    Great role playing toy
My daughter plays with this non stop. She loves to bring us coffee and toast. I would highly recommend this toy!

    Lots of Classroom Fun!
I was really happy with this after is arrived. I bought it from Amazon for the classroom where I work (full of 12 busy and bustling toddlers) to add to our play kitchen space. The sounds and the actions make it seem like the real thing and give kids plenty of room to use their imaginations. Would definately recommend - maybe not for the busy classroom like mine since it is only a $20 set, not too durable, but for the ordinary family it would be perfect.

    5 stars for the toaster
My primary reason for buying this Little Tikes Breakfast Set was to match the Cookin' Sounds Kitchen Santa brought our 3 year old. This set comes with a coffee pot, toaster, 2 slices of "toast", plates, 2 cups and saucers, sugar, creamer, 3 spoons (one for the sugar and 2 for the cups), one plate, a butter knife and cutting board. The coffee pot takes batteries and when your little one presses the button on the lid, it makes a percolating sound. Also, the toaster has a spring mechanism so that it actually pops out the toast.
If it were up to me, I would have included a few more cups and saucers, but I guess kids aren't concerned about complete table settings. Besides, Little Tikes also sells a Cookin' Fun dish set (which I also bought!!).
On its own or to coordinate with the kitchen set, this breakfast set has gotten quite a bit of play since Christmas morning...my husband and I are served coffee all day long!

      we have all!
all of us have seen a little child with fake fruit and one of those child sized shopping carts!. this is not the original fruit that came out in the early 1980's that was much nicer or the 80's repro fruit from the 90's but is a great runner up! trust me we all have also toched one of these fruits! usually the bannana or strawberrie!

High quality, realistic, fun food set!
My two-year-old received several food sets as a gift, and the Summit baskets were the best by far! The foods look realistic, (though perhaps are proportionally a bit smaller), and are durable, surviving tosses, being stepped on, bites, etc. The sets also promote healthier eating unlike some other sets. Very pleased with this attractive and sturdy food set!

        Completes the play kitchen!
I looked at many play kitchen accessories, and I purchased this set because of all the included items in the set. The set I purchased had all of the items listed above, but Bella's set also had a Pressure cooker pot! Talk about having everything for her little kitchen!

I wanted the translucent colors shown in the picture, which is not only more gender neutral but cooler, but opaque yellow, pink and aqua was the only option I had. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase and so is my 19-mos. daughter.

          Simple pleasure!
We got this for our 2 yr old but her 4 yr old sister enjoys it also. We have several other food type toys with plastic food but none of them are as well liked or stimulates so much interactive play. The other plastic toys are handed to you if you ask but with this set, the kids insist on telling you what they are going to give you and enjoy separating each piece for service. Also can use to attach pieces that don't belong to get the kids to work on sorting and motor skills. I thought the velcro might wear out too quickly but it is still going strong after 6 months of heavy play. Also nice that the food items are really health choices, no meat or cookies. Very simple and well made and surprisingly loved!

          Fun for EVERYONE!
We got this for my 2 1/2 year old son for Christmas, since he always wants to help cook. Everyone played with it for hours, from adults to tweens to teenagers to toddlers. It really sparks pretend cooking and imaginary play. My son has created "sandwiches" and "stew" as well as many non-food "things" with the peices. I'd highly recommend it to anyone and plan to give it as a gift to many kids (and their parents!)

A must for parents who want gross motor skills sharpened
This product is a high quality product. This toy stimulates gross motor skills and the love for kitchen stuff. My daughter will play with it for hours and she loves the real cutting action and then velcroing them back together. This product is used by alot of Occupational Therapist with small children.

Li'l Chefs Kitchen - Meals For Two
          Made by Toys "R" Us
          Age Group: 4 - 7 years
            Amazon base price: $
Whether your play kitchen is wooden, plastic, or purely imaginary, be sure to supply it with lots of calories. This selection of plastic play foods contains enough items to open a restaurant. There are three complete meals, and also place mats, plates, silverware, and menus. Food items range from pizza slices and fried eggs to ice cream cones, waffles, and glazed donuts. Pieces are typically about half life-size. --Richard Farr

            We love this play food!
My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves to play with her pretend food. This set also comes with plates, spoons, and forks as well. You really get a lot of stuff with this set. The bacon, ice cream, and donuts are her favorites. The one drawback to this toy are the empty cardboard "food" boxes. They fell apart immediately and I had to throw them away. Kind of pointless, but the rest of the food is worth it.

As much fun as plastic food can be.
I appreciated that a lot of the pieces were made of a rubberized, flexible plastic instead of the thin, injection molded plastic that dents easily. The assortment includes foods that work well together for serving pretend meals, as opposed to, say, including a carton of eggs... how do you serve an unshelled egg?

The pizza was great, durable and servable, with a pizza cutter and server included. Burgers and fries, hot dogs and ice cream. Spaghetti, soda bottles with a bottle opener (How quaint! Mom, what's this?), eggs, waffles and eerily realistic bacon. And probably more I'm forgetting, along with some dishes and uninspired "box food".

If you have a toy kitchen, this is a great food assortment. Find yourself a nice set of pots and pans (and maybe a set of cooking food, like the aforementioned carton of eggs) and practice your pretend food eating noises. You'll need them.

            Perfect!
I have 3 children ages 6,4, & 2 and they all love this set! It comes with just about everything your little one needs for the kitchen. I considered buying a name brand set, but changed my mind when i saw this one. I am glad I did! This set is not only good quality, but an excellent price!

Equip that play kitchen. There are gourmet options out there (for example, realistic play versions of Calphalon pots), but this more basic set of cookware gets the job done, too. More than half a dozen pots and pans, with lids, are complemented by bowls, serving utensils, and some food items. Most items are about half life-size or a little less--pans 4 inches across and food cans 2 inches high. --Richard Farr

              great set
this set is great, i dont think the plastic is poor quality as some reviewers have said. there is such a variety of pieces included, we didnt feel the need to add to it. most of the items have 2 of each included which is great for our 2 kids sharing. i like the choice of food items included, there are lots of options for combinations of meals, etc. you might want to buy a plastic tub to store all the pieces in to keep them together.

A nice set for either a boy or girl
At first I thought that they lacked quality, but my 1 and 3 year old both love them and the colors and selection make a nice set.

I would recommend them for your kids.

              Great playset!!
I bought this for my 5 year old and she just loves it. I am pleased with the purchase for the price. It is lots of fun and she plays with it for hours. The quality is fine, it won't bend or break. The playfood and the utensils that come with it are just wonderful. There are so many choices for her to create meals with. I would highly recommend this product for any child who loves to use their imagination. I have noticed that she would rather play with this toy than watch tv!

                Highly recommend
I bought this grill for my 2 year old's birthday after reading the reviews and definitely agree that this is the grill to buy. We had the grill assembled together for my son's birthday party so the kids would have something to play with. All the kids from age 2 to age 5 enjoyed playing with the grill and naturally because of the age group they were fighting over who was going to play with it the most. The grill is sturdy and does not fall over easy but is light enough for my son to move around. My son is that age of imitating everything we do and he really loves to use his grill and act like daddy cooking. I highly recommend this grill over the others.

                super toy
My kids love this grill. Great in the summer as they set it up outside near their kiddie pool. Comes with a good variety of foods, spatula and tongs.

                Great Grill!
This item is great! I have a 3 year old daughter and she wanted to "cook like Daddy". We saw this grill in a Fisher Price catalog and she just had to have it. The grill is super easy to assemble, sturdy, and holds up really well. The on/off button is easy for her to work and she loves the way it lights and "sizzles" when she puts food on it. A sure-fire hit!

I wish I had one when I was a kid!
My inlaws bought this table for our son's second birthday, and it is just great! He loves to sit at his table to eat and color. It's very sturdy--my son climbs all over it, and my husband even sits on the benches from time to time... even though I'd prefer that he didn't! This is an excellent piece of kid furniture and highly recommended by our family.

                  happy mom
I had received this table as gift for my first son 10 years ago.
After my second son out grew this item, I gave it away not realizing my husband and I would have a third child 8 yrs later. So much to my suprise when I saw this table online I had to have it again! I'm glad to see with so many new items on the market the good ones can still be found.

                  Lasts Forever
I bought this table several years ago for my son's 2nd birthday so his friends could have somewhere to sit. He will be 5 next month and still uses it a lot. He still fits in it just fine. Now, you're probably not going to fit 4 5 years old comforably on the benches but you will easily fit one of each side. He leaves his playdoh on it and every time he goes on the porch he sits there and plays with playdoh or paint or any other activity I would prefer he do outside. Anytime he has friends over they can sit at the table and enjoy their lunch or snack. It was very easy to put together and is very sturdy. I highly recommend this table.

I DID NOTICE THE SAMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE FLOOR MODEL AT TOYSRUS, BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST THE FLOOR MODEL. I WAS WRONG. HOWEVER I WAS ABLE TO REINFORCE OVEN DOOR LATCH WITH SCOTCH TAPE. OVERALL ITS A REALLY GREAT TOY FOR ANY LITTLE GIRL AGES 1 1/2 UP TO 3 YEARS OF AGE. HOUR AND HOURS OF FUN!!!

                    Happy Happy Mom
I wasn't sure if this kitchen was the right one to get for my 18 mo. old daughter, after reading the reviews, but I am so glad that we did! When we got it home, the screws were missing and so was the phone. I called ToysRUS and they simply gave me the missing parts, no problems! Like other families, our oven door falls open sometimes but not to the point where it is bother some. My daughter plays with it so much that it is usually open anyway. It was great that we didn't need to purchase any other dishes or food since it came with all that we need for right now. I even find myself enjoying the time that I spend playing with the kitchen! This really is a must have for any little girl who loves to pretend and have tons of fun!

Young chefs will enjoy preparing a gourmet extravaganza at the stove and microwave console, complete with light-up burners and three cooking sounds. And they can chat with their friends on the phone, which has four additional sounds and sits in a convenient stove-side bracket when not in use. Altogether there are 15 accessories, including cups, plates, knives and forks, and a frying pan. The main unit is approximately 42 inches high, 38 inches wide, and 18 inches deep and has several shelves and a removable cutting board. Nice kitchen, but not for boys
This is such a great kitchen - it has all the bells and whistles and the stove and sink both have sounds and light up. However, it was VERY difficult to assemble (don't do it Christmas Eve) and many of the parts just do not fit properly. We never did get the phone to install correctly. In addition, the piece that goes inside the dishwasher and the stove is very flimsy, so much so that it is now bowed. This stove does come with quite a few cooking pieces so that's an added plus. It's a lot of fun for my little "Emeril" but find something more durable if you have a boy.

                      keeps attention for hours
I bought this for my twin grandchildren (almost3). They play with it nonstop for up to 4 hours. Its durable and they learn so much from it. They are boy and girl so it is good for any gender! And anything that can keep their attention for any length of time is worth the $$$$'s :)

                      hard to put together
This one is difficult to put together. Screws positioned where you cannot use a standard sized screwdriver. Snap in knobs do not snap in. impossible to attach phone holder. does not stand level on flat surface.
