Simple as marbles, strategic as backgammon, this game is irresistibly challenging for kids and adults. Up to 4 players set their dice atop each other's, match numbers and take a chance on rolling for a higher number. We love it!

math strategy game

I played this game with 4 boys in my son's 3rd grade class. They loved it. Once they figured out the strategy they got really competitive. I enjoyed it too and have been looking for it ever since.

The ultimate memory experience.

.... This item is cool. It's small, portable, has a carrying case(easy to lose though...), and has a LOT of memory! 16 different files of memory. That's more than I need. Enjoy, and remember, if you have 16 games requiring a memory pak, buy this.

Sequel to Starfox Adventures is here!

I have saw the box for this game and from what i saw on the back it looks good. The review above mine is correct from what I saw on the box except i think you can play as Krystal too. For those of you that have the Starfox Adventures game, you know what I am talking about. I am not quite sure if it is exactly a sequel to Starfox Adventures, but its the same kind of game. The only difference I think there is is that you can play as different characters than Fox, its multiplayer, and you get to do more missions in the Arwing. It looks good to me, I hope my review will be helpful to anyone who reads it.

The Arwing and Falco Return!

All I know about this game is you get to play as Peppy, Slippy, Falco, or Fox in the Arwing, Landmaster tank , or on the ground. The StarWolf team makes a comeback also. This is probbaly going to be more like Starfox 64 but longer, better, and with enchanced graphics. It has a 1-4 player story mode and from what I heard there will be a PS2 and Xbox version also.The extra controller slots will be required for PS2 3-4 Player story mode. Hopefully this game will be more of a sucsess then the older games.

Simple, but a nice change

Star Soldier is the N64 reincarnation of the NES classic. I, for one, miss the SNES days of top and side-scrolling space shooters (Gradius, etc.). So for me, this game was an excellent find. Star Soldier gives you your choice of 3 extremely powerful ships, then lets you out into a vast array of different worlds, with the ultimate goal being to destroy the sinister Duoss Core. You can collect powerups for your main weapon, as well as powerful "ExArms" items which give you a short period of absolute annihilation. There are several different modes, including a timed mode where you try to get the most hits within the given time period. If the game proves too difficult, simply tone down the difficulty a bit until you are ready. Overall, gamers looking for a little nostalgia in the highly advanced N64 world should be most pleased with Star Soldier.

Just Great

This game is excellent. The gameplay and graphics is great. This game is way better than Star Fox. Each stage has a unique master that is pretty difficult. In my eyes this game is the best game I've ever played.

And with Stone Soup, Gamewright's game du jour, the house special is deception, sneakiness, and crafty culinary card-play. Based loosely on the old folktale whereby reluctant villagers were enticed to enhance a "delicious soup of water and stones" by adding "just one more vegetable," Stone Soup consists of a 54-card ingredient deck dealt out and composing a consommé that must be assembled--in specific ingredient order--by placing cards face-down into the pot and hoping that no one calls a bluff. Oh, sure, it's delicious when tomatoes are called for and you have two tomato cards, but what do you do with your Stone cards except hope to sneak them in, face-down, by announcing "Here are four tomatoes!" Get busted and the penalty is severe: take all cards in the pot. Ditch 'em all, either by evading challenges to discards, or by completely honest card-play, and the only thing missing from your victory bouillon is salt and pebble... uh, pepper. --Tony Mason

A great intro.game to bluffing

This is a great introductory game to bluffing. The idea of the game is simple: players put down cards (face down) according to a certain order--potatoes cards, tomatoes cards etc. (all ingredients for making a good soup). There are stone cards in the deck. The goal of the game is to get rid of all of one's cards. Bluffing comes in when one must get rid of stone cards or other unwanted cards. For example, if it is my turn and the turn calls for tomato cards, but I don't have tomato cards, I may put a potato card down and declare it a tomato card. Others may let me pass or they may call my bluff (Stone Soup!).

The game is for 8 and up and for once I agree with Gamewright. I played it with my 5 and 7 year olds. My 7 year old understands the concept, but her face often gives her away. My 5 year old sighed at the end that he "always lost". He was putting down 10 tomato cards when there are a total of 4 in the deck. With time, they may learn to play better, but I can see us having a great time when they are older. We will probably have more fun when we have more people playing.

STONE SOUP!!!

I played this game with my two sisters (in their twenties) and we had a blast. It's a simple game of pure bluff and dare. I'd rather play this with a group of people than say - something like UNO, or Old Maid . . . whatever.

Team Buddies Rules!!!!

I think Team Buddies is a great game. Because it has a lot of action. It also has cool wepons. For example, Lightning grenades, Flame thrower, one of the strongest guns the Pulse Cannon and much more!!!! There are over 60 levels. Great two player game.There are so many different kinds of *Buddies* you can be like Ninja, Cyborg, and even Super Buddie!!The levels are action packed with blasting fun. Great gameplay. The game has very chalenging levels. Espesially the last levels. You can also drive Tanks, Hover Crafts, Air Planes and some more fancy wepons. Well thats all if you think you are good enough to beat this game without CHEATS!!! which is very hard for some people well not me! then buy the game and try it. Because its Fun.

Team Buddies

In this game theirs movies and one of them is that theirs a medic that finds someone that got rand over by a car so the medic gets a air pump and pups him up and right next to the rand over guy its a pistol and ones the guy gets helled he starts shuting the medic that healed him.

Tecmo-Junkie

This is probably the greatest football game of all time! Remember, all you gamers with your 6-8 button controllers and an infinate number of moves and button combinations, this game IS YOUR DADDY! There is no other football game out there that can replicate the hours of fun I get from playing all the games in the TECMO BOWL series. Companies continue trying to portray a "realistic" game, they have forgotten about creating games that are just plain FUN! I have a PSX, but I still have my old NES and Tecmo Super Bowl. I recently purchased NCAA Football 2001. I created a team and won the National Title. I breezed through each team. I averaged 50 points a game even a 77-3 thrashing of Nebraska, which is supposed to be the best team in the game. The point here is that it wasn't fun. With Tecmo, I still laugh at all the goofy animations, like players flying after getting a crushing chop block, or getting hit by a big RB! I still get a smile when the team throws two arms up and down after a TD!

tecmo bowl

Tecmo Bowl was fun game. It's easy to run the ball, but t is hard to pass the ball because if the reciever is covered it's either an interseption or incomplete. Defence is easy because you pick somebody then all you do is cover the pass and if the run you are there anyway. I gave this game five stars because I can play this for hours.

Terminator redemption awesome

You have to admit, Rise of the Machines sucked. I've played the demo for Redemption and it is awesome compared to Rise of the Machines. You can now use vehicles from the future and the past. You can even use a minigun in a helicopter. Now how cool is that. This game has much better animation than Rise of Machines and Arnold looks a whole lot better. So go buy this game when it comes out in August. Hope it doesn't get delayed!

terminator 3 redemption

Rise of the machines sucked on XBox and PS2 and movie theaters, hopefully this game wont. i've played the demo and it's a lot better that any terminator game i've played.

Like Word Games? This one is great!

This is a great package - two fun word games! You can challenge your mind by looking for words -- or you can REALLY challenge your mind and play with a timer! Either way, it is fun, and you can make excuses that it is also educational. What more do you want?

What Word looks a bit like boggle, but don't shake the monitor. :-)

You're given a board of 5 rows by 5 columns - 25 letters. Some letters have a brighter glow, making them worth more points - this is a random occurance. On the right panel is a list of words and their point values, below that are the words you must complete before you run out of turns (depending on the number of letters you've used) and below that is a super "what" word that can only be completed by making words with special orange tiles.

Challenging and addictive!

Text Twist is almost like Hangman on steroids. You're given jumbled letters and you try to get as many words as you can. You can click a button to randomly shuffle your letters over and over again to re-order them to see if it stimulates your brain into spotting new words. You can play an untimed mode in which you have to find all possible words, or a timed mode in which you have to find the longest word to survive, and all other words are bonus points.

You can use your mouse, but an easier method is to just type out the word and hit enter. Easy and fun - and a great way to speed up your typing skills!

If you played Wordtris before, but got bored - this is the next level and you won't get burned out!
