Premise of this game: word definitions, but don't let that stuffy premise fool you. A person, elected or declared the balderdash `ref' by a roll of dice reads out a word. Only he/she knows what the `real' definition is. The rest of the participants write down their definitions and hand it over to the ref, who reads out each definition. The participants then vote on which is the correct definition. If you guessed right, you get the maximum points, but every person who thinks your definition is the right one wins you points as well, making this the only game that rewards knowledge as well as creatvity. So, the word is Nipter. What is your guess?

Balderdash is a great game that combines wordsmithing and bluffing. To begin, each player rolls the dice to determine who will be the dasher first. The dasher then draws a card, reads the balderdash word to the players, and spells the word. None of these words are ones used in everyday language. (Examples include fleer, runnel, pontage, etc.) Each player jots down a phony definition that sounds credible (or, if you happen to know the real definition, write it down instead), and gives the slip of paper to the dasher. And then the hilarity begins. The dasher must attempt to read each definition and the real one without showing any emotion ... which is much more difficult than it sounds! Some of the phony definitions are hilarious, and often the real definition is too. After all definitions have been read, the dasher asks each player which definition is the correct one, noting that player's choice on the slip of paper. At the conclusion of the round, the players who chose the correct definition move two spaces on the board. The players who received votes for their phony definitions move one space for every vote. And, if no player guesses the correct definition, the dasher moves forward three spaces on the board. For subsequent rounds, each player takes a turn as the dasher. This game is fun, educational, and incredibly hilarious. Someone will crack up with laughter in every round!

This game can be a lot of fun if you have the right crowd to play with. Balderdash is unique and a great idea because it so simple to play and you can expand on it.

I think the best part of the game is when you invent a new defintion of a word and make it sound so good that you get all of the votes. Where did this idea for a game come from? Some genuis somewhere needs to promote this game more to get it out there.

Again, for simple fun and a quick after dinner game on a calm evening, Balderdash is the game of choice.

My son LOVES his new HeMan figure. The sound is great and the armor is different from his other HeMan figures. He has not put it down since he got it!! The only draw back is that HeMan's one hand does not close enough to hold firmly to the battle axe and his sword pack somes undone now and then (it does pop back in place easily). Overall, I would recommend it to HeMan fans; both my 4 and 6 year old sons find it lots of fun.

i love this thing, i bought one around x-mas but couldnt find any of the variant till about a month later at [a physical store]. so i bought 3 of em'. Great toy no matter what you say, the video is fantastic, campy as [heck] but still great to watch over and over. the one saying gets annoying but everything makes up for it in the long run.

My 3 yr old daughter received 2 of these dolls for Christmas. The one in the pink outfit & the one in the lavendar outfit. She said they're twins & plays with them both equally. She has dozens of other baby dolls & only plays with these. She has all of the Little Mommy accessories also & plays with them all day!! She has had other dolls & accessories in the past & hasn't played with any of them like she does with Little Mommy!

My 16 month old daughter received this doll from her Great Aunt after not really showing much interest in Dolls - she has become completely attached to this doll since the day she received it. She holds it when going to bed and still has it when she wakes up in the morning. She feeds it, puts it in her swing, cradle and just carries it everywhere she goes - GREAT DOLL!!

My 2 1/2 year old daughter received this doll for Christmas. Although it does not have all the bells and whistles of the other dolls she received at Christmas, she LOVES it! It is lightweight enough that it is easy for her to carry. She loves that bottles fit into her mouth and the clothes can be removed easily. We gave one to a friend's daughter for her birthday and she instantly loved it too! If you are looking for a basic doll that is durable, lovable, and one that can be adored, this one is it!!!

This doll looks amazingly like the people of Portugal.
It has amazing Facial features and the dress is exquisite.
It's a good price, great bargain and a magnificant barbie doll.

I collect Barbies. I started at the beginning of this year and have 46 in all in my collection. I don't play with them. I keep them in the boxes. But Princess Of The Portuguese Empire was the first barbie I got to start my collecting. I am Portuguese myself and I was browsing through Wal-Mart one day and was shocked to discover that a Portuguese Barbie was made. For I always liked Barbie's and started to collect them seriously after the Portuguese one came out. She's gorgeous! Her dress is a beautiful dark brown color and is of Renaissance Fashion. She is great for all collectors out there. A great doll.

Gorgeous gown, lush curly hair, intelligent expression; great for redressing- she looks good in everything.

I don't know about educational value-- I throw the box away before I get the doll in the house. Dolls are for PLAYING, is what I say.

I am a 30 year old mom and I got this game boy game as one of my 5 year old's first game boy game. My daughter loves this game and enjoys playing all the little mini games in the activity mode. For me, I find I AM THE ONE stealing moments to play this game, but mostly in the mission/adventure mode. It is very addictive, challenging (but not so challenging that my five year old couldn't do) and the graphics and sound are excellent. There are many lands to explore, (cloud city, marketplace, crystal caverns, magic forest, dragon playground & atlantis), lots of mazes, hidden areas and fun little activities that never bore. Trying to train the little pegasus is a lot of fun. If I was my daughter's age, this is the game I would have chosen as my first game boy color game, but I am partial to Arabian themes anyway. The only annoyance is saving the game, it requires a lengthy coded password. Worth every penny.

My 7 yr. old daughter loves this game. She plays it on those long (and short) car trips.

Awesome paint job on batman. But the reason we're all buying this is for nightwing. Good sculpt, cool Billy clubs. Overall a very cool two pack. I rated the education 2 because you don't learn much from them. Action figures are supposed to be fun not educational. Still very good. A+

In the beginning, Mattel looked as if they were going to just keep pumping out Hasbro type figures, with the early 2-pack series, and the Justice League figures.
Being a serious collector, I would buy them, anyway, but, I would not be happy.
After a phone call to Mattel, I was assured my complaints and suggestions would be taken into consideration.
Apparently they were, because then came the new Batman line; highly articulate and a great sculpt.
This particular set features the single best Nightwing figure ever. He looks cool, and has a fresh look to him.
Mattel has done very well with this series. This 2 pack would receive a score of 100%, except they re-released it in series 3.
That alone drops the score.
Bottom line:
Pro's: Best Nightwing sculpt ever. Nice set of accesories. Competively priced (...)
Cons: A second release in the 3rd wave with no alterations, is rediculous.
Final Score: 85. (100% for the first edition).

nightwing is a great toy and his outfit is cool I love the night sticks he makes the set worth bying. but batman is wearing a ninja type suit, it's really ugly the silver shines way to bright. mattel is doing a great job on these new batman toys I dont even play with toys really but these toys have been making me play with them but i also think that mattel should make toys like mr.freeze,two-face and clayface ect. I have every two pack batman and nightwing, batman and superman and batman and robin all I need now is batman and joker.

I think the Shakira doll is great because it was the first doll I owned that had a guitar.She comes with two outfits. She also didn't cost that much.

I bought this doll and must say that i couldn't keep my eyes off her in the KB store. I knew that i just had to get her sooner or later. She comes with two authentic outfits, two pairs of high heel shoes (which you can't tell in the picture because the pants cover them), a working guitar, and a photo card of herself. Her hair has black roots also which are pretty cool. The doll is shaped like Shakira (very curvy) and looks just like her. I love her facial detailing which is hard to tell online. Her face shape is like the new Lea/kayla face shape used on dolls now. Her eyes are a dark brown that are emphasized with eyeliner and nude eyeshadow colors. This look is balanced out with nude lipcolor and a hint of blush. I like that this version of the doll has her lips lined and her face seems smaller than the other version. Her pants are so authentic looking. Just a gorgeous doll! I would reccomend to any Shakira fan. Beautiful Beautiful doll and very exotic looking.

Mattel's efforts to bring Shakira into the world of the doll, while it is not the best celebrity likeness I've ever seen in a figural toy, is certainly better than many of the others that have been done for musicians over the years (New Kids on the Block, anyone?). I admit I don't have this particular Shakira doll, but I did purchase the other one with the black "leather" vest and pants. Without purchasing, I wonder one thing with regards to this version of the Shakira doll, which I'm hoping another review might answer at some point. Namely, just what length boots is this one fitted with in her outfit?

The dolls are really cute and fun. It is really fun with the first birthday playset. The cute little kids sized table and other Birthday gifts go well with the other birthday fun. I like the cute little toddler size of the dolls. It was great to add something so fun to my Barbie collection.

i love(and own) all of the happy family line. i love that mattel is making a family line.dont get me wrong the single teen barbies are great but i think this is better i play with them as leaset once a week.the babys are SO cute(1yr olds and newborns) i like that the babys dont all look the same. and the grandparents house is really fun too.

These cute little babies are loads of fun to play with!! It is nice that Nikki has friends to play with, but I can't decide on their names would have liked it if they had names. The one yr. olds are realistic in shape and size and have a very cute mini table for themselves. I babysit for a little kid who has a table for herself that is mini, though i must say that this one is much cuter!! I really love this toy!!!!

This is a great toy!! I as soon as i saw it, it reminded me of the FRIENDS Coffee house. I like how it is really durable and it doesn't fall apart. Everything was really easy to put together unlike other Barbie platsets. This is a great toy!! Every girl should have it.

I was blown away by the handiwork and attention to detail put into this toy. From the couch to the coffee table. It looks as if it has a real woven mat. Its so cute and so awesome. Anyone who loves toys will love this set. Barbie has somewhere to go!

Ok well My daughter Stephie is totally obsessed with my scene when she first got her my scene barbie doll, she had a lot of fun possibly, we saw the funky cute pink room with shoes portraits and style clothing and when we saw that the barbie came with the room it was so economic not like those bratz they are so expensive and they have no feet and there face is too big I mean I got her one and she doesnt even pay attention to it she love the my scene barbie she already has like the whole collection this room that comes with this doll is so incradable at fisrt i said its too much money but thinking about its cheap and the barbie is so beautyful, I trully recommend this toy its a lot of fun I even play with my daughter and have tons of fun when she grows up she even tells me she wants to be blonde and wants to be like barbie I am so satisfited with this product.

Its cool because you can act out scenes and pretend shes going on a date. Sometimes, I pretend that she just woke up and is getting ready to go to the mall with friends. Its so much better than tv.

The doll itself is very pretty. Especially her beautiful smile. Now the Bratz lovers can't complain that my scene is copying bratz because the new my scene doesn't have an ugly scowel like the bratz do. The only problem is her hair. It is wavy and way too thinck! It is very hard to style it and it looks so plain when it is down. WARNING: be very careful with that kind of hair because it melts in the heat! The hair is made out of very, very thin layers of plastic and plastic melts in the heat. So never get it wet and then blow dry it because all her hair will fall out. But overall this doll is very fun and comes with cute outfits. I recomend it.
