Spy Pen
Made by Wild Planet
Age Group: 6 years and up
    Amazon base price: $10.99
This spy pen set will please young secret agent wannabes with its sleek silver design and multiple functions that transform a working pen into a light-activated motion alarm, a flashlight, or a magnifying glass with both long-distance and close-up magnification lenses. The set includes a sturdy, silver plastic case to hold all the different components, including the large pen that slides into the side of the case. The end of the pen unlocks the storage case, providing another secret function that kids will like. The pen's motion alarm is its best feature, with a nonthreatening beeping sound that won't be too loud for the parents or younger siblings. A clearly written instruction sheet explains all the secret spy functions, augmented with diagrams that will help even the nonmechanical parent outfitting a junior spy. Two AAA batteries are required (not included). --Marcie Bovetz, mother and former children's librarian

    Spy Tool Kit
    Made by Wild Planet
    Age Group: 8 - 10 years
      Amazon base price: $14.99
      List price: $19.99 (that's 25% off!)
This handy blue briefcase (cunningly labeled "Spy Kit") contains every tool a budding agent needs to root out any secret. The most vital piece of equipment is a listening device that amplifies distant sounds, perfect for eavesdropping on the enemy! Simply plug in the earphones, unfold the microphone, and point it at your target. Press the button, and you can hear every whisper. The kit also includes a penlight (requires two AAA batteries), and a combination telescope/microscope that can be attached to the listening device for more advanced espionage activities. Agents can keep track of everything they see and hear in the included notebook. The listening device requires one 9-volt battery and you'll need a screwdriver to open the battery compartment, but once everything is set up you'll be ready for action. Winner of an award from Child magazine.

      My second favorite!
I got this toy and it is so cool!

The listener works really well and has been dropped a 100 times but it never broke.

The light is cool because if you aren't alowd to be up or in a place your not supposed to be you can go there.

The microscope is tiny so no one knows what it is ( unless you tell them) at all which is cool.

The note pad is I think edible so try it.

The pencil is gold so that you can see it more cleary.

All in all, get this now!

      Really works
The microphone works suprisingly well, and I didn't encounter any quality problems the other reviewers commented on.

In fact, this is the one toy my 8-year-old son played with the most after Christmas.

      For pint-sized spies everywhere...
My son loves this toy! My husband and I thought that for what you get, its a bit pricey, but my in-laws bought it for our son this Christmas. It's pretty neat. The listening device works well. The microscope doubles as a telescope (you just look in the opposite end for each tool.) The whole thing snaps together into one cool looking spy instrument.

        A good gadget
If you want to get a good look at what's crawling around in your backyard at night, if you have a strong desire to play a prank on your older brother at midnight, or if you just want a way to get to the fridge without using that REALLY, REALLY noisy light switch, has Wild Planet got a toy for You!!!! The spy night scope is good for taking a closer look at things at night. It features magnificaton and a pop-up light. And for those covert missions, there is a green stealth light that dimms-down the total radius of the light beam(and it looks stealthy). I've had this for a while, and it only takes 2 AAA batteries. And for those of you who are REALLY into Spy Gear (like I am), check out the SPY MICRO KIT, the XP-4 SPY PEN, the XP-5 SPY WALLET, and the SPY BUG.

        very cool
In disguise this toy is a flashlight. Though I think this toy is very cool. There is two different features of this toy. The night vision feature and the telescope feature. 2 AAA batteries are required but the bulb is included with this toy.

Fun toy for the spy in the house
Although this is a flashlight in disguise, our 10-year old boy was really excited to get it when grandpa came to visit. This toy looks impressive with its silver plastic case. While not a 'solid' feeling, it feels much better than the other Wild Planet night vision scope -- and unlike the other scope, it worked right out of the box once we added batteries. It has some cool features such as the way that the light pops out smoothly when the button is pressed gives it a 'wow' factor. We can't speak to durability yet as we've only had it for a week but for [money], it's probably good for about two months until it gets dropped somewhere.

        Supersonic Ear
        Made by Wild Planet
        Age Group: 6 - 12 years
          Amazon base price: $14.99
          List price: $17.99 (that's 17% off!)
Across the yard or playground, through walls and windows, and even through flesh and blood, this electronic listening device pulls in and magnifies sounds to give its user a supersonic earful. Put on and plug in the lightweight adjustable headphones; angle the sound dish toward the sonic prey; then press the power button. Wow! Even far-away, whisper-soft noises come in with amazing clarity. To listen in on other rooms or for outdoor sounds, place the detachable microphone on a wall or window. And to tune in to hear a heart or stomach or lungs, use the mike like a stethoscope--it's amazing how loudly folks (and pets) thump and gurgle and whoosh! An automatic limiter prevents harmful volume levels. The Supersonic Ear requires one 9-volt battery (not included). --Ava Natov

          great
this toy works well and is great. I cant believe it is so good for such a mdoest price.

          Great Toy!!
I don't know which kid enjoys it more (my husband or my son) but they get a kick out of it. The only fear is that my son will pick up on things that only adults should hear. I asked my son what he heard outside and he said that he heard big kids saying "Hey, and then I heard a bad word." It was cute the way he put it but since then, I limited his use of it to around the house and around close friends.

          Spy Listener
          Made by Wild Planet
          Age Group: 6 - 12 years
            Amazon base price: $12.99
Remember that Francis Ford Coppola movie The Conversation, where sound expert Gene Hackman eavesdrops on a clandestine dialogue in San Francisco's Union Square? Okay, nobody's going to confuse Hackman's sophisticated sound equipment with the Spy Listener. For starters, Wild Planet's toy is plastic and powered by one button cell battery (included). For another thing, it's conspicuous, with the telescoping condenser microphone and "sound dish" clipped on to the plastic sunglasses over the left ear. And finally, if Gene Hackman were wearing the Spy Listener and turned his head toward the lovers in the park, he'd hear more of his own breathing and footsteps than anything they had to say. --Tony Mason

            5 stars All The WAY!
i would recamend this toy toy the world if i want.ITS AWSOME!
you can hear Far Far away and hear people whispering.
You have to have this toy if you want to be a REAL spy.

            It's a keeper
Just did my Christmas shopping and bought mostly
spy toys for my 9 yr old grandson. I always assemble
and try the toys out first so there won't be any
disappointed kids on Christmas. I really like this toy.
If I were 9 years old again I think this would be one
of my favorite toys. My only concern is the on/off switch,
which is very small. I myself forgot to turn it off for a
few minutes. Luckily, I remembered to check it just before
            wrapping it up for Christmas.

            Spy Camera
            Made by Wild Planet
            Age Group: 6 - 10 years
              Amazon base price: $12.99
Thanks to a high-tech cyborg-inspired design, there is no real secret to playing secret agent with Wild Planet's Spy Camera. But it will still thrill young espionage fans. The included sunglasses (a must-have for spies) are impact-resistant, UV-protected, and have cool mirrored lenses. A tiny, manual advance camera and an important-looking flip-down viewfinder both attach to the glasses. Also included is a roll of Kodak 110 color film (12 exposures). Pictures are snapped with a handheld squeeze shutter connected by an air tube to the camera. Subjects will definitely hear the camera click, but at least there's no flash to make it even more conspicuous. Parental assistance is recommended while loading the film, which is best used outside on a sunny day. --Diane Beall

              FUN...if you take it apart
First of all, this toy a bit too expensive for the tiny piece of the camera that resulted when I took the thing apart. I see many users are not having lots of fun with this particular toy, SO I suggest a little imagination. Start by unhooking the "tube" that leads to the pump from the camera. Have a parent or someone responsible unscrew the grey part of the camera. From here you can see the annoying Spy Cam border which can be removed. You should be left with a tiny box no bigger than your palm. To take pictures, all you have to do is press the tiny button next to the slider. Make sure after you take a picture (in bright atmospheres) to not wind the slider because it will accidently get pushed in your pocket. (This is from experience) Only wind until you want to take the next picture.
The pictures actually DO come out great if 1) There is good lighting, and 2)you have decently steady hands. Otherwise they come out gross. Without the Spy border, the pics came out considerably big, which is a plus.
Unfortunately, I lost my mini camera so im planning to get it off of someone's hands for a cheaper price.

Anyway, I hope this information helps.

For the "sunglasses", you can just give that to the neighbor kids.

              Junk
I bought this for my child and he was so excited....until he tryed it out. He was try to spy on some of his friends and he could not take pictures because when he looked at the picture it was more far away and could not see anything. I said he could use it for normal pictures and he said it is embarrassing but he still used it for nomal pictures......it had been two weeks from when I got that and we went to a birthday party, kids were laughing and the glasses sliped of his face and broke. He was so sad. I think those glasses do look really embarrassing and dont work on spying.

              Really, really neat toy!!!
This toy is really cool!! It is really easy to put together and then it works great. My only complaint is the film. It has only 12 exposers and the pictures are not to good. Also, for the poeple that want to know, the pictures are in a circle and have the words spy cam at the bottom.

              Tip:
Put the cord that you take the picture with down your shirt and into a pocket so you hit your pocket and it takes a picture with out people knowing...

              Pretty Cool
I liked the rearview glasses the most. However they aren't as durable as they should be. Spy University by Scholastic is more educational toward the field of espionage for kids. It's an 11 month program where you get a booklet and gadget every month.
~Anyway this toy is REALLY good at FINDING clues. THe binoculars and the magnifying glass worked well. THe finger print powder doesn't last long...but Spy University teaches you how to make your own in the booklets. Each booklet contains cool spy information, a mystery story, and cool spy activities. You have to go to scholastic's website to find out more.
~Yeah so while this toy does not offer the most advanced spy toys for kids, it will help you solve a mystery. Not too much fun when it comes to playing Spy Kids though.....

It's educational, simple to construct, and fun to build. All you need is a soldering iron and wire cutters (available in AmeriKit AK-100) and initial adult assistance.
