Everything in the game is great! all the destrotion the missions the cvombanations of parts you can make for your AC unit the weapons and all.

This is the game that started it all. If you can take the graphics out of consideration ( the graphics were stunning for that time period don't forget) the gameplay is fun and still holds up, even after I've played Armored core2 and Armored Core:Another Age on the PS2!

This game is really good. when compared to the newer games it stinks . If this is the first armored core game you get you will enjoy it. It does have fewer options than the newer games though.

The Battlezone Gold series is easily among my top 5 of all time. It's really best to get this Gold series because if you like Battlezone, which is an incredible mix of first-person drive/shoot and resource strategy, well, you'll want the expansion packs too. The single-player of BZ and its expansions is great! There's a great story to it with humor and real challenge. The interface becomes second-nature fairly rapidly. Once you've got that down, then you can challenge others in multiplayer. It is an absolute blast to play networked with friends. My friends and I have spent more than 2 years going at it with each other in this game, and it was greatly enhanced by the expansions, offering loads of great new single & multi-player maps plus new vehicles & buildings. It's an older game, but it won't feel like one. Just think of it as a great new gametype for some ridiculously low price. Be sure to look up the fan sites for tweaking support and even more content.

Of all of the strategy, tactics or first person games I own, this is the best and most often played. I have even tried BZ II and found it to come short of the original. There is not much I can add to the publisher's description above, however, I will say this: once you play you will be addicted. The challenge, no matter how many times I have won, is still there. This is the best entertainment investment I have ever made. I especially like two facets of the game. First, you have the option to play either the Americans or the Russians, you are not limited to one or the other. Second, there are support groups on the web that allow you to download new maps, map generators, etc. for endless hours of additional fun. Well worth the purchase price!

I am not a big fan of stragety games (command & conq., Starcraft) because I cannot seem to get the hang of it, and cannot micromanage fast enough to keep up. Also get bored after 15 levels of 1st person "killing sprees" and "jumping" puzzles. This game breaks that mode and offers alot of enjoyment and playability/"legs". Believe me, you will enjoy it! It run great on a 233Mhz with Voodoo2 card, and the vehicle "physics" will blow you away. Ever wondered what it would be like to drive on the moon? Missions are just the right length and offers a good story line. Don't believe me, just go to any gamer site and read the reviews.

I currently got a (...)greek chess set for my birthday and it is just increadible and has a lifetime warranty so I play a lot but you can't play speesd. I still would prefer it over this though just cause it's special. My teacher though has this exact chess set and he's a ok player (even though I am better than him). THis is something that will last a long time it even has a case wich is great so you can take it with youyou don't even have to adjust to different types of pieces.it's the best for normal use and this is like what pros use and trust me I know. I think the pieces weigh more but that does'nt matter at all. Perfect for begginers and great for the excperienced. The price is great and this is an investment if you want a two dollar thing. One or two of those cheep ones will last a while but only a couple. If you want one like that it's best when tyhere magnetic. But by chess means this set is cheep cause it's not one like mine but it's still a top of the line thing. (...) That was the only one more exspensive then mine.

I have known how to play chess since childhood. Well, I knew how to move the pieces and I knew the basic rules of the game.
I purchased an Excalibur set which is "triple" weighted. I know that this set is weighted but I'm not sure if it is only "single" weighted. Any way, my set is identical to this one if only different by weight.
I also purchased "the complete idiot's guide to chess.
The set is outstanding. The board is durable and lays flat after being stored rolled up. The board is large and has the ranks and files lettered and numbered which is a must have if you are learning. The pieces are a large comfortable size. They are nicely weighted and rugged. I would recommend this set (and book) to anyone who is learning how to play the game.

Before I bought this set and book, chess to me was a 13" black and white tv.
After I read the book and used the set along side, chess to me is 48" hdtv with surround sound.

Chess is a strategic game in which two armies of equal number of soldiers do battle. You must strategically place your men in sectors of the board. In this case, the leader is the king. The object is to make it impossible for the king to flee anywhere so that your army can destroy him. This is called checkmate.

This is my favorite game of all time. You have to think for yourself and know what the other player is going to do next in order to plan ahead for your next move. Therefore, deliciously having to think about more than one thing at a time. Each piece can move certain ways. Pawns move forward and take other paws diagonally forward. Queens have the most fun and kings are always getting cornered.

Now, the only time I always lost at this game was when playing with my ex boyfriend. You cannot play this game while in love, because you can't think and be in love at the same time. Just kidding, but it is a bit distracting to be looking into someone's eyes and trying to think about what your next move is going to be. Needless to say, it was inevitable that suddenly my queen had disappeared off the board! I hated that because that is such a versatile piece.

Well, if you are learning to play chess, this is a great set. You can then move on to bigger sets and perhaps even find a marble collectable set. A chess set looks so nice on a coffee table. That way it is always ready for a spontaneous match. Has anyone seen one made from "cat" images. If you see one let me know.

If you love chess, you might also like the book Alice in Wonderland which has all sorts of references and pictures of animated chess pieces. That is where I first learned about chess.

That about sums up the game! You are moving pieces and being aware of where you are moving them from. To not do so can be fatal. It can also be fatal if you move a piece and then back again and someone says, "no, you touched the chess piece so now you have to move it!" You might want to decide not to follow that rule when you first start playing and sometimes it is hard to see what will happen to a piece before moving it. In that case, if the person takes their hand off the piece, they just finished their turn.

There is quite a bit to learn. The most important things to start with are how the pieces move on the board, can they move forward only, take diagonally, etc. Once you learn how each piece moves and what the piece can do, you will enjoy the game so much more. The best way to learn this game is to play it and learn as you go. The second best way is to have a computer next to you to look up sites which talk about chess, so you can learn as you go.

This looks terrific on the bookshelf in my office. Everybody who comes in immediately comments on cool it is and grabs the authentic pieces.

This is both a great coffee table item and is both fun and whimsical. Good for the office or home. Breaks the ice in business meeting at work. Fun for gatherings at home and great way to teach young kids how to play tic tac toe.

As a conversation piece, if nothing else, you would be hard pressed to find a better looking Tic-Tac-Toe game. Adults will love the antique style while kids will love the airplane & automobile playing pieces. I did not realize something so simple as Tic-Tac-Toe could make such a great addition to my home! Make sure you check out the other Front Porch Classics' products as well.

i played this game for the first time with friends...after that i was begging my fiance to get it finally she caved and we cant put it down! great with friends!

We played this at Christmas with family and then had to go out and buy our own set. It is a perfect blend of game themes/styles. We have played it with people as young as 8 years old and they had fun as well. It is played with teams so everyone gets to feel included. :) A great buy.

My husband and I received 'Cranium' as a wedding present from a friend. One evening we had some friends over and we opened up the game and started playing... we LOVED it! It's a perfect mixture of Pictionary, Balderdash, Charades, Trival Pursuit and many others! My personal favorite is "Humdinger." It's the part of the game where a team member needs to hum or whistle a song that's on the card. The game is very entertaining and is guarenteed to get you laughing!

I just got it today(8-17-02)because it was my birthday.I beat level one to level five.You got to buy this game it is so cool.They even have mini games.Well remember buy it,because it's cool.

This game is awesome... This game's awesome! I love Bomberman! The main game is to lay down bombs and destroys enemies and stuff. It's hard(be prepared to scream at some levels), but it's fun. When a bomb explodes it goes in 4 directions(+). You need to steer clear(one hit k.o.) or you're toast! There's 80 levels divided up into 5 worlds. Each level has it's own mission(get the Karabon* from the teleporter, destroy all enemies, collect all Karabon food, etc). *Karabons are cute Pokemon-type creatures that you can collect, breed, train, and battle. There are 2 Bomberman games for GBA(excluding B-man Tournament), this one and Bomberman Max 2: Red Advance(starring Max!). If you link both of the games up you can unlock 20 levels! There's a single-pack 2 player game that's fun, but the main game is the heart of this game pack. With plenty of levels, great 2 player features, the super-cool Karabons, awesome mini games, and more, there's no reason not to pick this game up!

The title Max stands for something. That max is for max fun. It s unusual and fun game tactics make it worthwhile and fun. Its use of infrared technolgy makes it interesting. I highly recommend it for all action and RPG fans.

IF your a lover of the clasic bomberman style (i.e. top view) then you'le love this new GB game. Its a very fun game and challenging. You'le have a blast (no pun intended)!

If u liked the old Bomberman games you'le love this! Its the old school style of Bomberman from the top veiw! If your considering to buy this you should it is very FUN!

Overall, I would rate this game quite highly but there is one major problem with it - if you are playing at higher levels, the time the computer takes to respond can be lengthy - and if you force the computer to make its move quickly, it gets confused and makes really stupid moves (for example, giving-up its Queen).

Chessmaster for Gameboy has the same chess engine as the PC and Mac versions. I play it all the time, keeping my game sharp, and improving my skills. It's the best alternative when there's no computer access or nobody to play. I take it travelling with me and anytime I know I'll be stuck someplace waiting. And people don't look at you funny when they find out it's chess instead of Donkey Kong or Pac-Man!

I thought this game was really good, but the only bad thing is that you can't create a player like you can in the computer version. But otherwise, it's just the same.

This game is pretty good but I don`t know why This game is rated E for cartoon vioulence Because all you do is stomp and tail wip your enemies.

I got this game for my birthday and I loved it. Don't worry it is not frustrating like the one for playstation. In fact this game is so easy I finished the game in a hour and 30 minutes. To get access to a bonus level to get a gobbo you don't need five colored crystales you need five letters that spell bonus. Collet 100 crystals to get a extra life. But for sure this croc game is much better than the one for playstation.

This game is really cool. I knew I would enjoy it the minute I saw the cartridge box. The game has cute graphics and characters.
I once looked in my Pocket Games issue and the game had 6 out of ten! Can you believe it? The magazine treats every game like garbage! By the way, in my opinion this game is hard long challenging and entertaining. The story and plot is really cool.
This game is better than the Croc 2 sequel. If you want to by Croc 2 you should rent it first at Block Buster. This game has
smooth animation and game controls. Croc has a big variety of
abilities and has alot of neat moves. Everything in the game is
the best and it is better than the Playstation one. If you often
go on long trips you'll want this game in your hands. You should
by it for alot of fun. I recommend this game to everyone who has
a Game Boy Color or Game Boy Advance. By this game. It's waiting
for you.

I like it very much it is as fun as the firstone but the music is diffrent and so are a lot of the levels and they put new ones ENJOY
