Frustrating Fun!

If I had one complaint, it would be that Alaska is on the bottom left corner of the puzzle; it would have been nice if they'd made the puzzle larger so they could stick Alaska in roughly the right place. Not a big deal, though.

While the bare-boned graphics won't win any design awards, Chu Chu Rocket does offer an impressive online gaming experience. In addition to the solo mode, the game let\ s you connect with gamers from around the world for true multiplayer madness. Whether you compete against\ others or tag-team to solve the puzzles, Chu Chu Rocket provides an exciting entry point into \ the emerging world of networked gaming. (Note: Online features require players to have an existing IS\ P connection, sold separately.)

Good DC Game -
pretty darn fun
Wow..That was random..The game involves leading mice into your spicific rocket, while competeing with the other players that are trying to direct the mice into *their* rocket. Multiplayer wise, this game leads to a lot of vocal confrontations, and blows can be exchanged. It's one of the best multiplayer games i've ever toutched.
My only regret is while this is Sega's "First Online Game!", the network for it isint exactly "Top of the line Hardware"..Lag is frequent, and depressing. But this is the ultimate party game. You seriously cannot be without this if you're doing multiplayer gaming on a dreamcast, it's just that fun.

Gameplay is simple. The play area contains balls of various colors, and players control a cannon at the bottom of the screen that shoots one colored ball at a time. The cannon is immobile, but can be aimed left or right, and launched balls stick to those that are already on the playing field. If three or more balls of the same color are touching, they are cleared from the board. These simple rules offer more strategic possibilities than you'd think, and the fact that perfect aim is required to place the cannon shots where they're needed adds to the frantic action that ensues each time a game is started.
Bust-A-Move 4 incorporates a new combo system that makes spectacular board-clearing shots possible, but also decreases the difficulty of the game significantly because the combos happen far too often. The game is still fun in two-player mode, but the developers oddly left out the superior four-player abilities for which this game is famous. Still, with hundreds of puzzles to solve, arcade-perfect graphics (which isn't saying much), and a decent two-player mode, Bust-A-Move 4 serves up plenty of entertainment value. --T. Byrl Baker
Pros:
- Crisp, clear graphics
- Hundreds of puzzles to play through
- No four-player mode
- New supercombos are lame

Bust-A-Move series still going strongGraphically, Bust-A-Move has never been really splashy. Simple character drawings and animations are complemented by mono-color orbs. As the orbs are broken and fall, the characters run, jump, and yell in Japanese accents.
Sometimes this is a bit annoying, however, as some of them are so loud they distract from the game itself. One robot character even lets out a giant laser beam which causes a cascade of loud explosions to ripple across the bottom of the screen. It's kinda annoying when it happens over and over again.
The tutorial mode seems to have been translated from Japanese by three chimps. The English explanations are choppy and odd. But it won't matter much, since the game is fairly easy to pick up and play right off the bat. The variety of modes, difficulty levels, and puzzle combinations will make this a welcome addition to any enthusiast's Dreamcast collection.
Another Great Chapter in the Series.

Kids must solve more than 10 different puzzles and activities to solve each mystery. The adventure is never the same. The mystery changes each time you play, with new clues and a different villain and outcome. Turn up the gameplay and the challenge with three levels of difficulty: Spooky! for ages 5 and 6; Spookier! for ages 7 and 8; and Spooktacular! for ages 9 and 10. The game builds thinking and problem-solving skills by utilizing research skills, deductive reasoning, and logical analysis.

Thank goodness it was a gift!
Not as good as I expected.

Great, when it works
A great way to enjoy a favorite game!I have three criticisms about the program: 1. The list of allowable words has some words that no one in their right mind would know. The program provides definitions for most words, but not for these obscure words...and the words you need definitions for are the obscure ones! 2. Mr. Boggle (the computer expert) comes up with all the obscure words; and 3. If you make two computer opponents with the same skill level, they list all the same words and therefore cancel each other out. It's an easy way to win, but it seems like an oversight on the part of the manufacturer.
I don't enjoy the 4 variations quite as much as the original, but they are interesting to try.
Incredibly addictive puzzle game
