No one, child or adult, will be able to resist the charm of this Madeline Tea Set. The china cups bearing Madeline's smiling face are scaled down to a diminutive 1.5 inches in diameter, and the teapot itself is not much larger. Genevieve the dog, bedecked with a yellow bow, prances daintily across each of the saucers. Should anyone care for a tea-time snack, the set includes four complements of 3.5-inch utensils, checkered napkins for wiping away crumbs, and a tablecloth on which to dine. When tea time is over and the dishes have been washed, everything packs away neatly in a wicker case with handles and a metal clasp. Taking tea and a story with Madeline is the perfect way to spend any afternoon. Color and style may vary.

FABULOUSMy daughter has just received this tea set as a birthday present from her aunt. She is only two but she loves this set. It is so precious. Yes its porcelain but it is thick. I have as much fun playing with it as she does. She enjoys the fact that she can carry it around because the basket has handles. This is a great toy and I hope that my daughter has it so that she can pass it on to her daughter, it's a timeless piece.

Delightful new doll!I'm delighted with this new doll! Her expression is sweet, her little hands beautifully scupted--her right hand can hold a purse or bag. Her knees bend and she's all vinyl. She may be able to wear some Tiny Betsy clothes. I've found 2 female and 1 male companion doll for her. An excellent doll for the price!

Wonderful for the imaginationThis range of Felt boards are fantastic. Once you have one, you can mix and match all your felt sets or even use your felt pieces on a felt easel if you have one.

The Felt pieces are made of good quality felt - depending on the piece some have been printed on and others left plain and they can be overlapped and moved about as much as your imagination allows. It's a wonderful tool to get your child to tell you a story about the picture they made.
What I like about them is each set comes with a special carry bag made of plastic. The felt pieces can be stored in side - zipped locked with a easy to use slide lock and then clipped onto the handle of the felt board. This is perfect to carry around the house or even to Grandma's or to keep your little one busy in the car or while waiting for food at a restaurant.

That marvelous mademoiselle with the magnetic personality--the star of books and her own movie--is presented here in a playset with 19 flat magnetic pieces and a folding, reversible diorama. Madeline is 5 inches tall and dressed in her undies (with that famous appendix scar just peeking out). She comes with an assortment of magnetic clothing (dresses, hats, a coat, and pajamas) and accessories, such as schoolbooks and an umbrella. Her dog, Genevieve, is included to accompany Madeline on adventures around Paris (or maybe just across the refrigerator door, as the magnets work on that surface, too). Cute!I bought this playset for my four year-old daughter last Christmas and she loved it. It is made of heavy plastic, the kind used to make refrigerator magnets. As a matter of fact, it can even be played with on the refrigerator. This set comes with a hard cardboard backdrop with a cute outdoor setting of Paris by the Eiffel tower that one can put Madeline in. Flip it over, and she is indoors in her bedroom where your angel can choose to dress her in pajamas and bunny slippers. Madeline comes wearing undershirt and panties but you can see a hint of a scar on her belly from her appendectomy.
Other fashions include her school uniform, French outfit, dressy dress, pajamas and other accesories. It's the paper dolls concept using refrigerator magnets instead, making a more durable toy.

Darling interactive toy!I bought this outfit for another doll, and it's been great fun! at 10 dollars you get an outfit, a hat and a scooter!!! my little tiny betsy doll (tonner doll company) has been having fun all summer in this outfit. i like the patriotic/sailorish quality that it has too. i've been impressed with the madeline doll line before (when it was produced by eden toys) and am still impressed now (production taking over by learning curve). oh yes-- and the new packaging is BEAUTIFUL, and i LOVE the hanger they include! :) wonderful.
i can't wait to share my madeline collection with my little girl someday (not yet even conceived and i KNOW this stuff will last :) i have madeline, pepito and miss clavel, lots of outfits and even some of the furniture- i'm never disappointed. enjoy!

MadelineI was disappointed with the quality of this item. The dancing Madeline would not consistantly spin and play music, she needed a good hard tap to get her going. I returned her for this reason. I also thought the outside decoration was cheap--it just seemed to be glued on. I did think the interior was nice as was the pull out drawer. I might have kept it if it worked properly.

Lovely gift for a little girlIt has been 3 weeks since my daughter received this for her 4th birthday. The other toys are played with on different days, but this is the only gift that is, without fail wound, opened, and closed each nite without fail. Wonderful twist on the old balerina style, much more meaningful to a madeline fan. She carefully places her little rings, bracelets and necklaces in there designated spot each nite (never could get her to put them away before!) Really charming, any Madeline fan would be pleased.

A beautiful little must-have for any Madeline fan!From the moment my 3 1/2 year old opened this and the little figure began to twirl around to her beloved "Madeline" song she was enchanted. It has a little drawer on the bottom (that is used for various treasures) and a ring compartment and several other dividers on the top for jewelry or hair clips and such. Unfortunately, the beloved box was left on the floor and accidentally stepped upon by big brother which totally broke off the top of the box. Dad was actually able to glue it back together and it almost looks and works like new! Pretty enough to perch on a bookshelf for display and use!

This 15-inch soft, stuffed Madeline will appeal to younger girls who might have trouble dressing the smaller, 8-inch Madeline doll. The larger Madeline is made of flesh-toned cotton with embroidered facial features, and dark red yarn hair. She's wearing her traditional outfit from the books, with the exception of her dress having a Velcro back closure. Over her dress, Madeline wears her favorite blue felt coat, which has big, shiny black buttons that little girls can handle themselves. Her outfit is completed with white tights, nonremovable white socks, and black felt shoes. The top collar of her coat is inconveniently sewn shut with a few tightly sewn threads, which can be carefully removed by an adult. Cute, Huggable, and Great for Motor SkillsThis soft doll is a great introduction to dolls for a toddler. The clothes you can buy for it are adorable, and my 3-year old niece loves changing her clothes for every occasion.
The doll is big enough that young hands can handle taking the clothes on and off. If your youngster already has the Madeline books or video, then she will enjoy the doll even more.
The face on this doll is very appealing, and there are no hard edges to detract from its "huggableness."
I was impressed with the quality of the clothes sets. My niece may be too young to appreciate the detail of the ribbon flowers on the tea dress or the ribbon trim on the ballerina dress, but I'm not!

Cute...It is a cute little doll, but I liked it more than my daughter. She was scared of it. :o) We are hoping that she warms up to it when she gets a little older. For now it is on a shelf in her closet.

A Fun Box for Your Little Madeline LoverI bought this for my 5 year old daughter a few months ago, and she loves it! She carries all her "treasures" in it. The colorful drawings on the outside are magnificent. It really is reminiscent of an old fashioned metal lunchbox. But, I believe it is intended as a "keepsake" box, not a lunchbox. That's why there is no thermos. END

Darling carry-all !My daughter considers this adorable tin box her purse -- and why not? She carries her special items in it -- crayons, hairclips, drawings, rings and even a pocket-size Madeline book. Very sweet. END

Madeline storybook dollhouseI initially bought my 7-year-old daughter this house as a holiday gift. I decided to wait to give it to her since I'm not sure that this toy would be a better alternative to the original house, which by the way is now nicer looking with the entrance at the side (instead of the front), nicer backgrounds to rooms, and a staircase. I also bought all the furniture for every room, including the classroom. This brings me question whether or not I should keep this toy as all the furniture would have to be added and removed every time she wanted to play with it. I thought of possibly leaving it out; however, the size of it makes it impossible. I am considering returning it and purchasing the original dollhouse (note: difference in price $20 on sale as compared to $100).

I don't like the new facesI don't like the new faces. They don't look like the book. I wish they had not stopped making the other ones. The new ones are ugly. My mom and I are shopping and buying the discontinued stuff because it is much better.

If You Didn't Like the Old DollI have loved the little clothes for the 8 inch Madeline for awhile, but I have never been fond of the cartoon look of "classic Madeline". I was thrilled to see a face mold that I believe is cuter and has more personality. In addition to the new face mold changes, this new version has arm joints that allow the doll to move her arms up and down as well as side to side. She also has a torso joint that allows her to twist her waist from side to side. If you didn't like the old doll, this new doll is a fresh approach, and she can still wear the old classic 8 inch doll clothes.
