I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old & she loves it. However, I find it totally frustrating that the rooms & roof don't lock together well-am I doing it wrong??? They come apart very, very easily, a big downfall when she has 2 younger brothers.... I'm seriously considering glueing it together, does anyone have any suggestions? If this problem was solved it would be an excellent dollhouse.

I bought this dollhouse for my grandaughter and she has not stopped playing with it, unlike some other very expensive toys that I have bought for her. Her sister and mother love playing with it as well! Therefore, I am frustrated that I can't find the nursery, powder room and family figures that go with this. I would enjoy adding these features if they ever become available. However, my grandaugher is not complaining. She loves it as is!

After much thought I decided to purchase this doll house for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas. I liked that some of the furniture comes out and that some doesn't, because I figured it would be impossible for her to lose atleast SOME of the pieces and she could still take enough out to play with and have fun. As it is I need not have worried. She loves the doll house so much she plays with it every day and takes very good care of it. I just ordered the dining room to add to her house for Valentines. The only thing I don't like about it is that the other rooms have been hard to find. She has really wanted the bathroom and the nursery and both are sold out. If anyone knows where I can get one.....

This toy is marvelous! It hsa so many things I would never expect from a dollhouse. It took me almost an hour to get in the walls they are so hard. I will not be changing the wallpaper for a while. The rest of the toy is magnificent and I hope I will receive the rest of the set for Christmas. Buy this toy, it will be great for Christmas!

My daughter and I, (both adults) absolutely love the Laura Ashley doll house rooms. We purchased the 4-room doll house and the powder room, 2-level foyer, and the dining room, a few weeks ago. They were at our local ToysRUs store. We have been just thrilled with these rooms. The only problem is, finding separate rooms. Since the Laura Ashley line doesn't offer the bedrooms, (teen-age girl & master) outside of the 4-room house, we went searching at other toy stores. The company that makes these houses, (Toy Island) also makes the Room By Room doll house rooms!!! They are almost identical to the Laura Ashley line and are completely compatible. They can be found mostly on-line through Sears Wish Book (they have all of the rooms (12 in all) and through KB Toys online as well as other toy suppliers on the web. With Laura Ashley and Room By Room doll house rooms combined, we have a virtual doll mansion. Recently, I ordered the gymnasium, entertainment room, kitchen, and bathroom from the Sears Wish Book Catalog.Our dollhouse has grown from the seven Laura Ashley rooms to a larger mansion with multiple bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. So, if you are looking for additions to your Laura Ashley line and can't find them or if you need more than what Laura Ashley offers, start adding the Room By Room line because they are compatible and you won't be disappointed. The details Laura Ashley provides are second to none. The sound effects are just as wonderful and the colors and changeable decor pieces are more than you could ever dream of. Have fun, get both the Laura Ashley and the Room By Room pieces and you will have the doll house of a lifetime. We enjoy ours even though we are "old girls". We use the miniature Bratz girl dolls as our little residents for the mansion. They fit perfectly and they love their palatial estate !!!! Recently we had to purchase another doll bed so we were fortunate to find that Fisher Price has a bedroom set and it fits right in with everything else. It's a treasure hunt when you start looking for more accessories and stuff but well worth the effort. Have fun !!!!

My 9 year old cousin loves her new Laura Ashley doll house. But we are disappointed that we cannot find any extra rooms that are in stock. Everywhere we have checked they are no longer available. What good is it to have this if you can't buy more accessories for it?
