Since when does the dark knight crusade gotham city with a bulky backpack and flippers? That is so pathetic I'm not even gonna go there. Plus, with a sparkly green suit you can't be very stealthy can you. So lame, and not even fun. F-

What happened to the dark in the Dark Knight? This figure certainly doesn't seem to uphold the Dark Knight Persona. Mattel has seriously dropped the ball with their new-line of Bat toys. Instead of giving us classic Batman action figures, they've been bombarding us with clowish toys such as these. The color scheme is all wrong and since when does Batman wear all these different outfits. Trust me on this, no kid or adult in their right mind is gonna go for this. It's too laughable. My recommendation would be to get the Batman Zip-line figure...that is if you can get one.

This toy was given to us by our son's grandparents. What a piece of junk. It doesn't work properly and it constantly falls apart. I finally had to hot-glue the darn thing together.

Hot Wheels is missing the boat here. They should bring back the classic side by side gravity launch racing set. I found that they still make this item...in India. It is called the Hot Wheels "Dual Loop Duel" set. (...)

This is another disappointing toy we bought for our son this Christmas. You're supposed to put the car on the top level and push a little button, and that's supposed to kind of shoot the car on its way. But there's a little shelter or something on the side of the road just in front of where the car shoots out from, that protrudes partly into the roadway, and keeps the car from staying on the road. The car always hits that thing and bounces off the road. A freind of mine in Kansas City bought this thing and told me they had the exact same problem.

Also, the little trestle pieces that hold part of the track up in the air do not snap onto the road peices. They just kind of balance there, and fall over at the slightest nudge. Also, the instructions don't really show you how the track peices fit together. The assembley instructions are the worst - they must have had the Chinese prison laborers write that thing. It's kind of like a puzzle. So in that way, it would be kind of entertaining as a puzzle, if they had presented it that way. So, another toy which we haven't had for 2 weeks that's headed for the landfill.

I remember when I was a kid, Hot Wheels and Matchbox made those sturdy yellow and orange single straight tracks with the ramps, that you could set up on chairs and stuff, they were great. But that was 30 years ago, when workmanship and fun meant something in the toy industry.

Hot Wheels, our children's lives are infinitely more rewarding with you in the world.

The box says it is for 4-8 yrs old. It is not for 24 months to 5 years. My 3 year old daughter was unable to put this together without a lot of help. Every single piece was warped. As a result none of the pieces would stay together nicely.

I highly recommend staying away from this puzzle -- *many* pieces are warped so that they don't stick together, and it makes it very frustrating to try and play with. Without trying to bend pieces into some semblance of flatness, I don't see any way someone could complete this puzzle. We also got the blues clues "my size" puzzle, and while not quite as bad, it definitely had a lot of warped pieces. We will be returning these puzzles as they are completely useless. Shame on Mattel for putting out such a shoddy product.

Okay, so I am 27 years old, and have a 25 year old brother, we are well schooled on hotwheels, heck my mom has even saved the old hotwheels city suitcase sets, so I am strictly an old-school hotwheel girl. Spider Slam is BOGUS!!!!!! Okay, after you spend a million hours putting it together you sent a car down it...THEN IT FALLS APART. Try all of this happening with your 3 year old at yoour feet. Yeah, you get my point. We have a million hotwheels toys and all of them are poo. BIG PIECES OF POO! What's up with Hotwheels, have they totally forgotten the late 70's and early 80's. Spider Slam is no fun and it is sitting in my laundry room banished next to the Tiki TORTURE (opps, TORCHER)that the darn thing is supposed to hook up to, by the way IT DOES NOT.

this toy is to much money it should only be about $12.99
pluse it is a boring toy you should add more things to it and lower the prices!

I thought this was the most wonderful gift idea for a child! Both the doll and the bear models are cute, cuddly and sturdy.
However, buyers beware no star is being named "forever" as advertised. On the package a tiny disclaimer reads "International Star Registry star naming is not recognized by the astronomic community. Your star's name is reserved in the International Star Registry records only."
At best this is akin to naming your Cabbage Patch Kid - less the deceit intended.
At the International Star Registry's web site you can, for a tidy sum, "name" a star without buying the toy!

A more honest description might be "Nickname A Star"
