Wonderful way to pass the time....
This game was engaging and fun! I play this for hours before I go to work. I also play it till midnight whenever I get home. I know, I sound obsessed, but it is the sheer joy of the game that keeps you entranced. If you are a "gamer", and you appreciate great material, this is the game for you! I know I love it!...

Other than that, I recommend that you buy this game from Amazon.com, a worthy supplier of Smurf items, and have a great time!

fun game for all
i am really enjoying this game even though i haven't beat it yet. The only bad thing is that when you die you have to start over at the beginning of each section. They give you passwords but not very many. i still like it though. i have a hard time putting it down because i want to beat it so badly!

Smurfs Smurfs Smurfs Smurfs
This is such a cool game. It is kinda like Mario, only you are a smurf trying to wake up your friends from Gargamel's nightmare potion. Really fun, not too easy, not to hard. Keeps me busy for hours.

    Fun game
My kids (5 and 7) love this game. We haven't really played the actual game yet--as soon as the pieces were out of the box, the kids started putting the puzzle together. The puzzle pieces can be put together in endless combinations, and so the fun can last a long time. I figure that by the time they get tired of the puzzle part of the game, I can start reading the rules.

A child doesn't have to read to play this game, but they must love puzzles (and most do) to enjoy it.

The puzzle pieces are made of standard cardboard and they can get worn out after some use. But I think one will get enough fun out of this game to worth the money.

    It's a jigsaw puzzle! It's a game!
Why didn't they have this when I was a kid?

The idea of the game is to use puzzle pieces to create a series of long dragons. The longer your dragon, the more points you get. Well, those are the simple rule, which are great for young players, but if you're a fan of strategy games, there are more complex gameplay variations that will put your brain to the test. Or, you don't have to play it as a game at all. It's fun to just put it together as an free form jigsaw puzzle, too.

    SNAP Decisions
What to purchase? SNAP is a wonderful decision!!!

Our family and friends have been playing SNAP for some time now with children as young as 3 and adults as old as 83. With its great artwork and creative design and rules, SNAP creates fun times for all.

SNAP play itself involves no language or math skills... it mainly involves spatial relationships - object orientation and color matching. SNAP is very much like doing a very simple jigsaw puzzle. Game 2, the simplest, simply involves being the first player to get rid of his/her cards first. Games 1 and 3 involve points and score keeping.

SNAP has a very unique play feedback mechanism (incorrectly placed tiles won't snap together) that prevents players from making a bad placement of a SNAP tile card. This feature makes SNAP very good for a wide range of abilities. SNAP should be a great resource for persons with disabilities.

SNAP plays quite fast, so parents should always be able to get at least one quick game in with a pleading child when time is tight. SNAP can, however, keep kids busy for hours at a time.

SNAP allows for many variations in play. Children, especially, tend to make up there own games and rules which fosters creativity.

I know of one elementrary school that plans to put a SNAP game in every classroom including special ed classrooms. I could not offer a better endorsement.

    Sold! The Antique Dealer Game
Made by R and R Games
      Amazon base price: $17.99
      List price: $19.99 (that's 10% off!)
Finally, a game that allows players to vicariously experience the thrill of being an antique dealer. Players have their choice of six Antique Shops, each with its own specialty (Games, Furniture, Porcelain & Pottery, Fine Art, Glass, and Jewelry). During the course of the game, players visit each other's shops, the Flea Market, and Auction House, where they buy items ranging in value from $50 to $10,000. Back at their own shops they can add new purchases to their showcase stock or to private collections. Special value cards (Rare, Damaged, or Fake) change the worth of the items for better or worse. An event card is drawn each turn. Tourists might visit and spend $2,000; the price of glass might drop; or a shoplifter might steal a treasure. Through eight rounds, players celebrate their gains and grit their teeth against their losses. At the end of the game the player with the most assets (in cash and goods) wins. A highlight of this game is the cards: they show actual antiques and collectibles, complete with date of origin and value. --Wendy Slotboom

      This game is great!
I believe this game will eventually enter the game Hall of Fame if enough people buy and play it. It's addictive. In my family my 17 year old son and his jock friends love playing this... can you believe that! They barter back and forth buying antiques and have a ball. Some fights(verbal) even break out when things get going. I will admit it takes a little patience getting started but it's worth it to learn this game. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

      WOW! What a GREAT Game!
I absolutely LOVE this game! The items you purchase/sell/auction are BEAUTIFUL! And to think they're all real! You can even find out who currently owns the actual piece! The concept is fantastic! Those of you who love Antique Roadshow will feel like one of the Keno Brothers when they find a fantastic piece of furniture! This is a MUST have!

You will have a lot of fun playing this game. Buy it now!!!
SOLD! is a game in which you buy, sell and trade antiques. You start the game with 10 antiques worth varying amounts of money. At least 5 of these antiques must be placed face up in front of you in your showcase. These 5 antiques are 'up for sale' and anyone can buy them on their turn. The rest of your antiques are placed face down. This is your 'private' collection. There are a total of 6 categories which are Jewelry, Games, Glass, Porcelain & Pottery, Fine Art and Furniture. The object of the game is to collect as many antiques in one or two categories as possible. The more antiques you have in one category the better, because the value of the antiques will double, triple, quadruple and so on. Each player gets 8 turns and at the end of the 8th round, the game is over. Each player adds up the value of all of their antiques making sure that they get double, triple, quadruple, etc. for their collections as explained above. Then they add their cash to this total. The player with the must money wins. This game is a lot of fun because there is a lot of interaction between the players. Each player is constantly wheeling and dealing to try and get the antiques that they need for their collection. It isn't like most other games where you just go around a board collecting cards and exchanging money. It fact there isn't a board! What makes the game really interesting is that most of the time you have no idea who is winning until the final tally! This game is an excellent game and I highly recommend it. Me and my friends have about 30 board games and this is our favorite one. You will have a lot of fun playing this game. Buy this game now, it is that good!!! -Rob

The best game ever made. period.
TIE Fighter, even now, is, simply put, the best computer game ever made. Other people might say it's Civ II, and some would say that it was outclassed by Freespace or Wing Commander, but they are mistaken. TIE Fighter had a story. Not just a "we've been attacked, go and shoot them back" story but a very deep story, which involved the pilot. Furthermore, it had original missions. It wasn't just "go shoot them" or "help defend us", you do things like flying escort, scouting, recon, spying, etc. Well, basically, go look at PCGamer's review of it and rating, and see what other games have gotten better ratings than it. one has, and they're wrong. That having been said, this is basically TIE Fighter (and X-Wing, another respectable game) with updated graphics. They didn't put on Xwing versus TIE Fighter's truly awful control or interface, all they did was update the graphics. The result is that now the best game ever made has graphics to suit. No real computer gamer can afford to be without this.

        All Time Classics
Even in their original forms, both of these games have been on my hard drive since they first game out. With the exception of Elite, the Star Wars games were the first space sims to feel like you were actually flying in a 3D environment, not playing a 2D arcade game (sorry Wing Commander fans). Add 2 fantastic Star Wars story lines (both well fleshed out in the respective strategy guides), a chance to sample the overall lackluster sequel, updated graphics, and win 95 funtionality for under $20, and you can't go wrong. Freespace fans, check out the originals, and pick up Alliance. Its nice to see the series back on track.

All that's missing is Ben Kenobi whispering in your ear...
This collection of all the X-wing titles (before Tie Fighter) is a great value, and an excellent introduction into the wonderful world of Rebel dogfighting. The sound effects, the graphics, the atmosphere--all of it evokes images of your favorite space battles in the Star Wars movies. You get to start slow, and work your way up to the really tough missions--and you'll need the time to learn, trust me! Quite simply one of the most all-around enjoyable games I've ever played.

          Great Tank Game!!!!!
I had been wanting a tank game for a while and steel reign was one of the ones I was considering on bying and its the one I bought. I also have ps2 but thre are not many tank games on ps2. Steel Reign is very cool. It has some cool tanks. I also think that the screeny is nice 2. The controls are fanstic and the graphics are very nice for being a ps1 game. The fram rate is also good. The game runs very smoothely. I do not know what else to say so I think I will end it at that. If you are looking for a tank game and only have ps1 or thre are no tank games that float your boat on another system you may have then bye steel reign.

this is one of the better games
just like duke nukem thats all i got to say

          Steel Reign
Fantastic !!! Sort of like the Duke Nukem of tank games. Decent graphics ,cool weapons and challenging missions.

Quick game and a lot of fun
I bought this for my six year old daughter. We have a lot of fun playing it. You pick who you want to be and have cards that have missing items. The items are on pieces that are scattered, upside down, throughout Strawbery Land. What's great is a)it's a memory game, b)it's a quick game, c)for the parents, it doesn't require constant checking of directions or helping with reading (very helpful after a long day of work and school when you want a game where you can just have fun and relax!) Def a good game for the young girl's age group.

            A Winner
My daughter received this for her 5th birthday and she absolutely loves it. It combines the classic board and memory games together. The pieces are made of very thick cardboard and are very durable. The only small complaint is the spinner which tends to get stuck easily. We have played this game multiple times each day since received and she is still excited everytime we open the box. An excellent game!!!

Lots of fun and not too complicated!
My daughter received this game as a gift for her 5th birthday and we play it all the time. It is not so complicated that it is hard for a child to learn how to play but moves quickly enough that adults don't get bored playing it with little ones. And the illustrations are adorable! It's good family fun.

Even more worth buying than a Princess Leia costume!
Anybody who reached this page must be a Mario fan who is aware of all the equipment required to use these cards. And for anybody who meets that description, I have only just pre-ordered them but I don't even have to try this new set of cards to tell you -- it'll be even more fun than Star Wars halloween dress-up!

You can bet there will be plenty of fun, creativity and hallenge in this new set, as I found in sets 1 and 2. It's cool to see just what Nintendo's current people can do with a great game like Mario 3. It is fun to see if I can come close to the pros' skill level displayed with the demo cards, and the new levels simply add more value than ever to this great classic game.

What classic Mario games' levels and ideas will Nintendo borrow this time around? What silly idea will this set's 'switch' power-up card come up with?! Or will there be some completely new suit or item Nintendo comes up with this time around? (hint hint to Nintendo's game developers -- INCLUDE A PRINCESS LEIA SUIT FOR MARIO) Will there be a new level that surpasses even that crazy new one with the flying beetles in difficulty?! Waiting to see just how creative Nintendo gets is, well, just under half of the fun of each card set -- the new levels are definitely over half the fun. Even more fun than fat guys like Mario and me in Leia costumes ... alright, no more disturbing visuals...

I'll squeeze out of my Leia costume long enough to say:

              Princess Leia
This costume is so cool! I can hardly fit this costume because I'm about 58 inches tall. Me, my sister, and my two brothers got our Star Wars costumes on (from Halloween) and bought "Electronic Tatooine Blasters" and played Star Wars in our backyard! When you're in costume, you feel as if you are the real thing! The blasters helped too!! We also played with the other neigherhood kids. It was a lot of fun! This costume is cool, neat, and really worth [the money]! I've been looking for Princess Leia costumes for weeks, and they are all $30, $35, and the highest I've ever seen, was $70! So I'd suggest you get this costume! Buy it, it's worth it!!

              Taboo 10th Anniversary
              Made by Milton Bradley

It sounds so simple: get your team to name common words without voicing a few choice descriptors. But could you describe a wristwatch without mentioning time, wrist, or clock? Taboo rewards those who think--and speak--fast. The team that correctly identifies as many words as possible in a minute (measured with an hourglass timer) wins. If a member of the opposing team, armed with the blaring buzzer, catches the clue giver using any of the taboo words, a point is deducted from the group's score. It's a good idea to separate people who know each other well, because their familiarity can be too great an advantage. If the clue is spinach, prompting with "Mom made this every Monday" just doesn't seem fair, though it is permissible according to the rules. Playing Taboo requires an AA battery and a sense of humor--you'll need them both! The timer is included. Taboo is for four or more players. --Leah Ball

                Taboo expansion deck!
I'm not a "game person". But one night my family convinced me to try Taboo, and I got hooked. It's involving, yet not so difficult that there's a lot of pressure. Taboo is rightly considered a classic.

Long time Taboo owners who have fruitlessly searched for a "taboo expansion deck" should know that this is it! This 10th Anniversary Edition has ALL NEW words. If you know someone who is already a Taboo fan, this would make a great gift. That makes this an unusual item: wonderful for both people who don't own Taboo and those who do!

                Taboo, the greatest party game
Years ago I was convinced that Pictionary was teh greatest party game. Then I played Taboo. Not everyone is into drawing, and they get frustrated, Taboo gets around that.
It is a great ice breaker, people get into the game and forget about what they're saying which is super funny. You get to know the people you play with pretty well. Everyone has a bunch of laughs and a great time.
I travel a lot, and I keep the cards in my bag with a BBQ timer [better than an hourglass--no waiting]. It is a blast.
It is true that, you get right into the game and rifle through the cards before you know it. So after playing the Canadian version, I bought the American version when I was on a bike trip in Arizona. The game is new again.
They recently came out with a celebrity Taboo, I haven't gotten my hands on it yet--but it's sure to be great as well.

One word of warning, the electronic Taboo isn't all that great. The words database is pretty small, and the unit is cumbersome compared to the cards. [some people find the readout hard to see as well]

So top points for Taboo, it's an all round good time.

No reviews found for this product.
Great game, but a little disappointing.
The premise: Get your team to say the word at the top of the card without saying any of the other words on the card. Think you can do it? It's harder than it seems.

This game is a lot of fun because you will suddenly find it challenging -- and funny! -- to express a very simple word, phrase, or person that everyone knows. Everyone will laugh as you take turns grasping for alternate and creative ways to say the words that are "taboo." This game should be a classic "party" game because it engages all players (you take turns guessing, reading cards, and making sure the opposing team doesn't say words they're not supposed to!) and even though people may not think it's their kind of thing beforehand, everyone always ends up having fun.

The bad news: the cards go by very quickly. The rules suggest you go around in a circle so that everyone gets to read cards once, and then the game is over. But the game is so much fun that it never ends there. In one sitting, you can end up going through a quarter of the words -- that means potentially, you could finish the entire game just by playing it four times! This is disappointing, especially if you play through the whole thing right after buying it. My suggestion is if you like the game that much, make up your own cards with your friends. I would still buy a copy of the original game though, to play through the original cards, and of course, for the endlessly entertaining buzzer. :)

                  Fun and exciting
This game is very fun. You never know what kind of fish you have hooked. It's very realistic. Even the weather changes in this game. If you want challenging fishing fish in the tournament. If you want some fun but just to relax, play in the Free Fishing. But I like the Tournament. And the good thing is that you have like 7 places to fish at, even in the ocean.

I'm not a very good fishergal in the real life but I am in the gameplay. Which is cool.

Who would have thought fishing could be so good on Gameboy
This is such a good game. You can catch 32 different fish and fish in 6 salt and fresh water locations. The fish are hard to catch if you don't use the right lure or don't fish in the right spots. But if you take the advice of the pro.'s you'll be reeling in a lunker in no time. Also, if you've hooked a big one, he will give you quite a fight and you might even loose him and your hook if you don't reel him in properly. The tournaments are so cool as well, there is a lot of hype about it when in the game, and you have to qualify to get to the Champs. A must buy.

                  Fantastic Game...
This is a great fishing game. Good graphics and very realistic. You can catch up to 32 kinds of fish and select from free fishing or tournament fishing...

                    What A Find!!
At Christmastime I was looking for last minute stuffers and came across this game at a local dime store and thought it would be good for my 10 yr. old. I had no idea it would be such a hit! My 13 yr old will actually join in on family game night! It is so much fun! My 5 yr, old is learning to spell. She just asks us to double check her spelling and off she goes. My kids friends have played and now I am trying to find it for birthday gifts. They all want it and I can't find it! My whole family highly recommends the game and what a find it was!
