a cultural, lovely doll.this doll was a wonderful thing, for me to see in a store. it really teaches kids about other cultures, and other places in the world. it really made me think of england, and other beautiful places in the universe. i do not have this lovely doll, but i named her rose pinkette. i think its a lovely name for a lovely doll.

Fabulous!!I bought this toy for my son who finally got to pick out a toy after potty training. It's now the first thing he goes to get in the morning and he plays with it for hours. The only bad thing was, no play mat was included and you can't buy it at the store, it must be ordered from matchbox.com. Highly recomended!!

Great for the Scooby Doo fans!My 3 year old is a big Scooby Doo fan and just had to have the Matchbox Haunted House. He loves it. It is sturdy and easy for him to play with. The only complaint I would have is when the van goes down the staircase it tends to sometimes get stuck or come down on it's side. This doesn't seem to bother my 3 year old, but it may bother a child who is a bit older. Overall I think it is a pretty good toy.

Haunted fun!My kids ages 3 & 5 just received this and it's great. It holds together fine. In fact it hasn't even come apart since I put it together. They are usually rough on most toys and this one is no exception. The noises are great also. I would recommend this for any child. Mine love it and I'm going to get another as a gift!

Disheartened and DisturbedWhile the product is a welcome addition to the "Happy Family" line and an excellent idea in the ever expanding world of Barbie, my 6 year old daughter and I were disheartened that the "family photographs" included on the sticker sheet did not reflect nor depict the African-American family we purchased, hence, the 3 star rating. If you choose to purchase this particular product be aware that the accessories included will not reflect the product in the box. To a 6 year old little girl this was incomprehensible. She felt it detracted from the realism of the product which affected her pretend play. While we purchase dolls representative of all cultures we predominantly buy African-Amer. dolls because we are.

Play with cautionGrandma and Grandpa Kitchen can be more fun it it were more durable . It is not durable at all. Grandpa went to set down and broke his bones in both of his legs. By the way, he must not be made to sit, only stand. You know that is very hard on an old man!
MY neice was over and she decided she wanted to give Grandpa a break and give him a rest, she went to position him to a sitting position and both of his legs broke! If he were real, we would have to call EMS and send him to the hospital! Poor man!!
This was a Christmas gift to my daughter and she cried her heart out. We only had Grandpa a few days. I was not happy when Grandpa broke his legs either. Not only to mention about the doll, the table and chairs seem to be flemsy as well. Barbie , you just don't make things like you use to!

war machinethis gun is the best gun i ever tried. It can get alot of fire power to soak your ememy. Good defence shield when you are out of water. kills on the battlefield. All my friends have it. The Sheild Soaker 2000 needs more powerThe first thing I noticed was that no matter how fast I cranked the gun or what nozzle I used, there was not much power to the water stream. It does not shoot far at all. A weak stream of water only arcs about 10 feet. My old Super Soaker gun shoots a huge blast of water 30 feet or more. The water stream would cut out when I tilted the gun up. The arm strap really hurt too. Also the sheild kept folding over backwards and turned over many times. I think is the worst water gun I have ever owned and my dad returned it.

Mayor maybe, munchkin no.I purchased this doll for my 13 year old son. I was under the assumption that he would like it, as his name is Tommy. However, much to my chagrin, Tommy does not like all things Tommy. Despite the fact that he will only wear Tommy Hilfiger clothing and only eats only Tommy Smucker's Brand Preserves, Tommy does not like Muchkin Mayor Tommy.
The name is a bit deceiving as well. Webster's describes a mucnhkin as "a person of diminutive stature". I feel that this does not accurately describe Tommy as Mayor Munchkin's size of 5 inches. Realistically speaking, his size would be fairy-like at best. I personally know someone who has a relative that is a munchkin and I feel that it is safe to say that it would be offended.
Also, I feel that this doll is made with haste and cannot withstand the daily use by my retarded son. Last time I had looked at the doll, Tommy had removed his pants and had also scratched off the ends of his mustache, giving him the appreance of a Adolf Hitler looking woodland nymph. Maybe your son is smarter than mine, but seeing as how you have read this entire review, I doubt it.

We're not sure what Barbie sees in SpongeBob SquarePants. After all, she's the most historically significant and perennially popular fashion doll in American history. He's a kitchen sponge who lives under the sea. But, as the title of this toy clearly states, Barbie loves SpongeBob. Maybe she's got more of a sense of humor than we ever thought. She's certainly dressed whimsically enough in a yellow T-shirt with SpongeBob's face boldly emblazoned across it. Her outfit is rounded out with blue SpongeBob print drawstring pants, which would seem to be perfect for a trip to the beach. The beach?! Is she planning, perhaps, to meet SpongeBob himself? All kidding aside, this is a pretty interesting intersection of pop culture phenomena and is probably worth collecting for that reason alone. A SpongeBob charm clip is also included. --John Moe

I Like SpongeBob Barbie, but the hair could be betterI am a SpongeBob fan, and had to have this doll. The outfit is too cute, and comes with a keychain. The pony tails was a great idea, but the hair is so uneven. It looks as though some little kid cut the hair. I think that they could have made it even. I want to get the new ones that just came out. I hope that they made the hair even on the new ones.

BAD HAIR!Well, most kids these days like Spongebob...even my aunt...but it is kind of a dumb idea...
I do have her, and she's NOT my favorite...she has a keychain and an outfit that looks like PJs. And...
HER HAIR! She has horror hair. Pigtails make it IMPOSSIBLE to tame, and her hair is uneven. Just don't get her...get a My Scene or Beach Fun Barbie...THEY'RE worth it.

Ello-rific!Ello is extremely cool and sooo fun! You can build stuff for your room, jewelry or cute people. The most expensive sets cost about as much as a Barbie doll, maybe a little more. I bought this set last week and I just love it! Some of the pieces spin and others are glittery. I've made fairies and bugs and all sorts of things. There aren't any building pieces, but lots of flowers and beads and things like that. And for just 7$ at Toys R' Us, this set is Ello-rific!

Ello is more fun with other figure setsI gave 3 stars for the fun-factor because the dolls you make fall apart if played with... not very fun at all.
The ello building sets that you use to make the structures are fun though!
Personally my daughter and I think ello is more fun when you use it to make houses for little dolls and my little pony.
Its perfect for the plastic miniature sets like hamtaro, that come with little figures and furniture, but no house.
You might want to look for something like that to use in your ello instead.

Sorry ello, Just not good,Hi, I am 8. I love to buld stuff. But this!? No. The peaseies will fall aprt easy. yes tes is girl-colored legos, but I prefer the boy-colored legos. If you didn't notce in the lego magizine, there is girl sets too. The people look weird too. My freind has this she said, peases get lost. I do not recomend this toy to ANYBODY!!

Fun, but the heads do pop off!!!These are a great idea in the Polly Pocket line, but the heads of the dolls pop off very easily. I got on here to find out if I could purchase replacment dolls without having to buy a whole playset. I'm not having any luck. This discourages the parents and the kids from purchasing more of these toys. I hope Mattel will improve on the quality of these dolls, because the idea itself is great. The parts don't get lost as easily because of their magnetic abilities. Mattel, if you read this, please find a way for the dolls to keep their heads on. :o)

Polly had a head and head popped off!!Though my two girls love receiving Polly's, the joy is short lived. With in a few days their heads ultimately pop off. EAfter the first few heads popped off and they had learned to be extra careful, to the extreme of not letting no one play with them fearing the head coming off. No matter how careful they tried to be the head would pop off.
I refuse to buy the stretchy Polly now, and my girls are even more leary of spending their hard earned allowance on them either.

WHY HAS POLLY CHANGED?These polly's are great. My daughter strives on role play and I tried many of the Polly's that have stretchy clothes. I also tried the old Polly's...I have now tried these. If you have a child who likes to go straight to the role play and not dress little dolls then these are for you. Alternatively my Mother likes them...She uses them for fridge magnets (as do I )...

Wing problemMy four year old daughter wanted this and the mermaid doll. I bought both and am sorry I did. The mermaid review is on that site. This dolls wings will not flap unless it is being held at a certain angle. Within one day - one of the wing spokes that plug into the back is already broken, the fabric that hangs down is tore and there is glitter all over my daughter and the house. I do not recommend this doll for any child with an imagination as it will be a disappointment.

Great for the Imagination!My 3 yr. old saw these on t.v. and went nuts. She really wanted the blue one, which I have not been able to find anywhere, but she settled on the purple one instead. She loves it! It really prompts her to use her imagination. She uses it to play with her other fairy tale barbies, but she also use it with other toys because it's so versatile. I mean, you can use a fairy in any scenario! Anyway, bottom line is, it's been a lot of fun for her.

monster jam funMy little boy is 3,and has had this for over 6 months and still loves it and plays with it every day,has all kind of fun things to do with it,i took out the slime cus, i do not want that all over my floor,has 2 little cars that when the trucks run over them they go flat,and you can put them up again,and the ramp you can adjust to the fast you want the trucks to go and there is a trailer house that if tte trucks run over a tire the trailer with jump apart in the air and you can put it up again and agian.
and you can use it with all hot wheels cars not only with the monster jams.

LOVE IT!My 3 and 4 year old boys as well as the 5 year old little girl that comes to visit just LOVE the Monster Jam Slime Arena !! We feel the arena holds up better than most of the other hot wheel sets. As for the slime...I just make more!!! Nothing (including slime) lasts forever!
I'm sure once the newness wears off, my niece will begin playing with her. At this price I can get her another one to save since she likes her so much.
