Wonderful puzzle, not as easy as it looks, but is not redundant because of the many details in the image. It was a real brain teaser.

I wanted my kids to remember NYC as she was, thus my doling out much more than necessary for a puzzle.

Went looking for a jigsaw puzzle to challenge us as the evenings turn cold...and I will walk over to the (fabulous) Times Square store to purchase it. Very surprised to find the WTC towers depicted without any text alluding to 9-11. Sad. Manhattan is the island and borough (not Manhatten.)

I love this puzzle! It is fun and challenging. I believe that it is a good puzle for anyone who wants a challenge. However I find that there is one problem with it. THERE ARE NO DIMENSIONS TO TELL YOU HOW BIG THE PUZZLE IS AFTER YOU PUT IT TOGRTHER!!! I would appreciate it if dimensions were added to the box. I am sure that anyone else who purchases this puzzle would appreciate it to so that they know if they are going to have to purchase a puzzle mat as well if they order this puzzle. If you like puzzles that are not your everyday puzzle I would recommend that you purchase this puzzle because it would make a worthy addition to any puzzle collection.

This is an amazing puzzle. The detail and specifics to this puzzle will wonder the mind. It doesn't matter how many times you look at this puzzle or how long you look at it you'll never see the same thing twice. There are so many different ways to look at this amazing puzzle. The creator paid extreme attention to detail and the idea of the old century dragons and the idea that they were the ultimate warriors...You can see everything from castles to soldiers, to many smaller dragons on the inside of this puzzle. If you love dragons or mystical creatures this puzzle is a must have.

Challenging and fun. Loved doing the NY skyline as it will always remain in my memory... with the Twin Towers. Focusing closely together on this NY harbor picture sparked questions from my kids and conversations that we might never have had otherwise.

This is a fantastic game. As a teacher it is a great tool for teaching shapes, colors, and attributes. There are three ways to play this game depending on the level of the players. This has also been a great game at home with our own child.

My 2 year old daughter has this puzzle and thinks its wonderful.

Unlike many puzzles, with just one character on it, the picture is brilliant having lots of different trains, etc on it. It is easy to fit togehter, with parts of a different character or scene on every piece. She can easily put Thomas, the sheds, Harold, etc together thus eventually making the whole puzzle.

This is by far her favourite puzzle. For one, it's Thomas! And for 2, it's well-made and 'easy' to work out how to put together.

My son who just turned 4 years old in December received this for Christmas. I'm amazed at the beauty and durability of the pieces. He put it together about three times (with help) the first time we opened it! I never seen him so excited about a toy and to my greater surprise--a puzzle! Each time he placed a new piece in (sometimes with my assistance and sometimes not), he'd ask me to turn around and then ask me to look. When I looked I praised him for his accomplishment and he squealed with excitement. He literally jumped up and down almost after each piece was placed! He told me this was his favorite gift for Christmas and believe me he had quite a few more that were more expensive. I'll be buying more Thomas puzzles from this company in the near future as I'm very impressed.

My son and I have been doing puzzles together since he was two, but most of the puzzles that claim to be for kids are too complicated or have pieces that are a little too small for him to work with; so he usually "helps" me by talking with me as I do the puzzle and occasionally placing a piece. He likes this big Thomas puzzle because, at age 4, he can do it all by himself. The pieces are big, which not only makes it easier to grasp and manipulate, but easier to comprehend the shape and the picture pattern as well. Of course, he likes that it is Thomas, and he even likes the "cool" box it comes in.

So this puzzle has a lot of replay value, because whenever we start a puzzle session, he will eventually move to this one to show mommy and me that he can do it all by himself, and that makes him feel good.

For a pre-schooler needing to work on problem-solving skills, this puzzle was excellent! Not too big or too small, and the Noah's Ark theme was perfect. We had a blast pointing out all the different animals and making their sounds. The puzzle has held up well, and we'll continue to have fun with it.

I got this puzzle for my daughter's Easter basket and she loves it! What realy sold me was the great quality of this puzzle. The pieces are all well cut out--no peeling paper or edges and they all fit perfectly. My daughter is three and a half and I help her with the puzzle until she gets good enough to do it on her own. She wants to break it up and start over as soon as she has finished it. The Noah's Ark artwork is beautiful--highly detailed and very interesting to look at.

I will keep Ravensbuger in mind for future puzzle purchases.

My sons wanted to do these puzzles over and over again when they were two years old. They exclaimed, "I did it!" with pride when they were able to put together the 4 piece puzzles all by themselves. They were also happy to put together the puzzles with 6 to 9 pieces with a little help from mom. The puzzles with more pieces offer an appropriate challenge to kids who are a little older. When we get this puzzle out, my four-year-old and my six-year-old each like to choose a couple of the trains to put together because they like the Thomas characters so much. The puzzles are made from cardboard, so they did wear down a bit after being played with oodles of times by such young children...but they have been a great value. These puzzles are a quick and fun activity to share with your kids.

My 3 and 4 year old sons love these puzzles!! There is a great variety of pieces and they really enjoy figuring out which piece goes to which puzzle. I highly recommend buying this if you children love Thomas. They will get hours of satisfaction for putting them together themselves.

I highly reccomend that you do not get this toy it gave my little boy 6 cardbord cuts. I give it a five in durable because this toy is a killer DONT BYE BELIEVE ME!!

We got this puzzle a short while ago when our 4-yr old began blowing away the 24-piece puzzles. While not as easy as the normal 24-piece puzzles, because these pieces are slightly smaller, he quickly figured it out. Our neighbor's children, 4 y/o twins, also love this puzzle and the other Ravensburger puzzles we have.

This is a superb puzzle for almost any child (I recommend over 3 y/o) to enhance problem solving skills, vocabulary building (teaching what the ocean animals are) and for fun. I am becoming a huge fan of Ravensburger puzzles and have bought several more receently. They are not easy, but not difficult and the overall value for these puzzles can not be estimated for your child's future learning. Highly recommended.

Very cute puzzle! Very happy with product.

My son loves the book. However the puzzles bother him. The pieces are tiny...much smaller than other puzzles in this age category. Although they are durable, I would recommend the company making them bigger so they don't get lost. This seems very pricey for a paperback book and 3 mini puzzles.

The fact that you get three puzzles and a book in this one package is what really makes this set a good deal. The puzzles are sturdy, with cheerful scenes of Thomas and Friends. The manufacturer was clever enough to put different patterns on the backs of the three puzzles as well, so you can separate them into three piles before trying to build them (and thereafter keep them in separate baggies, if you want). Or, you can mix them all together from the start for an additional challenge as your child grows up.

The 5-7 age range is probably pretty accurate. My son is 4, and these puzzles are still a little beyond him, but he loves to "help" me put them together by finding pieces for me, talking me through them and placing an occasional piece.

The book really rounds out the deal. At first my son didn't seem to show too much interest in it (he has tons of other Thomas books), and didn't care for me to read it to him for several days after we got it. But after the very first reading, I was surprised to hear him talking about the stories the next day and for days after. He was particularly struck by the character of "Cranky" the crane, and now he refers to all cranes that he sees as "Cranky."

This was most definitely the highest quality puzzle we have ever bought. Our son has put it together many times, and it has not bent or broken like so many other puzzles we have bought.

I would highly reccommend it to any Thomas fans!!!!
