My 4-year old son was just "out of this world" when we located this costume at a local costume shop. We took everything and I mean everything out of the package prior to purchasing, heck for 29.99 you just want to be absolutely sure you're ready for "countdown." We also wanted to be sure of fit and ability of movement. Once home, tried the costume on again, this time with everything sans the gloves, blew up the tank and checked again for comfort and matching of the velcro tabs. Our son is looking to many fun afternoons with his fellow 'nauts.

Very thin material and designs that are printed on and then transfered to different parts of the costume where they are not supposed to be. After being packaged up most of the print had transferred to another part of the white costume where it wasn't supposed to be. I now have a partial backwards flag stuck on the back of the costume, and parts of the NASA logo upside down on the front of the costume. The vinyl backpack also had the same problem, miscellaneous print had transfered on it. It is really noticeable, as the whole costume is white. I will probably end up returning it for something else if I can't get it to come off with nail polish remover or something. Also the flag came nearly totaly covered in a gooey glue substance, had to get out the goo gone to get the residue off of my fingers. The clear plastic "helmet" is terrible too. It is just a piece of plastic that comes all rolled up, so it will not form correctly around the face like a helmet should. They need to seriously reconsider this costume.
After all of that, my son still really likes it.

I must tell you that every time I saw this octopus in a magazine or a store I was truly enchanted by him. I told my husband that our 8 month old girl MUST have this toy for Christmas. And as a bonus I told my husband that the age range is listed up to 36 months so our 2 1/2 year old could also play with the octopus. Well, to my disbelief I cannot get either of my children to even look his way. My 2 1/2 year old thinks he is boring and the baby does not find him stimulating enough to play with for more than a few seconds. The hand puppet is cute and we have been able to entertain them with him, but I would not recommend this toy to anyone, especially for the price.

I fell in love with this colorful, floppy octopus duo, large mommy octopus and baby hand puppet, as soon as I saw them. I was browsing through Amazon.com's educational children's toys looking for a super gift for a cousin's baby girl. There was a BIG first birthday party last month and I wanted something very special. I saw this brilliant multicolored, absolutely adorable toy - huggable and bean bag soft, with terrific attachments to help baby develop motor skills and to encourage independent play and I was a goner.

The large Octopus comes with the baby octopus hand puppet, and lots of pockets to hide things in - which babies and small children love. There are also bead runs, tethers on the many bean stuffed arms which are strong enough to support a sitting baby, a mirror and many other attractions to keep a small child very busy. The octopus measures 24" x 19" x 8" and is especially for ages newborn to 36 months.

Well, the party was a success and the octopi even more so. My cousin opened my gift in the beginning and her baby played with it - crawled and climbed all over it, actually, for the rest of the party. Feedback has it that baby is still thrilled with the toy, and her Mom is too. The octopi keep the child occupied while her mother is busy and she's becoming a regular pickpocket with the pocket feature. I am a happy customer. This truly makes a great gift! Christmas is coming! Highly recommended...

I bought this toy for my 2 and 4 yr olds. It fell apart that day. NOT sturdy at all, wheels keep falling off and then the whole thing falls apart. Not a good buy.

My daughters love to pretend to shop. We bought one of these and one of the 'Lil Chefs' shopping carts. They are both available from Toys R Us for the same price. The Lil Chefs seems a bit more durable but these have held up so far (which for my daughters is saying a lot). Unfortunately most of the "food" that comes with it is little thin paper that you assemble into boxes. Unfortunately, my daughters (age 3), immediately tried to open the boxes of cereal etc and they predictably tore. So, I am setting these aside for now.

I'm happy I bought shopping carts. I guess I would just recommend that you also buy a set of plastic food to go with it.

My granddaughter was heart broken when her ponies arrived. When we purchased another long hair pony at the store, it came with a baby pony so when we seen the Blossom pony with the baby we thought it came with it. Items that are available to order should not have extra items pictured if they are not included. This in my opinion is false advertising. We will not order from this site in the future.

I got this item recently and it did not have the baby pony that is shown in the pictures. Apparently, the baby pony was a bonus item on the earlier version, and is no longer included in the new version. Its too pricey for just one pony, so beware!

I was able to pick up one of these with the baby pony at a local retail store, but they are getting harder to find, being replaced with the newer packaging.

I Think this toy is a pretty good one. But it is easy to loose the parts. But this is better than the last Slashin World, what was used maybe a year ago. The Hair gets in the way, a lot, so I bought this toy, because of the things in it.

I bought this toy and the other two in the set for my sister and she spent at least 3 days constantly playing with them. The company must have changed the plastic they use because the clothes were alot easier to slide on than the older toys. I would recommend this toy for kids ages 6 and up because it is still challenging to dress the girls.

I am sort of shocked that this toy is still being described as a theatre with a clock and two puppets. Amazon had assured me that they would change the item's description.

I ordered this item and was surprised that the picture on the box was a different theatre than the one I had ordered, I opened it and found that it is a theatre with no clock and no puppets. I contacted amazon and they said that the description was wrong and that it would be changed immediateley. They sent me a returned merchandise authorization. But it was a day before my Daughter's 5th Birthday and she had been staring at the box for days and decided she wanted it. So we kept it. We found puppets elsewhere.

As for durabillity and fun, it has stayed together with 2 rough and rowdy kids. They rarely use it for puppets though, it's a fort and a lemonade stand and a store and the DMV (LOL)!

My daughter uses the little chalkboard to practice writing a lot and the tear away curtains delight my son. One word of caution, the little star toggles used to keep the curtains pulled back come off with minimal effort and do pose a choking hazard. My son is 2, so I pulled them off and hid them till he's older.

All in all it's a good theatre, and well made as all the Alex toys are, it gets used every day.

My daughter still says that she wishes it had come with a clock though.

This is a cute costume. I bought it to use to celebrate Halloween with my second grade class. It requires many batteries because they die rather quickly. Costume can be worn not inflated--it isn't as cute but it still looks like a pumpkin.
