The learning curve is really easy. You're divided into teams, one player is the sculpter and the other(s) are guessers. The sculpter is given a "clue" to sculpt and the first team to correctly guess the clue wins a point. Each clue card has 4 regular clues and 1 "rookie" clue, for kids or amature sculpters. I personally like to play to 5 points and then change teams and play a best of 3. It seems to be more fun the more different partners there are. The game comes with 4 tubs of scented dough. It's basically "..." with naturally scented ingredients. I'm told it's non-toxic and I have to admit it smells great. My personal favorite is Cherry. It really does smell like fresh cherries.
I've played Conjecture with both kids and adults. There's always lots of laughter. I love this game. For those of you playing with younger kids, the "rookie" clue is a great handicapping system. When I've played this way, the kids tend to win, which is good.
I'd be very surprised if anyone who plays this game does not enjoy it. I recommend this game to anyone.
Fun for kids and adults together! You need to have teams (of 2 or more) to play this game; we usually play one parent and one child per team. The "sculptors" on each team (team members take turns being the team sculptor) secretly look at a word, then they have to sculpt the object (or sometimes person or place--they can get tricky) using the included (unfortunately scented) playdough-like material, and try to get their team mate(s) to guess the answer first. Think 3-D Pictionary. We just play until we get to a predetermined number (say 10, or 5 or whatever) and then switch the teams.
Some of the clues are really tricky to make (eg, Elvis Presley), which makes the game challenging and funny. Each clue card has four trickier clues and one "easier" clue (for kids, eg, baseball bat, ice cream cone, etc). When we play one adult and one kid per team, we always use the easy clues, so the kids can guess/sculpt something with which they are familiar. We also play it as follows: my husband and I form one team, and we use the difficult clues, while our kids (ages 9 and 10) form a team and use the easy clues. This works well, and usually the kids win!
Unlike myself, my husband is not a game fanatic, nor are my kids, yet we ALL really enjoy playing this together. It's a nice change from board games, cards, etc, and highly recommended.

A note of caution: I'd recommend this game for high school players and older. A lot of the subject cards contain items that may be unknown to younger players (e.g., "Sigmund Freud", "Nadia Comaneci", "Radio Flyer", etc.).

ROOK is whatever you want it to be from simple to challenging. It teaches math and patience. It challenges your memory. It starts out with an appearance of a simple game. But let four old folks like us get the cards going and you soon realize it can also be a very deep game.
I highly recommend this wonderful family fun in today's world.
Our children started playing as early as 5 and caught on fairly quickly, growing to love the game. We were able to teach them about disappointment and failure along with the challenge to get right back in and try again. Anger was not allowed over loss or disappointment; teaching many lessons about anger management. With a little care and patient instruction, the early age allows for a great parental teaching tool ... anything from basic numbers to basic math skills ... adding and subtracting along with many life lessons that we found invaluable over the years.
Nearing retirement, my wife and I still play doubles and expand with each visit to include children and grandchildren. What began in my childhood has continued now to the fourth generation and includes the spouse of our children as well.
We recommend it very highly and believe you will learn to love it as much as we!

Awesome combination of DMC 1 & DMC 2!!
This ones bringing the series back to its roots
The series seeks redemption!!!DMC3 promises to return to its roots of stylish and fast action. The game revolves around the clash between the two sons of Sparda, Vergil and Dante. This prequel to DMC1 will explore both of their roots and explain all those plot holes the first one had. It will explain why and how Vergil and Dante were separated and cover more about their parents' deaths. One dark night, Vergil who is evil, materializes a top a gloomy tower in the city Dante lives in. A man called Arkham invites Dante to his twin brother's tower and then leaves as Dante's office is flooded by demons. In this game, Dante hasn't discovered his full powers yet; so wether or not devil trigger will be available is still unknown. The game will have one of the most jaw-dropping intro sequences ever but nothing like Onimusha 3 but still awesome. But the most attention-grabbing new feature in this new installment of the series is that it'll have four(or more if time permits)different styles: Gunslinger which will make Dante a specialist in firearms, Swordsmaster giving Dante more abilities on melee combat, Trickster allowing Dante to perform tricks like walking up walls and other sorts of interaction with the environment, and finally Royal Guard which specializes in hand-to-hand combat.
That is basically everything that is known about the game. But for full information visit www.gamespot.com or www.ign.com and make sure to go to www.gametrailers.com to check out the amazing trailer of this game. I can't give this game any stars because it hasn't come out yet, but I put five stars because this game is sure to redeem the series after DMC2's failure!!

The Dino Math Tracks game provides multiple levels of play for a variety of ages. At the simplest level (perfect for a first-grader who knows Arabic numerals and one-to-one correspondence), kids use only the place track for the 1s. Later, cards with simple problems are introduced ("Stuck in a tar pit! Move your 10s dino back two spaces!"). At the most advanced level, players might encounter a question like this: "Your 10s dinosaur forgot its pants, so it went back 15 to get them. Then it hurried forward 25. How far did it get? Move that many." Young players will find the 2-inch, spunky vinyl dinosaur playing pieces irresistible. The game offers plenty of opportunities for friendly competition and brain bending--not to mention lots of nonthreatening practice at addition and subtraction. --Julie Ubben

As a parent I highly recommend Dino Math Tracks because kids quickly learn a lot while having loads of fun. This game can be played at three levels, so it grows with your child.

A genuinely enjoyable little game! This particular title is one that I have yet to see in any of my local stores. And I've found genuinely mixed reviews for it. Some hated it, one adored it and another said that if you could get by certain graphical issues then there was fun to be had. Finally my curiosity got the best of me. I took the plunge and ordered it through amazon.com and hoped I wasn't frittering away my cash.
I'm happy to report that DISNEY SPORTS SNOWBOARDING is a genuinely enjoyable little game, very challenging and exciting, graphically beautiful (the graphics do look a tad blocky, but that's no big deal) and fun to play.
Now I'm not in a position to tell you how well it matches up to any other snowboarding titles out there. I've never played any. Heck, I haven't even had the opportunity to play any on any consoles since I'm not a sports buff. For me, it was the Disney name that lured me to this one. So I'm afraid I'm unable to say how well it plays when compared to such-and-such. All I can tell you is that it's a fun little game.
The graphics do a great job of rendering a 3D environment considering that they're done on a GBA, and the resulting look, feel and gameplay in "race" mode as you zoom through all the various stylized environments will remind you of such go-cart games as the excellent CRASH TEAM RACING, complete with being able to use weapons and spells with your magic board to defeat and/or knock out your opponent. It's proving itself to be quite the delicious little timewaster, and I'm pleased with it. Out of all the backgrounds, I especially love the "Starlight Express" race track, it looks gorgeous.
Oh yeah, and I want to assure the author of the other comment about the game who obviously hasn't played this one yet: yes, it *does* allow you to play Chip & Dale.
Disney goes at it again!
Snowboarding with Disney, NOT SSX, BUT SWEET 4-5!
What makes it good is everyone is playing at the same time, you don't have to sit around watching someone sculpt. It's exciting because everyone is racing to finish first all the time. Everyone seems to laugh at each others creations. Funny game!
Only small problem is after you've played for a while, the dough starts getting dry. You can add water, but have to do that more often if you keep using it. People liked the fruity scents of the dough.
