I've only been surfing for 9 years now, and I have to say that this game was a surprise. One day I was doing some shopping...and just happened to see Championship Surfer ...so despite my low expectations of "surfing video games", as a lover of the sport, I couldn't pass up such a great deal. The game is not bad...it's actually pretty fun. Of course I immediately went to the Internet and got the cheat codes so I could unlock all the waves. The different variations of the waves are fun, and I especially like having the option to change the conditions (weather, wave height, wind direction). The different camera angles are appreciated...and the moves & tricks are depicted fairly well, although I find it difficult to stall and get barreled (or see my surfer get barreled)...but don't we all? The different styles of the surfers out in the water is evident, although I wish that the game had the option to create your own surfer, boards, etc. or a bigger selection of surfers to choose from would have been cool (I guess this came out before Archy joined O'Neill). But all in all, the game if fun and in my opinion, the best (surfing game) on the PS1.

I only wish that I had perfect consistent waves like those to ride in real life...over...and over again...

i have played every surfing game for playstation and playstation2 and this is by far the best. the realism is amaizing it is exactly like real life surfing

This is an exelent game for those who like surfing but just can't hit the beach. It has the realistic seeings of the actual ocean, and is a fun game to play. I would give this game a rating of five stars.

Honestly, I don't have this toy, but I would love it. I need to point out to anyone who thinks My Scene copied Bratz: THEY DIDN'T! My Scene girls don't have eyes bigger than their heads, aren't ugly, aren't hated by moms everywhere, etc. Here's the truth Bratz fans: your toys just plain STINK. Get over it. My Scene is a prettier, BETTER version. All the moms on this site highly disapprove of Bratz, but like My Scene. Hmm, what ARE the odds?

Mums that don't know the difference: My Scene will have a better impact on your daughter. Make the right choice. Leave the Bratz to be ugly by themselves

I bought this set for a friend's daughter's birthday. I wasn't sure how it would go over, because my friend has concerns about the way dolls present role models for girls. But I think the My Scene dolls are more hip than the traditional Barbie's, and the guys are a lot cuter than Ken. I really liked the little car, too.

My friend's opinion is that they have a lot of fun with the car, but she wishes that the trunk opened so that they could stow all the extra shoes and things they carry around. They like the removable keys and GPS system, and especially the seat belts. Ellis is a lot more flexible than Barbie, and my friend thinks it's really weird how Barbie's chunky feet/shoes slide off with traditional Barbie feet underneath (at least they're not little stumps, I say!), and that Barbie can't stand up in regular Barbie shoes.

Also, I have to say I'm disappointed, not in this set, but that the My Scene girls are not in the band but reduced to cheering the boys on. Come on, it's the 21st century! I know women who are in rock bands!

All in all, though, my friend's daughter has a great time with this set, and I would recommend it.

My daughter received the Barbie My Scene doll and she loved it so much we also bought her Madison. She loves the "Jammin' in Jamaica" DVD that comes with it. Its pretty shallow, but she loves the music and I find her playing with both of her dolls all the time. She just turned five.

This is a wonderful doll. It comes witha a red chair, a blue purse, a blue stand, a bathing suit (which fits perfectly), and two magazines. The doll has blue eyes, mixed skin, and long beautiful curly hair. Madisons make-up is a brick red color of lip gloss, blue and gold eye shadow, and rosy cheeks. The Jammin' in Jamaica dolls anre the best line of scene dolls. These dolls look more like real people then barbies. They are so preaty. At first I did not think that these barbies would be popular, but when I found out they were selling like crazy and my friend had three I started to want one, then I got two for my birthday and I was so excited to show my friend and this was one of the ones that I got (I also am getting Chealse Chillin Out). I spend hours a dy playing with these dolls. These dolls are very durable. Their hair last a long time and it is sake to get Madisons hair wet (I pretended they lived on the beach in a beach mansion). That is why I rated her 5 stars for ddurabilaty and 5 for fun. This toy is educational because it give girls more creative ideas. In other words this is a awsome doll.

This is the best tyco boat i have ever had. It goes a fast speed and has good steering. i have two of these boats a 27 MHZ and a 49 MHZ They both run fine. i dirve them on big lakes usally and they run over the wave like its a sinch!!! only thing is make sure you clean the engine out before winter and after winter to make sure its runnning fine. :)

within a week of buying this, the transmitter stopped working, and i was unable to fix it. cheap construction makes it not very durable at all. i'd recommend spending a bit more and buying a quality setup, as this one will only disappoint.

i got this boat with my birthday money and i love it. i would only recommend it if you have other full function remotes of the same frequency because my renote broke. but this boat rocks! itll take on waves 3x its size and it is fast!!! so if you have another rc(s) this is a awesome boat :7

I am ten years old, but I loved this playset!! It is so cute,and fun to play with. I loved all the little fisher price accessories!!

As a midwife this toy scares me. What are we teaching our little girls about how babies are born??!! You just take your belly off and there's the baby. Then you have a flat belly again. I don't have a recommendation of how to have the baby born, but I don't think this one is right.

As much as I love the educational value and the fun, I think it has one too many little accessories. It is cute and fun to play with, but do you really need to make the parts that small. Also, the main piece falls backward a lot and ruins any placement of things on the shelves. But besides that, it was easy to put together and instant fun for our 6 year old next-door neighbor.

My daughter received this doll for her 3rd birthday and has played with it in the bathtub just about every night since then. The velcro on her top is *just now* starting to show wear. In my opinion, that's not bad for a toy that has been played with in water for the last 7 months. She likes to have the fins on and then take them off so that Ariel has legs by the end of her bath so the fins are handled often...still not torn or damaged in any way.

I think the doll is as durable as I would expect. My daughter isn't necessarily gentle with the clothing as she pulls them on and off so I can't imagine why the other reviewers have damaged clothes after a short amount of time.

Wow! This doll is gorgeous! Her long flowing red hair, shimmering tail, and sparkling bikini top make this the perfect Ariel doll. This is much nicer than the one at the Disney store. Most of these reviews complain that the doll is not durable and the clothes come off, well don't give it to a little kid! I think this doll is intended more for collectors. This doll is perfect for me, because I've loved Ariel ever since I was a little girl. If you want a doll for a little one, try "Bathtime Ariel" That is a cloth doll that would be more durable.

This doll is simply beautiful. Most of these reviews say that the doll's clothes don't stay on, and the doll is not durable. Well it's perfect for me! I'm a 16 year old who loved the little mermaid while growing up. This is the best Ariel doll out there, much nicer than the one at the Disney store. That one is so awful, you can see the legs through the tail, and the top is blue! Ariel's top is NOT blue, it's purple! But enough about that, THIS doll is wonderful. If you are buying for a young one, I recommend also buying "Sparkling Ariel". That one is Ariel in her shimmery pink dress from when she has dinner with Eric. The reason I said buy that too, is that one is Ariel as a human, and this one featured here is her as a mermaid. That's easier for a little one playing so she won't have to take off the tail when she wants Ariel to be a human.

Ok, the first review for this set made me laugh. You know why? It's immature =D*laughs* the doll doesn't have to be perfect, ok???? Just as long as the children love it ^-^(Drama session)
Well, I don't have the set, but just by looking at the pictures, it'll look fun to play with. It also could give girls a head start to be thinking about, erm-I don't really know how to say it, but like be thinking about you know, " What am I going to wear today?" "What will I wear tomorrow?" That type of thing.
Girls will have a lot of fun with this I think. No matter if eyes aren't even or anything else, girls will have fun with it.

Bratz are doing well because they are well done and aren't cutting a swath to maximum profit by cheapening and neglecting the workmanship on the dolls and accesories.

Anyway on to the doll

My doll had her head tilted to one side in the package as most of these "Getting Ready Chelsea" dolls do . So I had trouble finding one with even eyes as unfortunatley the vast majority of these dolls seem to have one eye at one height with the other eye somewhere above or below due to faulty paint application .

As a result of the head being tilted in the box I was unable to notice that one of my doll's eyes was in fact on her cheekbone, instead of the proper area

And my doll appeared to be about the best one in the store so I hate to think what that means for people just getting one randomly in the mail.

The plastic is so cheap I was actually able to permantently reposition] and reshape] Chelsea's arm just by bending it inward and bending her wrist up .

She also had sloppily rooted hair leaving a small bald gap in the rooted hair on the side of her face and she has noticably less hair than other Chelsea dolls have had in the past.

By less I don't mean length or style , I mean less hair to actually cover her head

All three "Getting Ready Room " dolls have hair issues with Barbie actually having Huge thin to bald gaps in the middle of her head so hair quality across the line seems down .

The accesories are okay ....Mostly solid molded plastic items that are either repainted older peices or identical unchanged reused older pieces from dolls past .

Nothing teally new save for the lamp and flowers .......excluding of course the furtniture .

The extra clothes are nice enough though anyone saying these dolls are more wholsome than the Bratz needs to look at the tube top ultra mini skirt peices that come with this set .

Now we come to the biggest letdown .... the Armoire.
The armoire is a nice design and would make the set worthwhile save for the fact that the back is made of cardboard ...Big deal right ? lots of toys have cardboard parts

EXCEPT that this cardboard is not the thick sturdy cardboard of old , NO this cardboard is paper thin and is actually used as part of the packaging.

The clothes are sewn right to the back meaning that upon rermoving the clothes you have a thin papery armoire back full of holes

I recommend taking the little 3D carboard packaging inserts (the little posters and such) and pasting them over the holes as best you can . Which is what I did

I LOVE Chelsea. She is my FAVORITE My Scene. I think she is BEAUTIFUL, but I don't like how they changed her lips. I like their OLD lips better. The smile makes them look sort of SILLY. I think this Chelsea is a GREAT toy just not as pretty as the OLD My Scene. She is FUN and PERFECT to dress up. Chelsea ROCK!!!

I purchased the Happy Birthday Barbie for my friend's five year old daughter's birthday. She is Barbie obsessed, so I had a feeling she would enjoy celebrating her birthday with Barbie. Needless to say, this Barbie was very well received.

I combined Happy Birthday Barbie with a child sized dress up tiara and it made a great combo. The birthday girl wore her tiara and looked "just like Barbie".

If you've got a birthday girl in your life who loves Barbie, this will make the perfect gift for her!

Buyer Beware...I was looking forward to giving the doll described and pictured on this website as a gift, but when it arrived it was NOT at all as pictured or described on the website. I contacted customer service who assured me that they would fix the problem, but when they sent me a replacement, it was the same wrong doll. I, then, contacted customer service again and was told that they couldn't do anything to fix the problem.

I love tis item. i love barbie's lovely dress. she looks so pretty. if i could i would turn into barbie. She has the best life and she is the most beautifil person alive in the whole world.

This toy, although at times messy, appeals greatly to my 31/2 year old. I suggest you give it a try.

My daughter loves this doll. She loves to carry her around and play with her. She loves to "feed" the doll as well, but it is a little difficult for her to push the bottle far enough into her mouth.

Some of the pieces that come with the doll can be easily lost, and the top of the potty sometimes wants to come out, but those are the main drawbacks. Also, in order to keep her pottying, I have to keep filling her bottle, and in order to avoid a mess, I have to continue emptying the potty.

She is a very pretty doll, however, and my daughter loves to play with her... whether she's making the doll go potty (which she only does on her potty chair) or whether she's just carrying her around the house.

I purchased one of these dolls a few weeks ago for my twins. I'd read and bought into the "Potty Training for Dummies" method, and one of their ideas is to have a doll that wets, figuring that, if a kid can show a doll how to use the potty, then they can do it, too. I did a little research, and found that this doll was the best for the money.

My twins (who are boys, by the way), love this doll. She only wets in the potty, which I definitely appreciate, both as a teaching element and as a mom who has to clean up. She comes with a LOT of gear, specifically related to toilet training.

The bottle and sippy cup are both a little bit hard to fully insert into her mouth, which does make for a bit of a mess sometimes, but my boys seem to have figured out that they have to get the nipples pretty far in, and we're doing much better with that after a short time.

In fact, they loved it so much that I ended up buying a second one, because they both wanted to feed her all the time. They certainly don't seem to mind that she isn't soft - both dolls are getting lots of hugs and love from my kids.

My only gripe - why not a boy? Our dolls do tend to stay naked most of the time (easier for the potty, anyway) and without clothes, you can't really tell. However, especially as a potty training tool, it might be nice to have a little bit of anatomical correctness, (especially for boys) as well.

However, that's only my OWN gripe - from the point of view of two 2-year-olds in my house, this doll is fantastic.

I have already purchased the original first version of WW available back in 2000 at $50 a pop. Needless to say that this version is now here but with better boots and somewhat easier to fix hair. The outfit is still a little flimsy but what can you expect. Overall, i like this doll except for her weird face and arms. Thos arms are like two crazy worms! The original had only a few better things like a cape with stars, curly black mountainous hair, and nicer arms that did not look like two worms. The packaging on this is much simple since it is not an exclusively over priced Wonder Woman figure. What I do like is that this womderwoman figure you can open and play with or just display while saving the 2000 edition in the closet. I also do not like her star underwear thingy. It's not that flattering but it soes have better and more stars on both front and back. You can go ahead and remove the emblem on her chest and (if you are craetive and picky like me) make aother one by using embroidery! I just don't understand that little lunchbox or purse thing?

As a doll collector and WW collector for many years, I regret never having had the chance to purchase Ideal's Super Queens line, but thank you Mattel for this wonderful series! This Wonder Woman is BEAUTIFUL and much more reflective of the comic book character in looks and costume than Mattel's 1999 Wondy. I wish she had more of an action figure body with more points of articulation than are available with the current "bendy body". (...)

I was surprised to hear that mattel was producing another wonder woman doll when they had opened their pop culture series with a beautiful wonder woman doll in 1999. I thought "there is no way that this doll will compare",but I was dead wrong! This doll is simply stunning!! I love almost everything about her. The outfit,bracelets, tiara , belt and boots all look amazing and unlike the 1999 doll the stars on her shorts go all the way around as opposed to just the front. Her hair is shorter but looks very natural and i love her darker skin complextion, which makes her look more greek. The only issue(which is minor) is her bendy arms. i realize that this is a childs toy and they will love to bend her arms in many ways. My concern, being an adult collector is the affect time will have on the bendy arms, Whether
or not they will crack or split over time or if any wires will poke through(etc). But please don't let this concern keep you from buying this wonderful doll either as a gift or for your collection. And you cannot beat the 15.99 price for this great barbie collectable.
