This toy is fun and education becuase it is a horse that also has a great amount of history behind him. So you can not only play with him but research him as well.

Very beautiful, very highly detailed. This is a must for anyone's breyer collection! The facial expression and the sculpted details are out of this world. I highly recommend this breyer to all collectors.

I think that this model captures the beauty of a running horse. My model is extremely durable, and has never broken any legs or ears, or never even gotten scratched. There is a two paragraph summary of the real Cigar's racing career inside the box. I definitely recommend this model!

My daughter, who's now 8 and I have made these using her hand print for every Grandma, Grandpa, aunt, uncle and of course, Mom and Dad, too. They are great gifts. Inexpensive, but priceless to those lucky enough to get them. My Daughter with the help of my Mom made one for me for Christmas one year. I can't tell you how much I LOVE my stepping stone with her little handprint in it. You can also take a toothpick or something and write the child's name, "I love you" or whatever to make it even more personal. None of the stones we've made have broken either and by last count, we've made 8. Oh, one other thing that we tried with the last two we made was painting them with some outdoor paint and that turned out real cute too. Give these as gifts and you can't go wrong!

I have used this with my 3 year old on 3 separate occasions and she absolutely loves it! It takes a lot of parental involvement and help with the actual mixing process (adding the ingredients), but she was able to stir it herself and LOVED putting the stones in. I supplemented with marbles, floral stones, and some stones specific to mosaics that I found at a craft store. All in all - a wonderful project that provides years of creative options and play, as well as great parental involvement. I gave a high educational value since creativity is one of the key foundations of education for preschoolers.

My housemates and I had fun making tiles for our garden! This kit is great. So is the other Mosaic Tile one. I know it's for kids, but it really adds something special to my little garden!

I love my Breyer Scamper! He was my very first "collectable" horse and he's still as bright and handsome as when he came out of the box. He stands alone, is pretty durable, and has a great color. Markings and quality will vary SLIGHTLY as each one is hand airbrushed. This handsome bay Classics-scale model is too cool! I should warn that this model sometimes falls down and isn't for rough play!

Scamper is one of my most durable, most realistic, most fun and easy-to-display models. Gentler kids can actually play with Scamper without banging him up too much. Scamper is well painted and he can even stand alone. He comes with a beautiful box explaining his accomplishments so he can be displayed in or out of box. This Breyer is well worth your money! You get a background, story, catolog, barrel, and the horse for a good price.

Scamper was a real equine athlete who was #1 in his sport, (barrel racing) for 10 years! We are amazed when human athletes can stay on top for that long. What would you think of a horse, who's life span is shorter & physical ability declines must sooner, does this?
Breyer collectible horses are fun & educational. Scamper is a personal favorite of mine because of the rags-to-riches story of his life, and the teenage girl who rode him. The detail on this mold is amazing and I love the personality shown by the model's outstretched upper lip. One of Breyer's newest molds, and part of the Western Performance Series. Look for the other two, the reiner & cutting horse!

Menace is our dragon. We all love him. He is snuggled every night and played with every day. He goes on every trip we take. I don't think we could live without Menace, so a replacement body has already been obtained to wait in the closet should Menace ever wear out his current body. We are a Catholic family and we don't usually endorse reincarnation, but in this case we will make an exception. We have given this some thought after six years with the same dragon. Menace still looks pretty good even if he has come down with a slight case of the Velveteen Rabbit Syndrome (he still has all his faculties, but you can tell he's been on many adventures and enjoyed many snuggles). Be careful if purchasing this dragon, he is "bitey" and "naughty" and will refuse to share any treat unless he really loves you in which case you can have a little bit. Also, he does not like to be called a "snuggle dragon" - that will cause a fit of biting and name calling and threats to use his fire. None of us has seen any fire yet, so we think he may be bluffing. He actually snapped at the valet at the Ritz-Carlton Maui one time for patronizing him. Menace is also very sensitive about the fact that he does not have any teeth, although we are rather glad of it because he can be so "bitey." Please only adopt a dragon if you will really love it. We worry about dragons going to homes unwilling to give the love and snuggles and treats and attention needed to feed and care for a dragon.

I recieved an early version of one of these outrageous fellows when i was barely four on christmas..i soon adopted it and based a love for dragons around it. It took place for a teddy bear in my life. Now it sits in my room happily, although I do not play with it as much, being older and all. But I highly recommend this toy for kids. The puppeting vaule is also great because of the moveable arms and great mouth, I had put on many shows for my family. GREAT TOY. Feel free to buy it for some little kid like i was.

As a dragon lover, I bought that dragon puppet about three months ago, and it's just beautiful ! This plump little dragon is really gorgeous, fun to operate, and really sweet to cuddle ; he really deserves to be the very next item on your dragon purchase list, and he's just perfect for any fantasy-related room deco, or as a lovable pillow-pal on your bed... You may pretend to be a dragon-slayer, if you want, but you'll be quickly overwhelmed by how soft and cuddly he is !...

If we have to choose just one toy, this is it!!
My son has the blocks everywhere he goes (he's 23 months old), I mean everywhere. In the car, in the restaurants, in the house, he always has some blocks in his hands. He's loved to build blocks for almost an year. The best toy ever.
I also recommend the lego block table (I bought it in Kidsrus store). The table seems a little bit high for a 2 year old boy, so my son has to fold his legs when building blocks on it. But, worth to buy it:-)

Bought this for my 2 year old who has access to lot of LEGOs at daycare but was asking for LEGOS at home. She loves it, lots of creative games with it, including bath toy, and I have rediscovered my childhood LEGO skills! Excellent basic starter kit. Only reservation for younger child these are medium size blocks, still be cautious on putting in mouth.

...mY SON IS 21 MONTHS OLD AND HE ENJOYS THE LEGOS.IT REALLY HELPS THE LIL ONES TO BUILD THEIR EYE AND HAND CORDINATION.THEY HURT THOUGH WHEN YOU STEP ON THEM BUT ITS WORTH IT BECAUSE HE ENJOYS THEM.ITS NOT A TOY THAT THEYLL GET TIRED OF.AND YOU PARENTS KNOW HOW THAT GOES

My daughter has just received this tea set as a birthday present from her aunt. She is only two but she loves this set. It is so precious. Yes its porcelain but it is thick. I have as much fun playing with it as she does. She enjoys the fact that she can carry it around because the basket has handles. This is a great toy and I hope that my daughter has it so that she can pass it on to her daughter, it's a timeless piece.

My five-year-old neice Katie is very taken with her tea set, a birthday gift. "Look Mom it has napkins and everything!" This gift was a hit.

My daughter is bonkers over this teaset! She has other sets that she plays with in her playroom but thought she'd like having this portable set for living room & back yard tea parties.

It is very cute, basket is nice.

this is so cute. great for children and adults who used to have these when they were little. detailed to the fullest, it even has slippers for the cook!!

Forget the kids (well, ok get it for them too) I wanted this for my own miniature collection! The two door oven is SO highly detailed with 1mm knobs that actually turn, and doors that open. The fridge opens/closes and is fully stocked with all sorts of miniature goodies. there are removable fridge racks, icebox trays, ice, desserts, milk, ice-cream, veggies, fruit, soda bottles, and more. In addition there are tables, chairs, cabinets, baking sheets, baking dishes, plates, cups, place settings, even aprons & house slippers to put critter figures into for a cozy meal-making time. Well worth your money, as buying all these items from anywhere selling miniatures, would cost you a small fortune. I believe there are over 40 accessories in all.

My daughter (7 years) has hours of fun playing with this high quality assortment of critters and their furniture. My son (2) enjoys it as well, but I would not recommend it for his age group. Too many small pieces.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves to play with her pretend food. This set also comes with plates, spoons, and forks as well. You really get a lot of stuff with this set. The bacon, ice cream, and donuts are her favorites. The one drawback to this toy are the empty cardboard "food" boxes. They fell apart immediately and I had to throw them away. Kind of pointless, but the rest of the food is worth it.

I appreciated that a lot of the pieces were made of a rubberized, flexible plastic instead of the thin, injection molded plastic that dents easily. The assortment includes foods that work well together for serving pretend meals, as opposed to, say, including a carton of eggs... how do you serve an unshelled egg?

The pizza was great, durable and servable, with a pizza cutter and server included. Burgers and fries, hot dogs and ice cream. Spaghetti, soda bottles with a bottle opener (How quaint! Mom, what's this?), eggs, waffles and eerily realistic bacon. And probably more I'm forgetting, along with some dishes and uninspired "box food".

If you have a toy kitchen, this is a great food assortment. Find yourself a nice set of pots and pans (and maybe a set of cooking food, like the aforementioned carton of eggs) and practice your pretend food eating noises. You'll need them.

I have 3 children ages 6,4, & 2 and they all love this set! It comes with just about everything your little one needs for the kitchen. I considered buying a name brand set, but changed my mind when i saw this one. I am glad I did! This set is not only good quality, but an excellent price!

this set is great, i dont think the plastic is poor quality as some reviewers have said. there is such a variety of pieces included, we didnt feel the need to add to it. most of the items have 2 of each included which is great for our 2 kids sharing. i like the choice of food items included, there are lots of options for combinations of meals, etc. you might want to buy a plastic tub to store all the pieces in to keep them together.

At first I thought that they lacked quality, but my 1 and 3 year old both love them and the colors and selection make a nice set.

I would recommend them for your kids.

I bought this for my 5 year old and she just loves it. I am pleased with the purchase for the price. It is lots of fun and she plays with it for hours. The quality is fine, it won't bend or break. The playfood and the utensils that come with it are just wonderful. There are so many choices for her to create meals with. I would highly recommend this product for any child who loves to use their imagination. I have noticed that she would rather play with this toy than watch tv!

This cloth book is expensive, but worth it. I received one as a gift for my new baby and I really love it. It goes through the bedtime routine and there's a little bear figure that tucks into the pockets on the books pages. My baby is only 3 months old, so I haven't used the book yet, but I plan to make it part of our bedtime routine when he's old enough. I've already bought this for 2 of my friends.

My twins each receive this book for christmas. They do go page by page at naptime and bedtime. The manufacturer does include a card on how to contact them for replacements on missing items, such as the pajamas, milk, soap. A book they are sure to play with for a long time.

I just purchased this book for my 17 month old. It is the first soft activity book that we have owned. It is a great way to do something together to settle down before bed. The hands-on activities hold her interest very well. I would warn to only use it with adult supervision, as we have already misplaced the milk. It is well made, very creative and similar to most bedtime routines. My little one just loves it! I will buy it for other toddlers in the future.
