    Does exactly what it should...
This is the same AC Adapter that comes with the 'cube so you only need it if yours died or was damaged...

It gets it's job done just fine. Perhaps even a little better then most due to the fact that the box is in the middle of the cord and not on the plug end. This makes it much more convient, since it takes up less space on powerstrips and wall sockets.

    This is what I need
I think they should put this on sell because I need it. My adapter is messed up so PLEASE PUT THIS ITEM TO SELL. I'll buy it.

        Not Happy Nevertheless Great Game
This game first came out in Japan known as Shienryu (Purplish Flaming Dragon) on Sega Saturn. Then later they made PlayStation version called Geki-Oh Shienryu, which was inferior to the Sega Saturn counterpart. One thing I couldn't understand regarding this game was that the kind of attention this game was receiving compare to other shooting games out there. Of course, there's no hesitation for picking up game like Radiant Silvergun as the arguably best shooters ever, however, I would definitely put games like Layer Section/Galatic Attack (prequel of Ray Storm) and this game 'Gekio Shooting King' along with great shooters.
Gekio is different kind of game. You could say this is a typical, tradition vertical shooter, where you don't really think about what kind of weapons to use so much as in other kind of games, but rather it seriously tests your reflective skill. You have to control your space ship through countless bullets, not like Giga Wings series, where you have 'unavoidable' countless bullets (ok, you can your reflective shield, but still it was unthoughtfully done) but I'm talking about countless bullets you can dodge with such a thrill with sweaty palm. Trust me, I wouldn't hesitate to say that I had more fun from this game than other great games like Radiant Silvergun because I had to play again and again to beat the game, especially the last boss, Shienryu itself.

The problem, with this particular PlayStation version, is that it did not completely make smooth transfer from arcade counterpart. Even if you compare with Sega Saturn version, graphic is actually better in Sega Saturn and with much less slow down. For example,in boss fight in level 6, there's this serious graphic flaw where it looks like the system can't handle the too-many-things-moving-graphic with electric weapon. The most critical flaw is allowing players to have unlimited continues. Seriously, I don't understand shooter games with unlimited continues- what's the point of it if you are going to finish the game in one sitting??? One thing they did to somehow balance this unlimited continue is not allowing players to play continuously at the very end, however, that can be overriden with two player mode-

Gekioh does have lot of options of playing mode such as easy, hard, PocketPlayStation version and etc. These are great addition to the game. However, I felt it does take away more than it does add overall; I would wish that they would just give an option to change difficulty of your game from easy to hard, then limited continues, period. I got the impression that they could've done a better job transferring this game if they could've concentrated more on recreating the actual game on PlayStation than adding so much 'useless' options in my opinion.
You know, what the other reviewer said is absolutely right. This is such a great game, not just a great game but a GREAT game, not just considering the price tag but when considering its game play.

After finishing this version again (well, I have both import Saturn and PSX version already, but bought the game anyway to see if they made any change in PSX version, afraid it's same game) I am left with this resentfulness because I am left with no option but to compare with Sega Saturn version. Despite of all the negative things I said about this game, get this game by all mean if you can because it is a great game at the end. The reason I'm giving 5 Stars is because you just can't get game like this in these days when 3D games are dominating and shooter is a dying genre.

        Enjoy.

It Doesn't Bite Holes in Your Pocket...Or in General Really
If Thomas Edison had invented video games, what would they have looked like? For answers to questions like these and more, we turn to...Gekioh: Shooting King. Do not be alarmed by the measley pauper price tag; for once this is a game that is genuinely worth MORE than its asking price. Published by Natsume, the people who brought you the Harvest Moon series, Gekioh is a top-scrolling arcade shooter. In the tradition of Gradius, Silpheed, Thunder Force, Star Soldier, Gunbird, Mars Matrix, and 1942 (to name a few) this game pits you against a seemingly endless and nigh invincible army of robots and spaceships armed with only your single fighter and a few really cool weapons.
What separates this from the others of its ilk is its complete and utter inability to take itself seriously...a trait I personally praise. Here is what I mean: There are several modes of play...
Geki Mode: Replicates the true arcade experience
Easy Mode: Just what it sounds like.
Hard Mode: also just what it sounds like.
In addition to these, there are bonus modes...
Pocket Mode: Bad, super-pixely graphics made to look like a PocketStation or really old PDA
Comical Mode: Explosion sound effects replaced with laughtrack (that's right, a laughtrack!)
Stingy Mode: No Power-ups or bonuses, one life and you score 1 point per enemy
No Mercy Mode: Just like Hard Mode, only doubled in every way!
Slow Mode: Slow but more plentiful bullets, explosions replaced with screams
Ancient Mode: Sepia-toned graphics, sketchy vertical hold, screen lint, and bad phonograph music
These bonus modes make the game what it is. The best modes are pocket and ancient. Ancient mode is probably the most unusual and unexpected, also the most imaginative.
The point is for that price they could have done so much worse, but rather than penalize your frugality, they reward it! With imagination and humor no less!
All in all, if you have played at least two of the games mentioned above, you could probably die happy never shelling out the couple of Lincolns and a few Washingtons for this title, but you may still find something you like. On the other hand, if you have never played a game like this, it will be kinder to your ego than Silpheed or Thunder Force V and won't feel like as big a rip-off as GunBird 2 (I mean, let us face facts: It simply tried to hard to be funny.).
And for all you mathematicians, let me put it this way: Take the last under-twenty dollar game you purchased (or rented) and rank it on a scale of 1 to 10 (1-lowest, 10-highest). Now, multiply that score by the price of this game and place it back on the 1 to 10 scale. That is how good this game is compared to others in its price class.
Final Word: AT THIS PRICE, WHO CAN AFFORD TO BE CHOOSY?

One of the best playstation games I ever played
For my birthday I got all three gex games. I got gex which is this game, Gex: Enter the gecko, and Gex3: Deep cover gecko. I decided to play this game first. And I loved it, this game might be old but it is fun and interesting. Well, not as fun as Gex: Enter the gecko. Oh yeah and also this game is not a 3D game like Gex2 and 3, it is a side scrolling game. For now I only went up to the cartoon world. This game is about a gecko named gex and he has been sucked into the media dimension. Rez a robot that is in the media dimension decided to suck gex in his own t.v. What u have to do is u have to kill t.v. by collecting all the remotes in the game. And also while u play this game u will hear funny one-liners from gex, some of them have bad words in it, but thats ok. I have a five year old brother and even he loves this game. This game is good for the whole family. If u buy and play this game u will see what I mean. Oh yeah and if u have time go buy Gex: Enter the gecko it is a very cool and fun game as well.

          Gex this game!!!!!!!!!
This game is very fun if you like a game filled with imaginitive and very colorful gameplay. I, like others I'm sure, go for games that show good graphics and reviews on the cover or box. I bought GEX used and am so glad I did. THis is a fun game for all ages. It is not too difficult for those newly into gaming and not too easy for those veterans out there. This may be a very old game, but I just got a playstation a few weeks ago. I am 23 years old and love the side-scrolling 2D games that are somewhat rare in today's 64Meg 3D evironments. I grew up with old NES games like the castlevania series. By the way, Symphony of the night rocks too. If you like to play for fun check out this title. I will be looking at the more recent GEX releases you can be sure.

            My boys couldn't stop laughing!
This has got to be one of the best games for little kids. My 4 and 6 year old boys couldn't stop laughing when we first played. The board is durable and bright and best of all, those pants are a hoot! They couldn't wait to land on the gigglepants square and get those pants on! Even us grownups had a great time. This is a perfect gift - we just bought it for a pre-school classmate and his mom loves it! Great game!

My 3-Year Old Twins Favorite Game!
I have 3-year old twin girls who simply love Gigglepants. We have several other games, games that I was biased toward because I played them as a child. HOWEVER, all my kids want to play is Gigglepants, and now I am very biased toward Gigglepants.

The game is great because the kids receive someting after almost every turn. The game teaches numbers, colors, shapes and counting. Then there are the Gigglepants - when you land on the gigglepants spot on the board, you must put on the appropriately named Gigglepants quickly. Every time this happens the kids laugh hystericaly. My kids simply love the game - fun and educational!!

            Gray Dual Shock 2 Controller
            Made by Sony Computer Entertainment

              Used price: $9.99

The layout of PlayStation2's Dual Shock 2 controller is nearly identical to that of the original PlayStation's Dual Shock controller, which is good news for most gamers. The main new feature is that, when the buttons are pushed, the controller can register how much pressure is being exerted. This adds a completely new dimension to sports, racing, fighting, and more games. Aside from the Start and Select buttons, all of the functions are analog for greater control, a wider variety of operations, and a more compelling interactive experience. Two convex analog thumb pads and two force-feedback solenoid rumblers round out the features. This controller is also compatible with all software that supports the original Dual Shock controller.

              Great
I love the new Gray Dual Shock 2 Controller its see though and a lot easier to handel than the controller that came with my Playstation2.

              Best thing ever to happen!
First of all the PS2 controller is the best controller because it is not to big (X Box Controller) and it is not to small (GameCube Controller). It also is not to complicated, I mean, my 4 year old brother can even use it right. Plus now that they have made it see-through with color, it is even better than before.

                Made Wordhunters Out of Us!
This game provides much interest and entertainment. It is also educational. At one point there were four adults in our family involved at the same time, so as a bonus,it provided some fun, quality family time together.
I don't understand what Radica means when it says the game has a hint button. There is no button named "hint" on this game. Also, I think people could see it better if the screen were backlit.
We would recommend this game...a nice Christmas present for any age above 8.

                  a great game
I don't really play a lot of computer games, but when I was younger I really loved this game. It's one of the greatest games I ever played. And still, I sometimes check it out. Try it.

                  A Great Game!
I really liked this game. The graphics are great as is the sound track. The game play is hard without being too hard. You have a little bit of everything; shooting, escaping and puzzle solving. But most of all, it was really fun. The plot is that Andy, a ten year old boy, has to rescue his dog from a time warp that takes him right to the heart of darkness (a pretty scary thought for a kid who's afraid of the dark). Although it sounds tame, it is geared to young teens and above since there is some animated violence. But the bottom line is that the game is fun to play and a treat to see the graphics and hear the music.

                    Better than the first one
As the first heroes seemed to be a combination of the first two PC versions, the second one for game boy is more like a combo of heroes 2 and 3. I like that the creature system got an overhaul from that of Heroes I for Gameboy, but it lacks very important aspects which made the PC version fun (i.e.--opening the castle doors to let your creatures out in a siege). Although you can play with them in the scenarios, the dragons are inaccesible in the campaign game, which takes away from the fun a little and makes it more like heroes 1 and 2 where you only had 6 creature classes instead of 7. I would have to say though that if you are a heroes fan then you will love this game when you are away from the PC and can deal with the arrow keys instead of a mouse.

An Ingenious Strategy/RPG Game Implemented Well on the GBC
First and foremost I'd like to say that if you enjoy the "Heroes of Might and Magic" series at all, then you are going to love playing this game. I never played the original on the GBC because I thought that it lacked some key features that make the game. Fortunately, 3DO realized their mistakes and seem to have taken care of it in this release. There are 25 Scenarios for you to battle in, but more importantly a Campaign has been added to the game. I was hoping for some pretty cutscenes between missions but was sorely let down. It's not that bad though, they do provide you with a nice story and some decent pictures. Plus I think they make up for it when you beat the campaign.

When I first got the game I could not put it down until I finished the campaign... which actually took some time. The graphics are beautiful and the sound really helps set the mood for the game.

Unfortunately, it seems 3DO still made some mistakes which I felt could have been handled better. First, you can choose between 40 different characters, which is pretty awesome, but it is a bit misleading. For each "race" you can choose basically a warrior or a magician, but each of these classes have the same skills... such as the Human Knights all have pathfinding and offense, and the Human Clerics all have wisdom and logistics. Thus the only difference in these heroes is their picture and name. Sort of a let down when your character isn't very unique. Another thing I did not like is that your starting castle is not necessarily in accordance with your race, it appears to be random. I found this to be a real pain because I would start out with different units then the ones that I could train.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great game. And as I said earlier, if you like the "Heroes" series at all you will love this. I just hope that if 3DO plans to produce a third in the series that they address the faults that still lie in the game.
