I couldn't wait till the release day since I found out that the game was developed with cooperation of TREASURE, one of most beloved video game company of my life(company responsible for games like Radiant Silvergun, Gunstar Hero, Guardian Heroes, Silhouette Mirage, Sin and Punishment, Ikaruga, Bangaioh...) So I bought an import version because I figured that this game is an action game although I have very minimal Japanese...who needs to know Japanese when you are playing an action/shooter game, right? Well, I was very wrong; and I'll explain later why.

This game is based on THE famous 'Astro Boy(Tetsuwan Atom)' series by Tezuka Osamu, who's considered to be the Father of the Japanese manga/animation starting in 1960s. What really surprised me was the sheer amount of animation and STORY in the game. I mainly expected just some nice actions, yet this game is just packed, I MEAN PACKED WITH SEEMINGLY ENDLESS STORY. There are total of 46 characters, directly related to 'Astro Boy' series such as Uran and Dr.Ochanomizu, however, some characters, like Sapphire, happens to be one of Tezuka Osamu's creation from other series.

So what about the game itself? You can definitely feel the touch of TREASURE here and there, which means it's very enjoyable. I would say that the game is bit on the easy side, however, they give you much harder option once you complete the game by having to finish the game without a continue(I continued numerous time while I was playing for the first time...it's not that easy). Graphic and sound is top notch as if you are watching a well-made GameBoy Advance version of animation; you won't be sorry! This game starts with a tutorial with Dr. Ochanomizu, and it is highly recommendly because Astro Boy can do several things, including some special attacks(Some characters are reachable by performing certain action... so pay attention!)

I guess this game really shines when it comes to the story. I felt strongly compelled to buy US version SO I CAN JUST GO THROUGH THE WHOLE THING ONCE AGAIN WITH KNOWING THE PLOT. I mean, who really cares about this old, outdated anime as long as you get to play the action part, right? WRONG! I remember that I bought an mport version of Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero first(again, couldn't wait), then bought US version just to read rivals' profile. Why? Because the game was so good and reading that rivals' profile was a crucial part of that gaming experience...didn't mind playing the whole game AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS STILL DAMN GOOD. It's same for this very game because you can't deny the whole gaming experience of this sheer amount of story when you get to play this game; trust me on this.

You can finish the game with finishing from stage 1 through 7, however, there are unlockable stages 0 and 8, which gives you the REAL ending with more, much more satisfaction. And I guess the one of the best part of the game was figuring out and completing the game with 100% completion; I don't get picky with completion percentage with games, but this game FORCED me to do so WITH PLEASURE.

So if you are having a doubt that this game is just a way to cash in some profit by using some Astro Boy fame... Think again because you will be PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.

E3 2004 came and went and AstroBoy Omega Factor was there and waiting. It played like a classic space shooter with power ups and loads of enemies to blow away. The game looks very sweet on the GBA hardware and is being developed by Treasure, the same guys that did Ikaruga and Gunstar Heroes, and the coming soon: Guardian Heroes for GBA. The hype starts here for this soon to be classic.

the shape makes it easier to grip, and the cotrolles are in a spot were they are easier to push if you are in a multi-player game.

This is a good item to have. It displays some color to my full dreamcast set. The tremor pak is good but it isnt BEST quality

If you only could buy one pinball game, this would be the one to have. A great game! You have to purchase the original Cardoza game though (a two CD set). Available new from Cardoza Publishing. The single CD sold here by Expert Software will not download.(I know, I bought a copy here first and tried it on many systems, getting same error message).

I'm no expert, but I've bought most of the available pinball games and Avery Cardoza's Slam-Tilt Pinball is definitely in the top ranks! The flexibility of the game is overwhelming. The quality of the graphics is dazzling. The physics are almost perfect. I would highly recommend this game!

I started thinking of this toy when a friend of mine had a child. I remember the hours of fun I had with my barrel of monkeys and for the price, this is a great toy. It must be purchased for all children of America.

It is inexpensive, and will provide hours of creative play.

The "Barrel of Monkeys" game may be one of the easiest, simplest games ever to be marketed. It consists of a plastic barrel about the size of a grapefruit filled with little plastic monkeys, arms extended and bent. (You've seen them, either in Toy Story, 12 Monkeys, or in your genetic memory. These things have been around forever.) The goal of the game is to pick up a string of monkeys by holding the top one and looping arms together. It's about as complicated as pick-up sticks, and more fun -- after all, it's monkey-based.

The fun of Barrel of Monkeys isn't the game. It's the score of plastic monkeys. Monkeys are inherently funny, plastic loop-armed monkeys even moreso. Consider the price, too: a couple dollars for a whole barrel of monkeys. How can you /not/ afford to buy it?

This is the best fishing game I have ever played. Probably the best part about it is the graphics of the fish and the way they fight like crazy on the line. It is a real 'gamers' fishing game. Hardly any waiting around like in the other games, here it is all action and lot of fun. There are even underwater power ups for you to use! The backgrounds and rivers are really good, and the music is awesome. If you are thinking about getting a fishing game for your ps1 (or even PS2!) get this one, its very very good fun.

I played this game at a toy fair recently. This game has a real arcade feel to it, that means it is FUN!
I had a blast playing this game, the fish look awesome and the fishing areas look great. The music is awesome too, when you get a huge muskellenge on the line and the music starts pumping, it really gets the adrenaline going. As far as I know this is also the first fishing game with POWER UPS ! This is an awesome feature, and adds an extra skill level to the whole thing. Unlike a lot of other fishing games, this one has lots of different ways to fish, and tons of different fish. They all act really realistic too, and pulling them in gets harder as you proceed thru the levels. If you enjoy fishing games, and even if you don't, you will like this one. I did.

I only owned and played this game for two days, but it was a GOOD two days, since playing this game was all I did day and night.

Sure, there are no familiar players, or team personalities, or commentary, but the gameplay is what shines here. You get solid control, varied difficulty, and an AI that doesn't cheat.

The fighting is a wee bit [boring], but that's OK. This game can't hold a candle to the best hockey games on the PC today, but who said anything about being on a PC? If you want hockey you can take anywhere, this IS the game.

This is probably the best hockey game for the Gameboy Color. It definitely beats out the other hockey games like EA Sports' NHL 2K. The graphics are pretty good, considering the system it is being played on, and the game play is excellent. It will take me a long time to get bored of this game.

Boulderdash EX is a great puzzle game. It may remind
you of the classic Dig Dug but it is much more than that.
Not only do you dig you way through levels, you also have
over 10 icons to collect that give you special powers such
as bombs, extended reach, board rotation, and more.
For those of you 25 and older, you may remember the original
version of this game. Well, good news! All of the 100
levels from the original are here too. New gamers may not
appreciate the classic gameplay, but for us old timers, it
is a trip down memory lane.

I dont know about this particular game, but if its anything like the origional big brother of the classic NES system you'll lose a lot of sleep trying to beat this game. Fast paced movement matched with split second decision making and a lack of sleep amount to crazy antics in the diamond mines, ocean floors, ancient pyramids, Mayan temples and more. I just hope this revamp of a classic does as good as or outshines the origional. Maybe it'll revert me back to my childhood

We recently had a fantastic evening playing Brainstrain with some close friends. Right from the start of the game, we knew it would be fun to play as we laughed at the silliness of how we looked wearing the bands around our heads that held a Brainstrain card identifying who, what or where we were. Since the game lets players choose what to write on their cards, I found it was interesting to see what kinds of ideas our creative friends came up with! The "question and answer" sessions were wild, as we raced against the minute timer to guess our identities. Frequently we were amazed at how good we were at guessing some of the more obscure items, and then were totally dense on the obvious ones! I'm sure that Brainstrain is a game we will enjoy playing many times.

I played this game and immediately wanted to play it again. It is a game that you can decide how hard or easy the game can be. It is up to you. I played with adults, and we all loved it and played it all night. I then played with my children, they loved it because it is a game they can learn about geography or people, and easy enough for them to play. I highly recommend this game for any age, and for everybody. Lots and lots of fun. A definite must to get.

I've been waiting patiently for this game since may, and it still hasen't come out. however, the game looks intriguing enough to wait a little bit longer. Crazy action, hyper fast paced music, and whacky lightshows all come together to make it look like a pretty addictive game. I just hope it actually comes out before Christmas.

Having played the import and BAM's US version of Bujingai, I can say that the US version keeps most all of the Gackt goodness of the import version. The only main difference are the cutscenes are dubbed in English.

In my opinion it is virtually impossible to find better voice actors than they have in Japan, but BAM did manage to find some decent voice actors. The decision to dub was one that took much consideration by BAM, who did not want to offend Gackt's US fans. The choice to dub was only made because it was not technically feasible for BAM, to add subtitles and offer dual language audio. Bujingai is a single layer DVD5, and is right at the size maximum.

As for the in game sound, all of the Gackt voice samples are intact, along with the rocking Zuntata soundtrack. The soundtrack, by the way, is available separately as an import on the Zuntata Records music label. The extras you ask? They are all there, including the alternate Gackt costume, and the beautifully subtitled video extras.

I find that many reviewers are bothered by the rather unique storyline of Bujingai. The game's story doesn't seem all the strange, if you consider that Gackt Camui claims he was born on July 4, 1540, and yes as some have suggested Gackt didn't have a happy childhood. BAM really did a great job of preserving Gackt in all his glory. Don't get me wrong, even without Gackt this is one heck of a beautiful game, but Gackt just makes it all the more beautiful. Having purchased the import version, would I buy BAM's US version? I sure would, since you can never have too much Gackt Camui.

This car game pack is excellent for the traveler. With the headphones you can ignore your parents boring radio stations. With the D/C adapter you can play games without your battery running out. Sometimes your parents have to put on their mobile phone in the D/C outlet in your car, then just use the rechargeable battery pack. Then if you are still driving in your car and it is dark, you don't have to stop playing. Just use the lighted game shield. If you travel in the car for a long time this is how to pass the time and have FUN!

This pack is great! You get all these wonderful little accessories to help you out while playing on the old game boy in the car. I especially like the headphones.
