    Slifer durable but not pratical
Slifer is my favorite egytian god monster so its hard to give it a bad review. It has good detail and just plain looks good. However since its on a stand it has a tendency to tilt cause its weight isnt distributited evenly. So unless you have something to support it itll look all crooked.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Figure with Game: Saggi The Dark Clow & Game Jnego Jen
    Made by Mattel

      Amazon base price: $
      List price: $9.99 (that's NaN% off!)
You do not want to mess with this Saggi guy. Sinister in the way only a clown can be, this half-foot terror from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe sports a ghastly floppy hat, an evil smile, and a missile lodged in his mid-section that can be removed to reveal a gaping hole in his torso. He is only moderately posable, with single points of articulation in his arms and legs, but very detailed and colorful. The game included with Saagi is not much to write home about, a flimsy thing such as you might get for free in a cereal box, but will doubtless be of interest to the many, many fans of Yu-Gi-Oh!. --David Stoesz

        Hours of Entertainment!
My 6 year old did this puzzle all by himself. It's not too hard to find out where the pieces go, but it's challenging. He enjoys putting the puzzle together again and again. A great family project for the evening. He can't wait for another Yugioh Puzzle!

          speech therapist recommended
My daughter, who turns 2 this july, goes to speech therapy. The therapist pulls out this game to try to get my little one to not only speak, but to put the coins in the slot (follow direction), take them out, match them up, learn animals and colors. Also to take turns. This is a Wonderful teaching game! Please note the coins a small, and could be a choking hazard. But overall I recommend this game.

          Wonderful first game
This is a great first game. It is very short in duration and teaches the basics of game playing (taking your turn, wining, following rules) without being overly involved or lengthy. The bingo chip dispenser is great fun for toddlers and makes the game very enticing. I highly recommend this game! However, I think that this game is probably more appropriate for 2-4 year olds than 3-6 year olds. I've played this with several 2 years olds and they've gotten the game immediately. This was some of the best 9 dollars that I've spent and will be giving this as a gift many times.

A great game for building many skills
I bought this game for my 2 year old son and have been very pleased. His occupational therapist introduced it to him to help him with his fine motor skills. It takes two hands to put the little coins in the slot (one to hold the coin and one to hold the barn) and a little strength to pull the lever to get the coins out. Even though he is too young to play the game, he loves to match the animals to the cards. It has been great to teach him the animal names and sounds, too. He loves to play and it will grow with his cognative abilities. We highly recommend this toy!

          Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Disk Launcher
          Made by Mattel
          Age Group: 5 - 10 years
            Amazon base price: $
            List price: $39.99 (that's NaN% off!)
Although it looks like it could house any number of missiles, lasers, or other weapons, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Disk Launcher is meant strictly for card-based combat. Which isn't to say that the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game isn't exciting; it's phenomenal popularity can attest to that. This accessory, worn on the arm and modeled after the kind used by characters on the Yu-Gi-Oh! television show lets players lay cards out in either attack or defense positions and also features magic and trap card slots. It also features an illuminated number display and a disk that moves into a new dueling position at the push of a button. Perhaps not an ideal introduction to the world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but probably a must-have item for the legion of faithful fans. Game sold separately as are the three button cell batteries that are required. --Charlie Williams

            Not Bad!
I was skeptical about getting this toy for my boys, but I'm glad I got it. Not only does it keep them happy, but they play with the thing all the time. I've been waiting for the time they play with it for a couple of hours and then it end up "lost" in the rubble like most of their toys that their bored of playing with. Though their too young (ages 9 & 5) to really know how to "duel" ,they love making up their own rules or mimicking one of the Yu-gi-oh cartoons. So far its outlasted many attacks and defenses. Their cards stay in one place (instead of all over the floor or table) and they can take the toy with them, especially in the car (where most times I'm looking for lost cards that fall in between seats and on the floor). The cards stay in one place!
            No regrets here.

This toy is so cool. When my brother and I got one we went outside to duel. My brother, Danny, layed down one face down card and a monster in defence position and they both appeared. Both of our I almost popped out of our heads. Then we got used to it so we continued. It was my turn now so I layed down my Celtic Guardian and that also appeared. So then my brother layed down another card then flipped up his monster to attack me. So we just went on and on. On my final move I Ritual Summoned Black Lust Soldier. I attacked my brothers life points direct and a bolt of lightning came down out of the sky and struck my brother and he was knocked out cold. We brought him to the docter and they said he was stuck in some other dimension. Right away I new it was the shadow realm...Actualy that didnt happen and i dont even have a duel disk yet. But that would be pretty cool if that happened.

            WORST TOY EVER
Everyone thinks this thing is fun. But it's just a peice of plastic. and pluthe first day I got it the straps came out of the hole. It deosn't make any sense my arm is as thin as a pencil. and then every time I used itthe straps came back of and anyone that cares about there cards should never touch one of these card destroyers. so I say WORST TOY EVER

A way better friend than miss cleo! Especially for singles!
I have never seen an oracle more accurate than this toy! I mean I trust this toy with all my intimate questions I would never ask or tell anyone else. For example when I was 12 I would ask if so & so liked me as a friend or more only to find out the accuracy of this ball is 93% true, (for me at least) sometimes I would ask the same question twice if I got an undesired answer, to me, this means a maybe or it could go either way type of thing. But still trust us reviewers on the accuracy. I recommend this ball for personal questions, everyday questions, etc. But as for business which I rarely used it for, I hope your a careful desicion maker. You know, don't gamble your stocks or anything on this ball! If you want, I hear there is a financial 8-ball from the reviewer below.

A great & honest companion recommended for people Age 12 and up!!

              The best of the best!
I love magic 8 balls! I can sit for hours asking ridiculous questions! I'm telling you, this is definitely something you want to look into! Also, it's not tiny, like most. 4 inches is huge for an 8 ball!

Fun for children and adults alike
The difficulty of buying a Magic 8-Ball through the web is that you cannot ask it the most important question of all: "Should I buy you?" Perhaps Amazon asks each 8-Ball the variant "Should I send you to customer XYZ?" before packing. We can only hope.

When I asked my Magic 8-Ball if I should write a positive reivew, it said "IT IS ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN." When I asked if all those reading this review should buy a Magic 8-Ball it said (quite emphatically, I might add) "YES." Though the Magic 8-Ball may hedge with a "MOST LIKELY" or the ever cryptic "BETTER NOT TELL YOU NOW," it is most often a source of affirmation. Having a Magic 8-Ball on your desk can save countless hours of trying to make decisions based on long, complicated evaluations of fact.

Some 8-balls can be difficult to read, physically, that is, as the manufacture does not lead the inner mechanism to place an answer flat against the opening. Again, difficult to check when buying through the web. (Talking 8-balls, which Amazon doesn't list, solve this problem.)

Variants on the 8-ball come and go (most recently, affirmation balls and financial-advice balls have made the rounds), but these are nothing more than pretenders to the throne. When asked if these imitators could provide correct answers, the Magic 8-Ball said, "OUTLOOK NOT SO GOOD."

              Harry Potter Wizard Chess
              Made by Arco Toys Ltd
                Amazon base price: $
If Harry's enough of a wizard to hook millions of kids on reading, maybe he's enough of a wizard to make them crazy about chess too. This Potterized set is very nearly very nice. Although the game pieces are plastic, they have interesting (if not very Hogwarts-specific) designs with good detail, and they're a decent size--knights and bishops are 4 inches high. However, too many corners are cut. Despite a disclaimer that colors and decorations may vary, the simple truth is that the pieces in the box are either plain-dark gray or slightly speckled light gray. Unlike the ones on the box photograph, they look like pieces waiting to be painted. (Which would be a decent project, perhaps, but buyers ought to know that's what they'll get.) Also, the fold-out board is plain white and has to be glued to the included paper chess board, and no rules are included. --Richard Farr

It's better than what is being said.
This game is much better than what most people are putting in their reviews for this game. It is terrific! Sure, chess is long, which is why I put 4 stars. Also, in the areas where there is a lot of plastic, it's strong, but weak in areas like the knight's mace and the top of the bishop's staff (3 stars). And for the one at the very top that said there were no instructions and that you have to glue the board together, that person obviously bought a phony one.

No reviews found for this product.
                poorly made toy
Any game that gets children to think, as chess does, is obviously a great idea. That said, the pieces to this game are soft plastic and easily ruined. The board is cardboard, of course. This is just not a very well made toy. There are so many other nice chess sets out there for about the same price, that are of MUCH higher quality. Too bad the HP franchise chose to lend its name to this one.

                Good for the price
It really irritates me to read the reviews about the perceived lack of quality of the game. For the price it is wonderful. If you want a better quality (stone or heavy pieces and quality board) game you are going to have to PAY MORE for it. Quit complaining!

                Harry Potter: Levitating Challenge Game
                Made by Mattel
Age Group: 8 years and up
                  Amazon base price: $
                  List price: $34.99 (that's NaN% off!)
During the time it takes to master the assembly of the Harry Potter Levitating Challenge Game, parents and other nonwizardly Muggles will be begging for a nice, simple game of Quidditch, with its flying broomsticks and bludgers. But don't get frustrated and walk off in a Hufflepuff--if you can Ravenclaw your way through the initial setup using the instructions' minimally helpful photos, you may never let your kids have a turn at the controls. The idea behind the Levitating Challenge (more satisfying as a solo pursuit than a competition with opponents) is to control the height and direction of a small foam ball resting atop an adjustable jet of air, guiding it out of the cauldron and through a maze of your own design. Powered by three C batteries (not included), the game is unusually satisfying for a book/movie tie-in: the air jet controls are amazingly responsive, and the possible maze challenges adapt to all skill levels. The only quibble is that instruction pamphlet. But, Hogwarts and all, the Harry Potter Levitating Challenge Game is Sorcerer's Stone-cold satisfying. --Tony Mason

For $5 bucks it's worth it
We bought this toy at the full price a couple of Christmases ago, and did have a lot of fun with it. (...) Even the adults had to have a go at it.

It really works! This is worth the price! An original game
I bought this game for my son who is 7 and really into Harry Potter and he loves it. I must say it IS really cool! I've never seen a game like this before and it really works well. The ball levitates and you have to create your own obstacle course for it to go through. The "professor's" voice is realistic sounding and the game was not very hard to assemble at all. It requires 3 C sized batteries. The player can adjust the height of the ball as required, my son picked it up right away and does pretty well with it. You can also play this with more than one player to compete against each other(. . .) I highly recommend this game for the Harry Potter enthusiasts in your life!

                  Harry Potter Levitating Game
Oh my gosh this game is SOOO fun!!! My boy got this for his 7th birthday and I want to play more than him!!! Him and my other son (who's 4) are loving this game. It teaches coordination because you need 2 hands,,,,you have to control the height of the ball as well as how fast it moves forward while manuevering it through the maze. You can change the maze to easy or hard and it talks to you telling you at the end how long it took and what you ended up "Head Master, Sorcerer, Keep practicing" etc. I would HIGHLY recommend this game. VERY VERY fun!!!!!

Happy Family: Midge & Baby Dolls
                  Made by Mattel
                  Age Group: 6 - 11 years
                    Amazon base price: $
                    List price: $19.99 (that's NaN% off!)
Barbie’s best friend Midge and her husband Alan (sold separately) are expecting their second child--a little girl! Happy Family Midge has a magnetic, detachable belly (baby fits neatly inside)--which allows her to transform from very pregnant to unnervingly svelte in a matter of seconds. If only it were that easy! While the magnetic belly isn’t the most life-like example for kids, it does allow younger ones to grasp the concept of a baby growing inside mommy. Midge comes dressed in a lavender floral dress, fuchsia heeled mules, pink earrings, and--of course--a wedding ring. Baby’s accessories include a 3-in-1 crib, changing table, and cradle, mattress, blanket, bathtub, two diapers, as well as tiny teddy bear, rattle, monitor, bottle, rubber ducky, and more. Safety information: This product contains magnets. Do not use around items that are sensitive to or affected by magnetic fields. This set also contains small parts and poses a choking hazard for children under the age of three. --M. Wilson

Perfect to teach kids about pregnancy and babies!
This is not recommended for children under three except with parental supervision. Definitely, play with this doll with your little one.

Education: If a second or third is on the way, this is one of the best teaching tools to show toddlers where the baby develops, and how mommy's tummy gets big then goes flat after the baby is born. The bond between mother and child can easily be seen, and kids can relate it to themselves, making the connection quite easily. I've seen this Midge and Baby Doll make a big difference in how the first child accepts the second.

Fun: The belly is held on with magnets, so Midge can be either a sassy chick or a new mom-to-be. The kids enjoy the baby doll and all the special "Happy Family" accessories that are available. Truly, this is fun for kids.

Durable: Like all dolls who are played with her pristine condition will change with happy fingers; generally, kids take the shoes off first. Mattel makes children's toys to be played with, as opposed to the Collector's editions. They will last; some will lose fingers to teething tots, but the joy of getting to that point is certainly worth this very low price.

Why was there such a fuss among so many shops - actually pulling the pregnant Midge off the shelf? That does seem silly, doesn't it? But the ruckus was real. Congratulations to the brave storeowners who decided that this doll was a doll, not a controversy.

Since pregnancy is a normal state before a child enters the world, take advantage of every tool possible to teach a two-year-old about the new baby that will come and alter their life. Set up a happy family with mom, dad, brother, baby, and now grandparents.

Hey, Barbie and Co, are going (semi) real-life
My 3 year old loves this one since she's baby-crazy. She thinks it is so cool that Barbie's buddy is having a baby and that Barbie is the pediatrician, and that the baby has a big brother already just like her. She's seen pregnant mommies at the daycare, so Midge is no big deal to her. Warning though - Midge's rapid return to her pre-baby body had all the teachers at my school rolling on the floor laughing. As one reviewer said, if you don't want your child to have a pregnant Barbie on moral grounds..just don't buy it!! But Midge and hubbie both DO have clearly visible wedding rings. And looking back over the reviews, there are only 20 negatives out of 160 responses - which tells ya a lot !!

                      Awesome
I'm 11 years old and got this toy in Chicago. It is too cool. Delancey doll is beautiful. She has awesome platinum blonde with maroon streaks. She has cool makeup and clothes. She comes with a halter top and wrap skirt. She also comes with magazines, chair, sunglasses, purse, lotion, and water bottle. The movie is average. The animation is all right and the plot is good but the dialogue a little cheesy. I would definitely buy this doll again

                      It's Pretty Good!
My sister got this doll for her birthday last week, and she loves it!! She always wants me to watch the DVD with her, I thought it would be pretty stupid, but the music on it is pretty good, and it's a well writen story. The little green chair is cute. I love Delancey's outfits and swimsuite they are soo hip, I kinda wish they had they in my size! Overall it's a great doll. MUCH better then Bratz!
