After my 10-year-old son spent the night at a sleepover his friend's mom told me that he actually passed on video games to spend hours playing a game with her, her husband, and thier teenager. Then she told me this amazing game that could entertain adults, teenagers, and 10 year olds for so long despite the call of video games was Mexican Train Dominoes! This version has colorful locomotive peices and an electronic locomotive that makes sounds, which goes over big with the younger crowd.

One of the household favorites, this game is enjoyed by three generations of family. Even the friends of our "cool teenagers" want to play when they come over to our house. We modify the rules a bit to suit the age and interest of the players. We even play an adult version when the kids are gone.

This is a GREAT "all ages" game. When grandpa & grandma come to visit, we ALL play! Even my 7 year old can play. He isn't fast enough to count a double 12 domino, but he matched the colors! They almost look forward to not being able to play so they can place the train & make the station hoot & whistle!

My wife and I purchased this game to play with our nephews and nieces when they visit. The kids have enjoyed it very much, and I like it a lot better than some of the other children's games because of the baseball references. It's been a lot of fun for all of us to play.

This game is educational fun for youngsters. It teaches them about primary colors and numbers, and introduces them to some of the basic terms of baseball (doubles, home runs, etc.). They also learn the names of today's baseball stars. Since there is no strategy involved, youngsters have as much opportunity to win as do adults playing against them. I also appreciate that the game parts are quite sturdy, and can easily be cleaned when the inevitable peanut butter or jelly gets on them. I highly recommend it.

I purchased the game for my son's 4th birthday and he likes it very much. It's a simple game (as it should be for 4 year olds). Basically, it's a race around the bases. It plays quickly so he doesn't lose interest before it's over - in fact we usually have to play twice. The board and game pieces are very bright with the primary color scheme that appeals to 4 year olds.

Most importantly, he is learning baseball terms and players. For his birthday I took him to his first game (Expos at the Phillies). We played the APBA game the next day and when he drew the Scott Rolen card, I pointed out we had seen Rolen play. Now every time he draws Rolen or Vladimir Guerrero, he points out that we saw them in the game we went to. He can even pronounce "Nomar Garciaparra"!

Good job by APBA. I think the game is well designed for the 4-7 age group.

Fun and a great game to play.! It is a little hard for younger children. But it teaches you how to use and save your money. Great!!!!!! The game is so cute with all of the dogs on the board!

This game is an adorable edition of the game Monopoly, but I see very little educational material unless you count adding the money etc. Still, this game is by far one of the most fun that I have played in a long time.

I find this game quite entertaining. This is very cute and if you buy this for your kid, they'll be delighted!

This game is totally awesome game. The music is cool, too. It is hard to play the first time, but eventually you can master it. I also love the fact that you can make your own tracks and play against other racers.

Motocross Maniacs comes speeding back with its second game! MM2 is just as great as the original. The color makes the game tons of fun, but not as much fun as the course editor. Once you've beaten all the courses, create your own and play again! Another great feature is the head-to-head link cable racing! BUY THIS GAME AND ENJOY!

This game is really intertaining and fun. It is pretty easy though. If you love racing and stunt games though you will love this game. It features a track you design and drive on. You can also plug in with a cable link and play each other.

This is by far the best NASCAR simulation racing game of all time. So what if the graphics are 1996, this is still the best! No computer taking over your controls during yellow flags. Speed on pit road and get black-flagged for a penalty. If you truly want to RACE like real life, this is the one! I race 100% seasons (500-mile races), and if you want FULL control of your car from green to checkered--including yellow flags and pit stops--than I'd spend the 20 bucks.
If this game had the 2002 graphics and the Daytona track (which it doesn't), you would never buy another NASCAR game again.
EA Sports should refer back to this one before it designs another...

Nascar best game ever. Its is so fun you will play to 3 o clock into the morning.

This game may have been released in 1996, but it has much better racing and in general, more tracks to choose from than EA's NASCAR series. You can do an entire championship season with the entire 1996 season with the exception of Daytona. The best part of the game is that you can control the opponent strenght up to 120%! I've yet to play a decent simulation/arcade game on the PSX until I got this game.

This game is a good one, the 3on3 action is pretty cool, although you only get all 30 NHL teans, and no international teams ( no GBA hockey games have them ). Overall its great except some of the uniforms are not correct colors and there is no trade player or create a player features which is one of two flaws in this game.

This game is amazing, a must for any hockey fan or non-hockey fan a like. Its an excelent conversion of the playstation version, which i also think is great.
All the real player and team names are in the game, as well as a full season mode, allowing you to compete for the stanley cup.

A brilliant single player game, full of blistering action. A real bonus is the linkup mode allowing you to compete with upto 4 players, and it is so much fun playing the game like this with my buddies.

I really reckomend this game, it has so far given me hours of fun, and im still playing it.

This game has a season mode where you can play any game for every team and keep season stats with season ending awards.NHL93,94,96,97,98 don't have this option, plus highlights of all the games with a brief description of player of the that game.NHL95 is the BEST hockey game for the sega genesis.

Seven years after this is released, I am still finding opportunities to praise it. There has never been a better hockey game, excluding EA's new stuff on PS2. The graphics and gameplay are great, and this is the ultimate hockey experience.

This is the best hockey game ever. I would much rather play this than ps2. There is soo much you can do. Create player, shootout season, and practice mode. You can save user records. They throw hats on the ice for hat tricks. WHAT else do you want. This game is just too good

The Nintendo 64 Clear Game Case - 3 pack set is a great way to keep your Nintendo 64 game cartridges safe. It keeps the cartridges from getting dusty and dirty, while protecting them at the same time! Each game case even has a slot to hold the N64 memory controller pack, and can also hold the game's instruction manual as well! It's unfortunate that Nintendo themselves didn't think about keeping the N64 cartridges protected in the first place, like the way they did it with the original Nintendo 8-bit cartridges, or with the 16-bit Super NES cartridges, and the Game Boy cartridges where they were already given a plastic sleeve (to purchase the N64 game cases seperately is a little disapointing). I managed to find two sets of these game cases at a video game shop recently, in this day and age where the N64 is now long gone. I wished I was able to find some more, as only 6 of my N64 games are now protected for the moment (and I have a lot more games than that!). Anyone who can still find these for sale anywhere, go get it! It's worth keeping your N64 cartridges nice, clean and safe.

This case is great. It is clear so you can actually see your games, and it keeps them from getting dusty and scratched. Buy this unless you want dusty games ;)

Northland is a fun filled adictive building/strategy game. Each viking is an individual and you have to get them to build a village, extract building material and provide food and homes. You assign jobs to each male viking and he will learn new skills by either working or going to schools. You can often trade your products for things you need. Create soldiers to fight anything from wolves to demons. You have choices as to how you want to play so the game is easily replayable. Some people feel that it takes too long to learn how to play it. Each game in the series builds and improves on the prior one but does not change the basic structure of the game. Once you know how to play one Cultures game you can easily play the next. I am addicted to the game and can play for hours.
My main complaints about the game are that the women do not have enought to do and although you can group the soldiers you cannot really form them into units (as in AoE or AoM).
If you liked Settlers you will love Northland. It is pure fun to play.

I have all the Cultures games and they are wonderful for gamers who are not into 'build thousands of soldiers and go kill everything in sight' action games. The pace is what you want it to make, from slow building to, yes, making soldiers and fighting fights. The graphics are cool, the story makes sense (mostly, grin) and the campaign gives the right mixture of tasks and action. There is one more in this series out in Germany and here's to hoping that we will see it in the U.S. as well. Highly recommended.

I have only played the demo of Northland but I am an addict of its predecessors, Cultures and Cultures 2. It is the cutest, most fun city-building sims-style game around. It was never very popular in the US but its European success has led to them finally releasing another in the series over here. Download the demo from northland.com if you're interested, but I highly suggest buying it because once you start you won't want to stop!

This little gizmo is awesome. Do you ever find your self battleing the Elite 4 in pokemon, or any other final boss, and then all of a sudden your batteries die! Right when you were ready to defeat him!!!! Well, the adapter lets you play for HOURS, DAYS, MONTHS, AND YEARS, without purchasing a single battery. The adapter can be pluged in to the outlet behind your couch, or six feat away from your couch, and you still get to sit on the comfy couch. And Best of all, it works for Game Boy AND Game Boy color. If you are a gamer that plays for HOURS, than this is for you. If you just play for 5 minutes at a time, dont bother with it. So go get your favorite Game Boy game like Pokemon, Harvest Moon, or Links Awakening, and find a comfortable spot at least 6 feat away from a outlet, and GAME ON!
