated she couldn't get the splint boots on. My husband and I both tried and let me tell you - it was near IMPOSSIBLE. The splint boots should have some sort of velcro like the bell boots but instead you have to get these TINY leather straps through TINY little buckles. It got all of us frusterated. I had to take the splint boots away from her to see if her father could improve them somehow (it turns out he couldn't). Then, shortly after, poor Jackie came to us again...this time with the martingale. It turns out the only great quality Breyer bridle she had couldn't work with this martingale. You see, the bridle's noseband MUST be adjustable! The part of the martingale that attaches from the chest to the nose has to go through a part of the bridle (the noseband).

The bell boots and the saddle pad are fine, thank goodness.

I do NOT recommend this product for your children. Not only could you have the above listed problems, but the parts are very small. If your child doesn't swallow them they will SURELY loose them quickly.

                    Accessory Set
This is a very cute Idea for a accessory set. Although when i got it, i tried the eq. boots on my horse and the little leather straps broke. And a year or so later the martingale strap came unglued too. Although the pad & bell boots are still in great shape. This isnt very durable because of it's size, so it wouldnt be a good item to play with.

My Little Pony: Celebration Castle with Pink Sunsparkle Pony
                    Made by Hasbro
                    Age Group: 4 - 7 years
                      Amazon base price: $34.99
                      List price: $39.99 (that's 13% off!)
"Sunsparkle" Pony's Celebration Castle requires basic construction, but putting it together with a grownup will be a fun adventure, as Pony lovers see the charming structure taking form. Once finished, "Sunsparkle" (an included and somewhat rare Pony) can happily trot around her master bedroom, vanity room, disco, kitchen, and a bathroom. Each room features furnishings or appliances that have clever innovations, such as a stove that doubles as a kitchen sink. There's also a working elevator, full-length mirror, hot air balloon, two balconies, tableware, Pony clothing, and a brush for "Sunsparkle's" mane. As a gift, a sparkling pink, child-sized crown is included. To top it all off, the castle features charming music and flashing lights on the disco dance floor! Required: 3, 1.5-volt "AA" batteries. not worth the money or time
My daughter just turned 4 and loves my little Ponies. She got this as a gift (despite the reviews) and hasn't played with it since we put it together, which was time consuming oh and the stickers, c'mon why aren't they prelabeled? She takes her ponies and plays with them in her durable doll house.
Something on this castle falls apart as soon as you touch it. It's a cute idea, just very poorly made.

                      This toy is crap!
My 3 yo has been dying for this castle for her ponies...we used it as major bribe for potty training...We opened up and went through the nightmarish installation process...could you add any more stickers? But the worst part is that the whole thing falls apart constantly! The stupid balloon landing turrets on the top have NO attachment so they fall off when you barely bump it or try to play...the elevator sticks...the frames around the windows fall off...the balloon falls apart...the front walkway and back staircase fall off...the spinning dance floor covers up the door music heart so you cannot operate the music with the dance floor on...the dance floor does not work in the turrets as stated since it is just too awkward to spin...the crown will not stay together...I should have read the reviews on toysrus.com before buying it since any were bad, but I never dreamed it would be so bad...Does Hasbro care nothing about who they are creating these toys for? My daughter loves her ponies and I have had fun collecting them for her...it is sad that the castle is such a disgrace...but my Daughter is happy to have it, would cry if I returned it and I guess I will have to glue down as many of the pieces as I can...(...)

This Toy is tons of Fun for Pony Lovers
Okay I have read all the other reviews, and much of it is true, it was a pain to put on all the stickers, the elevator doesn't move very well, and you are better off if you glue on some of the pieces, and definitely pitch the crown thing. But all that being said, I am so glad that Santa brought this for my daughter. She is still playing with it almost daily. And nothing has broken either. Yes some things needed to be glued on to stay but big deal, they didn't break they just came off and after a little super glue they are fine. The castle is so much fun, the way it plays music and lights up when a pony crosses the entrance is great. And I think the baby pony was the highlight of Christmas for my daughter. So my point is, yes it is a bit of a pain to set up for parents, but not as bad as some make it sound and it is worht it. Also save your pony-points (www.mylittlepony.com) and send for the mat of Ponyville. It has a spot for the castle, the cafe and the salon, it is really cute. We have the whole thing set up on her playtable (a train table basically)
