Fun for the whole familyWe got this for Christmas and have played it many times already. From an educational perspective, it develops the kids'imagination, drawing skills and memory. From a fun perspective, it is an awesome game for the whole family! It's one of the few games my husband and I truly enjoy playing with the kids. I don't know why they have an upper age of 6/7 - I would say more like 99!

OH MY GODOH MY GOD!!! I got this game for X-mas a couple years ago, but never had a chance to play it with anyone. Then this week my grandparents came to visit. One night we decided to play cards. I got out my Harry Potter Uno cards, and we had a BLAST! It was so much fun! Everyone enjoyed playing it. We stayed up until midnight playing, and we had started at 8! Lets just say it kept us busy.....
Oh, and I agree with the guy... why would you play in a dimly lite room?
I recommend this to all ages. You will have sooo much fun, trust me.

Played it today and really enjoyed itUno has always been a fun game. It isn't very complicated or cerebral, which is why it's fun for kids and even adults when some light diversion is needed. The idea of theme decks is a nice touch, and most themes are lent to a specific set of house rules.
I played Harry Potter Uno with a few other people today, and everybody had a great time. The Howler and Invisibility cards were a nice variation, and we made up Hogwart-esque penalties for certain situations. The nice artwork on the cards took a bit of getting used to, but everybody quickly made the adjustment. If you or your kids like Harry Potter or Uno, this deck is great idea.

great for 5-7 year olds!~My son is in kindergarten and is enjoying his leapster!~! Along with the cartridge that comes with the leapster he also recd 1st grade! although it is not totally curriculum based he has the skills needed to use it without help!

A little less educational than I thought...Though we love Leapster, I was a little disappointed in this cartridge. I do not believe the first grade cartridge addresses enought first grade skills - i.e. limited phonics skills, and only the very basics of first grade math. I didn't feel this cartridge challenged my child like I wanted it to, and having taught first grade for many years, I thought the cartridge would address a broader range of skills reaching to the end of first grade materials. It seems to only hit on beginning first grade skills and here we are in the middle of the year! It is fun and he does enjoy it... but I am already waiting for the second grade cartridge to be released because he is ready for more.

Finally! A Good, Fun Horse Game!Yes! Finally, a good horse game. It is very hard to find a horse game that is fun and not on the computer, but here it is! In Gallop Home, you roll a dice and go around a board, collecting points for training your horse and taking care of it. You can choose from four horse bust pawns, there is a Arabian, Thoroughbred, Freisan, and a Paint. Beautiful little things! They look so lifelike. The board is beautiful and well put toghether, a nice theng to look at. The only downside of this game was that it is just a little confusing, but if you have younger kids, they have simpler rules than the originals, and once you play a full game the rules make sense. Overall, I give this game a 10!

WOW!! My 8 year old LOVES thisI bought this for my 8 year old daughter and she loves it. It is 2 full length shows (minus the commercials) in color. You can rewind, fast forward, pause, restart, and stop. The volume is not too loud. These videos only play on the screen of the GB Advanced. No need for the portable DVD player or the Video Now. My daughter is now trading videos with her friends...I am VERY happy with the quality, price, and entertainment value of this product!
Great EpisodesThis GBA Video has great episodes from All Grown Up, which is one of my favorite tv shows on Nick. The episodes include: Coup De Ville- which is about Lil not wanting to be known forever as Phil's twin. The other episode is Susie Sings the Blues- in which Susie is confronted by a talent agent who says she has the voice of fame. This is great for everyone who has a GBA because now it is also almost like a portable DVD player!!

Yeahhh,,, ok, it was fun, butThe best games are simple and yet offer endless variety. This game wasn't too complicated to figure out, it was just too complicated for simple mindless party play, and this is definately a large party/group type game.
With a small group, this game wouldn't work at all.
Another note, it's not a game that plays as well with strangers as it does with close friends and family. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to consider.
I'm not saying it isn't fun, it just wouldn't be my first choice.

Is this worth it?Let me tell you, DexDrive is worth every single penny you spend. Just the memory card on your hard drive feature is worth it. With it, you have unimaginable number of memory card. And with the addition of online download and upload, it is like addition of infinity new possibilities. you could download other gamers rpg games, you could show the world your wrestling character creations, and you could even download GameShark cheat codes off the net. I have played an rpg for five straight days in a row to find out my file was corrupted, so I got so discuraged, that I stopped playing, but with dexdrive, I downloaded someone elses file at the exact same location. DexDrive was not only a lifesaver for me, but a lifegiver, I gave files to others who were totally frusterated, and it made them totally happy. Trust me, if you own a Playstation, get this.

No more Batteries!I bought it for my kids. They go through batteries like water. Only peeve is its a little bulky. I also like that the adapter can be used on the gameboy itself.
A Must HaveEven though I haven't got one yet I have tried it out and it is the best! No more wasted batteries! You can play up to ten hours without stopping. The handy power is really dandy. It is also rechargble. So if you you have a Color Gameboy, Get This!

Best Jurassic Park Game even today.After this game the Jurassic Park game franchise has gone down. Savage had a very good Jurassic Park game for the Playstation 2 called Survival but it was cancelled by Universal only two weeks before its release. Even now ...with all the new technology this is still the best Jurassic Park game. You get to play as Allan Grant or a Raptor. Overall this is a very fun game. They should make a new 3D game just like this. Until they do I love this game.

best mechwarrior model I gotThis mech is awesome, it can pack a punch, and take the abuse. If you want a 'quick buid' model, but if you want a model to keep you buisy get this one, the Shadow cat, and Mad cat. Also kudos to knex, for they have the idea to have instructions to build 2 mechs.
P.S. I don,t like the owens at all. Bad weapons decent speed and worse armor make it a quick kill (not a quick killer, a quick kill)

ReviewIt's really cool and the kids love, it although it's not that educational.
But I think most kids (and parents) will like this game for several reasons: It is a very simple game: one picks a card, then draws the picture shown on the card; one re-tells whatever that has been said by others in the right order, then one makes up a one-sentence story that includes the picture drawn. It is an ever-changing game: depending on which card is drawn and how one makes up the story, each game is different. If a parent (or a quick thinking kid) can inject an unexpected twist now and then, the story can get hilarious. The game encourages imaginative thinking and helps kids learn story-telling (sequence, logic, interest etc). Age does not seem to matter in this game: 4 year olds can play along with teenagers and grown-ups (though some 4 year olds may need a little help drawing).
Highly recommend it.
